I walked throughout the elegant halls of the Cathedral, heading to the place where I would go up against Bercouli. Eydis had gone off somewhere, saying that she'll meet me soon before the match begins, which I didn't mind. I was guided through, or should I say escorted by one of the Cathedral guards, essentially being led to the training grounds preparation room.

Luckily it wasn't the guard that ticked me off in the beginning, as I was feeling ever so pumped-up, getting ready for the things to come.

"You will be staying here for the time being."

"Mmhm."

The guard clad in white armor opened the door for me as I walked into the room.

"Good luck, you're going to need it."

I turned back and spoke.

"In my experience, there's no such thing as luck."

The guard stared at me through his dark helmet, his face fully covered.

"...Huh. I guess you're not wrong."

I watched as the guard closed the door, leaving me in the room alone with my own devices. The closing of the door being the only audible sound, and the sounds of me, myself and I.

"Well, I guess everything here is high-class, even the preparation rooms are well-crafted."

I surveyed the area, it's contents essentially mirroring the theme of the Cathedral. I walked around a bit, getting a feel for the atmosphere of the room as I paced around its interior, it's exquisite insides glaring at me. A "low-class" Saiyan, a commoner, sitting in a room made for Integrity Knights. Not my cup of tea, to be honest, I preferred the humbleness of the abode back near Centoria.

"Alright, all I can do is basically wait now."

I sat alone in the highly-decorated room, it's contents furnished and well-made to a high degree. Gold and white walls lined the insides, along with a mixture of a nice mahogany brown and the colored-transparency of the window, indicating it's outside contents.

The blue sky showed itself vividly outside the glass, the warm sun flowing through the nicely-trimmed windows. The noises of the room were silent, the ever-so familiar booming quietness of pre-battle, like when I was beginning my match with Humbert.

I sat in my usual posture, with my arms crossed and my head bent down. I breathed in and out at a slow pace, noticing the inhalation of cool air, and exhaling a warmer climate breath. I meditated and focused on my ki, calming my nerves, and zoning my mind on the situation at hand, the situation that was going to arrive soon.

However, my insides were full of a raging passion. Nerves can either be your best friend or your worst enemy. For me, it was my best friend, used to the best of my ability. I won't lie at the fact that my insides felt like jumping out of myself due to excitement at just the pure thought of fighting the so-called "Top-Integrity Knight", one that's supposedly stronger than Eydis by her own words, with her already being quite powerful at that. And now that I actually am, my Saiyan blood boiled.

It boiled within me as it grew more and more, heightened with the clock in my inhabiting room ticking closer and closer to the upcoming bout and battle. It itched for the lust for battle, to celebrate and revel in a fight. It was innate, born within me, a Saiyan's constant ardor for a clash. Even though it was just a "sparring match" as Bercouli had deemed it, I treated every battle I had, as if it was a fight for life or death.

Speaking about Saiyan blood, after my match against Humbert, or the fight in the Frozen Peaks against those Goblins, as a matter of fact, I felt somewhat…different. No doubt I've gotten stronger and have improved substantially on my time here, but when it happened, I felt myself change. Not only in a physical sense, but also in a sense of battle-intellect, like my injuries were imprinted onto me.

My mind and body adapted to the said struggles, allowing my instinctual methods and natural resistance to improve, further preparing myself for the future battles to come, as well as making me stronger.

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, shame to the person who will drag your corpse into the very depths of the hell of whatever underground your end is, where you will reside there being sent by yours truly. I wonder where both Humbert and Raios are now...

I saw the door to my waiting room open, as Eydis stepped in and took a peek. She saw me and smiled, proceeding to enter the room and close the door, the sounds of her armor moving as she walked up next to my seated position.

"Choooo."

Eydis exhaled and unwinded in front of me, sitting in the same sort of manner I was in as she stared at me. My eyes were still closed, but I could still fill her stares penetrating me like two giant needles.

"Everyone's excited you know, for the match pitting you and Bercouli against each other."

My ears perked up.

"How did word spread so fast?"

Eydis grinned.

"You can thank me for that."

I couldn't help but crack a smile.

"The Knights also have a sense of sport. I like it." I thought to myself.

I questioned Eydis once more.

"And who's everyone?"

I opened my eyes, meeting Eydis's crimson look as she motioned outside.

"The other Integrity Knights. They got really riled up after what you did with Renly, thrashing him and what-not, essentially treating him like a rag-doll. Not only that, but you also accepted the invitation from Sir Bercouli with such conviction and confidence, that they're not only dumbfounded and in shock, but now even more intrigued. SIR BERCOULI, whose power outmatches everyone, second to none."

Eydis laughed.

"One does not simply walk into the Central Cathedral, throw around their guardians like they're nothing, and accept a challenge from their strongest one in a heartbeat."

I chuckled.

"But what if they are nothing?"

Eydis tried to stay serious, but I could tell she was keeping in a laugh.

"Well, Renly is… cowardly. But I can tell he's trying his best, he's extremely determined, especially shown when he just hurled a dagger to you out of nowhere."

I smiled back.

"The Integrity Knights as a whole have got a knack for fighting like I've noticed before it seems. I like it."

