Chapter Fifteen: I Can Fix It

Since sleeping was clearly not an option, Felix and Calhoun tried to find a new way to calm down the rambunctious group of racers, while still being kind to them. They didn't even bother to fix the apartment this time. After pulling some strings, Felix was able to get his hands on a T.V. set, thinking that this would shut them up.

"Alright kids," Felix kindly started, "What cartoon do you all want to watch?"

"I still don't think that we should be rewarding them like this?" Calhoun disapproved.

"Don't worry Honey Biscuit," Felix replied, "If there's one thing I know about the child attention span, is that cartoons are the easiest way of getting those *Felix started twitching* PRECIOUS! BUNDLES! OF! JOY! To be quiet and happy."

Calhoun just shrugged, wanting to see how this would go.

"So, what cartoon show will it be, kids?" Felix kindly asked.

Snowanna then grabbed the remote out of Felix's hand.

"Actually, I want to watch Dancing with the Stars." Snowanna said, as she started surfing through the channels.

But then, Minty took the remote from Snowanna.

"That's not fair." Minty complained, "We want to watch cartoons and I say we should watch some action cartoons."

Snowanna rolled her eyes, "You know, for apparently being one of the smartest of us, you sure are easily entertained."

Minty was offended.

"You wanna repeat that, Snow Cone Head."

"Gladly." Replied Snowanna, "I say that Candlehead is smarter than you. Now give me that remote."

Snowanna tried to grab the remote from Minty, but Minty would refuse to let go of it.

"LET GO!" Yelled Minty.

"GIVE IT UP!" Yelled Snowanna.

No one knew how to stop these two, so they all just watched in horror.

"This is actually more entertaining than the cartoons." Said Swizzle.

"It is." Agreed Gloyd, "But, I think I should probably put a stop to this."

"Well then, it was nice knowing ya pal." Said Swizzle.

Gloyd walked over to Snowanna and Minty, he then took the remote from them. And then, with his infinite wisdom, threw it at the T.V., destroying it.

"There." Gloyd said, feeling clever, "Now no one gets the T.V."

Everyone was puzzled.

"Well." Started Swizzle, "I was expecting him to do many things, but that was not even in the top twenty of the list."

Snowanna looked with murderous intent.

"Oh Snowanna, you're so adorable when you're mad." Gloyd complemented, while rubbing Snowanna's puffed up cheeks. (Bad Move).

"Okay now THAT was number one on the list." Called out Swizzle.

"Gloyd." Snowanna said, enraged, "I will use you as a dance floor."

"Well I wouldn't complain." Gloyd smugly replied.

But before Snowanna could strangle the life out of him, Felix just finished processing the smashed T.V. and remote. Felix clapped his hands once and got up, which caught the attention of all the racers. Felix then calmly walked to his and Calhoun's room and quietly closed the door behind himself.

Felix then proceeded to SCREAM on the top of his lung and yell in Q*bertese. He was also destroying things in the room. All the racers looked horrified, Gloyd looked like he was about to have a heart attack, since he knew that this was mostly his fault. Calhoun looked down at the racers with a look that just screamed, 'you all should've seen this coming'.

When Felix finally came out of the room, he seemed calm again. Felix looked at the racers and asked,

"So, what do you kids want to do now?"

"Help clean the apartment Mr. Felix." The racers all said in unison, pulling a bunch of cleaning supplies out of hammer space.

The racers then scrambled to parts of the apartment to clean and fix everything. Felix was smiling and Calhoun looked kinda scared of her husband's sudden freak out and mood swing.

"Do you feel better now?" Calhoun asked.

"A bit." Felix sighed.

NOTES: I know, this was a short one. Think of this chapter as the climax to this subplot, (Note, this subplot is not complete yet). So fun fact, in the original movie, the subplot (that WAS cut out), pretty much had the same outcome of Felix and Calhoun losing their minds on the racers. Obviously in my version, it's Felix that completely loses his instead of both, because I feel like Felix going against his usually kind personality is frankly, just hilarious. Anyway, next chapter we'll be seeing a cameo that we were promised in the original, but never got. Stay Tuned.
