Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*

Chapter 17

The training for everyone started, no one letting any moment slip by for them not to train. Katsuki did his usual routine of running in the morning, training with his explosions during the session at school.

Eijiro tried to develop his endurance with his Quirk, jumping off buildings and crashing into the ground while hardening. He made sure to develop his hardening to the point where he felt satisfied and confident.

Izuku trained his body, trying his best to strengthen himself by using his own program made from the one that Toshinori made for him. He couldn't let those down who were watching him and he needed to strengthen himself to ensure the chances of better control.

Mizuki, on the other hand, had herself busy with slowly getting in routine with her recovering body. She could use her Quirk once again, but didn't push it past making small explosions. One wrong step and she was another step behind the rest.

Unfortunately for her, the nausea didn't go away. She still had periods where she was disorientated and couldn't do anything. She had to try and keep herself patient, knowing the side effects would only be temporary.

Though, she was going out of her mind. She wanted to start training with her brother. Even her designing wasn't enough to keep her mind off the festival. She felt restless, the losing battle against the Nomu still in the back of her head.

She already had a lecturing session from her two friends about pushing herself too far. It was soon followed by their excitement. They were coming to the sports festival to support her and Mizuki could feel her own excitement rush through her system.

"Mom, I'm heading out!" Mizuki called as she changed into her running shoes by the door. All the sitting around was too much for her. She needed fresh air. She needed her school work to stay behind as she sought freedom.

"Mizuki, be careful! Remember what the doctor said about pushing yourself!" Mitsuki's voice came from the kitchen, the ash blonde older female stepping out to see her daughter tap her shoes on the floor.

"I'm just heading out for a bit of fresh air, don't worry. I'll be back in time for dinner," Mizuki said and gave her mother a reassuring smile. "Love you!" Mizuki waved off and ran out of the door without further hesitation.

Mitsuki stared at the empty spot where her daughter ran off and let out a sigh. She was worried about her daughter. She always made informed decisions but lately she started to become more reckless.

"She's restless, isn't she?" Masaru spoke up as he came to his wife's side, her concerned expression making his eyes soften. He put his arms around her and pulled her closer to him, his head resting on her shoulder.

"She's going to be alright, Mitsuki. She hasn't let anything ever get her down. She's her mother's daughter," he soothed her and gave her a peck on her cheek. Mitsuki relaxed against her husband's calming hold.

"I know… I can't help but worry. Maybe it was a bad decision to have her go to U.A. It would've been better if she went to that designing school. Katsuki's a boy, strong willed and a hard ass, but Mizuki…she's my little girl. I don't want to see her hurt," Mitsuki sadly murmured.

Masaru's embrace tightened. "Don't let her hear you say that." He chuckled, his eyes swimming with various emotions. "Mizuki will follow her own dreams whether we try to stop her or not. Besides, I have faith that Katsuki will keep an eye out for his sister," he said and Mitsuki gave him a faint smile.

"You're right… What did I do to deserve a calming and reliable man like you?" Mituki asked as she glanced up at the male with a smirk plastered on her face. He chuckled at her statement and gave her a loving glance.

"You were the one who asked me. I should be the one to ask, how did I get such a loving and feisty wife," Masaru said and grunted when he received an elbow in his stomach. She gave him a playful look and kissed him on his cheek.

"Who knows?"

Mizuki held her breathing under control as she kept a steady pace running on her usual route. She could feel the wind brushing against her body, her eyes briefly closing at the feeling that wash over her. To think this is what she missed.

She could feel the secretion of her sweat glands increase slightly, her body temperature warming as she continued to jog. She hadn't had this much freedom and clear thoughts in a long time and she yearned for it.

She slowed her pace when she felt her nausea returned and let out a growl. She breathed heavy as she came to a stop, the haunting thoughts of throwing up making her want to curse loudly. It was the worst side effect ever.

She inhaled deeply, regaining her senses and calming her heart rate. Patient. She needed to be patient. She felt her temper flare at the thought of waiting any longer and bit her bottom lip in frustration.