Eydis nodded.

"However… in terms of power, he's extremely…"

"Beta?"

Eydis looked up, as she then laughed and pointed at me.

"Yes, exactly!"

I cracked a laugh in response.

"At least we agree on something then."

I closed my eyes once more, envisioning Bercouli in my mind. He was muscular, tall, and looked like he had been through battles upon battles. The cuts, the bruises, the scars, and look on his face that spells veteran ship and battle experience… I ask myself if I'm really doing the smart thing here, and accepting a challenge from him.

But I know better than to think that nonsense. My Saiyan blood feasted on the opportunity to fight Bercouli, the opportunity to get stronger, and the opportunity to revel in this battle. And a Saiyan, never, EVER refuses a challenge when given one, no matter what it is.

When envisioning Renly, I see nothing but the King's son Tarble within him. Tch. Tarble and Renly are both the same when I think about it. Cowardly people of their group. An Integrity Knight who can't fight disgusts me, and a Saiyan who doesn't know how to fight either makes me vomit within myself.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you something as well."

I opened my eyes to see Eydis sitting in front of me once again.

"What?"

Eydis thought for a moment, then spoke.

"It's custom for the contestant to meet the spectators here if you didn't know that."

I bore a confused expression.

"Custom? What? Where? It's one that I've never heard of."

Eydis giggled.

"My customs."

"Oh."

Great, just what I needed, to meet even MORE Integrity Knights.

"I think you know what my answer is already going to be."

Eydis's face lit up.

"Really? You will?!"

I laughed.

"Ahahahah."

As I then looked at Eydis.

"No, you airhead. Of course not."

Eydis's face saddened.

"Pleaaaseee?"

Eydis pleaded with a soft-like voice as I still stayed adamant in my decision, keeping my eyes shut now.

"No."

I opened my eyes to a little degree as Eydis's face bore a puppy-like expression.

"Pleeaaasee?"

"No."

Eydis grabbed my hand with her soft skin and touch and she shook it.

"C'mon. You'll love them, I swear."

"No."

Eydis seemed to shake like a child not getting what they wanted as she stopped and thought for a moment.

"How about umm…"

She snapped her fingers as she then beamed at me.

"I'll tell you Sir Bercouli's secrets and fighting technique, to give you a better edge in the fight!"

I opened one eye.

"No. That would be unprideful, like cheating essentially. And plus, I want to see what he's made of."

Eydis groaned.

"There you go, once more with your pride."

Eydis looked down, as the room grew silent once more. Only the breathing of both of us was heard when she then snapped her fingers and lit up with joy.

"Ooh! I'll buy you your favorite Honey Pies at the Prancing Deer Cafe."

I could feel my stomach instantly ache at those words as my mouth started salivating.

"Grh…"

Eydis smugly grinned, looking and taking note of my expression as she leaned into me.

"You know you love them…"

I started to shake as Eydis cooed me once more.

"Shut up, idiot."

Eydis seemed to be taken aback a bit by these words, only motivating her more, however.

"Their delicious taste, their hot steamy texture, their exquisite smell…"

I looked away, moving my face away from her's.

"No…"

Eydis smiled smugly once more.

"C'mon…"

"Grh…"

I was near my tipping point, I could feel it in my belly.

"C' mo-"

I shot up suddenly, yelling at Eydis.

"Tch, FINE!"

I furiously sat back down, crossing my arms and looking away.

"But only after the fight, then I'll meet your stupid colleagues."

Eydis smiled as she leaned back, putting her arms behind her as support.

"Fine by me." She said with a grin.

I scoffed, still looking away.

"Whatever."

Some time had passed as the room grew silent once more, I peeked open an eye to see Eydis looking around, minding her own business.

"Why do you care for me so much?"

Eydis looked at me.

"Hmm?"

I opened both eyes now, looking at her.

"Why do you care for me so much?"

Eydis blinked a bit as her face got a tad bit red, as she laughed at my question.

"Of course I care for you, you're my student after all!" Eydis cheered back.

I chuckled in response.

"You're always talking about that."

Eydis pointed back at me.

"Just like you and your pride."

I chuckled once more.

"Yeah, yeah. But a Saiyan's pride is everything."

"And so are you, my student."

I stopped as I looked at Eydis's face as it got extremely red, resembling a tomato.

"Hrngh…"

Eydis closed her eyes tightly as I looked on with a confused expression.

"Your face is-

She suddenly pounced up and butted her forehead to mine as our eyes were just mere inches away from each other.

"And because you're my student, you better not lose, okay?!"

She pressed a finger against my heart as I felt a bit lost for words at the sudden maneuver.

"Y-yeah. Okay."

Eydis grinned as she gave me a head pat.

"Good."

I watched with a still baffled expression as she stood up and headed to the exit, opening the door and looking back.

"Then I believe that you won't fail me."

She closed the door as I heard her exhale loudly.

"Why do I have such a soft spot for Peter? Could it be… that in Heaven… that I had a little sibling like him? Or… a student of some sort?"

I then heard her laugh loudly.

"Hahaha! What a crazy idea. But I can't believe I just did that!"

