Chapter 14th

Dominick was standing in the doorway with Amanda asking him to come inside. He was holding the three bags of Chinese food. "Dinner is here Amanda." He played with her for a brief moment.

"And the wine is on the table ready to be opened tonight." She said with feeling the butterflies in her stomach. While her daughter was being watched by the neighbors for tonight. "Come on inside already Dominick." He had taken off his jacket coming out from the cold...

She went to grab the opener on the table for where she was able to open the top very easily. While pouring the red wine into the glasses and handing him one. While she was going to take the Chinese food out of the bags.

"Is this the wine you picked up earlier at the liquor?" Making small talk with the question.

"I did Dominick. Let's eat first before I go into details with the questions. If this is alright with you?" She needed to be sure before placing the items smelling good onto the table and the elements to use with eating.

Meanwhile at the hospital Fen and his girlfriend Alicia age 52 years older and a dancer walked into the hospital to visit Captain Olivia Benson. They knocked on the door to walk inside with Olivia sitting eating her meal that was just horrible with the Meatloaf. Only the mashed potatoes, string beans and the salad that was good enough with the water, juice and coffee.

"Are we interrupting Captain?" Fen will have to say to her making a face at the Meatloaf. "I can make better Meatloaf then this Fen."

"Oh, this is Alicia, you have meet her once before. We have been dating off and on for the better of two years. We have something for you to read with the captain having permission to give it to you."

"What is it Fen that had to be important to bring it here instead?" She was curious as Fen handed it to her to read and placing her glasses on to read the file.

Meanwhile Fen grabbed a chair for Alicia to sit down in...

Taking a few moments to take in the words in the file. She was smiling when it had said that all of those involved with the buying and selling of drugs had been arrested, while the Senator having made a deal with the Attorney General's office is on his way to best safe house in the United States called Tombstone, Arizona.

"This is wonderful Fen. Does this mean this case is now officially closed?" She needed to be sure with the question.

"Yes it does Olivia. And everyone on the case can at least relax for a few days. By the way when it the doctor going to release you from the hospital?"

"I don't know. I hate hospital food. Any word on Dominick and Amanda Rollins?" She wanted to call to find out on whether Dominick had his answer.

"I wouldn't know Olivia. We will all probably find out tomorrow. And on that note I and Alicia will let you rest further. Maybe your finance will show up with food?"

"Maybe. But I doubt he will show up three times the charm in one day. Now get out of here and enjoy the rest of your evening." She insisted...

After Amanda had cleaned up the dishes that was used for the Chinese this evening. She asked Dominick on whether he wanted a third glass of wine like herself.

"Please." He was feeling all of a sudden somewhat mellow...

She poured the wine into the glasses again and sat down to began talking finally taking in a deep breath before getting up the nerve to asked him.

"Okay let's get to it before I change my mind. I need to know something on whether you have feelings for me Dominick ever since have been partners at the precinct. I have felt something during the time that there was feelings from you and of course with me. Even though I have been scared to opened my heart to anyone ever since getting hurt." She cried out ...

"Look I don't to intend to do so with hurting you ever Amanda Rollins. I know this is not easy for me to say as well. But I do love you with all my heart." He said with pulling out the engagement from his jacket to not really surprised her at all. He opened it up to reveal the diamond sapphire engagement ring ... "Amanda will you marry me with all of my heart and soul?" He placed the ring onto her finger as she was overwhelmed with seeing the ring on her finger and a man that she is in love with...

"OMG I will Dominick." She moves into him to give him the most passionate kiss ever...And before she knew it Dominick had lifted her up into his arms to bring her to the bedroom to have sex. He didn't know what to expect since they were partner accept this way.

"Don't worry Dominick I am on the pill and a IUD to prevent getting pregnant." She stated with another kiss to his cheek before he laid her on top of the blue spread.

He was able to help her feeling slightly off balance from the wine to remove her clothing as with his. They both were nervous going this far with the sexual act itself. They will be talking further for when it comes to their future.

He woke to watch her sleeping features after a while ago having great sex between the both of them. There were no more barriers between them. He was happy for the first time in his life. Even though he had have girlfriends over the years. But they never lasted because of his job with the precinct and the unit for SVU. This was a special group working hard all of the time.

She opened her eyes to find him watching her. She said the following. "HEY! Did I tell you that I love you as with this ring?"
