CAOS VS CAOS
Robotnik had prepared a whole crew of robots when the heroes arrived at his base. There was not a minute left to start an attack. Like Sonic and the others he had plotted to be the first to act.
At the entrance to the base he had prepared an imposing robot and others around it that were smaller. Robotnik was in front of them in his flying egg. When he saw Sonic, he stepped aside behind his squadron of machines and as soon as he cleared the sight, the heroes noticed that the chaos emerald, located in his head, was feeding the larger robot and that this one, judging by what it looked like, was distributing power via an antenna to other antennas that the other robots possessed. From time to time it was noticed that a ray came out of the major one to be distributed among all the minor ones.
Okey!-exclaimed Sonic, summoning up the courage-We stick to the plan! Shadow! Concentrate on the robot carrying the emerald, we on the others, go ahead!-Robotnik!-shouted Shadow in heroic rush-You know that emeralds are not a toy, someone like you can't have them! I don't know what your plan is but it ends now!-and with this last roar he expelled all the power of the chaos emerald he was holding. Everything glowed and Shadow's body absorbed the energy. Sonic gave him encouragement as he stood one foot away from fighting the other robots:-You can do it, Shadow!-Of course I can, just watch and learn! Caos blast!-he launched an attack on the robot's neck but the robot cancelled it with its arm and returned back to him, it was very fast. Then Shadow thought of attacking its arms so that it could not defend itself, since Shadow had in mind to separate the head along with the emerald from the rest of the body.
Knuckes, Tails, Amy and Sonic were trying to undermine the attacks of the robots who seemed stronger even as the fight progressed. Sonic encouraged his colleagues and did his best. In less than a couple of strokes Shadow asked everyone to step aside so he could make a powerful move. He clung to one of the robot's arms, placed his feet firmly on the machine's shoulder, and made the chaos power explode in his hands. When the smoke dissolved, the robot's arm was gone. He jumped to the other shoulder, the healthy hand of the opponent wanted to grab him but Shadow moved to his back and from there he used the Chaos Spear directly on the junction of the arm with the rest of the body. Which caused the robot to lift it up to reach Shadow and get rid of it, without considering that doing so exposed its weak point. He succeeded, his opponent had been left without arms. But Shadow needed to recover from the strong energy shocks he had caused. He continued to fight alongside Sonic against the lesser threat and helped his friends with his fighting skills.