Eydis squealed like she couldn't contain herself, as I heard her iron-clad footsteps get quieter and quieter. My eyes were still fixated on the door, still taken aback a bit from her gesture.

"Honestly, her fieriness… it's something else."

I looked away from the door and recomposed myself as I concentrated and focused on the match at hand.

"Don't worry Knight, the last thing a Saiyan does is lose."

The ticking of the inside clock grew nearer, as I fidgeted and waited.

The ambiance of pre-battle.

The excitement of fighting.

The lust for battle.

The hunger for opponents.

It's all cultivated within me, peaking to its highs as the door to the training grounds swung open, a guard poking his head through into the room.

"You ready?"

I opened my eyes as I jumped up, shaking myself, and getting my blood flowing as I stretched and got myself ready.

"Yeah, I'm ready."

The guard nodded as I walked through the entrance of the door, peering out from the end of the tunnel was the light from the outside, the guard nodding and pointing.

"Remember, in your experience, there's no such thing as luck.

I looked at him, smiling and nodding as I walked towards the exit of the hallway.

"No such thing as luck, only my strength and training."

My footsteps rang throughout the hallway, as I walked towards the lighted exit.

"Woah…"

The arena was vast, the description of "massive" being a little bit of an understatement. The blue sky showed over us as the sun waned and brought down its fluorescent light upon the battlefield. The white puffy clouds flew overhead, providing the occasional shade to the beating of the hot star.

I looked around, noticing the various other Integrity Knights seated in the stands. They ranged from all colors, purple, white, red, an injured green one, a silver-

"Let's go, Peter!" Eydis cheered as she clapped her hands through the silence.

Well, there you go.

The other Knights finished staring at Eydis's cheery radiance as they fixed their eyes upon me, penetrating me with their glares and stares as murmurs broke out throughout the crowd.

"Who is he?"

"What's with the tail and spiky hair?"

"Is he an animal? Did a human cross-breed with a beast?"

"Is he even from here?"

"He's asking for a death-wish, going up against Sir Bercouli."

I invited the questions and curiosity as I stood on one side of the arena, the cool air blowing past me as my tail, hair, and gi swayed with the direction of the wind. I looked to see Eydis peer to me as she gave me a thumbs-up along with a smile.

"I believe in you." Eydis mouthed with a wink.

I nodded as I looked to the other side, peering over as I saw the doors open, and seeing Bercouli stand on the other side of my place.

"Oh? So you did show up." Bercouli said with a smile.

He hoisted a gigantic looking sword over his shoulder as he looked at me and smiled. I smirked back as I spoke from the other side.

"Just your gi huh? I like your style!" I said.

Bercouli laughed as he pointed to me.

"Of course! Why would I wear my armor to beat a runt like you? I'd just be wasting its durability."

"Ho? Is that it then?"

I tightened my fist as I clenched it.

"Then I'll make you regret your decision."

Bercouli laughed as he continued to look at me.

"Big pride, coming from someone less than half my age!"

"Like I said, I'm a Saiyan, and a Saiyan's pride is unrivaled."

Bercouli exhaled as he smiled.

"Then let's get this match on then."

Bercouli looked to the side as he gestured for someone to come.

"Sheyta, will you be our witness?"

A female Integrity Knight clad in grey armor came onto the battlefield, speaking as the crowd and contestants were eager for the match to begin.

"The match between Sir Bercouli and Peter will begin shortly. The match's rules are as stated, with no killing allowed, but all the means at hand being available to use."

The Knight named "Sheyta" then turned to Bercouli.

"Are you ready, Sir Bercouli?"

Bercouli nodded in response.

Sheyta then turned to me.

"Are you ready, Peter?"

I nodded back as well, looking to Eydis sitting in the stands with her arms crossed as her expression turned to a serious note, nodding to me as I nodded back at her, then facing Sheyta.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

Bercouli and I both looked at each other, our faces smirking as the air and tension around us reached a fever pitch high with the match about to commence.

"Then I guess everything's in order."

Sheyta then stepped back as she pulled out an elegant dark sword from its sheath, extending it as she raised it on top of her head.

"The match shall now…"

And with the swift downward swing of her sword…

"BEGIN!"

...

Sheyta stepped out of the ring's way as Bercouli and I still watched each other from opposite sides of the ring. The wind blew past us once more, breezing our clothes with its trajectory. The hot sun waned and beat over us, illuminating parts of the battlefield, while others were shaded by the clouds above. The silence grew ever so louder, the penetrating stares from the crowd of Integrity Knights ever so sharper, the tension and ambiance of the battlefield between us growing ever so palpable.

The smell of the outdoors fresh air inhaled within my senses, my eyes still watching Bercouli as he stared at mine. The calmness of observing, and the expectations for actions.

His face was still the same-old confident expression he bore when meeting me for the first time, before this match, and now. His stature was one of arrogance, his sword still hunkered over his shoulder, being covered by the lightness of his gi and his prevailing stature.

"Here I come!"

My senses grew heightened as I charged Bercouli head-on, my legs pouncing from the ground at sheer speeds as he smirked.

"Hmph."

His arm moved in a sweeping motion as his sword became fully visible to the eye, it's roaring presence now shown.

