*This ones a little longer :D*
I didn't know how long the legilimency would take but I hoped I would be able to handle it. I closed my eyes and waited for the memories to come. Every time they would change, I felt everything happen again. When we got to the last memory I tried to wake up but couldn't. I felt like something was forcing me to relive the moment. I could hear someone calling my name and shaking me. I tried to focus on the voice and when I finally opened my eyes I was met with a blurry view of Draco. I felt him hold me against his chest like he had done in the hospital.
I started to cry harder into his shirt. I don't know how long I cried but the entire time all he did was hold me and stroke my hair. When I finally calmed down, I looked up at him and was met with a pained expression. He looked as if he had been crying too. "Are you okay?" he asked hoarsely. I nodded. "Are you?" I asked gently. He sighed and rubbed his face. "I guess. Living that…was awful. I can't believe he did all that to you. I knew it was a miracle you were alive but bloody hell. That guy is sick." I heard someone clear their throat and so I moved away from Draco. I saw Harry was in the room and blushed.
"H-Harry! Hi there! Didn't know you were in here." I stuttered lamely. Harry looked at me quizzically. "Yes well, I was coming to check on the progress and heard crying coming from the both of you so I ran in here. I had to pull Malfoy out of your head so he could wake you up. Are you okay?" he questioned. I nodded and looked at Draco. He looked like he was going to be sick. He opened his mouth to say something but before he could talk he reached for the trash can. I pushed it towards him and as soon as he had it he emptied his stomach. "Again Malfoy? Do I need to take you to the infirmary? Why is it affecting you this badly?" asked Harry. When he was done he looked at Harry once again, "I don't know why I'm this affected, all I know is that, what he did was fucking despicable and disgusting. Now bring me the bottle to document the memories before I throw up again." Harry handed him some bottles and we both watched as Draco pointed his wand to his temple and started pulling the threads from his head. When he was done he labeled them and handed them to Harry. He finally turned to me, "are you ready to go? You must be exhausted and hungry." I nodded silently. "Very well. Let me go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and we'll stop for something to eat. Then we'll go to the beach home okay? I'm going to leave you here with Harry. I'll be back super fast. He walked out of the room, leaving us in the office.
"Hermione? Are you really okay? I know having legilimency performed on you isn't easy. I just wanted to make sure it didn't affect you too much." I looked at Harry, really looked at him. He looked so tired and worried. Maybe this case was too much for him. "I'm okay Harry. I promise. If you should be worried about anyone, it should be Draco. He looks sick." Harry sighed, not satisfied with my answer. "You two seem to be getting close. It looks like he knows how to comfort you and understands you. Is there something going on that I should know about? Every time I walk in, your face is always in his chest and he's holding you while you cry." he asked accusingly. I rolled my eyes at him. "There's nothing going on. He just gets me because we have to spend every waking moment together. We might as well get to know each other and become good friends. Now stop being jealous, you know you'll always be my number 1 guy friend." He smiled while nodding. I smiled back right as Draco walked in. He looked between us and narrowed his eyes before walking to the sofa and holding out his hand. I took it and he helped me into the wheel chair. We said our goodbyes to Harry and made out way out of the office.
"Where do you want to eat Granger?" he asked me. I tried to think of something and shrugged. "I don't know. The only place I can think of is my favorite coffee bar but they don't sell actual food, just snacks." Draco looked down at me and huffed. "Guess I'm picking then." he said teasingly. Suddenly I felt the pressure of apparating and we were somewhere else. When we arrived I saw what looked like a nice and simple diner. The closer we got the more delicious the food smelled. He walked us to a table and when the waitress came up to us she started to heavily flirt. He ignored her advances and gave her our order. I watched as she walked away defeated.
"You know… I think she likes you. You should give her your number. She's pretty and has a nice body." I told him dryly. He looked at the waitress as she walked away and laughed. "No thank you. I'm not interested, plus if I go out with her I won't be able to be your back up." I laughed at our inside joke. "Do you feel better now?" I asked him worriedly. He nodded. "Are you sure you're okay? I don't want you to get sick because of the stuff in my head. It's not fair considering you're already doing so much for me and I just feel so bad. You got sick twice because of me!" I was looking down at the table when I felt his hand on mine. "Granger I promise I'm fine, I promise you I am. It helps that I removed the memories from my head. Now let's just enjoy our meal so we can finally go to the beach home. It's already 7pm so when we get there it's straight to bed. Tomorrow after breakfast I'll give you a tour and we can go sit on the beach, okay?" he told me comfortingly.
By the time our food got to our table, we ate and arrived to the beach home, it was almost 9. He left some clothes for me on the bed and helped me sit down so I could change. "If you need anything I'm in the room next door or just call for one of the elves. Their names are Honey and Rufus. They're both really nice but Honey is sweetest and most gentle. You'll like her. Now, I'll let you get settled. Good night." "Good night Draco." I answered as he walked out. I changed as best as I could with one hand and buried myself under the covers. I yawned and closed my eyes hoping I wouldn't have any nightmares.
