"Planted. Let's get the fuck out of here." Beck said.
Annabeth nodded, and the two slowly crept out of the Princess Andromeda. The pair encountered the manticore, Dr. Thorn, talking to Luke. It took Annabeth's utmost willpower not to see her former best friend, and father figure.
Beck and Annabeth approached the end of the boat, and gestured for the hippocampi to come out of hiding. They mounted their respective hippocampi, and rode of to the distance.
After a safe amount from the Princess Andromeda, Beck pulled out a remote control. The two demigods risked looking at the boat, as Beck pressed the detonation button, and the Princess Andromeda exploded into a million pieces. The main base of operations of Kronos' forces was no more.
The two demigods cheered, though not so loudly, as they couldn't risk forces of Kronos hearing them. They rode the hippocampus back to Long Island.
-CHAPTER 13-
Chiron, Perseus, Theseus, Annabeth, and Beckendorf were seated in the Big House, discussing the final battle that was surely coming to pass. Kronos had taken the demigod son of Hermes, Luke Castellan, as his mortal host, and were most likely going to march towards Olympus with his army. The gods weren't that afraid of him, after all, they had Perseus, who was quite the fighter. Plus, the major base of operations, the Princess Andromeda, was destroyed a few days ago. They didn't have much to fear.
But, a few days after the Princess Andromeda was destroyed, the gods sensed ancient powers coming off in waves from Mount. St. Helens. Hestia had sent Hermes to inspect who, or what it was, and he'd came back with eyes as wide as dinner plates, and face so white, you could compare him to Hades.
He informed the Olympians that Typhon was rising, and they'd quickly devised a plan. Perseus would help the demigods at Camp Half-Blood defend Olympus, as with Hestia. Poseidon had to deal with Oceanus' forces in Atlantis, which left ten Olympians fighting Typhon. Hades, Demeter, Hera, Apollo, Artemis, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, and Hermes. Ares and Athena were called back from their suspension from the council, and Hestia decided to pardon their respective punishments if they agreed to help fight Typhon. Ares and Athena agreed almost instantly, not wanting to spend another second in a mortal body.
"WHAT? Perseus, you must help the Olympians defeat Typhon! The campers as well as the hunters should be enough to defeat Kronos. Not to mention my Party Pony brethren, it should suffice to hold off Kronos." Chiron said.
"No, Chrion. They have one of the Big Three, or well, the Big Two. Artemis is also very skilled in battle. I do not doubt the Olympian's in defeating Typhon. Ares and Athena will also fight, for Hestia will pardon their punishments after the Titan War. Now, I am worried about the demigods. They cannot possibly stand against Kronos' forces without at least one immortal on their side. Think about it. A merry band of three, possibly more, titans, including good old Kronie himself, will fight against a force of a hundred and fifty mortal demigods, some are as young as thirteen years. It sounds absolutely stupid!" Percy said.
Annabeth nodded, "It is, Chiron, it really is. We'll stand no chance against multiple immortals, without at least one immortal on our side. Lady Hestia won't fight, she'll only give us hope. The only option is Percy."
"And what'd you say, Perce? Three titans? I thought there was only gonna be Kronos!" Theo asked.
Perseus turned to him, "You wouldn't expect the titan lord to fight a war all by himself, would you? I'd bet a million drachmas that Hyperion's joined him, Prometheus too, not to mention Mnemosyne could possibly join him. He might've forced somebody else to take the sky, and order Atlas to fight. And all of that's excluding his other brothers." He looked at Chiron, who both thought 'The Romans'. "Krios, Koios, and Iapetus could, uh, also possibly aid him."
"So, I take out Kronos, and you take every immortal besides him?" Theo asked.
Percy nodded, "Yes. That's correct, Theo."
"Wait a sec, Percy. What did we actually do to Kronos' forces when we blew up the Princess Andromeda?" Beck asked, his first time speaking in the meeting.
"You destroyed a huge portion of the monster army that Kronos commands, and also delayed the final battle, but you did not defeat any immortals in the boat. I hardly believe you could stuff three or so titans in the Princess Andromeda." He laughed half-heartedly.