"Damn!"

I leaped back, avoiding his attack as I looked at his weapon. It's bulky frame filled my vision as it contrasted with the rays of the light shining behind it. It was dark-grey, slightly blackened in some areas as it seemed to glitter, indicating a meticulous polishing was made. The guard and grip seemed to be also made from the same material of the blade, but in its entirety it seemed rather dull, fitting the plainness and appearance of its wielder.

"Do you like it?" Bercouli asked as he waved his sword around. "I call it the Time-Piercing Sword."

I looked at Bercouli as I stood up once more.

"That's a stupid name."

Bercouli smirked.

"You'll see."

He got into his casual-like posture once again as he now put his sword in front of him in a guardian like pose, waiting, and looking at me. His blue hair swayed calmly as he exhaled and asked me a question.

"Where's your sword?"

I chuckled.

"You'll see."

I charged Bercouli once again, riling up a punch and swift kick as I got ready with my instant-transmission in one hand. I expected him to once again just test me out and swing forth once more, and with that, I would teleport to the back of him and give him a nice hit.

"Hraah!"

*CHING*

"Grh!"

I was hit with a straight-on attack from what seemed to be a heat haze straight to my abdomen as I stumbled back and stopped myself from hitting the back wall of the training ground.

"What the?"

I panted and looked up to see Bercouli still in the same position that he was, not moving a single muscle.

"Did he not...? Did he move?"

Bercouli smiled as he picked up his sword and slashed it around in the air, admiring his sword each time he did it as he once again went back to his arrogant and calm demeanor.

"Come on! Is that all you got?" Bercouli taunted.

I gritted my teeth in anger.

"Alright, let me try something new then." I muttered.

I dashed around the arena with my quick speed, running around the arena as he moved his head to watch me circle him. I pounced diagonally from corner to corner of the interior battlefield, attempting to make him lost at my movements.

"Right the-"

I was suddenly hit once more with a couple of devastating heat hazes this time as I flew back into the arena's walls, crashing into it as smoke was emitted from my collision and impact. An imprint of myself was made as the smoke cleared from the rubble.

"Ugh..."

I fell down on all fours and shook myself awake as I panted and looked at Bercouli, still in his same position. He hasn't moved a single muscle every time he swung his sword around… what could it be?!

I stood up, clenching my fists in anger and deep thought as Bercouli once again moved his sword from his position, swinging it around like usual, making "cuts" within the air and battlespace.

"It's clear that you're not worth my pride. So I'll end this quickly."

I scoffed.

"I'd like to see you try."

Bercouli smirked as he watched me fly in the air, the whole crowd watching me within the atmosphere above as I extended both of my hands towards the floor.

"Take this!"

"Huh?"

I fired off multiple ki blasts as they exploded on the ground, creating a sort of smokescreen due to the material and rubble as Bercouli covered himself from down below, with people watching in awe.

"What is that?"

"How can he fly?"

The battlefield below broke into pieces as I flew down at fast speeds, charging up a ki-infused punch as I aimed to where Bercouli was covering himself from the attacks and demolition.

"You're wide open!"

I felt myself get closer to Bercouli's position as my speeds from above cleared the smoke with the air I pushed down from my descent, when I saw Bercouli's face wide and clear, cleared by the smoke of the rubble, and open for a swift attack.

"There you are!"

I went in for a clean punch across Bercouli's face when I suddenly stopped, my body unable to move as my punch was only mere inches away from Bercouli's face.

"Ack…"

My fists were still clenched and shaking as Bercouli looked at me, his face only a few inches from mine now as he whispered into me.

"Armament Full Control."

I felt my body shake as millions of cuts and slices of heat hazes attacked my body all at once, leaving me in shrieking agony and pain as I crashed once again into the arena's enclosure, my back against the familiar wall as I fell and landed face-first onto the hot, hard ground.

"Kshk… my whole body… feels like it's been lacerated into smithereens!"

Bercouli still stood from the other side, looking down at me as he hurled his sword over his shoulder again.

"The match is over. If I had tried any more, you would have been dead by now."

Bercouli scoffed and walked away from me as I gritted my teeth.

"A Saiyan… never loses!"

Bercouli turned his head back.

"Keep telling yourself that kid. Maybe in the future, you can stand a chance against me. Your Saiyan pride is nothing, it's pathetic."

Bercouli looked to the stands at Eydis, who was visibly shaken at this point.

"Come get your student Eydis, he's fading fast."

I looked at Eydis beginning to leave her seat with a saddened expression. My anger boiled within me seeing Eydis miserably leave her spot.

"NO!"

I stood up with a jolt of adrenaline fueling my gesture, as my arms hung from their shoulders, my body almost giving way.

"Like I said, a Saiyan never backs down from a challenge, and never loses!"

Bercouli chuckled as he muttered.

"I like the spirit on this one."

Bercouli turned himself back.

"What makes you think you can win?"

I smirked and chuckled, only part of my face looking up at his.

"Because…"

I coughed up some blood as I clenched my fist up to him.

"I think I got you figured out now."

Bercouli laughed.

"Millions have said that before, and look where I am now."

"Yeah… but I'm not the millions."