"Argh! Screw this!" Mizuki yelled into the sky and accidently let her body explode as a result. She winced at the brief disorientation and kept her eyes closed and her face towards the sky. She could feel the nausea subsiding, the frustration growing.

"Mi-chan?" Mizuki's eyes shot open and towards a green haired male, big green eyes looking at her in a mixture of surprise and worry. "Are you alright? What are you doing here?" Izuku asked as he jogged in next to her.

"Izu-kun…" She glanced to her side and noticed that she had ran all the way to Dagoba Municipal Beach Park. The same beach that he had cleaned singlehandedly as a way to train his body to get into U.A.

"I didn't even notice I was this far…" Mizuki caught herself in her daze state. "Sorry, I was busy running and got a little carried away. Did I disturb your running session?" She asked and Izuku shook his head vigorously.

"No! Not at all! I was busy running when I noticed you," Izuku said and Mizuki nodded, not saying anything as her eyes overflowed with emotions. Izuku noticed this and gave her a small smile, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Want to take a walk?" He asked with a warm smile and Mizuki blinked, grunting soon after. Izuku could see that she needed a friend. He noticed her growing annoyance during the week. She was the only one who couldn't train and knowing Mizuki, it irritated her greatly.

Even though he knew that… He had no idea how to cheer her up! Izuku eyed the female as she walked next to him, the two setting out on the beach. The sun was slowly starting to set as it painted the sky with different shades of orange, yellow and pink.

"If you told me this place would be this squeaky clean about a year ago, I would've told you that you're being delusional. Every time I come by here, I'm amazed at what you did," Mizuki said and Izuku laughed blushingly.

"It's not that big of a deal! I couldn't have done it without any motivation either!" Izuku looked down at his hand palm. "It was all thanks to everyone supporting me," he said and Mizuki came to a stop, Izuku soon following.

Mizuki stared out towards the horizon of the sea, the salty breeze fulling her spiky ash blonde hair. Her red eyes fought against the dim red colours of the sunset. A small frown rested on her plush lips and her one hand was pushing her hair out of her face.

"This is where it all started, huh?" Mizuki mused to herself, Izuku stricken with confusion. "I've been watching how you train for a while now and been waiting to ask you. How's the control going with your Quirk?"

Izuku's blinked a few times and pressed his lips together. "I've been trying to get my body stronger so it can handle the impact better. I'm hoping that I'm getting closer to being able to control it," Izuku said and Mizuki hummed.

She sighed and then fell onto the sand, Izuku letting out a cry in surprise. Mizuki lay on the warm sand, her eyes looking up at the blue of the sky that peeked out from the sunset. She crossed her arms behind her head, brows furrowing.

"Izu-kun, do you remember when I first got my Quirk?" Mizuki asked, Izuku raising an eyebrow at the question. "Katsuki got it as soon as we turned four, the little shit able to use it perfectly as it slowly developed."

"If I remember correctly, yours also appeared around the same time. You were very sick with a high fever and weren't at school for a while," Izuku replied as he thought back and Mizuki nodded, her eyes showing the deepness of her thoughts.

"I got the full-blown Quirk right then and there. I couldn't control it at all and had problems with being feverish. I would randomly explode and it was always at the worst possible times. Remember when I burnt your favourite All Might bedding?" Mizuki recalled.

Izuku laughed lightly as he remembered. "Yeah, it was at the sleepover I had for my sixth birthday. We were all startled, thinking there was a burglar!" Izuku said as he sat down next to his childhood friend.

"I still feel bad about that, and if there were a burglar, I would've kicked his ass," Mizuki proudly stated, Izuku snickering. He followed her gaze up towards the stars that started to peek as night-time fell onto the city.

"After a while, I got the hang of it. I had to force myself not to use the full power or I would've caused more damage to myself. That's where you are now," Mizuki said and Izuku's eyes widen. He hadn't expected the story to lead towards him.

