From above, the sun shone on the side of light, however rain poured down heavily despite the sun shining brightly. Ursula Flint looked distraught beyond end as she searched around amongst the death eaters for her husband. She had long stopped caring about the girl and could care less who the father was. In her heart, the only one person that mattered was the man she loved. It was true when people say love is the strongest magic on earth. "Regulus? Have you seen Regulus?" she asked Bellatrix. "Where's my husband?"

Bellatrix stared at the girl she once thought was her niece, may it be by blood or not. She couldn't believe that the child of Voldemort was not birthed by herself. While both sides were dumbfounded about Genevieve's true identity. They knew now, which side she would choose despite her kindness long ago.

"Those who wish to live, join my side. Those who don't…" Voldemort rose his hand up towards Genevieve. "Will perish alongside this castle."

Neville Longbottom limped to the front of the crowd, pointing a finger at Genevieve, "You. Did you know?" he asked. "Was all those years a lie?"

The young girl smiled at him, finding how relieving it was to see the once shy boy, become strong enough to protect his friends. However, what shocked her most about this entire incident was that the father she never knew about, was Voldemort. Unlike Harry Potter and Voldemort, she was unfamiliar with Parseltongue since it was selective and rarely happened. Whenever it suddenly occurred, she thought she was merely hallucinating.

"I asked you. Genevieve! Answer me!" he yelled, feeling betrayed by the girl. "The times we all spent together. What was it?"

Voldemort looked at his daughter, wanting to know the answer to the question as well. Whatever her answer was, will determine how he will see her and treat her from now on.

Clenching onto the locket that still laid safely across her chest, "Pointless." she replied.

Ronald Weasley held onto Hermione's hand tightly, knowing the only reason why Genevieve was the way she was now, was because of them. The two knew that they needed to destroy that Horcrux to have a fighting chance with Voldemort, however, given the circumstances, it's probably impossible.

"Everyone that died, how did you feel?" Neville demanded while using his hand to point to the sea of bodies that laid lifeless across the pavement. "Our friends, family, classmates, professors. Did not one matter at all?!"

Genevieve looked past the boy who demanded answers and towards the blonde-haired male who had his back turned on her. No one knew how hurt she was when Regulus died protecting her, no one knew how hurt she was when she was being used by both sides, no one knew of all the pain she endured and suffered. Now even Draco had decided to let her walk the dark path alone once again.

"People die everyday. Friends, family, classmates, professors." she stated, "Not only you lost friends and family today. I lost the man who raised me and I even lost the man that loved me."

Ursula looked at her daughter after hearing her words, not wanting to believe what the younger said was true. She pushed aside all the death eaters, begging to Merlin that her husband was simply in the farthest part of the ranks. Not one was Regulus Black. Looking over at Hagrid, Genevieve continued "Even the boy that I once thought would never die had passed. Give up, Longbottom...it's over."

"No." he growled. "IT'S NOT OVER!" With that Neville pulled the Gryffindor Sword out the sorting hat, holding it in an attack pose. "Dumbledore's Army! Fight with me!"

Battle cries rung throughout the side of light as they each raise their wand to the sky as if saying they'll fight to the death for those who've passed. Genevieve, held out her wand and flicked it, creating a fire that set the hat ablaze, incinerating it to nothingness. She had hoped everyone simply laid down their wands and joined the Dark Side, leaving all the bloodshed behind. Taking a look at the man who claimed to be her father, the Dark Lord nodded his head as if understanding what she was asking.

"Nagini." she slurred, holding her arm out at Neville. "...Attack."

Nagini seemed reluctant at first, but nevertheless, charged out at the male who held the Gryffindor Sword out. With the snake's lunge, both sides resumed the fighting, making it a full out war to the death. Ursula played no part in fighting, rather she stood silently, watching as curses and hexes were sent flying left and right. Draco, who had lost his wand in the fiend fire, took it upon himself to fight using his fist. Effective, No.