Eydis looked on in joy as she clapped her hands once more, returning to her seat and squealing and jumping with happiness.

"Yeah! That's my student!"

I could help but crack a little smile at that one.

"Huh, seems you got her riled up at least." Bercouli commented.

He looked at me, slashing his sword in the air once more as he slacked it over his familiar shoulder.

"Like I said, this match is over."

"Yeah, it will be."

I leaped and charged forward at Bercouli, predicting and analyzing his slashes and attacks as I charged up a fist assault.

"Syaah!"

*CHING*

"What-"

I instant-transmissioned to the slash attack, emitting my Spirit Sword and blocking the heat haze sent out from Bercouli's sword from attacking me.

"Heh, looks like I got it."

I then teleported in front of Bercouli as I swung my sword, with him quickly moving his hand to block the contact.

"Hryahh!"

I struck upwards towards the sky, breaking our clash and deadlock as now both Bercouli and I leaped back.

"That weapon… what is it?"

"This?"

I looked at the ki radiating from my hand.

"It's called a Spirit Sword."

"Spirit… Sword? … Interesting."

I then charged Bercouli again as I watched him getting ready to slash the atmosphere, moving to cut something in the air as I teleported once again in front of him, parrying his attack from reaching its target.

"What's wrong? I thought this match was over!"

I grabbed my nunchucks from behind me as I swung up with the weapon and struck Bercouli's wrist, making him grab it in pain as he stepped back with me stepping forward.

"You're a feisty one, aren't you?"

I chuckled in response.

"I guess I got that from my teacher."

I put back my nunchucks as Bercouli slashed the air multiple times once more. I teleported, predicting and blocking each heat haze with my ki blade and Iooking towards Bercouli.

"I got you now!"

I charged him and landed a clean strike on his robe, cutting it and his skin as crimson blood drawn from his wound.

"Not so fast!"

I kicked up as he blocked my kick with his arm, trying to strike me as I used my other arm to remove his block upon my leg and swiftly kneed him in the chest, our playing field even from my perspective now.

"This person… he's so interesting." Bercouli muttered.

We both gathered some distance between both of us, panting and regaining each other's breath and stamina as the both of us jolted up from our standing rests.

"Looks like I got a hit on you there, Bercouli."

Bercouli looked at his robe, touching his cut as he observed the crimson liquid.

"I can see your pride now, Peter. But it's still nothing compared to an Integrity Knight." Bercouli said.

I smirked as I wiped a bit of blood from myself.

"Then I'm ready when you are." I replied back.

I charged Bercouli with my sword and fists as he parried my attacks, meeting me blow for blow as we both countered both of our assaults and offenses. We could feel the battle reaching it's tipping point as neither of us got a clean hit on each other.

"Now that I've got you figured out, I guess we're on even ground." I said.

"We'll see about that."

We both charged and attacked each other, parrying and blocking each of our attacks as the sounds of swords clashing radiated throughout the atmosphere. We both swiftly maneuvered with each of our attacks, as I saw an opening and took advantage.

"Right there."

I waited for Bercouli to strike me once more as I teleported behind him, watching as his expression turned to one of surprise.

"How did you-"

"Hryah!"

I made a clean cut onto his back, cutting his robe as I then swept his leg from beneath him, making him trip and fall as I then swiftly kicked him on his side, sending him screeching across the battlefield.

I charged him again and again, not letting up as our blades were met at various deadlocks. We stared into each other's eyes each time, but our faces were not bearing one of grit, but rather, both of our faces were emitting one's enjoyment in the fight.

"Try this!" Bercouli said.

Bercouli took a great swing, with me jumping up and narrowly avoiding the sides of his blade. I gave him a swift kick to the face, only to be met by his blocking other hand mid-air. I then twirled forward, grabbing his arm from his unexpected posture and threw him down hard against the ground, picking him up once again and throwing him to the other side of the arena.

"Heh...heh…"

My body panted as I took each deep breath, with Bercouli getting back onto his feet.

"So you got the power of teleportation huh? Quite the interesting Saiyan you are."

I smiled.

"Don't get so flattered."

Bercouli stood up as he looked to the crowd, watching as the other knights were amazed at the display of swordsmanship in front of them from both parties.

"Hmph… alright then, Peter."

Bercouli looked and nodded to a knight clad in purple among the stands as the knight nodded back. I watched as they seemed to communicate with each other, nodding and shaking their heads with simple eye contact made.

"This is the end."

Bercouli extended his sword, his eyes fixated on me, then moving to a certain position which I couldn't make out.

"Right… there."

Bercouli charged me headfirst as I was caught a bit off-guard, parrying his attacks and stepping back as I could feel myself get pushed further behind.

"Okay, so he's on the offensive now."

I blocked and parried each of Bercouli's heavy but quick swings, attempting to get in some clean shots and cuts of my own, but to no avail, as Bercouli seemed to ramp up his power, pace, and everything in between.

"Push him forward Peter!" Eydis called from the stand.

"I'm trying!"

Bercouli seemed to get much fiercer now as I looked into his eyes, bearing one's intensiveness.

"Alright, I'll do the same!"

