On the 21st day of the month of September (that's a little shop of horrors reference) we FINALLY got the first episode of the next batch of season three! Now all we have to do is wait agonizingly until next Monday! (I'm starting to have once upon a Time season seven flashbacks) anyway, here's the next one!
Chapter fifteen: face it all with you
Scrooge
It was official. Scrooge and Daisy had been stuck in the asylum for far too long.
As the days went by, they didn't know what their public images were like out in the outside world.
But they had some good guesses.
And unfortunately, most of them were correct.
Daisy was the Ophelia, the crazy yandre girlfriend who was obsessed with Donald to the point of madness.
Either that or she was the innocent one, and they focused most of the hate on Della.
Or she was the one who "tragically " lost her mind when she lost Donald.
Scrooge was seen as the one who didn't give a damn about his own nephew's demise. Some people thought of him as a suspect in his own right.
What none of the outside knew was that none of it was true and that they didn't even realize what they were saying.
The medics seemed to know they had been there too long as well.
Every once in awhile either Scrooge or Daisy would hear something about something that sound an awful lot like the word "lobotomy ".
They needed an escape plan.
When one of the medics came in to bring them dinner, He came alone.
The door was, by chance, wide open.
The screen nearby showed gene fighting with Glomgold.
This was their chance.
They ran for the door.
Soon, they found themselves running down the corridor, with the medic running after them.
Success!
More or less.
Naturally, the one medic started calling in back up on a walkie talkie, but they were getting too close to the exit, for the other medics to get there on time.
In just a few short seconds, they were outside.
Webby
She knew exactly what she saw.
Goldie O' Gilt had been alive and well the entire time.
And she had ran out of her bedroom.
She had to go after her.
This was evidence.
She bolted right out the door.
She wasn't the only one chasing the blonde.
Dewey and Della were after her as well, along with granny and Huey, chasing her all the way down the stairs.
The chase didn't stop there.
They made it at least half the way down the block, before they caught her.
"Why am I not surprised?" She remarked. Her voice was familiar to Webby, like the sarcastic voice she heard before the African gray parrot escaped the amulet.
"Goldie O' Gilt. Nice to see you're still around." Della remarked.
"You're that girl in Louie's photo!" Webby exclaimed.
"Didn't I stuff you and your grandmother into a closet?"
"What?"
"Nothing."
Granny was shocked.
"That's ridiculous! You're supposed to be..."
"Lost in a rockslide? Yeah, that's how he's offing everyone these days."
"Who's "he"?" Granny asked.
Goldie tried to talk, but her bill just snapped shut.
"It happens to you too?" Dewey asked in shock.
"Dewey? Is that you?" Goldie asked.
"Yeah."
"You grew up!"
"Not by choice."
"I can't say I'm surprised." She smiled at him.
"We can't say anything to anyone else." Della said.
"You all know what's going on?" Webby was aghast. Was that why they could never hear what Dewey and Della had to say?
Dewey nodded.
"But that doesn't make any sense. Lena told me what was going on over the phone and didn't have any trouble." Huey piped in.
"How do you know about Lena?" Webby asked.
"Who's Lena?" Her granny asked in shock.
" I remember everything." Huey said.
"Finally!" Della yelled happily, scooping Huey up in a hug.
"You know about our old lives?" Webby asked.
Huey nodded.
"You all know about our old lives?" She asked them all, except for granny.
"What old lives?" She asked.
Everyone besides granny nodded.
"What were we like there?"
And just like that, the moment they all tried to speak, their bills all snapped shut.
Webby sighed. The outside force must be trying to keep the truth hidden.
"Now, that we have been reintroduced to each other, where's Scrooge?" Goldie asked.
Naturally Huey, Dewey, and Della couldn't help themselves.
"Ooooooh!"
"Shut it!"
When Webby noticed the teasing way the others reacted toward Goldie's question, she couldn't help but wonder exactly what was her relationship to Scrooge.
"Mr. McDuck got sent to the asylum." Granny said as calmly in spite everything that was happening.
"WHAT?!" Goldie screamed. She looked over to Webby. "when did THAT happen?" She asked in shock.
"A couple weeks back. I think he found out everything, like Daisy." Dewey replied.
"Daisy? The same Daisy Your uncle couldn't stop talking about?" Goldie asked.
" you know where uncle Donald is?" Huey asked, barely containing himself.
"I was stuck with him and a bunch of other people who got written out of the story, of course I know where he is." Goldie answered.
"You were all stuck in the amulet this entire time!" Webby said.
"What amulet?" Granny asked.
"Lena's amulet. Keep up Beakley!" Della yelled.
"Anyway, where is this asylum?" Goldie asked.
"It's over there, on that island." Webby said, pointing to the building resting on an island across from the mansion.
"He made the money bin into an asylum?!" Asked Goldie.
"What money bin?" Asked granny.
Webby sighed again. This is all going to make sense soon. She thought.
Dewey
Everything was going to be normal again.
at least, as normal as things could get.
Goldie was back.
They knew were uncle Donald was.
Huey remembered.
Lena remembered.
Everything was going to be fine.
Louie
He noticed how, Max never talked much about his life, other than those brief mentions of his girlfriends and his dad.
He wondered about his dad especially.
Was he a bad person? Was that why Max was estranged from him?
Every once in awhile he'd wonder about the girlfriends too.
Mostly about Roxanne, he never really thought of Mona that much, he didn't know why but she just sounded so forgettable.
He never mentioned any other friends besides the girlfriends.
Did he even have friends?
He didn't know.
But then again, maybe he could...
No, he was not going to use magic again.
It got him kicked out of the family.
Family...
He and max were very different individuals, Max was older, Louie had a job as a clown waiter, and homeless for the most part.
But they were the same in others.
For one thing, they both had the same views on family.
That it was nothing but trouble.
But at the same time, every once in awhile, even they had their doubts.
Daisy
She forgot what it was like to be outside.
She didn't mind it though. Now all she and Scrooge had to do was run across the bridge connecting the asylum/money bin to the mansion.
They already had a head start, no doubt because of Gene.
They'd already run at least ten yards.
Of course, the medics (or glomgold) weren't going to just give up the fight.
Backup was on their way.
And so were the bloodhounds.
"Sic him Pluto!" Daisy heard one medic scream.
"He dragged a dog into this too?!" Scrooge exclaimed angrily.
"Who's dog is it?"
"An old Friend of Donald's but that's not important right now. Just run for your life!"
They didn't stop running,they couldn't stop running.
They weren't paying any attention to the screen nearby, but if they had, they would have seen Glomgold trying to hold his own against Gene.
And Gene, shockingly enough, was winning .
But Glomgold was fighting back.
And it showed.
Daisy could tell.
Every once in awhile, the amount of medics would decrease, or increase, depending on who was winning the fight.
Sometimes there would only be one bloodhound chasing them, other times it'd be several.
By the end of the night, there were two victors.
Gene.
And two Ducks home at last.
Sorry if the ending or the last bit of Scrooge's POV is a bit rushed, but other than that, I think this is great! And, we got synopsis's for the rest of the next batch of episodes!
