Trigger Warnings: hints of violence, suggestive themes
The rest of the marauders turned to see Sirius walking into the common room, with a bored expression on his face. He kept his head down before approaching them and clearing his throat to get their attention. James looked up and acknowledged him first.
"Oh look who-"
"Can you lot stay out here for a bit, so we can talk in private," he asked, gesturing to Andromeda who stood behind him.
They all gave him a confused look before James spoke up.
"And who exactly would you be speaking with?" He asked, looking around the room.
Sirius rolled his eyes and muttered something before turning behind him and reaching for the cloak, which Andromeda still had on. He reached slightly below him before pulling the cloak off of her.
"Ouch, Sirius!" Andromeda exclaimed, rubbing her head. "You pulled on my hair!"
Sirius folded up the cloak before tossing it to James. "Sorry, Andy. Come on, let's go," he said leading her towards the dormitory.
"Give me an hour," he yelled to the boys, before opening the door and throwing the cloak on his bed. He shut the door immediately and then wandered over towards his bed to sit on a suitcase on the floor.
"Sit down, he said patting on his bed. Andromeda sat and looked up at him.
"Sirius spill it."
"Please don't be upset with me Andy, I should've told you sooner I found out at the wedding and I-"
"Just tell me," Andromeda demanded, glaring at him. Sirius sighed and put his head in his hands, struggling to look her in the eyes. After a minute or so, he looked up and met her dark eyes, swallowing.
"Right. Andy...Rabastan and Rodolphus..they've been using dark magic," he started.
Andromeda nodded, sucking in a breath.
"Illegal magic," he added, looking at her.
"I know. He told me last night," she stated simply, looking down at her lap.
Sirius felt a rock drop in his stomach.
"Andromeda I swear I'm going to-"
"Look, you can do what you want but in the end it won't change anything, Sirius."
"Andy-"
"And why didn't you tell me?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
Sirius got up from his spot on the floor and hopped on his bed to sit next to her. She gave him an icy glare before he spoke again.
"I should've told you, Drommie. I'm sorry," he whispered. Andromeda didn't change her stance or expression, she waiting for him to go on.
Sirius pursed his lips and looked down at the bed before raising his eyes to meet hers. The look in her eyes was killing him. Sirius knew all too well that she was trying her best to compose herself but any comment or statement he made could make her burst.
Sirius sucked in a breath. "Andy, please. I made a mistake. I knew you were already so worried I didn't want to make you feel more scared than you already are, or rather, were".
Andromeda felt her hand twitch and she was finding it more and more difficult to breathe normally. She shook her head and stared at her lap, not wanting to look at her cousin at the moment.
"So you would rather me wait until he tortured me or used imperio on me then," she said, her voice breaking slightly.
Sirius froze. He felt a coolness take over his body as he heard Andromeda's voice break. He felt tears form in his eyes but he quickly blinked them away and put his head down so she couldn't see him.
"Andromeda, you know that I would never let you walk into harm or danger-"
"But you did," she snapped, her lips quivering. "I can't believe you didn't tell me, Sirius. Do you have any idea what last night was like for me?" She asked, letting a warm tear roll down her cheek.
Sirius shook his head and let out a breath.
"I thought I was doing the right thing. I wanted to tell you-but I didn't want to scare you-"
"You wouldn't have scared me, Sirius," she started, looking up to meet his eyes.
"But he did".

"Pass me the chocolate frogs, Moony," James said, lounging on the couch in the common room.
Remus gave him a confused look before looking down at the floor.
"I thought you had them?" He asked, glancing around him but seeming unable to find the box of chocolate frogs.
"No you I gave-"
The door to one of the dormitories suddenly slammed shut, making all three of the boys jump and turn towards the noise. Andromeda walked quickly through the common room, with her head down. She didn't bother to control her tears at that point. James stared at her and opened his mouth to speak, but then saw Remus' face, who was giving him a look and shaking his head. Before they knew it she had left the common room and ran off to the dungeons.
She walked down the staircase quickly and began to sprint down the hallway, wanting to get into her dorm quickly. Her thoughts were going a mile a minute and she could feel her heart racing. Maybe she had been a bit harsh with Sirius, but so much was happening so fast and she didn't know what to do about it. She gave a sigh of relief when she saw the dungeons ahead. The relief was short lived when she saw three boys standing outside it. Lucius Malfoy, Evan Rosier and Rabastan stood outside the entrance to the common room, the three of them deep in conversation.
"Andy?" Rabastan asked, giving her a concerned look.
"Not now, Rabastan," she muttered, walking past him and entering the common room. Rabastan didn't listen and followed her, grabbing her arm to try and slow her down.
"Let go of me," she yelled, pulling herself away from him. Rabastan gave a quick laugh before rolling his eyes and reaching out to grab her arm again, this time with much more force. Andromeda whipped around to face him.
"What do you want?"
Rabastan pulled her towards him slowly, staying silent for a couple seconds.
"Come here," he whispered, looking into her eyes.
"Go screw," she mumbled, turning in the opposite direction to try and get away from him. Rabastan groaned and pulled her closer to him, making her stumble slightly.
"You're hurting me," she whispered, looking up at him.
Rabastan stared at her and continue to hold his grasp on her arm.
"You're doing it to yourself, Andromeda. Relax," he said, loosening his grip on her and wrapping his other arm around her back. He pulled her into him, resting her head on his chest. Andromeda stopped fighting him and relaxed slightly at his embrace. She wrapped her arms around his back and closed her eyes.
Rabastan sighed before giving a low chuckle.
"That wasn't so hard was it?" He asked, rubbing his hand up and down her back.
"There's no reason to be upset, Andromeda. About anything. Not when you have me." Andromeda hated that she felt her heart flutter at his words. For a moment she seemed to forget about everything as she stood there in his arms. He bent down slightly to plant a kiss on her head.
"Come with me, you need to rest," he said releasing his hold on her and leading her into his empty dormitory. He led her over to the bed and told her to sit before drawing the curtains around them.
Rabastan took a seat on the bed next to her and started rubbing her shoulders.
"Let me help you relax," he whispered, moving her hair away from her shoulders.
Andromeda somehow found herself nodding. Her breath was quickening and she felt a sudden nervousness at the urgency of his touch.
"Relax," he whispered again, leaning in to kiss her on the lips.
Andromeda swallowed and let herself relax slightly. She dropped her shoulders and closed her eyes.
