Tom, Shaggy, Scooby, Daphne, Velma, and Maddie reached the rooftop of the Transamerica building and stepped out. Tom set the dufflebag Sonic was in down and opened it and Sonic sprung forward coughing.

'What were you keeping in this bag?! A jar of pickled farts?!" Sonic said

"Well, we're up here on the roof What are we looking for?" Velma asked

Sonic looked around, hopped out of the dufflebag, and saw his ring bag and ran over to grab it and ran back to the others.

"This." Sonic said as he held out a ring

"So like, now what?" Shaggy asked

"Now, I just think of where I want the other end of the ring to appear and I throw it." Sonic said

Sonic was silent. It was almost as if he didn't want to leave but he knew he had to for everyone's safety.

"What is it?" Daphne asked as she kneeled down to the other worldly hedgehog.

"Not really sure you wanna go, huh?" Tom added

"I don't wanna go, but I can't stay. As long as i'm here, I put everyone in danger." Sonic responded

"Hey, listen, just know we may not physically be with you but we'll always be in your hearts. Frankly, these past two days have been two of the best days in my life, Sonic." Daphne said

"Same here." Sonic replied

Daphne and Tom stood back up and dusted themselves off.

"I never thought i'd say this but, i'm gonna miss you, you little blue devil." Tom said

"We'll miss you as well. Daphne added

"Ill miss you all too. Just one more thing, Doughnut Lord." Sonic said

Tom looked at Sonic.

"I'm sorry I was so hard on you. I know it must be tough for you to leave Green Hills, walking away from all those people who you care about, it can be rough." Sonic said

After a few moments of silence, they all said back and forth they had to go. Each for their own reasons. Sonic's was a bit obvious, Tom and Maddie had to finish up their moving to San Francisco plans, Daphne,Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby had to get The Mystery Machine repaired. Sonic turned and took a deep breath and went to throw the ring. As it got closer to opening up a portal, a drone showed up and a ring bounced off and was kept from opening a portal.

"Okay, did someone leave their find my phone on?" Sonic said

Scooby jumped into Shaggy's arms as everyone backed up and saw they were surrounded by drones. That's when they looked over and saw a white and black aircraft come by and float i front of where they were. The cockpit opened up revealing Robotnik with a pair of goggles and in a red, grey, and back flightsuit.

"Welcome to San Francisco, Mr. Wachowski. Are you enjoying the clam chowder?" Robotnik asked

Tom turned to Maddie and started saying, "It's the Government Wack-job who keeps trying to kill us." Tom turned to Robotnik and finished with, "-UNSUCCESSFULLY! Nice of you to swing by on your way to Comic-Con."

"Yeah, what are you wearing?" Maddie asked

Robotnik looked at his flightsuit and back at our heroes and said, "It's a flightsuit! Designed to modulate my body temperature and reduce drag!"

"Yeah, and yet you still are one." Tom whipped in response

"Ooh-hoo, good one, you are catching FIRE, Thomas." Robotnik responded. "Speaking of heat, I see you've taken a lover. Does she have a name or should we just call her, COLLATERAL DAMAGE?" Robotnik added

"Hey, shut your mouth, Robotnik unless you want more of what Daphne gave you a couple of days ago!" Velma shouted

"Stay silent, Velma!" Robotnik shouted in response to the glasses wearing detective

"If your wondering what Velma meant, Maddie, Daphne kicked him in the face." Tom explained

"Oh, she kicked him right in the face, it was AWESOME!" Sonic said

"The time for talking is over! It's time to push buttons!" Robotnik shouted

"Your flying eggs are pretty impressive, Mr. Eggman, but let's face it, you'll never catch me!" Sonic stated rather confidently

'Confidence...a FOOL'S substitute for intelligence." Robotnik said

Robotnik flipped up the plastic casing surrounding button in his airship that was under where he had stored Sonic's quill and Scooby's tag. A loud whirring noise was heard as the drones opened up their guns and missile launchers prepared to fire.

"That's not good." Sonic stated

"Uh, Sonic...I know you got the super speed and everything but Maddie, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, Scooby, and I..." Tom said

"Totally defenseless, probably gonna get blown up?" Sonic asked

"Pretty much, yeah." Maddie responded

Sonic turned to them and said, "Don't worry, I know EXACTLY what to do." Sonic said

Sonic ran over to the wall behind them and shoved them right off the roof and Shaggy ended up releasing his hold on Scooby during the start of their fall causing Scooby to be closer to the top than anyone else. Robotnik quickly leaned over the side of his aircraft, watched them get shoved off, sat back in his aircraft and looked at Sonic.

"I was not expecting that...but I was expecting not to expect something so it doesn't count." Robotnik said

At that exact moment after Robotnik finished saying what he was saying missiles and bullets get launched at Sonic but for him, everything goes slow. Even Scooby this time around. Sonic looked at the missiles and bullets around him while he had managed to have them in slow-motion. He then took a quick look at the Fit-Bit he got back at The Malt Shop and saw the number it had on it as he tapped his foot.

"Look at this, I took 9,000,000 steps today." Sonic said

Sonic brushed some bullets and a few missiles to the side, grabbed a couple of missiles and smacked bullets out of the air as if he was playing a drum set. He jumped up onto a coupe of drones and hit them with the missiles triggering an explosion that was in slow mo as he destroyed the rest of the drones with missiles and grabbed a couple and slid under a drone and slammed the two missiles into that drone. He then started going down the side of the building and turned a couple of drones in a way to where they would shoot at each other when he got out of slow mo mode. However, somehow, Robotnik's finger reached a button in his aircraft and his aircraft staticed with blue electricity and rose into the air and turned to Sonic.

