Adrien hissed in pain. Minutes ago he was getting ready to model and, before he knew it, there was a loud noise and an explosion, knocking him down. Slowly getting up, Adrien looked around and all he could see was dust. His eyes widened a bit.

"Marinette! Nathalie! Where are you?" He called out, but there was no answer. "Hell." He murmured and ran to find Nathalie and Marinette. He reached to open the blazer, "Plagg." He hissed, frowning as he got no answer. It took him a moment to realise Plagg was not there. He had to put on some other rings, so he took off his ring and gave it to Plagg, who was probably chilling in his cabin.

Adrien sighed, running towards his cabin. However, he stopped abruptly as something-someone landed in front of him. He frowned a bit, trying to make out the silhouette in front of him, before his eyes widened.

Ladybug... as Lady Noire.

Wait, did this mean she lost her miraculous again? And did this mean they had to switch powers... again?

"Ladybug?" He murmured, watching the woman walk to him. She looked so different with his powers; her blue hair was all black, long and braided; her blue-bell eyes were now all green, cat-like.

"Lady Noire." She corrected him, smiling. "Let me take you to a safe place." She held her hand out, looking at him. He was about to take her hand, but stopped.

"Wait, no, I need to find my girlfriend."

"W-who is your girlfriend?" She stuttered a bit, then rubbed the back of her head.

He raised an eyebrow at her stutter, how she avoided his eyes. Adrien had several instances when he suspected Marinette of being Ladybug. Part of him still thought she was Ladybug- yes, he saw them together when Ladybug gave Marinette the mouse miraculous, but then again, Ladybug was smart; Marinette was smart. It could've been an illusion.

He shook his head. He had no time to think if his girlfriend was Ladybug or not.

"Marinette."

"Ah, yeah, right. Silly me, I knew. No worries, she is safe. I took care of it. Come on, before the villain finds us!" She grabbed his hand, pulling him closer to her. He noticed her slight blush and raised his eyebrows. However, he didn't say a thing. He held onto her as she extended the stick.

"Alright, here. Stay here. Cat Noir and I - well, Misterbug - will solve everything." Lady Noire said as she made Adrien enter his cabin. Before she could close the door, she felt his hand around her wrist.

"Sorry to ask, but... did you two decide to swap miraculouses?" He saw her eyes widen a bit.

"Oh, um... no, I... it happened to me and Cat to be careless and his kwami found me and yeah..." She started talking really fast, nervous. Adrien let go of her hand, nodding.

"Okay, well... thank you for saving me and my girlfriend. Good luck." He smiled. She blushed and nodded, then left.

Adrien frowned a bit, closing the door behind him. "Is she-"

"Cat Noir?" His head snapped to the side to see the red kwami approaching him, holding the earrings.

"Tikki?" He moved closer. "How did she-"

"Does not matter. You have to help her." Tikki cut him off once more, placing the earrings in his palm. She watched him put them on, then looked at her. Yet, he said nothing. "Aren't you-"

"Is Marinette Ladybug, Tikki?" Adrien asked, seriously.

Tikki flinched a bit at the question. "I have no idea who that Marinette is; I cannot tell you a thing about her identity, Adrien."

"Why not? Isn't she the guardian? I mean, shouldn't I know to whom to go when I need help - just like Ladybug went to Master Fu?" Adrien crossed his arms over his chest.

The kwami sighed. Jesus, he was as stubborn as Plagg. "There is going to be a time when you'll find out about each other's identities. Not now... we need to help her!"

"Yeah, you're right... Tikki, spots on!"

"Oh my God..." Marinette whispered as she got up, rubbing her head. She looked around, her eyes widening. Everything was knocked over, dust making things blurry for her. She looked to her right and saw Adrien, laying down.

"Oh, no..." She went to him, "Adrien..." She whispered, but got no response. She started panicking, looking around. She had to get him out of here... but she was not strong enough as Marinette. She had to find Tikki.

