Chapter 14th
19 hours later Lee, France and Robert finally arrived back into the states. With an escort for them to head back to IFF for a briefing. Lee was allowed to see Amanda until after the briefing was over.
Though Amanda was informed of this fact with having to be going home finally from the hospital and with their son Nathan. Her mother Dottie had arrived into the hospital to bring them home and settled. She had the house cleaned and stocked up with food once her husband comes home from the briefing.
Amanda was waiting for the final paperwork from her doctor and the admissions office. She was sitting in a wheelchair in her room waiting it out while the baby was in the nursery for now. "Are you alright Amanda?" Dottie had to asked with the importance of the question.
"Just anxious mother. However I am just glad to hear that Lee is home as with Francine and her husband Robert." she said...
"I must say that those two really had a whirlwind romance. Even though I am saddened that she had lost the child. Maybe they will be able to have another sometime soon?" she responded with sadness in her voice.
"Me to mother. Though Lee wants us to have another after having Nathan. I don't know if it's going to be possible with our ages?' she replied with shaking her head...
It was at this time her doctor came in to give her the good news that she was able to leave with her son being released from the nursery to head on home.

Sister Mary Lou Andrews was happy to be on solid ground again after 18 plus hours in flight to arrive into the states. She was told that certain officials for IFF wished to speak with her for a briefing to thanked her for saving Lee Stetson's life and the file. She was going to be decorated with a special medal award for her bravery.
She is going to get a chance to see Lee at the briefing and others. As she was being escorted to IFF in a black SUV with her marine escorts. Afterwards she will be flown to Arizona to be taken there by the Witness Protection Program and finding her a place to pray in church. Her flight leaves directly once she is greeted the medal and speaks with Lee...
Since the briefing was going on for almost two hours with Lee giving his final report along with Francine and Robert a special deal to stay with IFF in a state of their choice or even overseas. Meanwhile Sister Mary Lou Andrews was greeted by everyone and including Lee using a cane currently for his leg looking really well. She had given him her blessing and receiving the medal given by the Vice President of the United States...
She had tears in her eyes with the vice president thrilled with her blessings as he had to leave to head back to the White House for other award ceremonies. But after saying goodbye to everyone. She left with the Witness Protection agents to take her once again to the airport and to be flown to the Tombstone safe house in Arizona.

Lee was anxious to get home to his wife and son. Being told that the doctor had released the both of them earlier. Billy loaned Lee a vehicle for now in order to get home to his family.
Francine was so happy for him as with Amanda. As she said something into his ear..."Though I lost one child months ago, I am again with child and I haven't had the time to say a word to Robert."
Lee's expression was one of happiness...As he walked out with the keys in his hands having to be out front of IFF ready to go...
