Belos was in Luz's room, the closest thing he can get to her. He looked at the self-portrait that hung on the wall. He doesn't want to think about it, but he can't help but think about how this could be the only way he'll ever see her again. He wants the portal to be fixed, but at the same time... he's afraid that the only thing they recover from the other side is her corpse. He walked to her dresser and looked at the multiple pictures she had. He grabbed one that brings back good memories. Back when his niece stayed over for the summer. He starts to wonder how she's been doing. He wonders if she's been doing better at magic. Memories started to flood in.

Emperor Belos was a powerful and feared man. Very few things could change that.

"Daddy!"

"Uncle!"

Here come the few things. His Daughter and Niece. The seven year olds always had a way to put a smile on his face.

"Luz, Emelina. What can I do for two of my favorite girls?"

He truly enjoyed spending time with his Niece, next to Luz and Camila, she held a special place in his heart.

"We were wondering if you can teach us a spell." Luz said.

"Well, I suppose it couldn't hurt. You need more practice, Luz, and your new Bile Sac could use help from a master, Emelina. So, what Coven would you like to learn from?"

"Beast Keeping!" They both said.

He chuckled at the energetic response. He stood up from his throne and made a spell circle.

"Now, this is a fairly simple spell. You can call on an animal, one from the Isles or on Earth, and they will listen to your command. Now, it will be a while before you can call on a big creature, so let's start small."

The two each made a spell circle and nothing happened.

"Now, as I said, it may take a while. Luz, you're half human and Emelina, you're the first human to have your heart replaced with a witch's heart, so it can be a little difficult for you two to perform magic. As the Healer's say, the older you get the easier magic will be."

"Uncle?"

"Yes, Emelina?"

"I know there are separate Coven's and witches are only able to pick one, but if I decide to live on the Boiling Isles will I be allowed to study multiple forms of magic?"

Belos lightly patted her head.

"Emelina, you're my Niece. If you ever decide to live here you will be treated like royalty. I will allow you to study as many tracks as you want." Belos said, "Now go play, I have some work to do."

"Okay, Daddy! Come on Emmy, I want to introduce you to my friends!" Luz said.

"Make sure to put the Illusion spell up! We don't want witches to know there's a human on the Isles!" He called.

Belos put the picture down. He realized that if Luz... passed, then he and Camila would have to have another child or... Emelina would become the princess. Sure, he didn't want to think about something like this, but if the worst came to pass then he would need an heir and she is technically next in line after Luz. Emelina would need to become the Emperor or else, Nathaniel would. He walked out of the room and closed the door. He quickly wiped the tears from his eyes. In the Human Realm, Emelina was showing Luz a game where you mine and craft things (Wonder what it could be?). They were currently fighting a witch

"Wow, this is how our kind are represented?" Luz asked, faking offense.

"Truly a shame." Emily said, "Watch out, there's a creeper on your right."

"On it."

"So, how have the Isles been? I haven't been there for a while."

"They've been... good." Luz said.

Emelina paused the game and put the controller down.

"Okay, what aren't you telling me?"

"My... my friends know I'm half human... and that I'm the Princess."

"Oh, uh well, that's... that's difficult to deal with I bet."

"You aren't really good at helping me."

"Sorry, Luz, it's not like I know what it's like to have a big secret revealed."

"Yeah, I guess. So, want to go back to the game, Lady Noceda?"

"It would be a pleasure, Princess Luz."

They went back to their game when there was a knock on the door. Emily went to answer it and saw Heather.

"Heather? What's wrong?"

"Aaron! He broke into Tracey's house and kidnapped her!"

"What?!"

Luz got up and walked to her room. She heard all she needed to. She walked over to Violet and nudged her.

"Violet get up and get on the staff. It's time to bust some heads."

Suddenly, Luz heard glass shatter. She ran out of her room and saw a broken window and Heather and Emily were missing. She got worried, but it didn't last long when she had a cloth put over her mouth. She felt her eyes get heavy and soon she was out cold. Masked men dragged Luz outside and tossed her in the back of a van with Heather and Emily.

"Is there nothing that Chloroform can't fix?" One man asked, "Let's go before these whores wake up."