"Your body has never experienced a Quirk before and now it has all this power that it can't handle. You need to learn that using it full blown isn't the way to go. You need to learn how to use the maximum without injuring yourself. Aizawa Sensei told you. You can't afford to become incapacitated and expect someone to save you," Mizuki concluded.

Izuku's hand was held out in front of him as his thoughts processed what she said. Mizuki was right. This entire time he had been using his power at 100% and hoping for control when he needed to start at the very beginning, using small percentages.

From there on he could condition his body to use more and more of the power that was inside of him. He managed to use it once without causing great damage but never again after that. He had the feeling. All he had to do was remember how to do it again.

"Hey, you're muttering insanely," Mizuki brought him out of his thoughts and his eyes widened, He waved his arms in front of him while trying to apologize. Mizuki chuckled in amusement, much to hid dismay.

"I could make out that you at least know where to go. You're a nerd, right? I'm sure you'll figure out a way to get it right," Mizuki told him and heard her brother's yelling in the back of her head when she used the term 'nerd'.

"I'll try my best!"

"I know you will," Mizuki said and then let out an exasperated sigh. "I have to work on using other type of explosions. I have a great advantage with being able to use it over my entire body but I can't do different types of explosions like my brother. Geez, he's such an ass."

Izuku laughed at her statement before something rang in his head. His eyes started to widen as realization dawned upon him, his mind clearing up. He let out a shout, Mizuki startled when he suddenly jumped up.

"That's it! Mi-chan, you're a genius!"

"I am…? I mean, I know I am… But why am I a genius?" Mizuki asked, her thoughts feeling as though they were short circuiting. She didn't know what was going on and she hoped that Izuku would shine a light on her confusion.

"All this time I was using my Quirk at times and on areas where I needed it." Mizuki slowly nodded, not catching on what he was trying to say. "I used it when it was necessary and flipped the switch when needed. What I needed to do was to keep the switch flipped the entire time!" He stated.

Mizuki's eyes widened as she watched the male, everything clicking in place in her head. Izuku clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. His legs and arms started to glow as he activated his Quirk, the glowing stretching out throughout his body.

"You…" Mizuki trailed off and smirked when she saw green sparks appear over his tensed body. She didn't even notice what she said but this guy took her words an interpreted it in a way that he was able to use it.

"You're right…Mi-chan…I can't use…full power…I have to…use what I can…over my…whole body!" He managed to say through gritted teeth as he felt the power coursing through his entire body, the tension a lot to hold.

"Want to test it out?" He gave her a look of disbelief, Mizuki letting sparks appear on her hand palms. "Don't worry, I won't go all out. I'm curious to see what you'll be able to do. So, what about it?" She asked and he gave her a smirk.

"Yes, plea-Gah!" Izuku didn't expect the sudden onslaught, the explosion causing him to backtrack and fall down. He fell out of his power state and breathed heavy; the tension still apparent in his body.

"Hey, hey, you need to keep that state!" Mizuki told him and Izuku glanced up at her, his face paling slightly when he saw her grin evilly, explosions erupting in her hand palm. "I'm far from done with you. Come at me, Izu-kun!"

Izuku's brows furrowed and he was about to activate his Quirk once again, but staggered backwards when Mizuki let loose an explosion at his feet. He managed to get up to his feet, jumping to the side when there was another explosion.

Mi-chan's not giving me time to use it and she knows it. She's trying to let me use it faster. If only I can spare me some time… Izuku thought and coughed when she gave him a solid punch in the stomach, followed by a kick.

Mizuki's eyes widened when he caught her leg, his grip tightening. "Mi-chan, I know your fighting style too, you know. You always go in for a kick as the last move of your combinations," Izuku said with a grin, his limbs starting to glow.

Mizuki smirked. "You little stalker. There's just one thing you're forgetting, Izu-kun," Mizuki pointed out and let out an explosion from her foot, Izuku wincing at the heat that emerged. Mizuki went on the attack as Izuku stepped inside the sea water.