"Oi, Lover Boy!" Fred called out, tossing his wand towards the blonde. George smirked at his brother before the two rolled up their sleeves, revealing ammo tied across their entire body. "We'd rather die blowing ourselves up...then we'd be totally on. Fire!"

Draco looked at the two as if they were insane before George took one of the tiny rolled up parchment, lit the tail and threw it over towards the Death Eaters. Nothing happened for a brief second before green smoke filled the area with a foul odour dispersing its toxins out. Draco smiled at the two, finally understanding why so many people had loved to be the twins' friend. Unbeknownst to them all, during the moment of non-clarity, Harry Potter had disappeared from the arms of Hagrid.

Genevieve stood by her mother's side, holding her hand as they looked at the shambles they created. Ursula's eyes were red and hollow, knowing the one reason why she stayed alive had been ripped from her.

"He's dead...isn't he?" she questioned. "Regulus is dead." The elder continued to babble on and on about her dead husband as if she had gone mad. Tears streaked down the female's face as she felt completely empty inside.

"I'm sorry..." Genevieve felt heart-broken for her mother. "I promise to bring his body back once this is over."

"Where is he?" Ursula asked, walking towards the battlefield almost zombie-like. "Where's my husband?"

"...Second Floor...but. I don't know about now."

"Harry?" Hagrid questioned out loud. "HARRY!? WHERE'S HARRY?!"

"..." Voldemort knew something had gone terribly wrong. Chaos reigned upon the castle as death eaters dropped left and right, while students' bodies laid lifeless amongst the castle floor. "Harry Potter!" Voldemort screamed, knowing that the boy was still alive.

"Genevieve! Come!" Voldemort yelled, grabbing the girl as they apparated inside Hogwarts. Ursula Flint had disappeared within the dust and debris that exploded from each side. Draco Malfoy who was still busy fighting his way to join the other's inside; his father and mother dared not to attack. Lucius deflected any spell he could to protect his boy while Narcissa aided her son in taking down death eaters. Much like how Genevieve had protected Fred and George, this time, Draco had defended the boy who had lent his wand to him.

"We've got it." Fred stated, throwing another explosive firework towards Yaxley who charged at them. From the corner, Lee Jordan had dashed full power, slamming another death eater down with his entire body. "Find her! Bring her back! We still owe her 9 sickles!"

Draco didn't know what to do, he was afraid to leave. More importantly, he was afraid she'd lost her way forever. He would also never forgive himself if Fred could not protect himself without his wand, therefore he exchanged him. He strapped the fireworks to his body and gave the male his wand back.

Genevieve on the other hand stood face to face with Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley. Voldemort quickly attacked the boy with the scar, which was exactly what Harry had hoped for. He led the man far away from the battle that occurred. Far enough that nobody would accidentally get hurt by any stray spells or curses.

"How nice to see you two again." Genevieve smiled, placing her palms down to signify for Nagini to lay low. "Been well? I see you two...are together now."

"Please." Hermione pleaded. "Vie. Come back to us."

Genevieve glared at the female, "And what!? Have you stab me in the back again? I'm not an idiot!"

Ron stood a step in front of the girl he loved, "No...Genevieve. Listen to us. We never meant to use you like that. We loved you, we truly did. We were just scared..."

"Draco said the same. Scared." Genevieve replied, holding the locket tightly. "You had no idea how much I suffered because of your cowardice. I was scared! Did any of you care?! You know. I only wanted two things in this life...love and acceptance. I only wanted love and acceptance! I didn't ask for immortality nor unlimited power. Neither did I ask for immense knowledge nor to become a reigner of the Wizarding World! I just wanted to be your friend!"

"I...no. We did love you Vie. We still do. Please, just come back to us." Hermione stated, holding her arm out, showcasing the 'mudblood' scarred on her forearm. Genevieve frowned, seeing the scar that Bellatrix had engrained on the girl for life. "Vie...if not for us. For Malfoy...he truly loves you."

Nagini swayed back and forth, ready to attack once given the signal.

