I really don't know how it is that I'm finding the time to write these chapters with all of the work from school I've had lately. Anyways I really hope you guys like this chapter.
...
"Rise and shine, people!" Sokka said as he began to bang a rock with his "non spirity sword". The group began to groan in annoyance to the sound.
As he continued, Zuko got up and grabbed the boomerang guy's sword right out of his hand. He swung it far away so that he couldn't find it again. "Quit banging that!" the firelord yelled out in annoyance.
Sokka frowned at the fact that that was his second favorite sword Zuko just threw away. "Ok I think it is time that we woke up," Katara said as she sat up from her sleeping bag.
"Sounds good, we already got a lot of sleep so we should be fine." Suki responded as she yawned. "I think we should go over some parts of the plan," Sokka mentioned as he took out a piece of paper he had written the whole plan start to finish on.
"Like what?" the hair loops girl asked. "Well, Janan said that we should split up at a certain point. That two of us would go look for that magic box that Aang is in, while you and the other person capture the evil spirit guy in the magic spirity vase."
"Alright, who wants to stick with me to capture Seth in the Seishin Keimusho?" Sokka and Suki stayed quiet knowing they didn't want to have to fight him. Zuko rolled his eyes at them not volunteering, "Fine, I guess I'll go with you."
"Ok so everything else is planned. Does everyone have their weapons?" To which they all nodded 'yes'. "Katara do you have the magic spirity vase?"
"Again, it's called the Seishin Keimusho and yes I have it here in my satchel." She replied and showed them the vase in her bag.
"I guess we're all set, Katara go tell Janan we're ready."
The group had been walking for what felt like hours. They finally reached the border and you could visibly see the difference between the two places. There was so much light in one side and so much darkness in the other.
"This is where I leave you," the light spirit announced. They all nodded and continued to walk through the dark forest.
Sokka was walking in front and cutting multiple branches with thorns. The friends continued to walk until they suddenly reached a giant mountain with a large entrance to a cave.
"When she said we wouldn't be able to miss it, she really mean it." The Kyoshi warrior commented.
"Alright remember everyone, there could be dark spirits anywhere you turn. So keep and eye out and have each other's backs." The Water Tribe warrior said to the group.
They all now had their weapons out and were ready to fight whatever came their way. As they entered the cave, Suki looked over to find a spirit trying to grab her leg. She quickly jumped and used her fan to slice through the dark spirit.
The others widened their eyes to how quickly she got rid of it. Then suddenly Katara saw another spirit coming towards Sokka. She quickly got an arrow from her quiver and shot it at the spirit causing it to disappear.
They continued to walk down the cave and were attacked by five more dark spirits. Zuko used his dual swords to finish two of them and watched as they slowly faded away. Katara grabbed another arrow and shot it directly to the dark spirit's head.
Suki took hold of her fan and ran towards a spirit and slid through it. Sokka grabbed the hilt of the sword and swung it around to then hit the remaining spirit.
As the group continued to walk, Zuko turned around to find a spirit trying to hurt Suki from behind. "Suki!" he yelled out and ran to her. He swung one of his swords and stabbed the spirit.
As he did however, he tripped and caused him and the Kyoshi warrior to fall to the ground on top of each other. They stared at each other with wide and embarrassed eyes. "Um, thanks." Suki said with an awkward voice. The two got up and followed Sokka and Katara.
They now ran through the cave and fought around four more spirits until finally getting to the main room of the cave. The place was very large, made up of giant boulders, and it was very dark to the human eye. They looked to find a tall spirit sitting on a boulder that was carved to look like a seat and had white flames surrounding it.
"Well, what do we have here? Humans trying to invade my lair?" The dark spirit began to speak with a wicked tone.
Katara tightened her jaw at the sight of the spirit, "I'm guessing you're Seth?"
"I see my reputation perceives me. Now what is it that you want from me, seeing that you just killed so many of my minions?" Katara clenched her fist to try and prevent herself from ending him in that instant. "We're here because you have something we want, the Avatar's soul."
Seth was surprised by the human's demands, "And what makes you think I'm just going to give it to you?"
Sokka stepped into the conversation, "Look buddy, we're going to get the box one way or another. Now you can either surrender yourself, or you can fight and get badly hurt. Either way you're going to get captured."
The dark spirit of souls was now done playing games with them, "Spirits, finish them off."
More spirits became to pop up and began to go after them. The team began to get closer together and discussed what they were going to do next. "Katara, you only need to get Seth trapped in the vase. He's their leader, if he's gone they will leave us alone. Me and Suki will go through that tunnel over there and look for the box. You and Zuko stay here, and try not to die." Sokka whispered loud enough for the friends to hear but too low for any of the spirits to.
"You also try not to die, or Toph will have my head." The Water Tribe warrior grew a small smile and he and Suki began to run through the tunnel. About half of the dark spirits began to follow them while the rest stayed to fight Zuko and Katara.
"Ok firelord, it's just you and me. I'm going to try and sneak from the side to open the vase and capture him. Can you distract them from me?" She asked and got a small nod from the guy.
Katara got behind Zuko as he began to swing his swords at the spirits. He took out around five in the matter of seconds.
The waterbender began to sneak past multiple of the minions but shot a few that got in her way. More spirits continued to come at her and she found it hard to get the vase.
She then got an arrow from her quiver and shot it at a dark spirit that was standing in front of Seth. As the spirit began to wither away she slid down right through it. She got the Seishin Keimusho out of her satchel and before Seth could even blink she opened it right before him. The evil spirit began to scream out from what was happening, he was being sucked into the vase.
And before she knew it, he was gone. She quickly closed the vase and turned around to look at Zuko. All of Seth's minions began to run away after witnessing their master's take down.
Katara sighed in relief of knowing the hard part was now over. "You did it!" Zuko praised her with a smile. "Yeah, I guess I did. Now let's go find that box."
Sokka and Suki were looking for the Arca Linghun. They were being chased by multiple dark spirits but they fought off many of them.
As Sokka was battling three spirits with his sword, Suki noticed an opening in the cave's wall. She followed it and found a cell that held a small box inside.
"Sokka! I think I found something!" the Kyoshi warrior exclaimed. She turned to find Sokka struggling with the spirits, so she threw her fan like a knife and ended up taking out two of them.
The Water Tribe warrior picked up her fan and walked over to where she was. "Thanks," he said while handing her the Tessen. Sokka looked into the room that Suki was talking about and his eyes grew big when he caught side of the box.
"Is that it?" she asked with excitement. "Well I don't see any other magical boxes that are being kept in cells around here. So I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that's it."
They suddenly heard footsteps running towards them and got their weapons ready to fight more spirits. However, they were relieved to find Zuko and Katara.
"Oh, it's just you guys. Wait, so did you capture him?" Sokka asked them as he put his sword back in the scabbard. Katara raised the vase at them to demonstrate that the evil spirit was now trapped inside.
"All of the other spirits ran away when they say what happened to their leader. So, did you guys find the Arca Linghun?" The master waterbender asked.
"Yep, it's in here." The Kyoshi warrior said while walking into the room. Katara's eyes grew wide at the sight of the box. She proceeded to try and open the cell but wasn't able to, "It's locked."
Zuko got one of his blades and stepped in front of Katara, "Allow me." The firelord cut through the chains and watched as the lock burned.
The hair loops girl then opened the door of the cell and grabbed the small box sitting on the podium. She stared into it for a minute and something inside her just knew that Aang's soul was in there. A single tear dropped from her eye at knowing how close she was to getting him back now.
Katara turned to face her friends, "Okay, let's get out of here."