"You're too slow!" Mizuki yelled out at him and soon gasped when he splashed her with the sea water. She covered her eyes on instinct and flinched at some of the water that came in her eyes. She glared at the male, her smirk widening when she saw him charge up his Quirk.

He was aware that he wasn't fast enough to activate his Quirk and had to think of a way to buy time. Izu-kun, your overactive brain will make you a monster someday. Mizuki thought, a trail of sweat falling down the side of her face when she saw the green sparks fly around him.

She watched as he vanished from his spot, the male appearing behind her. W-What? I barely saw him even move. He's only using a small percentage. How is he this fast? He dug his heels into the sand and then charged straight towards her.

"Smash!" Izuku went to punch her, Mizuki stepping to the side. He nearly grazed her cheek, the wind pressure blowing where he released his attack. Mizuki smashed her knee in his abdomen, the green haired male coughing at the impact.

"Don't underestimate me, Izu-kun!" Mizuki then hit him into the sand below, Izuku wincing at the pain in his back. "Smash? I see you're still trying to imitate All Might. Some things never change," Mizuki told the male with a smirk.

Izuku tried to push himself on shaky arms. She's not pulling her punches even though it doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would. As expected from using it over my entire body. Izuku thought and then grabbed Mizuki's ankle.

"Sorry, Mi-chan, but I'm not done yet!" Izuku said and pulled her leg out from under her, red eyes widening as they gazed up at the stars. Izuku's persistence made her smirk widen into a grin, mischief gleaming in her eyes.

"I wouldn't have it any other way!" Mizuki pulled the male with her, her hand grasping his shirt. Before she made impact on the ground, she turned them around. She let loose an explosion between them, Izuku shot against the ground while she took to the air.

He gritted his teeth as he looked up at Mizuki, his body protesting. He saw her put her arms behind her, sparks appearing on her skin. He pushed himself up on shaky legs, the female propelling herself towards him.

Izuku clenched his fist to the side, his green electricity building up as he watched his childhood friend approach. He didn't want to hit her directly, but he could soften the impact by using a different technique.

"New Hampshire Smash!"

Mizuki's eyes widened at the punch that he released much earlier than she expected, the shockwave pushing against her. She brought her arms up to guard against the wind, her teeth gritted.

He wanted to slow my momentum and used the wind pressure from his punch? Damn it! I can't guard well in the air! Mizuki gasped when she was shot back by the pressure, her body not able to push against it.

She was sent over the sea, a few feet away from the beach. She needed to turn her body so that she could use her explosions to get back to the beach. She was about to spin around, but caught sight of a green blur.

Izu-kun?!

Izuku jumped straight towards her, his eyes gleaming with determination. He held out his hands and managed to catch her, red eyes amazed. Despite his movements being limited, he still managed to jump to save her.

"I got you!" Izuku said and Mizuki chuckled. His smile widened into a grin, until he fell out of his Quirk. The duo's eyes widened and the next thing they knew, they were crashing into the water below.

There was a large splash, the water not shallow enough to cause damage, though it was deep enough to soak them. Izuku cursed inside his head that he was unable to hold his Quirk and came up for air, gasping as he did so.

"Mi-chan!" He called, his green eyes catching sight of the ash blonde female as she sat in the water. She burst out laughing, the sound calming as the water dripping down her hair. Its rebellious nature was forced into submission with the wetness.

"That was great!" Mizuki yelled out, a bright smile on her lips and Izuku's eyes widened. This little fighting session was what she yearned for all along. It was the one thing she needed to get out of her depression.

Izuku joined in the laughter, sitting in the water and completely soaked. Merely sitting and laughing felt great. With all the pressure that was put on him, he felt free in that moment and it was the same for Mizuki.

"Thank you, Mi-chan. You're always helping me out when I need it," Izuku said, Mizuki glancing at the male as he made a fist. "I know exactly what to do now. You helped me realize what it was that I was missing."

"No problem, Izu-kun. That's what friends are for, right?" Mizuki said as she ran a hand through her hair and he nodded. Izuku stood up, water rushing down his soaked clothing and Mizuki snickering in amusement.

