"President Raiko what's your decision"

"Well Avatar thanks to the overwhelming evidence you've presented to me I've decided to call a meeting with the fire nation"

"That's great"

"I doubt the fire lord will go for it but I want to first strike Kuvira"

"That's bold for you"

"Well I have no choice, defending hasn't worked in the past and it won't work now"

"We need information before mounting any sort of attack" Lin said

"Especially since Bolins helping them they know every move where going to make"

"Well information isn't just going to fall out of the sky"

"MR.PRESIDENT EARTH EMPIRE PLANE INBOUND" General Iroh said crashing through the door

"What"

We all ran outside and were greeted by the sight of fire-benders manning the turrets on there battleships. And looking up I could see plane coming in with a large smoke stack behind it.

"Is it Bolin, maybe he's trying to defect" said Opal

"Well whoever it is there coming in fast"

"President should I fire"

"No if it was a attack they would've brought ten times more"

Suddenly the plane took a sharp dive into the water. Water benders lifted the plane up and placed it on the docks. Medics ran over to see if they need medical attention.

"IT'S ASAMI" screamed a medic

Huh asami finally, I hope she's not hurt

We all run over as we get to her I see her leaning up against the recked the plan.

"ASAMI" I ran to her and hugged her

"I missed you"

"Missed you two"

"I hate to break up the reunion but we need a briefing, do you know what Kuvira is planing"

"Lin she just got back give her some space"

"No she's right, Bolin and Kuvira are on there way to attack the Fire Nation"

BOLIN POV

We arrived by airship to the fire nation royal palace. On our way to see Fire Lord Izumi and apparently she doesn't like us. The rest of the fleet is waiting near by the aircraft will be coming in soon to destroy the fleet. Then the United Republic will be open to invasion.

We entered the large chamber where the fire nation high command as well as advisors where. And at the back behind a small wall of flames just high enough to see her face sat the fire lord. She probably doesn't do the towering wall of fire to try to present a more loving but confident presence. Something the fire nation needed after the 100 year war.

"Why have you come here, we do not recognize your regime as a nation"

"We're hoping to change that"

"Meet my right hand Bolin, together I believe we can open up both our nations to trade"

"The fire nation has no need for earth kingdom metal"

"What about food, the earth empire grows most of the worlds supply and we have stopped trade with each other"

"Fire Lord Izumi please just considered our offer and both our nation will benefit greatly"

"You I thought you worked with the Avatar not this tyrant"

"As if your any better"

"IM SORRY I BELIEVE YOU MISS SPOKE"

"Three previous fire lords were allowed to wreak havoc on the world and the nation went along with it. You have supreme power and are not accountable"

"Your nation will starve should you not accept this deal"

"PROTECT THE FIRE LORD" imperial fire bender busted in and lined in front of her.

"What's going on"

"We just received word from republic city, there here to attack us"

"Oh well that's un lucky"

Just then Mechs crashed through the roof followed by metal benders repelling in.

"Fire Lord Izumi stand down and I will call off the attack on the city and fleet"

"My military is more than capable of dealing with you thugs, I would be more worried about yourself"

"Your outnumbered and you may have learned from fire lord Zuko but make no mistake we will defeat you"

"Ha"

"Fools, you have no clue who I learned from"

Just then the fire in front of her turned blue and she shot a bolt of lighting causing a mech to explode.

"Troops deal with the fire benders me and Bolin will handle the Fire Lord"

Kuvira snot metal bands at her to which she quickly dodged. Izumi shoots blue fire narrowly missing Kuvira who counter attacks with more metal bands. This time they hit her arm and she was thrown back into her thrown. The speed caused her to smack her head on the thrown. With that she was unconscious, I on the other hand was using lava bending to fighting off her guards.

One made a fire whip and hit my back. WHOOOAAAA it hurt, I almost feel bad for asami now. I also create a lava whip and hit him. His armor absorbs the blow but he get a thrown to the floor and is out for the count. I turn around and turn a large portion of the floor into Lava. I sent it at the fire benders, terrified seeing this new form of bending they fled. There guards really are incompetent.

"Take the fire lord onto the airship"

"We should just end her now throw the nation into chaos, let them feel what we felt"

"No Bolin, with her we have leverage, the fire nation won't dare move on us"

"The united forces is venerable"

"Yes it is, let's go see how the attack is going"

We walk out of the fire nation palace together, you didn't have to go very far to see the damage. Planes from the aircraft carrier had sunk most of the first fleet. The corpses of the ships littered the water. Now the troop transports are coming to take the city.

"Beautiful sight isn't it"

"Sure is"

KORRA POV

We all were gathered around the radio operator waiting for news.

"How's asami doing Korra"

"She's doing better but she has horrible burns from Bolins Lava, she might be out of the fight for a bit"

"Bolins Lava, what"

"Opal you have to accept the fact that bolin is gone"

"But he gave us the location of my family"

"He had a moment of weakness"

"He helped us"

"He torturereed asami into helping them make weapons"

A long pause ensued as Opal process the information

"Hello does anyone read me"

"This is President Raiko what's going on over there"

"They attacked...fleet destroyed...Fire lo...repeat the fire lor..."

"Say again your breaking up, where is fire lord Izumi"

"She's been captured"

"No" I said

"Someone should tell Iroh"

"Can we expect your support"

"The high command is in chaos right now and the first fleet has been destroyed, nobody knows who's in charge, the fire nation is out of this fight"

"Understood"

"Good luck and stop Kuvira"

Everybody looked around as we realized just how outmatched we are.

"So what now" I asked

"We prepare for her attack and try our best to win"

"We've never faced a whole army before anybody have any ideas"

"I do"

We all looked over to the door. Asami was standing in the door frame, she looked tired but had a fire in her eyes like she wanted revenge.

"I know a way we just might be able to win"
