Title: Irritating Tick
The gang had now traveled to Yellowstone National Park, both for sight seeing and camping. Grandpa Max had finished setting up the RV, and walked up to the creak with Alice. "Man, it's relaxing to be in the peace and quiet of the great outdoors don't you think?"
Alex had been following them, with his headphones plugged into his recently bought phone. [Astronomers at Mount Hamilton had caught a glimpse at a small meteor at the north west part of the state]
"Kinda wished we stopped at that Burger place in Casper," Alex said scratching his neck.
"Oh c'mon Alex, Yellowstone just so happens to be the coolest place around. Just hang out," Alice said flipping Alex's hoodie up.
"Alice's right, and we can life right off the land." Max said as he rolled over a log, showing hundreds grub worms. He picked one up and smiled. "Full of protein," Max said as he dropped one into his mouth.
"Do what do you want?" Alex asked turning to Alice who looked utterly disgusted. Although they did find out Max's whole cooking was mainly extraterrestrial in origin, they just... didn't like it.
"I'll take mine with Chili.", Alice said as Alex nodded, he activated the Omnitrix, turned the dial around and without looking slammed down.
Now then, what he wanted to turn into was Rush, but had turned into a new one. Well the first new one since he got Power Grid. "What the- oh shit!" A deeper voice said as a loud thud was heard as he fell to the ground.
This new alien is a hulking, broad-shouldered alien covered in natural, yellow armor plating on his back, shoulders, and the backs of his arms. He is mostly white with black on his upper half and has four claws on both of his hands. With sharp teeth, yellow eyes, and wore the Omnitrix emblem on his forehead. Immediately the knowledge of this aliens instincts were downloaded into Alex. "Oh great, after a good week and three days I finally get a new alien, and it's this thing."
"Quite the heroic pose.", Alice said mockingly, earning an eye roll from Alex.
"Shut the fuck up.", Alex barked out annoyed as Max helped him stand up. "Oh great, and this alien mainly just rolls into a ball to protect itself. Nice." He said sarcastically.
"You're an Arburian Pelarota, gotta say, their planet is pretty well known for being a vacation planet. I should take you two there some day," Max said smiling.
"Real great and all, but how the hell am I supposed to use this one?", Alex said as rolling into a ball was a defense mechanism.
All of a sudden, a meteor flies overhead and crashes a short distance away. "Move it!" Alice said as she and Max moved out of the way, however Alex turns in the direction of the crash and falls over again. "Oh great, well let's check it out." Alex said as he rolled up into a ball, with his backplates and the plates on his hands covering him. His sphere form has semi-circular stripes across his body, with black lines around the circular plates, and his side plates are the plates on his shoulders and begins rolling towards the crash site.
"Well bright side is he's heading for the direction of the crash site.", Max said as he and his granddaughter chased after the new form Alex took.
At the crash site, the meteor begins to crack apart as the three arrive, with Alex unrolling and falling to his ass. "Woah; that things massive." Alex said getting up before a tremor occurred, causing him to fall over again.
Suddenly, the large red like shell started to crack, before a large bluish bug-like leg reached out. The three ran away, well two ran one rolled, from it as it sunk its leg into the ground. More did the same, the shell completely cracked, showing a large, tick like alien with four blue organs on each side, expelling gas.
"And quite possibly a dickhead to any bathrooms.", Max said covering his nose.
A ship arrives shortly after and three aliens exit the ship riding platforms that fly through the use of an energy ball positioned directly below them. The first is a tall, pale-skinned alien with six tentacle-like feet. The second is shorter with six arms and yellow skin. The final alien is of medium height, has four eyestalks, and carries a large ax. "Rejoice, he has arrived in all his glory." He said as the three floated over to them.
The yellow one 'Six Arm' or 'the Interpreter' floated right in front of the tick. "I shall await his proclamation," he said as he pressed up his head against its publish shell.
"Who are you guys?" Max asked cocking an eyebrow.
"You should not panic for we are not here for violence, only for peace.", the Leader said with a peaceful tone.
"Oh yeah, like we haven't heard that shit before.", Alice said crossing her arms.