She blinked when he held out his hand towards her, his caring eyes and smile reaching her. "Need a hand?" He said and Mizuki smiled. She took his hand and he helped her up, her own clothing letting out a splash of water and sticking to her body.

Izuku blushed deeply at the wetness of her clothing and quickly averted his eyes. "U-Um, M-Mi-chan! Y-You're exposed!" He stated in a panicked tone and Mizuki raised an eyebrow. She took in her appearance, a faint blush covering her cheeks when she saw that a sensitive part of her breast was showing through her sports bra.

"Well, don't look, Perv-zuku!" Mizuki scolded him as she tried to cover herself from the male while he turned his back towards her. Mizuki let out a breath and frowned deeply. How was she going to get home looking like this?

"Young Midoriya? Young Mizuki?" The two teenagers froze at the voice and they hesitantly looked at the blonde male that appeared. Toshinori stood on the beach, staring at the two soaked young ones with a stunned expression.

Mizuki yelped, her face reddening drastically. "Don't look!" Mizuki yelled, her voice much higher than usual. She hid behind Izuku, the green haired male stuttering at the close proximity and his mouth running dry.

"W-Wait! Mi-chan! You're too close! T-Too close! Wah!" Izuku fall down in the water, Mizuki falling on top of him and Toshinori sweat dropping at the scene. He had no idea what was going on between the two.

Izuku coughed out water from swallowing on impact, Mizuki also letting out a small cough. They made eye contact as he pushed himself up and both flushed deep crimson. Mizuki lay against Izuku's chest, her breast pressing against him to both of their dismays.

"DON'T LOOK!"

After a large explosion emerged from the water, the two emerged with Mizuki being carried on Izuku's back. Much to his embarrassment. Luckily, Toshinori offered the soaked girl his jacket and she was quirk to put it on to cover herself.

"What exactly where you two doing? You're both soaking wet!" Toshinori pointed out, still confused about exactly what happened between them. Izuku tried to find the words, still dazed while Mizuki shivered, her body warming up.

"We were training Izu-kun's Quirk." Toshinori went rigid at her words, the colour draining from his face. Izuku shook his head drastically as he received a horrified look and the blonde male sighed in relief.

"Mi-chan helped me with control and I guess we got a little carried away," he sheepishly stated, rubbing the back of his head. Water dripped down his locks of green hair and he tried to fight against the shivering of the coldness.

"I came here to see how your training was doing but I honestly didn't think it would be something like this," Toshinori said with a sigh. "You two should get home as soon as possible before you get sick," he added.

"I'm surprised to see you, Toshinori-san. I thought you only trained Izuku for the entrance exam for U.A.?" Mizuki asked, raising an eyebrow. The male visibly twitched and nervously smiled at her, a sound escaping his lips that sounded almost like a laugh.

"W-Well, y-you see… Y-Young Midoriya wanted to l-let me h-help him to train for the sports festival coming up!" Toshinori fumbled over his words and gestured wildly with his hands, Mizuki merely staring.

"T-That's right!"

Mizuki looked between the two panic driven men, not convinced about the reason that was given to her at all. She decided not to pry. After all, she trusted Izuku would tell her everything in time. She had enough faith.

"Whatever you say." They sighed in relief, Izuku jumping when her gaze landed on him. "My house is the closest from here. We can get you dried up and something to wear before you go home," Mizuki offered.

"N-No! I-It's okay!"

"You're soaking wet and we're over a week away from the sports festival. It would be stupid if you got yourself sick," Mizuki pointed out and cut him off when he still wanted to argue. "I'm not taking no for an answer." Her tone was low and threatening, Izuku paling.

"Y-Yes!" he replied, not wanting to make the female angry. Toshinori was dumb folded at the scene in front of him, the friendship between the two still something unpredicted. Yet, he could see the bonds that connected them, the strong foundation not fragile enough to break.