Marinette turned on her heel and started running, a bit slower than usual because of her killer heels.

"Marinette!" She stopped and looked on her side, seeing a small black silhouette fly to her.

"Plagg?" She murmured and frowned as she saw him holding the ring.

"Surprise?" The kwami cringed a bit, holding the ring out for her. She grabbed it, rolling her eyes.

"Don't tell me he lost his miraculous again..."

"Well, you clearly lost the earrings, too." He scolded her, crossing his arms over his chest.

Marinette blushed, rubbing the back of her head. "I...I did not- anyway, no time to talk about it. Plagg, claws out!"

As soon as she transformed, she ran to look for Adrien. She heard some steps and turned around, noticing her boyfriend running. She smiled a bit, relieved. Thank God he was awake. She jumped and landed in front of him.

"Ladybug?" He murmured, looking over at her surprised.

She smiled a bit, "Lady Noire." Lady Noire teased him as she corrected him, then held out her hand for him. "Let me take you to a safe place." She saw Adrien move his hand to place it in hers, but then stopped.

"Wait, no, I need to find my girlfriend."

She gulped a bit, stuttering. Hell, she had to find a good excuse for him not to look for her. "W-who is your girlfriend?"

Lady Noire avoided eye contact, so she did not notice him giving her a suspicious look.

"Marinette."

"Ah, yeah, right. Silly me, I knew. No worries, she is safe. I took care of it. Come on, before the villain finds us!" Lady Noire quickly said, then reached to grab him, pulling him close to her. She blushed, holding back the urge to hug him and tell him everything was okay. If only she could tell him the truth, who she really was...

The heroine pushed Adrien not so gently into his cabin, "Alright, here. Stay here. Cat Noir and I - well, Misterbug - will solve everything." She was about to leave when she felt his hand around her wrist.

"Sorry to ask, but... did you two decide to swap miraculouses?" Her eyes widened at his question. Why was he so curious suddenly?

The girl thought a bit, "Oh, um... no, I... it happened to me and Cat to be careless and lose our miraculouses and his kwami found me and yeah..." After all, she did not lie, did she?

She saw Adrien smile a bit, but she could tell it was not a convinced one. Before he could add more, she left, her heart pounding.

"Seems like someone has been careless." Lady Noire flinched, almost dropping the stick she was protecting herself with at the sound of Misterbug's voice. She frowned, turning around.

"I hope you're kid-" Before she could finish, she was grabbed by Misterbug and pulled behind a wall to hide.

"What excuse do you have this time, M'Lady?" He smirked, teasing her. She groaned, annoyed. Really? How could he be like this when everything was a disaster?! "I see that this boy of yours made you not care so much about your-" He was cut off by the stick hitting his head. "Ouch! What was that for?!" Misterbug frowned a bit, rubbing his head.

"A way to get you to shut up." She rolled her eyes, sassily. "Don't put the blame on me. You lost your miraculous as well; maybe dating that girl is a bad idea."

"Jealous?"

"No, but this made you even more careless!" Lady Noire hissed.

Even though Hawk Moth has been pretty calm these past few months, they have met on patrols and discussed their lives and how they were both in relationships now - a bit ironic how they both got together with their lovers around the same time.

Misterbug rolled his eyes. "Whatever." He murmured, then tilted his head. "I've been thinking, shouldn't we know each other's identities by now?"

Her eyes widened. "Are you serious? That's what you're thinking about now?!"

"What's wrong? Besides, maybe it's time. You're now the miraculous holder and I should know whom to go to when I have a problem with Plagg, right?"

Lady Noire placed a hand on her hips. "You know that if I find out your identity I can easily take away your miraculous, right?"

"You wouldn't do it."

"What makes you so sure, bugaboy?" She smirked.

"Because I am the best partner, right?" He teased, smirking back. "Come on, Lady Noire! What scares you? Maybe we know each other already - we may even date each other without knowing."