"Mmm, an Earthling with an attitude. I've heard they exist here in large numbers, or should I say did?" The Enforcer Alien said floating past them.
"Along with an Arburian Pelarota to boot.", the Leader said, slightly intrigued. "His presence here must be a sign provided the Great one, is he not tremendous?" The leader said referring to the large tick like alien.
"All hail The Tremendous Great One!" All three of them said, sounding like a cult.
"But you're quite a ways from home, aren't you?" The Enforcer said, not even looking the slightest bit interested, more annoyed than anything really.
"Actually, a lot closer than you might think." Alex said with a shrug.
"Unfortunately there is nothing to go back to, The Great One purified your planet last week.", The Enforcer said before being shushed.
"Be silent, he is speaking to me.", the interpreter said, ecstatic that it was speaking, although the others didn't hear anything. "The Great One says your planet shall be purified before the next moon, you are quite lucky." He said as suddenly, the ground started turning darker , along with the surrounding area.
"Quite the experience it is. Let me show you.", the leader said as the Enforcer just groaned.
"Not the audio visual thing again. Seriously, why not just say it instead?" The enforcer said genuinely annoyed.
Regardless, a purple beam shot out of his forehead, showing a holographic planet. "We've followed the Great One from Planet to Planet, galaxy to galaxy after he paid a visit to each and every one of our planet."
The hologram showed the Great One sitting on top of a random area, spreading its limbs deep into the crust. "Notice the technique of the deep borrowing into the planet, rotting it from the inside and ingesting it." He said as the planet turned to black before exploding. "Your cities will be laid to waste, your oceans will be dried up, your mountains will crumble."
"It will be the end of the world as you say.", the Enforcer said with a nod.
"Rejoice!" The three of them said in sync.
"That so?" Alex said as he slapped the Omnitrix, and transformed into Rush, rushing at him before being smacked right into the forest by the Enforcer.
"Alex!" Max and Alice yelled out as the two ran after him.
"Shit, with this velocity Imma pop my spine in the wrong direction" Rush had taken notice of his new forms durability, and transformed back into it, rolling into a ball and started bouncing off the trees. Eventually, Max and Alice had been tackled by this new form, before being sent down a hill, with the Omnitrix finally timing out.
They all dropped back down to solid ground as Alex adjusted his glasses. "Great, I get a new alien and all he does is roll around." He said shaking his head. "But we've got bigger issues to worry about." He said getting up, pointing to the trees.
By this point, the Great One has poisoned much of Yellowstone, converting the landscape into a decayed wasteland with the trees turning into strange flesh like sacks. "We gotta get back up that hill and destroy it before it destroys us." Throughout Max's entire career, he had never met something like this.
Using his mechanical arm, he shit out his hand and used it to grab the hill, "Let's go." Max said as the two hopped onto him, the three were lifted up by the it, and finally reached the top in about a minute.
"Okay... that's kinda wicked.", Alex said as he climbed up and helped Alice up, while Max hauled himself up, and reattach his hand.
What Alex was referring to were several grey tentacles whipping around. Before they could think, the tentacles grabbed them and started to wrap them up, and starts to drag them underground.
"Dammit! Alex turn into something!" Alice snapped looking at Alex who struggled to reach the Omnitrix.
"I'm workin on it!" Alex said as the Omnitrix had timed in, right as he was dragged underneath. A green flash erupted as a blur exploded out of the ground.
Alex had done another Parasyte infused alien, this one being Mach Manta. Who was now a maroon color, with purple patagia, his wings had become much larger, along with his body. He had a longer tail, along with a purple face crest now stretching into devil horns and a mouth with a longe tongue, with big green eyes. The Omnitrix now on his chest.
"Going up!", Stingray said as he used his large feet to pick them up and pull them out of the ground, then started flying off. The tentacles tried to grab them again, but Alex turned his entire head around and shot out powerful beams from his eyes before turning his head back around.
As he flies them over the park, he dips and dodges around the tentacles, before using his massive wings to sent out a powerful gust of wind.
"What was that?", The Enforcer Alien said, in the distance, Old Faithful had turned into what looked like a giant zit ready to pop.