"Sorry, Al-Toshinori-san! We can train tomorrow again," Izuku quickly corrected himself and gave the blonde male an apologetic smile. Toshinori smiled and shook his head in reply. After all, the real reason he came was a secret.

"Don't worry about it, Young Midoriya!" He said and then looked at Mizuki. "Please take care and good luck with your training for the sports festival. I look forward to seeing you both compete." Mizuki's brows furrowed.

Young Midoriya? Now that I think about it, he also called me Young Mizuki. That's strange. All Might also calls us that… Mizuki thought and shrugged. It's probably a trait that they have in common or he's also a fan of the hero.

"Yeah, we'll kick some serious ass, nah, Izu-kun?" Mizuki gave him a soft shove with her elbow and he snickered with a nod. Toshinori took in the two's interaction, his brows knitting together as his thoughts trailed off.

"We should head home-W-What are you doing?!" Mizuki asked as Izuku lifted her up onto his back, the female caught off guard by his sudden actions. She quickly grabbed a hold of his shoulders, red eyes perplexed.

"I'm the one who got us soaked and you still need to rest. You've been jogging and fighting and probably pushed yourself further than you should, right?" Izuku concluded and Mizuki bit her bottom lip. She buried her face in his shoulder, hiding her expression.

"I-It's embarrassing…"

"Huh? Why? You always carried me around like this when we were younger!" Izuku recalled as he started to walk away, Toshinori giving them a wave that he returned. He felt Mizuki shift slightly and felt the heat coming from his body, taking away the shivers.

Mizuki had always had a warm body, even if it was cold, her body heat would always rise in response. Every time she would carry him around, he would fall asleep on her back. The thought made him feel ashamed at how innocent he was.

"We're not kids anymore, Izu-kun," Mizuki murmured softly. Her words make him nod vaguely, knowing very well that they were approaching adulthood quickly. The already had a glimpse of the world of pro heroes and experienced fighting Villains.

"You don't need me to stand up for you anymore either. You're standing up for yourself and looking all confident while doing it. You're going to have a lot of girls fall for you like that," Mizuki said and Izuku blushed.

"W-Where did you get that idea?!"

"Huh? You haven't noticed?" Mizuki was baffled. "Ochaco has an enormous crush on you! Not to mention, I saw how you two looked at each other. It's adorable," Mizuki pointed out and caused Izuku's brain to short circuit.

"U-Uraraka-san?! N-No, it's not like that! S-She's j-just a friend! Ow!" Izuku exclaimed when Mizuki's hand palms made a small explosion against his wet skin. He swallowed thickly at the deadly aura that was directed towards him.

"Are you an idiot? You never tell a girl you're just friends. Do you want to break her heart?" Mizuki asked and Izuku shook his head. "You may think so, but she likes you. A lot. She even calls you Deku for some odd reason. Why is that by the way?"

"Oh, she thought that my name was Deku with Kacchan calling me it the entire time. She was surprised that it was an insult and said that it sounded like 'you can do it'," he said with a goofy smile on her lips, eyes quivering with emotion.

Mizuki pulled his cheek, the male exclaiming in pain. "Look at this delectable in-love expression! Geez, you really are dense at times… I'm not going to pry or anything. Just keep my words in the back of your head and don't do anything stupid," Mizuki said as Izuku rubbed his sore cheek.

"But, Mi-chan, you like Kirishima-kun, don't you?" Izuku pointed out and immediately regretted his words. She was going to kill him for saying it aloud! So much for trying to be a hero. He was going to die here and now.

"Yeah." Izuku gaped at Mizuki, her calm answer shocking him to the core. "I'm a real idiot. Stupid Mizuki," she muttered the last part in an inaudible whisper. It was the first time in his life that Mizuki was acting shyly. He had seen all of her over the years but shy was never one of them. To have Mizuki act this way meant that she must really like the redhead.

Another unpredictable turnout.

"Ah, it's been a while since I've been here…" Izuku spoke up as they arrived at the Bakugou residence. He stared at the large house, a familiar balcony bringing back a bunch of memories that he spent with Mizuki.