"Love?" Genevieve took a deep breath, "All you want is this right?" she asked, holding out her Horcrux and pointing to Nagini. "If I didn't have it...would you still come here to say you want me? Or would you spare me no glance before I drop dead like the other death eaters?"

Hermione was wary of the snake who kept flashing her fangs at them, "Of course we'd protect you!" she stated. "Genevieve...we hurt you. There were many bad things we've done and regretted. But the one thing we don't regret was being friends with you. Sharing memories with you. You were the greatest part of our childhood and you still are."

Ron spoke, holding his hand out to the girl as well, "I was wrong for using your feelings. I was wrong to use your love. But trust me when I say this. I enjoyed our time together and I want to continue being your friend. Let's start over, all of us. Let's go back to the times when we spent days throwing snowballs at each other and sneaking butterbeer illegally."

"For our past friendship." Genevieve replied, closing her eyes before turning away. "One is better than none. Do as you see fit. Nagini."

Hermione understood this as she signaled for Ron to kill the snake, but Nagini, who had other thoughts, attacked the two on her own accord. Genevieve left the two, not bearing to see the outcome of who would win. Neville Longbottom, who stood across from her a few feet away, held out the Gryffindor Sword threateningly. Genevieve turned her head back to show him that Ron and Hermione were currently fighting with Nagini. Neville wasted no time to aid his housemates as he sprinted past the girl and headed directly toward the snake. He sliced cleanly through Nagini. The snake's body was separated into two as they fell to the ground with a loud thud. While the battle ensued, Genevieve was rather preoccupied in finding someone, or even someone's body.

"Draco?" she called out amongst the explosions that bombarded the castle. "Dragon! Where are you!"

However, the body she had not been expecting was the elder female who walked inside the castle without defending herself. Ursula Flint laid limply next to Regulus Black's crushed body. A large rock was atop Regulus's lower half while Ursula simply laid with a bloodied hand on the male's face.

"Mother?" she questioned, shaking the woman but receiving no answer. "Mother you can't just lay here! He's dead! Come on, what do you think you're doing!"

She flipped her mother over so the elder could face her, but the female's eyes were soulless. For the tiniest moment, the girl's heart skipped a beat, knowing what had happened. Ursula Flint had rather taken her own life, painfully dying next to the man who she loved, than to live on with her daughter. Her wrist had been slit, ensuring her slow death, however, the woman held the same expression as her husband. Relief.

"Was I such an annoyance?" Genevieve questioned her mother sadly. "That you and father were so eager to leave this world? Never seeing me again?"

"..am I that unwanted…? Did I ask for too much? Is this my retribution for being greedy and asking for your love. If it is...I take it all back..." Genevieve sunk her head into her mother's chest, weeping as both the people she had called her parents, laid dead in front. She used to think she was an orphan because of the way her parents had treated her. Yet, this time...she had truly lost the people she called mother and father. "Draco…" she suddenly gasped, remembering who she had originally searched for. "Not Draco too...please…not Draco..."

Bellatrix's roaring laughter caught her attention as the elder Black danced happily, kicking bodies off of the dining table.

"Twisted.." Genevieve mumbled, running up to the pile of bodies that laid stacked on each other over the floor. "Please...don't be here." she whispered to herself over and over again as she moved the bodies to see if Draco Malfoy was one of them. Ginny and Luna each threw their fair share of curses, hoping to land one on Bellatrix Lestrange. As Bellatrix shot the death curse at Ginny, the younger dodged it in the knick of time.

"Genevieve."

Genevieve turned from her position to see a bloodied Draco looking at her. His face was covered with dust and blood while his clothes were either torn or burnt. The girl froze on her spot, thankful that he was still alive just as he promised.

"OUT OF MY WAY!" a shrill voice screamed, pushing her daughter and Luna out of the way. "Not my daughter, you foul, loathsome, ugly bitch!"