"It appears part of this planet is about to be liberated.", the Leader said with a nod.
"Yes... yes... yes. I understand.", the interpreter said as he turned to his comrades. "He wishes us to see the effects of his greatness. And to witness his supreme and ultimate power." He said; as in response, they flew off.
Max looked around the deformed forest disgusted. They had heard a loud sound, resembling that of a beat of a drum. "Sounds like Old Faithful is ready to blow... and I don't know what that things poison could do once it does."
"One detour coming up!", Stingray said as he turned and flew off to Old Faithful, which didn't take too long considering his augmented speed.
The leader along with his comrades floated above the giant zit, waiting patiently. "I have facial recognition of the elderly man and the prepubescent female, but what are they riding on?"
"Move it dipshits.", Stingray said as he flew past them. "We'd rather not have our planet destroyed," he said with a grin, before spitting out a mass of black substance, which covered the hole of Old Faithful, before Stingray turned and flew off.
However, he didn't go straight to the tick, he just placed Max and Alice down to the ground behind some sharp rocks. "What are you doing Alex?" Max said looking up to him.
"Flying solo.", Alex said as he took to the sky, using his wingspan, he created another gust of wind which sent the Enforcer spinning around before he could attack.
"Get him!", Enforcer said as they sped off after him, but they lost sight of him, they looked around and at each other. "Where did the Klyntar and Areophibian hybrid run off too?"
"Right here!" A red flash exploded from sky as Alex dropped down and lands on the yellow worshiper's platform, knocking him off of it. The yellow worshiper survives the fall, landing on the softened ground below. "This feels like riding Tetrax's hoverboard.", Alex noted as he was quickly got the hang of it and sped off towards the zit.
The Enforcer and Leader sped off and caught up to him quickly. The axe and forehead gem glowing brightly, Alex simply smirked and flew straight up, causing them to fire at each other's platform. "Watch it!"
"Missed me dipshits!", Alex said mockingly, dodging these energy slashed from the Enforcers axe and energy blasts from the leader. "Comin in for landing!" Alex said as he flew right above the zit, and propelled himself right into the air, causing the worshippers to crash into Old Faithful.
"Get us out!" The Enforcer tried combing up from the strange black substance, which wasn't even alive.
"Never seen something like that in a while," Max said as Alex had arrived in front of them.
"Need a lift?" Alex cocked an eyebrow. The two get on and fly off to the Great One... which had gotten substantially larger.
Max scratched his chin. "It's getting even bigger as it feeds," the veteran said as Alex just cocked an eyebrow.
"Then I guess I'll give him a new diet.", Alex said, slamming on the now recharged Omnitrix and transformed into Strongarm. Using his fifteen minutes, he had attempted to beat the thing down until it died... before he was slapped back by one of its limbs.
The Omnitrix luckily timed out after that, showing Alex looking a little disoriented. "Feels like Vilgax tackled me into a truck.", Alex said as he jumped back up. "One down, ten to go."
One after another Alex's Aliens didn't do much. As Hotshot, he used his flames to try and melt it, only for it to be fire proof. With Spidermonkey; he tried to yank his legs out with his webs; before he was smacked away. Kracklsacean he tried to electrocute it to death. As Mach Manta, he tried using his neuroshock blast to go through, which failed. As Rush, he tried to rush it, which failed. As Cold Soar, he tried to freeze its limbs to break it off but it smacked him away. As Diamondbreaker, he attempted to use a diamond construct to lift it out, which failed. As Parasyte he tried to bond with it to move it away, but was too big for his limited biomass. As Circuit Breaker he tried to use an optic beam to blast through it, which also didn't work. And last but not least, Power Grid tried to shock it to death, which also didn't work..
Alex panted, taking a knee and cleaning his glasses. "Okay, this thing may or may not be indestructible.", he said before coughing, suddenly, a purple dome surrounded them.
"It's time for the final purification of your planet, and you three along with it.", the enforcer said, they had arrived, much more irritated than before.