Mizuki climbed off his back and opened the gate, glancing back. "You coming?" She asked and watched as he briefly wavered. It was understandable. Especially since the tension between him and Katsuki had grown.

"Um, M-Mi-chan, maybe I should-""I'm home!" Mizuki called, opening the front door and left the poor green haired male to exclaim. She didn't even listen to what he had to say and went ahead of him anyway.

"Welcome home, Mizuki. Oh dear, you're completely soaked! What happened?" Masaru asked as he took in his daughter's appearance, his attention averted away from the television. Mizuki took off her shoes and pointed outside.

"I helped Izu-kun with his Quirk. Mind if he catches a shower? I'll borrow some of Katsuki's clothes for him to wear," Mizuki stated in her normal, calm tone, Izuku turning white. She wasn't reading the atmosphere at all.

"Mm? Izu-?""Izuku's here?" Mitsuki intercepted her husband as she popped out of nowhere, her smile widening. "It's been a while! Come on in! I'll make you something to drink!" Izuku reluctantly walked inside, having no other choice with Mitsuki asking him.

"S-Sorry for the disturbance! I won't be long!"

"Nonsense!" Mitsuki said and clapped her hands together, bouncing slightly from happiness. It was an odd sight for everyone. "It's not every day you visit us! You can make yourself at home while I make some tea."

"T-Thank you, Bakugou-san," Izuku thanked and rubbed the back of his head innocently. Bakugou-san is in a very good mood today. He blinked when a towel plopped down on his head and saw Mizuki already drying herself off.

"You can use the showers in the guest room, you still know where it is, right? I'll go get you some clean clothes from Explodo-kill," Mizuki said and Izuku sweat dropped with a nod. Everything was still in place and the same as he remembered it.

Mitsuki's face flushed as she looked between the two. It was the first time in years that Izuku came to visit and not to mention all wet with Mizuki wearing a jacket. It didn't take much for her to connect the dots.

Mizuki went upstairs as Izuku went to shower in the guest room, his nerves shot. Is Katsuki knew he was there all hell was going to break lose. He didn't know why Mizuki insisted that he came over her house.

"Hey, Explodo-kill," Mizuki knocked on her brother's door, stepping inside soon after. Katsuki sat by his desk, busy with homework. He completely ignored her presence, his calming facial expression showing his deep concentration.

"I'm borrowing some clothes for Izu-kun to wear," Mizuki said as she walked over towards his drawer. Silence. She pulled out pants and a t-shirt, closing the drawer soon after. Silence. She then walked out and closed the door behind her.

Queue the tantrum in 3...2...1…

"WHAT THE HELL IS DEKU DOING HERE?!" Katsuki exploded, smashing his door open as he fumed. "HEY, MIZUKI! GIVE MY CLOTHES BACK!" He angrily stomped towards his sister, stopping halfway when he saw she was wearing an unknown jacket, water dripping from her clothing underneath.

"Where is he…?" Katsuki asked, sparks appearing in the palm of his hands, his teeth grinding tightly against each other. "I'll kill him!" He shouted, Mizuki letting out a sigh. As soon as he was about to burst off to look for the green haired boy, she grabbed his collar.

He protested, until he felt the shivers running down his back. "Listen here, Asshole. I brought him here. If you have a problem with that, why don't you take it up with me? I'll be sure to help you sort it out," she darkly stated and her eyes narrowing dangerously onto him.

Katsuki bit back his commentary, a trail of sweat running down the side of his face. Mizuki was on the edge of going crazy on him. He scoffed and crossed his arms over his chest. Mizuki grunted and let go of his collar.

"I still don't want that Shitty Nerd here! You hear me?!" He shouted after her and Mizuki waved him off, her towel falling onto her shoulders. She knew he didn't approve but she didn't care either. When she brought a guest home, he needed to keep himself in check.

Izuku sighed in gratification as he stepped out of the shower, the warm water heating up his body. He dried his hair with the towel put out for him and swallowed thickly when he saw the clothing put out for him.

