Bellweathers and Pacers
Pacemates cheerleader 1: Oh he is so cute!
Pacemates cheerleader 2: I know, who would leave such a cutie out there in this cold weather.
The autumn leaves were falling outside as the bus took the dancers to the Pacers arena. They were sitting around this one seat on the bus, looking at the being wrapped around the coat the bus driver had use to warm him up.
Pacemates Leader: Think we should tell the others about him, they might be able to help him.
They all agreed as the bus stopped at the arena. The driver heading in to get the team.
Boomer was checking the front when the driver walked in.
Boomer: Hey there? How was the trip.
Driver: A bit eventful...you won't believe what they found.
The driver took Boomer outside to the bus, Boomer climbing in. The dancers were around the seat.
Boomer: What's up girls?
Boomer walked over, and his mouth dropped. The being looked like a miniature version of him...if he was a Rusherz. His one hand was wrapped, a bruised look as shown a bit. He looked tired, uncertain of where he was.
Boomer:-Where did you find him?
Pacemates Leader: Near the alley, he was hurt so we took him in. The driver used his coat to keep him warm. He doesn't seem to know what happened.
The Rusher slowly looked at him, a bit curious. His eyes were a light yellow despite him being tired. Boomer gently lifted him up, rubbing his head as he purred.
Boomer: What they hey did you go through buddy?
The Rusher just purred in his arms as Boomer took him inside. He was happy that the arena's heater was on, as it started to warm up the Rusher a bit more. He curled up in his arms a bit more.
Rusher:...This feels nice.
Boomer smiled at that as he took him to the locker rooms.
Bit later...
Boomer was checking the Rusher's bruised hand, looking over it.
Boomer: Well, it looks like that it's just sprained, but I would suggest you not putting to much pressure on it for a while.
The Rusher nodded as Boomer went to a locker and got out the first aid.
Bellweather:...Bellweather.
Boomer: *Turns to him* Hum?
Bellweather: That's my name, Bellweather.
Boomer walked back over with the kit, a small smile on his face.
Boomer: Nice to meet you Bellweathers. My name is Boomer, the Pacer's mascot.
Bellweather smiled warmly. Boomer could see how the Rusher looked. His navy blue fur was a bit lighter than his, his muzzle a cool grey like a cloudy day. The bruise on his hand was a stark contrast to the colors. He was wearing the Pacer's uniform, the heaters were on as it warmed the room.
Boomer:-What happened?
Bellweather eyes lowered a bit.
Bellweather: I tripped and fell wrong. Landed on my hand and it got pretty busted up. I sat in the alley a bit dazed till the bus stopped and those nice people brought me in.
Bellweather turned it injured hand gently, observing the injury.
Bellweather: I must admit, i was not expecting any of this to happen on the way finding this plac-
The doors open and Motor came running in, tears of relief in his eyes as he ran over and hugged Bellweathers. Hooper came in after him.
Hooper: We came as soon as we could.
Bellweather looked confused at how Motor knew what had happened, then turn to Boomer.
Boomer: I called the others to tell them what happened
Bellweather was speechless, then looked at Motor...he had not seen him since that day. Bellweathers eyes filled with tears and hugged his friend back.
Bellweather: You have no idea how happy i am to see you okay.
Motor: M-Me too.
After a few minuted they broke the hug and looked at the two Rusherz.
Bellweather: So, how about giving us a tour...since I'm going to be here and helping.
Boomer smile grew. This was going to be fun.
Info-
Bellwether: The Indiana Pacers Rusher. He is a light navy blue cat with a cool grey muzzle and light yellow eyes. He wears the Pacer's uniform along with grey wrist bands and a sweat band on his head. Bellweather is consider the 'cool cat' of the Fast Break zone, but his heart of gold and soul of silver shows through and through. He really cares about his friends, and it would not be a great idea to anger or he will POWER DUNK them hard.
