Chapter Seventeen – The Christmas Party Planners

DX Inc, Stamford, Connecticut, 2pm EST

Christmas was a week and a half away and DX were busy preparing for their meeting with Becky Lynch that was scheduled for tomorrow morning. The DX Christmas Party was going to be even better if Becky Lynch agreed to come back to the locker room, not that DX had even told the locker room that they were planning on re-signing her. No-one in the locker room even knew that Becky Lynch was interested in coming back to wrestling, the only thing being discussed today was the Christmas Party that was being planned by Team Big Dog Bliss. Alexa Bliss and Roman Reigns were working together to make this the best Christmas Party ever. For some reason Roman was taking care of all the men in the locker room and Alexa was taking care of all the women, it just ended up that way it certainly wasn't intentional to divide the party guests up by gender. The women noticed that Alexa Bliss was a little bigger than the last time they saw her, knowing how precious she was about her weight they decided to ask her what was going on.

"Why are you eating all those Oreo's?" Nia Jax asked her concerned as Alexa handed out party invitations with one hand and stuffed Oreo's into her mouth with the other.

"I'm proving Seth Rollins wrong," Bliss replied and Nia Jax exchanged glances with Asuka.

"I don't know Seth that well but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be responsible for you stuffing your face with Oreo's," Nia Jax replied.

"I'm trying to put on weight," Alexa Bliss said while measuring all the women for their Christmas sweaters.

"Why?" Asuka asked her with her arms up so Bliss could take her measurements. Bliss was having each sweater especially made for the female Superstars and she wanted to make sure they fit perfectly for the Christmas photo.

"Let's just say I'm trying to prove my former mentor wrong about AJ Styles, my fiance and future husband AJ Styles that is," Alexa Bliss said and Ruby Riott pursed her lips.

"Again, what does that have to do with you stuffing your face full of unhealthy candy treats?" she asked also concerned. The NXT wrestlers were fully aware of Alexa's history of bulimia and to see her stuffing her face with Oreo's set off alarm bells to the NXT alumni.

"Guys enough I know what I'm doing. Ruby put your arms up so I can take your measurements please," Alexa said and Ruby raised her arms reluctantly exchanging concerned glances with Nia, Asuka and Liv Morgan.

"I think I'll ask Seth what the Hell is going on," Nia said and she walked over to Roman Reigns who was taking head measurements for Bliss' personalised Santa hats. "Cus where's your boyfriend?" she asked Roman who had a tape measure wrapped around Cedric Alexander's head.

"If you're talking about Seth, he's not my boyfriend, he's my lil' brother and he's with Bianca and the Street Profits. They're picking up the Christmas presents I ordered, why do you want to speak to him?" Roman asked.

"I want to ask him why Alexa Bliss is stuffing her face with Oreo's," Nia Jax said and Roman looked at his cousin horrified.

"Not the Christmas Oreo's I made especially for the party?!" Roman asked in shock but Nia calmed him down.

"No, the Christmas Oreo's are safe. I hid them for you," Nia assured her cousin who took a deep breath of relief. "These are normal Oreo's, Alexa's eaten like two dozen of them and she's got a history of bulimia. She said she's trying to prove Seth wrong, do you know what she's talking about?"

Roman shook her head, "No but I'll ask Seth and get back to you. Why would Alexa be stuffing her face with Oreo's? She's getting married next week," he said.

"Exactly, I just want to get to the bottom of this before AJ Styles sees a side of Lexi none of us want to see again," Nia said and Roman nodded.

"Don't worry I'll talk to Seth, he should be back soon," Roman said and his cell-phone rang. It was Bianca Belair, "Hey Braid, thanks for getting back to me. So you're alright with the song I chose for you to sing at the Christmas Party?"

Downtown Greenwich, Connecticut

Seth and the Street Profits were loading all of the pre-ordered Christmas presents into the back of Bianca Belair's thunderbird while the Madamoiselle of Muscle talked to Roman Reigns on the phone.

"No Roman I am not happy about the song you chose for me to sing at the Christmas Party. First of all I'm not a singer, I'm a freakin' beast! Why don't you ask JoJo Wyatt to sing at the party? Her voice is beautiful plus she doesn't have an image like mine to maintain," Bianca protested.

"You got a great voice Bianca, plus I already ran it by DX and they love it. So that settles it, you're singing "All I Want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey," Roman said and Bianca Belair screamed in frustration causing her husband to look up as Seth and Angelo stuffed the presents into Belair's hot red Thunderbird.

"I don't want to sing Mariah Carey!" Bianca protested but she couldn't get Roman to change his mind.

"Its my party and I said you're singing the song, now where's Seth? I need to ask him something about Alexa Bliss," Roman said while Belair pouted in frustration.

"What do you want to know about Alexa?" she asked Roman as Montez came over to check on her.

"Are you okay?" he asked her and she nodded that she was fine. Montez caressed her waist and kissed her neck lovingly. She giggled.

"What was that?" Roman asked her.

"Nothing my husband is just making out with me," Bianca said.

"Aw that's cute, Seth could learn from you guys. Speaking of Seth, can you put him on the phone for a sec?" Roman said while measuring Bobby Lashley's head for his Santa hat.