Lady Noire rolled her eyes. "Really? Let's say we were dating in actual life - do you think we'd be that stupid not to realise? Anyway, this is ridiculous and unlikely. You are really, really, REALLY different from my boyfriend." She laughed, shaking her head.

"Never say never, kitty." He teased, then shrugged. "Well, my girlfriend is different from you, too. She's definitely more fun." He winked.

Before she could argue more, she saw him throwing the yo-yo to look for the villain. Lady Noire rolled her eyes.

"Miraculous Misterbug!" The heroes watched as everything went back to normal. Lady Noire ran to the girl laying down, her brown eyes wide and scared. Poor girl.

"What happened?" The girl whispered.

"You were akumatized. But no worries, all good now." Lady Noire smiled, helping the girl up.

"Next time, don't listen to an old, crazy fashion designer yelling at you." Misterbug continued, not noticing Lady Noire's half smile.

The girl giggled and nodded. "I will take her back. See you soon, Misterbug... hopefully not like this, tho." Lady Noire said, about to leave.

"Wait, what about the thing we talked about earlier...?" He trailed off, making the heroine sigh.

"We will talk about it later." She whispered, then extended the stick, disappearing with the girl.

Misterbug sighed and walked to hide. "Spots off." He whispered, transforming back. He held Tikki in his palm. "Sorry, I don't have any food."

Tikki smiled, clearly tired. "No worries, Adrien."

The model took off the earrings, then handed them to the kwami. He put the Tikki in his blazer pocket, then walked to where the fashion show was held, not far behind. All he could think about was Lady Noire and Marinette. Were they the same person? Was the girl he used to be crazy over the same girl he was crazy over now?

"Adrien!" His head snapped up, and he watched the bluenette run to him. He smiled, holding his hands open as she ran straight into his chest, hugging him.

"Where were you? Are you ok? I've been looking everywhere for you!" He caressed her back.

"No worries. It's all good. I have been looking for you, too." He said. He felt her tense, "The important thing is that everything is good now." Adrien kissed her head, but his mind was away.

He had to find out if she was Ladybug.

Lady Noire sneaked into an empty cabin. "Claws in." She sighed as she transformed back, watching Plagg fall into her palm.

"Cheese... I need Cheese..." The kwami complained, holding his stomach. Marinette giggled, taking off the ring.

"Sorry, Plagg, no cheese. I am sure Cat Noir has some." She said, then bit her lip. "What was wrong with him today? I don't remember him ever being this pushy about our identities."

Plagg shrugged, "Who knows, maybe he was just teasing. I will find him soon. Bye, Marinette." Plagg quickly disappeared, making the girl shake her head.

She gasped. Adrien. "Is he okay?" Marinette whispered, then ran out of the cabin.

The blue-haired girl smiled as she spotted him, calling out his name. He spotted her and held his arms open for her. She ran straight into his hug.

"Where were you? Are you ok? I've been looking everywhere for you!" Marinette hugged him tighter, relieved he was alright.

He slid his hand over her back. "No worries. It's all good. I have been looking for you, too." Marinette tensed a bit, hoping he would not ask more about where she was. "The important thing is that everything is good now." Marinette sighed as he kissed the top of her head. Good, he would not push things.

They kept hugging, Marinette falling into deep thoughts as well. She kept playing the conversation with Misterbug all over. The things he said... when he pointed out they could date in actual life.

She raised her head, looking over Adrien's handsome face. Adrien looked down at her and she could see he was thinking about something, too.

Could Misterbug/Cat Noir be Adrien?

A/N: Hope you liked it! Sorry it took so long to update and the chapter it's not that long. And sorry about any errors.

I am finally done with my first exam, but have more to come. So I may not update as many times as I wish.

I think I will be soon done with this story, a few more chapters and then The End.:) I am excited for the end(s)- spoiler, maybe? Haha.

By the way, I used Lady Noire because I used the French feminine form of Noir. :)