I yelled with a Saiyan's roar as I pushed Bercouli back with my power and strength, parrying his attack upward as he stepped and leaned back.

"Take this!"

I charged forward and head-on, intending to slice-down on the now dazed Bercouli as I raised my sword high.

"Not so fast!" Bercouli yelled.

He greatly blocked my attack, sending me flying back a few meters as he charged at me once again and raised his sword, even though his distance from mine would result in the sword not connecting with me.

"Is he going to do it?" Eydis asked.

I looked to Eydis.

"Another heat haze attack?" I mouthed.

Eydis quickly shook her head, as my concentration was placed in the battle once more as I looked at Bercouli standing in the distance in front of me.

"Got..." He muttered.

Bercouli slashed a specific area so it seemed as nothing seemed to happen.

"Huh?!"

I charged Bercouli as I expected where the heat haze would be, I raised my sword up and expected the sound of heat and ki clashing, when all I heard was the sound of my emitting energy.

"You." Bercouli finished with.

The arena was silent once more as my eyes widened with surprise. I was sure of it… his heat haze attack that carries forward would be here! Where was it?

"A decoy?!" I thought to myself.

I tried to move my body, when it was frozen in time and place like before once again.

"He did it. Peter let him pull it off." Eydis muttered with horror.

It was like time had stopped.

Noise was canceled.

Silence arose.

Except for one.

"Armament Full Control. Release."

"What-"

*CHCK*

"AGHH!"

I screamed with pain and horror as I felt not only heat hazes, but also millions of cuts and attacks all assault me at once as was still frozen in place, taking all of the damage to my body. I gritted my teeth with agony as blood spewed from every cut of my body, and coming out from my insides through my mouth.

"ACK!"

I was flung across the arena facefirst as my body laid lifeless on the ground, my face planted and touching the hard surface beneath, the familiar taste of my own blood coming to what was left of my senses.

"I just slashed your past." Bercouli began.

He raised his sword, showing it around as it contrasted the bright sun behind him.

"It's called the Time-Piercing Sword for a reason. It inherits the properties of the system clock within here, allowing me to interfere with the perception of time within this place. What I did with the heat hazes was my strengthening phase, allowing me to essentially "cut and slash the future", where my sword's force would be conserved in a specific place and unleashed at a specific time, in the form of a powerful heat haze."

Bercouli then continued once more, still eyeing his sword and standing from on top of my non-moving body.

"Then, my move I just did was my most powerful one. It's my releasing phase of the sword, allowing me to slash the past, in contrast to my strengthening phase. This move compared to my previous one, is much, much, MUCH more powerful, even I would say, substantially more powerful. You made me use this move to defeat you, so have some pride in that."

"..."

"Peter?" Bercouli asked.

"..."

My body laid still, not moving a single muscle.

"Oh no…" Bercouli muttered.

He looked away.

"My release phase, has not met a single person that could withstand its power."

"Sir Bercouli! What have you done?!"

Bercouli responded with nothing as he just looked at Eydis.

"Tch!"

Eydis looked to the knight in purple.

"Lady Fanatio-"

"SILENCE!"

The knight in purple deemed Fanatio sneered at Eydis.

"What's wrong Eydis?" Fanatio asked mockingly.

Eydis looked away.

"I should have never agreed to this stupid match."

Eydis seemed to have tears well up in her eyes as clenched her fists and protested.

"You agreed to this, every party consented." Fanatio added.

Eydis shot up.

"But not against his death! You already know that move is one of killing and now he's GONE!"

Fanatio seemed to get heated.

"Why do you care for someone like him so much?! You let him enter The Cathedral, someone who's from the outside, not even a noble at that. You then let him injure Renly, and accept a match from Bercouli? Thinking that was a smart move?"

Fanatio glared at Eydis.

"You're nothing but a retarded airhead, Eydis. How you even became a Knight baffles me. And now, he's passed on."

The whole crowd grew silent at Fanatio's rash remarks, as Eydis's tears flowed from her eyes.

...

"This Integrity Knight... he's so powerful. His pride is something I've seen only second to Master Bardock. He's really a tough one, huh?"

"What?"

I turned around, seeing myself standing in front of me.

"Hey."

"... Hey."

The figure of myself cleared his throat.

"What's wrong?"

I shrugged.

"I don't know."

The figure scoffed, pushing me.

"What happened to you?"

I protested back.

"Bercouli happened!"

The figure chuckled, crossing his arms and looking up.

"He's a real tough one, eh?"

The figure then looked at me and questioned.

"What are you?"

I was taken a bit aback by this question.

"I'm Peter."

"No, you dumbass."

He touched my heart area.

"WHAT, are you?"

I looked into his eyes, his projection reflecting mine.

"I'm a Saiyan."

"Correct."

He felt around my area, with my heart and chest turning golden.

"That's not very Saiyan like."

"What is?"

I looked down and inside myself.

"Oh."

"Yeahhhh."

My figure stepped back, chuckling, and looking down.

"You have the pride in your Saiyan heritage, yet your heart and soul is so… warm."

He looked up at me.

"That's not very Saiyan like, is it?"

I laughed.

"No, I guess not."

I then looked at him, asking him a question.