"Just talk to me Roman, your boyfriend's busy stuffing presents into the back of my car with Angelo," Bianca said as Montez peppered her neck with light kisses much to the Maiden of Muscle's afternoon delight.

"My cousin Nia's worried about Alexa. She thinks she might be going through another bout of bulimia. She's eating all these Oreo's and that's not like her, she's really particular about what she eats and I think the girls are getting worried that AJ Styles might be in for a shock on his wedding day," Roman said and gems in Bianca's hair alighted.

"Alexa's trying to get fat on purpose," she said as God began to reveal secrets about Alexa Bliss to her.

"Why would she do that?" Roman asked furrowing his brow. "How is she going to fit into her wedding dress if she puts on weight?"

"She wants to prove to Seth that AJ Styles will marry her no matter what size she is. She's not bulimic, this is not a relapse, she's just trying to prove that AJ Styles loves her for who she is, not for her body," Bianca revealed and Roman nodded.

"Okay I get it, so she doesn't have an eating disorder?" Roman asked.

"No," Bianca replied.

"Great I'll tell Nia and the girls they've got nothing to worry about," Roman said.

"I didn't say there was nothing to worry about. Maybe you should talk to your boyfriend, he knows Alexa better than I do," Bianca said.

"Seth is not my boyfriend!" Roman said and Bianca laughed at him.

"I heard you two were hugging it up real good in New York," Bianca teased him. "Hang on I'll get him for you,"

"No nevermind, just tell him I love him – I mean, that I really like him as a friend," Roman said and Bianca nodded.

"Will do – Seth?" Bianca called to her mentor who hi-fived Angelo after getting the last present into the back of her Thunderbird.

"What is it?" Seth asked her with a smile as Montez continued to fawn over his wife.

"Roman said he really likes you as a friend and he also wants to talk to you about Alexa Bliss," Bianca said handing Seth her cell-phone before making out with her husband with two free hands.

"Just a friend? Wow, that's a real blow to my ego," Seth said and the Street Profits shared a laugh with Bianca who tried to figure out how they were all going to fit in her car on the way back to DX Inc. "I thought we were more than friends Roman, did our hug mean nothing to you at all?"

Roman blushed on the other end of the phone, "Knock it off Seth, you know that hug meant everything to me. This is about Alexa, is there anything going on with her?"

"Yeah she thinks AJ Styles is in love with her and he isn't. He's in love with her body and if her body changes in anyway, his so-called love for her will disappear like a cloud in summer," Seth replied watching as Bianca started to rearrange all the presents so he would have somewhere to sit.

"So she is trying to prove a point; she's trying to prove you wrong by eating herself fat thinking that AJ will still marry her," Roman said. "Seth that is a dangerous thing to prove a week and a half before a wedding. Why didn't you talk her out of it?"

"I did at first but then I realised she's right. If AJ is only interested in her body its better she find out now then before its too late, right?" Seth said. "I mean I'm not crazy about the way she's going about it but I guess that's something we're all going to have to deal with after he dumps her,"

Roman couldn't believe what he was hearing and he went to a less occupied part of the room so no-one could overhear his conversation with Seth, "So you're saying AJ is going to bail before the wedding?"

"Yeah, he won't marry a fat chick," Seth said with certainty.

"So then why is Alexa trying to put on weight if he doesn't like fat chicks?" Roman asked confused.

"Because in her twisted lil' mind, Alexa Bliss is a fat chick. She's post bulimic, she doesn't throw up anymore but she still sees herself as fat on the inside. She thinks that AJ Styles sees her for who she is but he doesn't. She can't marry a guy that only likes her for her looks," Seth explained and Roman nodded.

"So how is she going to take it when AJ breaks off the marriage?" Roman said and he looked back at Alexa concerned. "If she keeps eating the way she's eating, she's going to be as big as a house next week. It seems so self-destructive,"

Seth stayed silent. He deeply regretted how Alexa Bliss was handling things and he knew that the fallout from next week was going to be ugly, "Roman all Alexa Bliss has to look forward to is the Christmas Party, so do me a favour and don't worry about the wedding, just focus on being the best co-host you can be and let me worry about Alexa and AJ okay?" he said directly.

"Well that is your job Prayer Warrior. You got it, I'll leave things in your big capable hands God boy," Roman said. "I really like you Seth,"

"I really like you too Roman," Seth replied and he gave Bianca her phone back and she took it from him noting the troubled look on Seth's face.

"Next time you give Alexa Bliss advice, make sure I'm in the room with you," she told Seth wisely.

Seth pulled his hand over his face and took a deep breath, "I've been screwing up so much lately, this isn't like me. I think this thing with Roman and Sasha is starting to affect my ability to hear God clearly," he said to Bianca who squeezed his shoulders supportively.

"That's why God assigned me to you, if you don't use me you'll keep making these mistakes. How many more fires are you going to start because you're not thinking straight? I'm your fire engine, use me Seth before someone else gets seriously hurt by that stupid mouth of yours," Bianca replied and the Prayer Warrior nodded knowing he made a terrible mistake, one that he would pay for by the end of next week.
