Emma woke up when Regina grabbed her suddently. The tiny sheriff screamed in fear, grabbing Regina's fingers. She hated heights. Regina seemed to understand what was happening, because she put her quickly on the table, near the house and the little bed that she had moved from the shelf. She didn't appologize, she still seemed to be angry at her for falling into her soup. Well, it was a little more than that. She had been really scared, apparently, so now she wouldn't even talk to Emma because of that. Okay. And she was still in this state of mind, obviously. Emma walked on the counter, going towards a flower in a pot. It was bigger than her, but she grabbed it anyway, almost falling on her bottom because she lost her balance trying to lift it up and out of the pot. She groaned, and then she fell, but she had grabbed the flower successfully. Regina had left the room to get something, so she didn't scold her for that. Emma hid the flower behind the house, waiting for Regina to come back. Regina entered the kitchen again, holding a little book. Emma read the title « Our grandmothers' recipes ». Regina was going to do the lasagna. Emma took the flower, almost tripping on it on the way to her friend, stopping just in front of her.
Emma gave the flower to Regina :
- Regina, I appologize for scaring you earlier. I was reckless, as usual, and I could have died. I 'm really sorry for all that. And for the situation I put you in. Again. You shouldn't have to search for a solution for me like that. You should go and rest. I will look for a solution.
Emma went to the book Regina had given her, making it small with her magic to be able to move it. Then she took it, walking to the little house. She went it, leaving a dumbfounded Regina alone in the kitchen.
Regina still had the flower in her hand. What had just happened ? She tried to go look into the house, but even when she opened it, she couldn't find Emma. She must have hidden in a corner or behind the little plastic furniture. Regina gave up, after all Emma could search for a while too. Regina would go and rest. Because she didn't want to leave Emma and the house in the kitchen, she decided once again to teleport it in her room. She put everything on the bed, and she fell asleep right next to it.
In the house, Emma was looking in the book that started the situation. Where did she find the spell, again ? What page ? She'd just remembered that Regina once told her that the counter spell was supposed to be on the same page, or in the following pages, if there was one. The « if there was one » scared Emma. She didn't want to spend the rest of her life as big as a figurine ! She looked in the book, more studious than she ever was during Regina's classes. She didn't see the time pass, with the nose in the book. She was sitting behind the plastic couch of the horror house, just under a plastic ghost that lit up in the dark. She used it as a lamp, but she was pretty sure she was the only one who used it like that. Because there weren't many people who had her current size and lived in plastic houses like this, right ? She turned the page, and suddently, she got up, hitting the ghost and hurting her head in the process. She ignored the pain and went out of the house, jumping directly out of the window and landing on Regina's stomach.