"What are you trying to tell me?"

He gestured with his head towards me.

"Trust in yourself."

He winked at me.

"You are who you choose to be."

I looked down, then back at him.

"A compassionate Saiyan?"

"Bingo."

He snapped his fingers and pointed at me.

"Every experience you've had, your whole life, whether it's your training sessions with Master Bardock, or this match against Bercouli, has led you to become who you are now."

He then walked up to me, glaring into me.

"So. I'll ask again. What are you?"

I glared back into his familiar eyes.

"I'm a Saiyan. Part of the ULTIMATE warrior race."

"With the heart of a teddy-bear."

The reflection of myself laughed as I laughed alongside him.

"And a Saiyan never loses, never refuses a challenge, and never backs down, never not picking himself up." He said.

He put a hand on my shoulder.

"To find Alice."

I smiled and responded.

"To rescue Kirito and Eugeo."

The figure then looked at me for a short time, then chuckled.

"You truly are a full-blooded Saiyan huh? So easily motivated and fired-up?"

I smiled as he then continued.

"To change this world and the Integrity Knights."

I nodded.

"To protect the things I love."

He stared into me, pressing his finger against me.

"To always keep my pride."

I clenched my fist.

"And to not let Eydis down."

All the images of them popping up, their faces looking down upon me as they all smiled. We both looked at the visuals of them, smiling; the both of us.

"They're all counting on you, now it's time to count on yourself."

I chuckled.

"You really think I can pull it off?"

The copy of myself laughed.

"I've seen you do much worse."

We both laughed once again as he stopped and smiled, putting his hand on my chest.

"You know yourself, Peter. Now it's time to trust in yourself."

I nodded.

"To have a heart and soul of compassion."

He nodded back.

"And to have pride in your Saiyan heritage."

I agreed.

"And a person with a heart and soul of compassion like yours will never let anybody down, will protect and change the things he cherishes, and loves the things around him."

He smiled.

"And a Saiyan with pride in his benevolent heritage like me always adapts and gets stronger, always has the lust for battle, and never loses no matter what."

He looked directly into my eyes.

"Now go, and be the Saiyan you are."

*woosh*

The familiar scent of the outside winds of Centoria filled my senses once again, revitalizing me as I came back into reality.

And the familiar taste of the ground came about again, and the familiar movement of myself standing up against all odds.

...

*Step*

"Not yet."

"Huh?"

"Wha?"

I slowly picked my broken body up from the ground as the partial top of my head stared at Bercouli, his expression bearing one of surprise and shock.

"Like I said, it's not over."

I said this as I pointed to Bercouli standing across from me.

"How... how did he-"

Bercouli then laughed.

"You're truly something else, Peter." Bercouli whispered.

Everyone seemed to look in awe at me, surviving Bercouli's attack and picking myself up from the ground. Gasps and surprised reactions filled their air, as I smiled weakly to Bercouli.

"As you can see, I am not the millions."

Eydis turned to me and looked on as her expression and tears turned to that of joy as she covered her mouth full of delight.

"Peter!"

I looked at her and smiled, reassuring her I was alright.

"Don't worry Knight, I'm not so easily defeated."

As I then shot a Saiyan's death glare at Fanatio.

"And you… calling my Knight those words. I will deal with you right now, but not directly."

Bercouli continued to look at me with shock and awe, his face genuinely seeming surprised and taken aback.

"No one has ever survived my Armament Full Control Release." Bercouli commented.

I chuckled weakly.

"Like I said, I'm not the millions."

I clenched my fist once more.

"I'm a Saiyan."

I tightened my body, getting in a charging pose.

"And like you have done for me, don't think I'm being stingy when I didn't use this against you until now."

I got ready within myself.

"And like a Saiyan, I will constantly improve and get stronger, never losing a match or refusing a challenge! It's in my blood, my Saiyan pride!"

My body was pumped up once more despite the damage, my Saiyan genes, blood, and pride coursing through my veins fueled my adrenaline inside of me.

"Oh?"

Bercouli seemed intrigued and got ready as I obliged.

"I was planning on using this technique against Eydis a while back, when I was at my breaking point and ready to challenge her once again to a real match head-on. But now, I guess the time's right now more than ever."

Eydis looked shocked as she called out from the stands.

"What?! I just cried for you and here you are, talking about fighting me?!"

"Of course! It's my Saiyan pride."

Eydis sighed as she sat back down in her seat, covering part of her head with her hand.

"Never change Peter, never change you Saiyan."

Eydis blushed as she looked down.

"Heh…"

Eydis then looked on at me, her body and posture shrinking a little bit.

"I... guess that's why I was so intrigued, attracted to you. I already knew from day one when I met and saw you for the first time, sitting next to your bedside after your match with Humbert. I could tell already you unique, fiery, and prideful Saiyan."

She folded her arms and looked at the battlefield once more, at the match taking place and the things ahead.

"Now, I want to see what you're so eager to be up to. Show me, Peter. Show us all."

I flared up my energy and ki as I concentrated on the influx of power.

"Haaaaaaaah!"

I gripped my fists tight, my muscles contracting and tightening against each other as I gritted my teeth, my blood pulsing with focus.

