Chapter 14: I Feel Weird
A.N. – Lots of love for everyone who takes the time to write a review. I know I say this a lot but I just want to keep letting you guys know how much I appreciate it.
This chapter is a bit short so I'm sorry about that but I plan on writing a lot in the next one.

Puck sat on his bed holding his new phone. Mustardseed sent it to him so it would be easier to stay in contact. It definitely made it easier for his mother to annoy him. He was just lucky he didn't have a phone when he was by the Old Lady. His mother would've been calling non-stop. She worries too much. Maybe that's why Puck felt so tense. It felt like someone was watching him at all times.
Being back in Ferryport Landing had been wonderful. Everyone adored him, as they should. The party, the food, the Old Lady and everything else was great but now, two days since he came back, that feeling seemed to have disappeared. He and Jake had moved their stuff to this new place on Monday. Puck still slept in Grimm's room on Monday night. But he didn't think he could sleep there tonight again. It didn't make sense. Well, it made sense to him. He got a weird feeling when he was with Grimm. Like he was on edge. But not because of Grimm, she was great. But something else was triggering his sense and he didn't know what it was.
So, it made sense to stay with her. But he didn't know how to explain that to everyone else. They would tease him and the Trickster King refused to allow himself to be mocked. He didn't quite understand why he was feeling like this. He didn't want to talk to Grimm about it because he knew she would feel offended. Like if he was trying to say he had to stay with her because she couldn't defend herself. Which was kind of true. He had saved her life multiple times. Granted, she had also saved her own life multiple times.
He was torn away from his thoughts by his phone ringing. He looked down at his phone and sighed. His mom really needed to chill.

Puck hovered outside the window and debated whether he should try to open the window or not. Or maybe he should knock. Should he try to sneak into the house? He heard voices behind him and he turned around to check and see if anyone could see him flying right now. No one seemed to be aware so he turned back around but was met with two blue eyes staring at him behind the glass of the window.
The window opened, "What are you doing?"
Puck felt his cheeks warm up and hoped the girl in front of him wouldn't notice, "I just wanted to come say hi."
"At 1:00 am? You could've texted me with that fancy new phone of yours."
"I couldn't sleep."
"Then go for a walk."
"I did. I ended up here."
The voices he had heard before were getting louder but Grimm yanked him inside before he could turn around and check.
"Why did you come here? How did you know I was here?"
"Grimm, you live here."
Puck watched as nervously played with her hair, "Wow. Someone's paranoid."
He winced when she glared at him, "A lot has been going on."
"I saw you yesterday. What could've possibly happened."
Grimm opened and closed her mouth almost six times and Puck felt a little bad for her. She looked so confused, and a bit scared. He reached towards her and wrapped his arms around her waist, just to hold her for a moment. He felt as she slowly relaxed against him. He had been worried she was going to pull away and shove him back out her window.
"Parker has been acting weird," Sabrina whispered.
"Who?"
"One of my friends. He's been asking questions where I'm going and what I'm doing."
Puck nodded his head to show that he was listening but just led her to sit on the bed as she continued to explain.
"Like today, Uncle Jake dropped me and Daph to school but then used my car to drive around and do some things. But then in the middle of first period, Parker is texting me asking me why I'm not at school. I told him that I was in class but then he accused me of lying. So, I didn't reply to his texts and waited until lunch to ask him about it. And then he said he didn't see me in the morning so he thought I skipped. Which isn't something we normally do. Like we don't see each other every morning and he's never texted me like that so I don't know why he started now.
Then after school when Bella and I drove to this café to hangout and so work, Parker texted me and asked if he and Luke could join us. It wasn't that big of a deal because I figured Luke had told him where we were. But when I was driving home, I remembered neither Bella nor I had told Luke where we were going because he was at practice and we didn't want to bother him. It's probably not that big of a deal and maybe Bella had texted Luke but I feel weird."
Puck had a guess on what was going on but he needed to prove it first. An idea formed in Puck's brain, "How about you don't go to school tomorrow?"
She frowned, "And stay home?"
Puck shook his head, "No. Go with Jake and help him find a car. He's taking forever and I just want him to get one already so I can use it."
"Can't you buy yourself a car?"
"Yeah, but then it would suck if I crash it. I need to practice with Jake's first."
"Hm, I'm sure he'll love that. I'll talk to him in the morning."
"Are you going to tell your parents?"
She rolled her eyes, "Yes. I'm not going to lie to them and pretend to go to school."
"But what if they force you to go to school?"
"I don't think they will. I'm pretty good with doing my work and staying focused if I need to catch up on anything."
"I'll drop you and Jake to the dealership so the only way you can leave is once he buys a car."
She nodded her head but didn't say anything else. Puck felt as she burrowed into his chest and watched as she drifted to sleep.
Puck refrained from telling her what his whole plan was. She'd find out eventually. He just had to plan what he was going to do tomorrow.