"Pew pew pew pew, pew pew pew." Sonic said pretending to shoot finger guns

The moment Sonic saw Robotnik's ship, he saw it charging up a blast of energy and gasped just as the ship shot at him causing an explosion on the part of the building temporarily knocking him out. Once he woke up, everything was out of slow mo and he looked at Tom, Maddie, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby who were screaming for their lives as they fell. Sonic saw a ring and reached for it.

"Come on, come on come on come on!" Sonic said as he reached for the ring.

The part of the group that was falling from Sonic shoving them off was still screaming. Eventually, Sonic decided to just take off one of his quills, stick it through the middle of the ring, grab the ring and resume running on the building He tossed the ring opening a portal to a stack of mattresses somewhere along the outskirts of Green Hills. However, much to Scooby's dismay, it closed before he could fall through it and him and Sonic fell to the ground as the rest of the rings fell to the ground and the dead drones fell to the ground as well.

ON THE MATTRESSES IN THE OUTSKIRTS OF GREEN HILLS

On the mattresses they landed on, Velma realized her glasses fell off her face and felt around for them. Lucky for her though, it didn't take long to find them and she put them back on.

"Ugh...at least he like, chose somewhere with a soft landing." Shaggy said

BACK IN SAN FRANCISCO

Back in San Francisco, Sonic and Scooby woke up and looked around. They looked and saw Robotnik in his aircraft as it levitated behind them and the two fully turned to him.

"Can I give you one genius piece of advice? Don't run. It'll only hurt more if you do. And it's bad for your joints, they proved it." Robotnik said

Scooby didn't stay behind and immediately took off running. Faster than he usually would even if he was running from a monster.

"Alright Eggman, you wanna get fast? Let's get fast." Sonic responded as he rushed around picking up the rings and putting them in the bag and rushed off the same direction Scooby did

"The hard way it is." Robotnik added as he put his goggles back on and the cockpit closed and the aircraft chased after the two speedster runners

Sonic and Scooby had to go fast if they were gonna lose Robotnik. During their chase, they ended up taking a hard left turn just barely dodging explosions.

"That was an illegal left by the way." Robotnik said as he remained chasing the two

This speed Scooby was going at was the faster Scooby has ever gone before. It was the same speed as Sonic.

"Rikes!" Scooby screamed as he just barely dodged a shot from Robotnik

"Quick, Scooby, slide under that truck!" Sonic yelled

The two then slid under said truck as an explosion followed them. They took another hard left and Robotnik was following them in his airship. As they went past a truck that exploded behind them, we see the two heroes and everything around them freeze.

So, here we are again. We've been through so much together. Now you understand why there's a psychotic robot doctor CHASING a Super Sonic blue hedgehog and a talking great dane. Wanna know how it ends? Yeah, me too.

Sonic reachedintohis ring bag and pulled out a ring.

"How is this possible? No human made machine's ever caught up to me before." Sonic said as he got ready to throw the ring

IN PARIS, FRANCE

All the way in Paris,France, a mime was performing a little miming show fora woman and her daughter, sometime into the act, Sonic's ring portal opened up behind him in a way as if the mime did it by magic.

"Coming through!" Sonic shouted as him and Scooby ran by at high speeds

He looked into the ring and saw Robotnik's ship coming.

"Sacrebleu!" The mime shouted ducking out of the way just as Robotnik's ship flew over him

"Excusez-moi, monsieur" Robotnik said to the mime before re-focusing his attention on Scooby and Sonic

ON THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA

All the way in China, on the famous Great Wall, some birds were sitting peacefully. One of Sonic's ring portals opened up and Sonic and Scooby ran past the birds sending them flying out of instinct. Robotnik's aircraft wasn't far behind Sonic and Scooby. Scooby reached into the ring bag with his tail and pulled out one ring.

"Here we go, room to open it up!" Sonic said just before Scooby opened a ring portal to Egypt by a couple of pyramids.

Sonic and Scooby ran through the portal and came to a stop even through Scooby landed with his face in the sand as Robotnik flew right over them. Scooby pulled his head out of the sand giving Sonic an idea.

"If you can't beat 'em, blind 'em." Sonic said

Sonic ran over to the sand under Robotnik's ship as he gave Scooby a ring that Scooby held in his mouth as Scooby ran up a pyramid and Sonic ran in circles below Robotnik's ship kicking up a sand tornado blinding him.

"Lost. Visual. Contact." Robotnik said as he saw Sonic and Scooby running up the side of he pyramid. "You're not alone out there, IT'S ONE OF THE 7 WONDERS!" Robotnik added as he had his ship follow them and charge up a tracking shot aimed at Sonic

Scooby spit out the ring managing to open a portal to a part of Green Hills. However, the tracking shot landed right behind the two sending them flying through the portal and landing on the ground unconsious in Green Hills and the ring bag flying over to the sidewalk nearby.

Tom, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma, and Maddie ran over and saw Sonic and Scooby hit the ground. As Robotnik's aircraft came through the ring, his laughter could be heard. After the aircraft came fully through the ring, the ring closed and the cockpit opened up.

"You are a couple of ASTONISHING little creatures." Robotnik said as Tom looked down and grabbed the ring bag

"It'll be fun to take you two back t the lab for a series of exploratory procedures. Any last words?" Robotnik added

"Guac...I like that word..." Scooby managed to say perfectly clear before going unconscious again

"I can't begin to tell me how many breakthroughs have been made by animal testers. You're being rather selfish." Robotnik said not noticing Tom come through a ring portal behind him

Rom went across the surface of the aircraft to get to Robotnik. Once he did, he tapped Robotnik's shoulder making Robotnik turn to him.

"Going my way?"Tom said

"What the-?!" Robotnik started but was cut off by Tom decking him in the face
