POKEMON: LET'S GO
Episode 13: The Hidden World Of Clefairy
"At last our heroes are standing in front of the entrance of Mt. Moon that directly leads to the Cerulean City. The excitement of another Gym Battle is surely uncontrollable, but it is far enough. Hold your breath! Another adventure awaits you."
The group stands at the entrance of the Mt. Moon and Riley tells his friends that Cerulean City is located just on its other side. An overexcited Chase quickly starts climbing, only to fall down and try again until Riley explains that it is so steep that the only way through is through the cave. Chase apologises and enter the cave after his friends. As the group moves ahead, they reach a point of diversion. Riley finds it difficult to tell the right way as they don't have any map for travelling within the cave. Eevee finds something glittering inside one of the caves, so she goes to take a look. Pikachu notices it and follows her to bring her back. Meanwhile, the group discusses about the way they should choose. Riley makes a random guess that, Cerulean City is to the right of the main entrance of Mt. Moon, so they should choose the right cave. Elaine screams in panic as she notices the absence of Eevee and Pikachu. However, Elaine's scream disturbs a group of sleeping Zubat that come down the ceiling and start flying here and there. The group lies down to prevent themselves from getting hurt. The Zubat get divided and storm into the two caves. Chase steps upon a trigger while trying to stand up and the group gets caught in a net.
In the cave, Eevee reaches the glittering object and finds it to be a bottle cap. Disappointed, she kicks it away. Pikachu catches up with her and asks her to get back. As they turn to return, they find the fleet of the Zubat approaching them. The duo runs in the opposite direction and end up falling in a pit.
Back with the group, where they try their best to get out of the net, but to no avail. They are surprised by the arrival of Officer Jenny, who accuses them of carrying out illegal mining in the Mt. Moon. Chase and Elaine show her their Pokedex to prove their innocence. Convinced by this proof she leaves them and tells them about having got reports of some people doing illegal mining in the Mt. Moon. She also tells them that Mt. Moon was formed a million years ago when a meteorite crashed with Earth and caused a big part of land to rise up that formed the Mt. Moon. So, the place is rich in minerals and a special type of stone can be found here, called the Moon Stone. Riley thinks that the miners could be behind Moon Stone. Elaine draws their attention back to the fact that Pikachu and Eevee are missing. Officer Jenny apologises for them being caught in the trap and offers help in finding their Pokemon.
Elsewhere, Team Rocket comes out of a hole they dug right then. Jessie points at many of the holes they previously dug, complaining that they have spent a whole day in digging but have got nothing. James asks Meowth if he is sure they are digging at the right place. Meowth confidently relies on the intelligence he acquired. He motivates Jessie and James with a BOSS fantasy in which they present Giovanni with a whole lot of Moon Stones and get promoted in return. James gets excited, but Jessie refuses to dig anymore and throws her digging tools away. The tools hit a sleeping Geodude that is infuriated. It calls a few more Geodude that Chase Team Rocket away.
Pikachu and Eevee are met with a Clefairy in the pit they fell into. The Clefairy takes them to a hidden part of the cave. There the duo witnesses a colony of Clefairy. The Clefairy gladly welcomes Eevee and Pikachu and they together start playing with them.
Back with the group, Riley calls out his Growlithe to sniff and find Pikachu and Eevee. It starts sniffing and walking. The group and Officer Jenny follow it. As they move on they find many holes dug in the ground. Riley calls it a hint leading to the miners. Officer Jenny also supports his notion, saying that they are close to finding the culprits. Chase draws their attention back to the point that they are finding Pikachu and Eevee, not the culprits.
Elsewhere, being chased by the group of Geodude, Team Rocket falls down in another pit. Meowth sighs saying finally their hard work at digging holes did them some good. James disagrees, finding the hole to be too deep to have been dug by them. Jessie notices that a small canal is leading to an opening. Team Rocket follows it to reach to the hidden world of Clefairy. And also find Pikachu and Eevee there. Meowth suggests catching all the Clefairy along with Eevee and Pikachu to gift them to their BOSS. They throw a big net catching a lot of Clefairy in it. Pikachu and Eevee stand against Team Rocket to protect the Clefairy. Jessie and James send Ekans and Koffing respectively.
Back with the group, Growlithe leads them while sniffing the way. It senses a little tremble in the ground and gets alerted of something approaching them. The Geodude that were previously chasing Team Rocket rampage towards them. They turn back to run but fall in another pit. They also discover the hidden place and find Eevee and Pikachu there, trying to protect Clefairy from Team Rocket. As they find their trainers, Pikachu and Eevee rush to them. Officer Jenny makes a guess that Team Rocket are the ones responsible for illegal mining. They confirm it before introducing themselves by reciting their motto.
Jessie has Ekans use Poison Sting that is countered by Pikachu with Iron Tail. James commands Koffing for Sludge, Eevee dodges it and hits Koffing with Quick Attack. Growlithe steps out and uses Flamethrower hitting Ekans. Koffing uses Sludge repeatedly to make it hard for Growlithe and Pikachu to dodge it. Pikachu, however, closes on with Quick Attack and hits Koffing with Iron Tail, smashing it up in the ceiling. Ekans goes to Bite Pikachu, but Growlithe grabs it with his own Bite and smashes it into the ceiling at the same spot where Koffing was smashed. A small part of the ceiling breaks and falls down, along with many Moon Stones. Jessie wonders how can they get Moon Stones so easily, whereas they didn't even get a single one after digging for so long. Officer Jenny says they wouldn't have gat any as the Moon Stone can be only found in the ceiling and not the floor of the cave. Jessie and James charge upon Meowth for wasting their time and energy in digging. Meanwhile, Eevee uses Swift cutting the net and freeing the Clefairy. All the Clefairy, wag their fingers that forms a Rock Tomb attack that causes an explosion, blasting off Team Rocket through a hole in the ceiling. Chase scans his Pokedex to learn that the move is called Metronome that can help the user use almost any move. Some of the Clefairy touch the Moon Stones and evolve into Clefable. Officer Jenny explains to a confused Chase that the Moon Stone can make certain species to evolve.
Sometime later, Officer Jenny brings the group out of the Mt. Moon and gladly declares that the case is finally closed. Chase is excited to quickly get to Cerulean City. Officer Jenny corrects him, telling him that the road leads to Pewter City. The group then realises that they are back on the point where they started and now they need to cross the Mt. Moon again. Elaine is frustrated and Riley decides to use a map to navigate inside Mt. Moon. However, Chase looks it as an opportunity to explore the Mt. Moon more.
