Runt ran as fast as his legs would carry him. He ran and ran until he eventually ran into... me. I was standing next to a building waiting for Annie to finish her shopping and the Warners were inside either flirting with the cashier or bouncing around as usual.
"Hey! I know you! Your the Mime!" cried Runt.
"Runt?" I asked.
That when I looked up and saw the shadow wolf that was behind him.
"Runt, what is that?" I asked.
"I don't know! It followed me here!" cried Runt.
"Everyone! Shadows!" I cried.
The people in the store where startled but Annie and the Warners quickly got to my side.
"Hey it's Runt!" cried Wakko.
"There's a huge mean looking dog behind me! I don't know what it wants! And Rita is back there!" cried Runt.
"Rita is with you?" I asked.
"Rita... you mean your cat friend?" asked Annie.
Dot rolled her eyes. "Runt still thinks she's a dog."
"No no! She's right! Rita is a cat! She told me so this morning! We had a talk! And this... why are standing around here for!?" panicked Runt.
"You've got to be kidding me!" cried Annie.
The wolf shadow got extremely close and opened it's large mouth on us!
Yakko, Wakko and Dot quickly pulled anvils from their pockets and slammed the animal's face.
"How did you do that?" asked Pinky on my shoulder.
"We are cartoons." said Yakko.
Just then, Samurai Jack appeared out of nowhere. Or rather Professor Utonium. "Allow me." said Jack. He jumped high into the air and attacked the wolf on the head.
"Wait... where did he come from?" asked Wakko.
"Remember that filler chapter from last time? The mediocre one with the unnecessary brain twisting plot?" asked Yakko.
"I thought we scrapped that idea." said Dot.
"So did I." I replied.
Jack looked behind us. "Actually... I've come here to apologize for the last chapter and the long... whatever..." said Jack.
"This is not making sense." I said.
"We are in a cartoon world." said Annie with a smile.
Just then, three shadows appeared out of nowhere and attacked the wolf. Three short little figures stood next to Jack. Three little girls wearing dresses.
"Professor, you should stand back." said Blossom, the one in pink.
"That wolf is scary." said Bubbles, the one in blue.
"I'm going to kick it's A... I mean butt." said Buttercup, the one in green.
"Who are these guys?!" cried Dot with a huge smile.
"Oh yeah! They are the Powerpuff Girls! Their cartoon will premier on Cartoon Network very soon." said Yakko.
"How come you never told me?!" cried Dot.
"It was a surprise. We know you love kick butt girls on cartoons." said Wakko.
"Rita! I need to get to Rita!" cried Runt running back to the forest.
"Wait! It's too dangerous! Let me go with you!" cried Annie.
"If your going, I'm going." I cried out.
"Then leave the rest to us then." said Wakko giving us all a thumbs up.
The Powerpuff girls and Samurai Jack quickly went to attack the beast while Annie, me and Runt ran back to the forest.
In case you missed out on what's going on... well a few chapters ago, we met Samurai Jack who was actually playing the part of Professor Utonium. However... as we were reading and writing what was going on, my ghost writer got really crazy with ideas and started to rip off franchises with complicated plots. Don't worry. These are all just unnecessary cameos that happened in our adventures.

We ran back to the forest and Rita was standing in front of the shadow of Otto Scratchnsniff, the imposter.
"Get away from Rita Otto!" cried Annie.
Anti Otto looked at us and laughed. Rita was looking at him in disgust. "He's not Scratchnsniff. He's something else." cried Rita.
Runt began to growl. "I know. He smells like a tire that's on fire. Gosh I made a rhyme." said Runt.
"Silence. Rita and Runt. You two had only a few segments on the first season of Animaniacs. What a shame. Well... I don't know why you are still with these lunatic cartoons, but you two have a darkness that got my attention." said Anti Otto.
"What are you talking about?" asked Annie.
"Darkness? Give me a break! They are friends!" I cried.
"Friends that have fallen in love with eachother!" cried Anti Otto.
"So what?! Rita loves me for who I am! I am her best friend after all!" cried Runt.
"Runt... please leave! He'll hurt you!" cried Rita.
Just then, Pinky appeard on Anti Otto's ear and bit it. Anti Otto screamed in pain and Runt bit his leg.
"No Runt! Run!" cried Rita.
Anti Otto then grabbed poor Pinky and threw him to the ground. "Die you measly little lab rat!" cried Anti Otto as he was about to stomp on Pinky.
Annie then ran up to him and pushed Anti Otto away. When that happened, Runt ran up to Anti Otto and began to bit his face. "Back off! Back off you mutt!" cried Anti Otto as he pulled a darkness from the ground and vanished, taking Runt with him.
"Runt! Oh no! Runt!" cried Rita.
"It's too late! The imposter took him! He took him like he did Brain and the real Dr. Scratchnsniff." said Brain.
"I'm sorry Rita." said Annie holding Rita to her arms as Rita began to cry.
"Those shadows... what are they really? I know they are wendigos or whatever they are called, but there's something very wrong about them." I said, clenching my fists.
"Rita, come with us. We're looking for a crystal that the shadows want so bad. If we get it, we can save Runt." said Annie.
"You humans would do that? We just met. Except for the Mime of course." said Rita.
"Oh, I never introduced myself. I'm Zach. And how did you reconize my face?" I asked. I was not wearing makeup or anything.
"You look like him with those large eyes of yours. With or without makeup, you look the same to me." said Rita.
The Warners caught up to us.
"Talk about an epic Smash battle!" said Wakko.
"Smash?" asked Dot.
"It's that new Nintendo 64 game the kids are talking about these days." said Yakko.
Dot shook her head. "Boys."
We quickly told everyone the situation and Yakko, being the true leader of the Animaniacs nodded. "I agree! It's best we take her with us. The more the merrier. By the way... where's Slappy?" asked Yakko.
We then realized we left Slappy back in the city. We all quickly ran back and to our surprise, she was at the salon, sitting next to Minerva Mink, reading a magazine.
"What was the noise outside?" said Minerva.
"Beats me. I was just here taking a nap." said Slappy.
Everyone let out a sigh. "Well, at least we have two more people with us." said Yakko.
"Wait... .Minerva is coming with us?" asked Dot.
"C'mon, the Powerpuff girls have nothing to do with us and they made a cameo in this chapter." said Wakko.
"And don't forget... this is an Animaniacs Fan Fic." said Yakko.
"A what now?" asked Rita.
"Don't think too much of it." I said.
Minerva looked at us and let out a sigh. "I'll go with you... as long as I'm the sex symbol in the group." she said.
Annie and Rita were both annoyed by that. "What the heck did she just say?" asked Rita.
"We have competition." said Annie.
Dot chuckled. "Don't mind her. She's just full of herself." said Dot.
Minerva scoffed and Slappy got up. "Well I'm ready. Where to now?"