Beckendorf's mouth formed an 'O', as the door of the Big House opened, and Artemis, the goddess of the moon, hunt, and childbirth stepped in.
"Lady Artemis." Chiron bowed. "Please, take a seat."
She looked at Percy, "Discussing plans without me, Percy? I'm hurt." She pouted for a split second, before she faced him seriously. "The demigods shall have the support of the hunters, which should listen to Percy." She informed the four.
Percy turned to his girlfriend, "I didn't want to interrupt you if you were on a hunt, Arty." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "Sorry. Hehe."
Artemis rolled her eyes, "Whatever, Percy. Apology accepted. Now." She turned to Chiron, Theo, Annabeth, and Beck. "What are your plans? I trust Percy's already informed you about the situation that the son of my uncle had made." She eyed Theo with narrow eyes.
"Arty. Come on, it wasn't Theo's fault." Percy said, before turning to Theseus. "He just happens to be quite so powerful that he blew up a volcano in the process of doing a side-quest for Hephaestus." He grinned.
"Fine." Artemis sighed. "I suppose turning you into a jackalope won't reverse the past."
"No it won't, Lady Artemis." Chiron agreed.
"Now." Percy interjected, "I believe our discussion is over, unless you want to ask anything, Chiron, Theo, Annabeth, Charles?"
All of them shook their heads, "Alright. I'll be making my leave now, with Artemis, if you don't mind, Chiron?"
"Of course, Lady Artemis." He bowed. "It was a pleasure."
Artemis nodded, before Percy waved and the two disappeared in a flash of white, only to reappear upstairs, in their shared bedroom.
_
Percy took off his jacket, before sitting under the covers, and gesturing Artemis do the same beside him."
Artemis sat down beside him, and got under the covers. She leaned her body against his, cuddling together. They would spend the last few days of peace enjoying themselves, while staying on the alert for any titan activity.
"So. Percy. Explain." She looked at her boyfriend.
"There's nothing much to explain, actually, basically the demigods and hunters would defend Olympus. Theo's gonna taka Kronos, while I deal with any other immortal that fights. I'd expect Hyperion to be there, Krios and Koios would probably be stationed to defend Mount Orthys, because of the Romans." Perseus turned to his Roma aspect, Tempus, sometimes known as Heros Tempus, or Time Hero, as he was the god of heroes. Artemis shifted to Diana.
"Yes. I expect the two praetors, the Grace boy and that daughter of Bellona would do good in that battle." Diana said.
Tempus nodded, "They will do well. I have faith in them. Now, back to Manhattan." He said as he shifted back to Perseus.
"As I said, I'll be handling all of the immortals except Kronos." Percy said.
Artemis looked shocked, "Percy, if there's multiple immortals, I don't think even you could take them all."
"Don't worry, Arty. Prometheus won't fight, there's a chance Mnemosyne won't join Kronos, and all Hyperion can do is turn into an immortal, arrogant, over-sized light bulb."
Artemis stifled a laugh at the thought of Hyperion being a light bulb. "Well, don't die dumbass."
"It seems you've forgotten that we immortals can't die, Arty." He smirked. "That's the whole point of being called immortal, isn't it? Immortal, non-mortal, non-dying." He sassed.
"Don't you fucking dare sass me, Perseus!" Artemis pretended to get angry, but was soon silenced by Percy tickling the moon goddess.
"AHAHAHAHHA – Percyyyyy! Stop – AHAHAHAHHHAHA!" Artemis managed between laughs.
After a few minutes of tickle-torture for Artemis, Percy gave in, and stopped tickling her.
Artemis pouted, and glared at Percy. "That wasn't funny, Percy."
"Aw, come on. It was a little funny?" he tried.
"No. Not at all. No kisses for a week." Artemis said, still glaring at Percy, though starting to smile a bit at his immatureness.
"Aw, man! Gods damnit!" he said as he plopped down beside Artemis.
Artemis turned on the TV, as Percy hugged her.
They would enjoy the few days that they had, before the titan war, the calm before the storm.