The entire landscape had turned to a pale color, the trees and tentacles from before had decayed and turned into dust. The three of them were let go, and handed sponges. "Before the Great One can cleanse your planet forever, he must be cleanse," he said referring to the giant alien.
"He says; he missed us! It's not our fault Great One, please forgive us!", The Interpreter said as he and his brethren took a bow for forgiveness.
The three had gone to work scrubbing the blue substance, which also had some bugs. The remaining vegetation had turned into dust by then. "We're running out of time."
"I know, I just need an opening to use that... Arburian Pelarota thing." Alex said grimacing as he had just bought the jacket not even two days ago.
As the three clean the Great One, it begins to shed,... no, transform, revealing a yellow shell underneath its reddish exterior. Several large, purple pores also push their way out of the shell, spitting acid at random intervals. The falling pieces of shell almost crush Alex, Alice and Max. "His beauty..."
"His Power"
"His puss."
"The End is Upon us!!"
Alex smirked as he had been given the opportunity, he activated the Omnitrix and turned into his Arburian Pelarota form again. "Destroy them!" The Leader said as he started firing at them, Alex managed to dodge it as he rolled into a ball and sped off.
Max noticed something as he and Alice ran off... the scales had looked barely damaged by the beam. "Pick up the scales!" Max urged his granddaughter as he they ran and picked up large chunks of the shell. Right as the Enforcer slashed at them.
The shell pieces work well, blocking the lasers and the acid releases from the Great One, but they are eventually trapped in a pit made by the acid. Before the last bit of land was covered, Max and Alice had leapt away and started running, before being trapped onto a little pillar.
The leader was about to blast them once again, only to be sent flying by Alex. "STRIKE!" He roared out as he turned around. As the little pillar of as cracking, Alex leapt at Max and Alice, unrolling and grabbing them before rolling back up into a ball and landing somewhere safer.
Once again, Alex unrolled himself and smiled. "You're like a bowling ball!" Alice said as Alex scratched his chin.
"More like a dodgeball,", Dodgeball said with a smirk, before being sent flying back. However... the blast bounced for Alex harmlessly, so using this he managed to deflect every beam, and redirect the energy flash right back to the worshipers. "Hah, cool." he said as the ground started to crumble all around them, Max and Alice managed to run away, as Alex rolled off.
"YES! LET THE DIGESTION BEGIN!" The leader said as he and his comrades had gotten aboard their platforms again, praising the being they considered to be Divine.
"Oh just shut up!" Max said as he leapt up with all his old man strength and punched the Leader right off, taking his platform.
With this, Dodgeball bounced off the rocky terrain, and rolled right in front of the tick, unrolling and looking serious. "The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Let's see how you like it.", Dodgeball rolled back up and bounced off the terrain again and right into the Great Ones giant pores, as it started sucking in things.
With this, Alex bounced off around its giant stomach before breaking free and bouncing around its internal organs, demolishing everything inside, destroying its ribcage and going right through its heart. On the outside, the Great Ones shell started to crack open, before exploding to reveal its bubbling flesh, on the inside, Alex had caused major internal bleeding, causing it to swell before exploding into purple blue slime.
"Oh gross," Alice almost threw up as she and Max blocked the rain of sludge with the scales.
"I'M ALIIIIIVEEEEEEEEE!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!" Dodgeball exploded out of a the blue sludge. "Also, I need a shower after that."
"Nothing... the great one has been silenced forever..." the interpreter said scratching his head nervously.
"You destroyed him!" The leader floated to Dodgeball and smiled. "All hail to the new Great One!"
"Hail! Hail!/At least I don't have to scrub it anymore."
Using his remaining few minutes, Dodgeball looked up to them, and then to his Omnitrix, slamming down and reverting to normal. "Might wanna look for some new religion."
"Oh right... an underdeveloped human specimen," The Leader said as he and the enforcer floated off to their ship.
"Enjoy the rest of your day," the Interpreter said waving them goodbye and floating off into the ship, which took off into the sky.
"Huh," Alice looked around as the terrain quickly seemed to heal, all around the world in fact. "Looks like everything's back to normal."
"Ugh, I need a shower," Alex said taking off his slime covered glasses.