This is crazy! Am I really going to wear Kacchan's clothing? What is Mi-chan thinking? Does she want him to despise me even more? Izuku thought and let his shoulder slump in defeat. He would never understand what went off in Mizuki's head.

"Here you go," Mitsuki's voice reached his ears as he stepped out of the guest room. He saw her hand over a warm cup of tea, a small smile on her face. He nodded with a 'thank you' and took a sip of the warm beverage.

"So, Izuku, how long have you and Mizuki gone out?"

Izuku spat out the tea and coughed as he choked on some of the beverage. His entire face reddened as he wheezed for air. He fumbled over his words as Mitsuki gave him a deadly innocent look. She was terrifying.

"We're not going out," Mizuki spoke up as she walked down the stairs wearing nothing but sweat pants and one of her favourite peach shirts. "I like someone else." Mitsuki and Masaru was taken back by their daughter's unrivalled bluntness.

"You like someone else? Don't lie to me, Mizuki. A mother knows everything," Mitsuki said, finding her bearings again. She crossed her arms over her chest and gave her daughter a displeased look, her daughter briefly ruffling her hair.

"Must hurt when you're wrong about something, huh?" Mizuki countered, her mother growling in reply and Izuku turning blue. He was standing between the two females, the tension suffocating him. He looked over at Masaru, the male not fazed as he watched television and drank his tea.

"What's his name? How old is he? Where did you meet? Where does he go to school? Does he have a Quirk? What's his favourite food? What does he hope to achieve in life?" Mitsuki bombarded her daughter who showed indifference.

T-that's a lot of questions!

"His name is Eijiro Kirishima, he's the same age as us and in the same class. I met him at the entrance exam. His Quirk is hardening, enabling him to harden parts of his body which is good in defence and offense. His favourite food is meat and he hopes to achieve being a chivalrous hero like Crimson Riot," Mizuki answered smoothly.

Masaru and Mitsuki's eyes were wide at Mizuki, Izuku joining the fray. She knows that much about Kirishima-kun? She didn't even flinch to answer any of those questions. Izuku thought in amazement, Mizuki letting out a yawn.

"My baby…" Mitsuki teared up and crushed her daughter in a hug, the ash blonde teenager chuckling at her mother's behaviour. "She finally has someone in her sights! So, tell me, when are you going to reel him in?" She asked and Izuku sweat dropped.

Is he a fish?

Mizuki could feel her cheeks tint slightly. "It's not like that, Mom. I'm not reeling in anyone. Also, can we please not talk about my crushes out in the open like this? It's embarrassing," Mizuki tried to hide the redness of her face. Izuku smiled softly at Mizuki's shyness.

"Hey, Deku," Katsuki's voice reached him and he felt his mouth run dry. "You have some nerve to come to my house. Care to explain why Mizuki was wet and wearing someone else's jacket?" he was already down stairs and treading towards him.

"W-Wait, K-Kacchan! I-I c-can explain!"

"Which reminds me, I put Toshinori-san's jacket in the washing. I'll bring it to you tomorrow so that you can give it to him. Give him my thanks," Mizuki said with a smile and Izuku nodded. Everyone else in the room was baffled.

"Well, I'll see you out," Mizuki said, finally reading the atmosphere. Izuku felt the hole being made in his back with Katsuki's glare. It didn't last long with Mizuki cutting him off. He barely survived the lion's den.

"Thank you for everything, Mi-chan. Tonight was…fun," he said, a warm smile plastered on his face. Mizuki nodded and ruffled his hair, a smirk forming on her lips. It had been the second time they had spent time together, both enjoying the letting loose time.

"I agree. I'll see you at school tomorrow. Stay safe," Mizuki said and he nodded. She watched as he walked off. She was once again reminded that he had grown a lot and she was excited what he was going to show her.

"Mizuki! I don't want that clothes back that Deku wore! Burn them!" Katsuki snarled loudly and Mizuki let out a sigh. She ran a hand through her hair. She was not, however, excited to deal with her hormonal brother.
