"Tanjiro?.."

'Who...Who is he referring to?..who is Tanjiro?' I thought.

My hands gripped at the Man's Haori. He struggled, it made me oddly happy to see him struggle.

"That's not Tanjiro anymore.."

That name once more...Who is Tanjiro?

"Blood demon art: Decay..." I grabbed the tip of his blade it rusted into metal scraps, leaving only a tiny slab left at the bottom.

"Chō no mai: Tawamure, Butterfly dance: caprice!". This attack counts me off guard. I could feel the blade stabbing my back multiple times.

I stopped in my tracks...Something was flowing through my blood veins...This pain it felt..Good!

I did not move, I did not dodge. I simply just took the attack. The blade cut cleanly through my body, But it did not damage me. my body nor my clothing took any damage.

A sword impaled one of my left eyes. I hissed in pain and enjoyment. Pulling the sword out of my eye, I turned it to dust.

"Let go of him Tanjiro!" The woman screamed

"Stop...". She looked at me. " I..am not Tanjiro...So stop calling me that."

"Then who are you?!.."

I thought for a while...

"I am Ketsueki Sakenomi...But It doesn't matter because you are going to die...Blood demon art Pulse e-"

I dropped Giyu

"Shinobu-san, Tomioka-san, go.." They both looked up at me. I could feel my time waining, as I tried to hold on.

"Tanjiro?!". They ran towards me.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!". I swiped my hand creating Sharp thorns in the ground. "I'm dangerous...You have to-"

'you will not ruin this! you will give in to your anger and kill them.'

"Agghh!". I stood up my body once again in my full demon form. "isn't it pitiful... That he couldn't even control his own body and mind, He wanted to save you..He gave you a chance to run...Why didn't you?"

The man whose name was Tomioka spoke first. "because he's our friend, He's my friend. And I'll help him no matter what!"

Then the girl talked in a soft soothing voice, "Tanjiro if you can still hear me fight back". "Shut up..."."don't let him control you!"

"I SAID SHUT UP!"

Chains shot out of the ground, like octopus arms breaking the surface of the ocean.

I aimed at the girl, wishing she would shut up. But the man jumped in the way, taking the damage.

"Giyu!" She screamed. before rushing over to his body.

"Can't you see, you cannot stop me, I can manipulate his body, his mind, his emotions, with just pain"

Meanwhile walking down the same path that Giyu and Shinobu Shizukana was thinking to himself before he heard a scream.

My legs carried me on their own, I could not stop. But really, What was the point of stopping.

"I SAID SHUT UP!".

A loud voice sounded in the distance.

I unsheathed my sword by instinct and kept running.
