Brittany laughs watching her kids run into the living room with their nieces and shakes her head. '' God I have three crazy kids, they really come after their mami.''
'' Hey!'' Santana yells out offended turning to her wife rolling her eyes as she sticks out her tongue.
Brad snickers standing up and pats his daughters shoulder. '' More like after you honey, you are the craziest well alongside with Puck.''
'' And that will never change papa P.'' Puck mutters as he stands up holding his hand out for his best friend. '' Come on birthday girls, we don't want to keep the kids waiting.''

Maribel shakes her head and smiles slightly. '' No right after she and Heather exchanged gifts, that was the other gifts can cheer them up.''

Maribel smiles hugging her daughter close and kisses her forehead. '' I love you too mija.'' She pulls back after kissing her cheek and smiles. '' Come on let's spend some family time.''
Santana nods her head following her mother out of the kitchen and sits down on the couch next to her wife, Nico smiles brightly sitting up on his knees and looks around. '' Everyone is here right?'' He walks over the table with the gifts and bites his lip. '' Who first?''

Brittany thanks him softly and turns to her sister smiling slightly. '' Same time?''
Heather nods her head slowly counting down and they both tear the wrapping paper off as soon as she reaches one, Brittany freezes as she sees the memory book with a picture of herself as a baby with their mom and turns to her sister knowing they both had the same idea and smiles sadly as she flips the pages of the memory book she gave her.
Heather chokes out a chuckle and wipes away a tear. '' Damn great minds think a like.''
Brittany nods her head in agreement flipping through the memory book in her hand and stops about midway sniffling when she sees the three of them laying on the grass looking up at the starry sky, she gulps as she reads the sentence Heather wrote under it and wipes away her tears.
Mom always told us that they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where out loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy. Now she is up there guiding us with her light to let us know that she will always be there for us, not down here but up there.
'' I remember that day, oma P just passed away and she took us outside and explained us all the constellations.''
Heather smiles at her sister casually adding the dutch word for grandma and nods her head wiping away her tears. '' She was sad but after she quoted us that and explained it in dutch she cheered up and started telling us all the beautiful things she experienced with oma.''
'' Now it's our turn to keep her memory living.'' Brittany murmurs gulping, Heather nods her head in agreement and carefully hands her gift over to her wife. She turns to her sister and pulls her in a hug.
'' And we sure will B we have so many incredible memories with mama, we can write a whole book about them and I have enough videos on I don't know how many hard disk that we can show our kids.''
Brittany nods her head sighing softly and hugs her sister. '' Yeah we sure have, thank you Heath I love it.''
'' Mh I do too never knew mom had so many pictures with only one of us but they are all amazing, love you sis.''

Brad smiles sadly watching his daughters hug and turns to Alex. '' Alex can you grab my gift for your mommy and auntie?'' He stands up as he nods his head walking over to the table and walks over to his daughter, he moves the glasses on the table to the side and sits down in front of him thanking his grandson as he hands him two small wrapped gifts.
'' B, Heath?'' He smiles as they both turn to him wiping away his tears and shakes his head. '' Don't wipe them away just yet.'' He holds out the gifts for them and bites his lip as they both sit up tearing off the wrapping paper.
Brittany chokes out a sob as she sees the necklace and the text on the card right under the pendant and covers her mouth, Brad leans forward placing his hands on their knees and locks eyes on two pairs of tear filled blue eyes.
'' The Love Knot Necklace represents an unbreakable bond between two in your case three souls, your mom might not be here personally but she will look down on you every day and she will always be in our hearts. We all miss her and days like these make it much worse but knowing the two of you carry on her spirit and give me the chance to see my wife, your mother in everything you do helps me cope.'' He squeezes their knees sniffling and wipes away his tears.
'' I still meant what I said 9 years ago when I married your mom, I see the two of you as my daughter and I don't care that I met you when the both of you were almost adults. Watching the two of you grow up, get married to the love of your lives and watch you raise my grandchildren makes me so happy. Every night before we were going to bed your mom and I talked about you and told each other how proud we are, your mom was really your number one fan and even if she isn't around here to show it you will always feel her love because she will stay near as your guardian angel.''
'' Damn.'' Santana murmurs leaning against her parents voice thick with tears, Naya hums sniffling and watches her wife and sister in law jump up with tears streaming down their faces as they hug their dad.

Heather pulls out of her dad's arms taking a shuddering breath hearing sniffles all around them and holds out the necklace. '' We love it dad, put it on us?''
Brad nods his head taking the necklaces from them and turns to Heather clasping it on, he turns to Brittany doing the same and turns them around kissing their cheeks. '' I love you girls.''
Brittany fiddles with the card of her necklace in her hand and sniffles hugging him back. '' We love you too dad.'' She pulls out of the hug turning the card in her hand and walks over to the picture of her mom they set up on the mantel of the fireplace, she tucks it into the corner of the frame and runs her finger over the picture. '' Love you mama.'' She breaths out wiping away her tears, she looks down as she feels three pairs of arms around her legs and runs her hand through their sons and daughters hairs.
She crouches down as she sees tears filling their eyes and pulls them close gulping as both boys nuzzle their face in her neck and Val slips in the middle nuzzling her face in her chest, Santana pulls out of her parents embrace as Naya crosses the room to hug her wife and daughter and walks over to her own wife and children.
She crouches down beside them rubbing her wife's back and hugs her smiling sadly as Alex immediately moves into her arms nuzzling his face in her shoulder.
'' Hey Brad, what does the card say?'' Puck asks voice thick with tears, Brittany gulps locking eyes with her dad and smiles sadly.
'' I already memorized it, it says.'' She takes a deep breath wiping away her tears and exhales shakily. '' I'm sorry that I had to leave early, but God has better plans for everyone and we should trust him. Death thinks it can take you from me forever but one thing it doesn't know that you live in my heart! How can it take you from my heart. Listen! '' Wow.'' Quinn chokes out wiping away her tears, Marley hums and sniffles.

Brittany nods her head in agreement and sighs sadly. '' Damn I knew this day would be emotional, but I didn't expect it to be so emotional.'' She stands up picking Val up in her arms as she feels her tighten her hold around her shoulders and rubs her back.

Nico shakes his head slowly pushing her towards the love seat and crawls on her lap as soon as she sits down, he pulls his mami next to them taking a hold of her hand and wraps his free arm around his sister. '' Wanna cuddle.''
Santana smiles lovingly moving over and places Alex next to her wife kissing his head as he grumbles. '' One second mijo, Tia Nay and I want to give your mommy and aunt Heath their gift.''

'' Love you too.'' Brittany murmurs softly hiding her face in San's shoulder as everyone coos, Santana chuckles softly as she feels her wife's face burn and turns to their kids calling them over knowing they want to hug them.
She grunts as the boys immediately run over jumping on top of them and laughs. '' Easy mijos.'' She picks Val up as she raises her arms and kisses her head.
'' Whoa that was so beautiful mami! I didn't know that auntie Nay could sing!'' Alex exclaims squealing, Naya laughs ruffling his hair as her daughter climbs in her lap and kisses her head.

'' Really? Uncle Puck too?!'' Nico asks shocked, Santana snickers and nods her head.
'' Yeah uncle Puck and mommy always sang together when we were in school.''
'' Why didn't we hear you sing uncle Puck?!'' Alex asks turning to his uncle, Puck shrugs his shoulders and laughs.

Puck walks over to the closet and grabs a guitar, he sits down on the piano adjusting the strap around his shoulder and looks at the kids smiling slightly. '' Boys come on, I need someone for the drums and the piano.''
