A/N: I'M NOT DEAD! I'M STILL ALIVE, BET YOU DIDN'T THINK THAT I'D COME BACK TO LIFE- okay. XD Seriously. I am not dead. I spent a week with another padawan, and I forgot until, like, five minutes before, so I didn't even have time to pack XD
But, I'm back. If you all want, I can take this to thirty-one chapters instead of twenty-five, which was my original plan. It's up to you guys. :D
Note: I am very obsessed with Twi'leks recently. I don't know why. They're pretty. XD And I'm random. They're just fun to write with, I guess? Anyway, back to the story.
Ahsoka bit into a gingerbread cookie, clinging to Barriss in a side hug.
The padawans were attempting to help Obi-Wan babysit a few of the youngling clans.
And it was exhausting.
At least to Ahsoka. Barriss seemed to be having no problem.
To be fair, it was late, and Ahsoka had run around with them in an attempt to tire them out for bed. All that accomplished was tiring her out and getting the younglings riled up.
So now the three were watching them play, separating them if any fights started getting out of hand, handing out snacks, and rocking the littlest to sleep.
A tiny voice made Ahsoka jump. "Padawan Tano?"
The blue Twi'lek reached up for Ahsoka to carry her. Which she did, cradling the girl close and walking to the window.
The Twi'lek let her head fall on Ahsoka's shoulder, cuddling up into the blankets Ahsoka wrapped around her.
"Tired?" Ahsoka asked gently.
"No."
"Alright then.." Ahsoka wracked her brain for the little girl's name.
"Aola."
Ahsoka smiled. "That's it. Hard to get all your names straight."
Aola smiled back, then cuddled closer to Ahsoka.
When Ahsoka looked down at the girl next, the soft brown eyes were nearly closed.
"Excited for Life Day, little one?" Force, that nickname sounded weird coming from her.
"Yeah." came the whispered reply.
Ahsoka slowly walked back to where Barriss and Obi-Wan were buried in half-asleep younglings.
"She asleep?" Barriss asked, attempting to move to a more comfortable position (and was immediately stopped by a chorus of sleepy moans and protests).
"I think so." Ahsoka gingerly sat, resting her head on Obi-Wan's shoulder.
The Jedi master let out a low chuckle. "Goodnight, little one."
A/N: That was barely a Life Day story. XD Oh well. Happiness and platonic cuddles. That's all we're asking for FILONI ASFJKDRF okay. XD More younglings in the next chapter! :D :D