Molly Weasley pushed up her sleeves and with the swish of her wand, the battle between her and Bellatrix began. It was evident where Ron had got his attitude from, and quite frankly, it was the best. Draco paid no mind as to what was happening behind them, rather it was on the girl who looked at him sadly. Despite her messy look and scarred face, the girl still looked beautiful in his eyes. This will be his last chance to pull her away from the dark side.

"Do you remember who you were...before someone told you who you were supposed to be?" he asked. "Do you remember...the little girl who said she would stop her act when she was with me?"

The girl looked at him before shaking her head. "No."

"Do you love me?" he questioned with a gentle smile.

"...No. I-I can't." Genevieve was afraid to love him. If she wanted his love, the moment she turns around, will he be dead like her mother and father. Will he cease to exist in this life. She couldn't have that. From behind, Slughorn anxiously casted a jinx at the girl, not taking any chances to see if she was on the side of light or dark. Draco who had used up the fire explosives and neither had a wand, used his body to protect her. The blonde was sent flying back and knocking into the pile of rocks that pierced through his left leg.

"Draco!" Genevieve cried out. Her heart raced, and this time, she was the one that was scared. She couldn't bear to see another person hurt because of her, especially the person whom she cared for. Regulus was dead. Ursula is dead. She could not. Would not. Watch Draco die as well.

The battle had reached one center space, the Great Hall. Bodies laid amongst the corridors and hallway or what used to be the corridors. Blood splattered in all directions.

"So many children." Bellatrix cackled, throwing the death curse at Molly Weasley. "How will they feel watching their mummy die in front of their eyes?!"

Molly Weasley smirked, deflecting spells and throwing her own curse, "Don't you worry about my children. You will NEVER lay hands on them EVER AGAIN!" A green light soared across the two, with Molly's landing squarely in the other's chest, directly over her heart. Bellatrix's smile faltered, her eyes wavered, for a moment she felt as if she called for Draco and Genevieve to help her, but nothing was heard. The deranged woman fell down with a thud as many cheered happily for Molly's victory.

Without anyone knowing, Genevieve had taken Draco away from the scene while everyone celebrated the death of the woman who was closest to the Dark Lord. Draco could barely stand, much less walk and it was as clear as day that the boy could no longer walk normally. Genevieve and Draco met up with Lucius and Narcissa at the back of the school where the fighting had ceased.

"Take him." she commanded, letting go of the male's hand. Narcissa eagerly took her little boy and yanked at his arm. Draco pushed his parents away, clawing at Genevieve as his parents tried to drag him away.

"NO! I'm begging you!" he screamed, his remaining two fingers hooked onto the hem of her torn cloak. "GENEVIEVE! PLEASE! Leave with me! Come with me!"

"Draco!" Lucius yelled, yanking harder. "Let her go!"

"My son! Please...Just Let Go!"

"I'm not leaving without her!" he yelled back, thrashing around despite the pain in his leg. "Genevieve. My love, please...I'm begging you. Don't go back...don't go back in there."

"Listen to me Draco. You have to stay alive. For me." Genevieve stepped closer to the male, giving him a kiss on the lips before casting a sleeping charm. Draco melted into her kiss, holding her tightly as their lips connected with each other. Slowly but surely, it was hard for him to continue standing. She watched as the boy closed his eyes and slowly fell into a deep slumber.

"Draco...I'm sorry." she whispered, taking one last look at his handsome face. "Lucius. Narcissa. Take him away. Hurry!"

"Our family owes you much. " Lucius started, lifting Draco onto his back. "I'm sorry.. I chose my family over yours...and now. I'm choosing my family once again over yours. Your father was a good man. If it wasn't for me, if I hadn't done it….maybe everything would have turned out differently."

Genevieve shook her head, smiling upwards at the sky that continued to rain down heavily. "I believe...they're finally happy."

Narcissa took the Malfoy's wedding ring off and held it out to the young Black, "For Draco's sake. Don't lose."

"I no longer have anything to lose."

A/N: Hello Everyone! We're coming down to the last chapter! So, I had two different ideas for how I wanted the ending, so I'll be posting both of them within the next couple days.