The arena shook violently as the ground and earth beneath me started to crack, little fissures appearing beneath my feet as I could feel myself sink lower into the ground.

"Kaio-Ken!"

A red aura burst around from me in the shape of a flame, engulfing me in its power.

"Finally, all done."

I pointed a thumbs-up towards myself.

"Behold, the Kaio-Ken!"

Bercouli looked perplexed but intrigued as he stared at me.

"Kaio… Ken?"

I nodded in return.

"Yeah, only my friends at the Silver Knight over there know this technique, so I'll give you guys the rundown."

I put both of my arms down as I began gesturing and speaking.

"The Kaio-Ken was taught back to me a while before from my friend Berota. It increases my energy for a "heartbeat" so to say, allowing me to increase my speed and power. Not only that, but all my senses have been heightened and increased as well, allowing myself to dish out even more damage. The downside, however, is that it takes a heavy toll on my body. But, it can be used for longer with intense training, which is something I've more than been accustomed to."

I continued.

"Oh yeah, after first learning this technique and training until now, I've thought I had reached my limit with this ability, but when I said that I was planning to use this against Eydis, I didn't mean just a multiplier."

Eydis looked on.

"Huh? What does he mean?"

The earth began to shake once more as the rocks and debris around us started violently floatling and lifting with each coming second.

"Hraaaahhh!"

I clenched my fist and closed my eyes, getting back into a charging position whilst yelling and increasing my energy. The arena around us began to shake, the other knights being moved around with each passing second of my power.

*Swoosh*

The red crimson aura from around me vanished into the thin air as the arena fell silent at the sudden turn of momentum, the dissipation of my emanation. The wind became audible once more as it blew past both Bercouli and me, the waving of the grass, the rustling of the trees.

"Hmph."

I could feel a million stares penetrate me, as I smirked and looked to Bercouli.

"Saiyan Kaio-Ken!"

*THOOM*

An orange aura inflamed and engulfed itself around me once more as I clenched my fist, breathing out a calming breath along with a sigh of accomplishment accompanied by a determined look at Bercouli. The aura radiated sounds of violent electricity-like noises as I spoke.

"Finally, all done. I did it. I have brought the Kaio-Ken beyond its limits."

I pointed towards myself once more.

"You might be wondering why my energy and aura is now orange. Like I've said before, the Kaio-Ken multiplies a user's ki, thus requiring the utmost control of my energy. Now, not only have I multiplied my ki with this technique, but I've also infused my ki within the technique itself, using the Saiyan energy within me and combining it with the calm and focusness of the Kaio-Ken, therefore amplifying its effects.

I pointed my clenched fist towards Bercouli.

"If I had made even a tiny mistake, my ki would've gone berserk within my body, leaving me to die right here and right now. However, like the warrior I am, it looks like I've been able to control it just right."

I let out a smirk, my fist still clenched and pointed towards Bercouli.

"I call it the Saiyan Kaio-Ken, my newest ability!"

Bercouli continued to look at me.

"Saiyan Kaio-Ken?"

Bercouli's expression bore one of astoundment.

"With all my years fighting, I don't think I've ever met something like this."

I smiled in return and happily obliged.

"Then here I come!"

I ran towards Bercouli as he got ready, then teleported and vanished out of his eyesight as he looked around, unable to spot me anywhere.

"I-Impossible!"

I moved quickly to the back of Bercouli as I flicked the back of his head.

"Over here!"

I zipped past and made my way in front of him, as I watched him turn back, then forward.

"I-I couldn't even see him!" Bercouli hissed.

Eydis looked on the battlefield, then at me with an astounded face.

"I couldn't even see him either!"

Eydis looked around to the other knights, their faces bearing the same surprised demeanor.

"How- How did he?"

"What power he has…!"

Eydis looked back towards the battlefield towards me.

"Bercouli doesn't know what kind of technique that is, I don't think anyone here does. And just when I thought he reached his limit with that ability, he's gone and pushed himself, becoming ever so stronger. To be honest, even more than me with that move."

Eydis then blushed and looked down, then up once more and smiled.

"That's my Saiyan student."

I looked back at Bercouli as I began with a menacing glare.

"I could've easily slaughtered Humbert in a matter of milliseconds with just the Kaio-Ken if not for his stealing abilities. And now that I know that you can't, along with your recognizable sense of pride, I want to test out my full power as of right now against you, an Integrity Knight."

I smirked.

"I'll show you my pride."

The earth now shattered beneath me as I began charging up.

"Hyaaaaaaah!"

The battleground bent to my will as the ground around me broke further once more, the small fissures now amplified to crackling ravines.

"Grrrrrgh!"

I could feel my whole body tighten up, my whole body shaking and trembling with pressure as my power grew higher and higher. I screamed more and more along with a yell as my charging got even more intense by the second.

The crackling of the grounds beneath me, breaking with each moment of my increase.

The flying of debris around me, following in the direction of my aura.

The shaking of the arena, coupled with the stupefied looks of the Knights.

All of them, caused by my power and pride.

"His aura's… his aura's increasing rapidly!"

Bercouli looked up in awe at the rapid growth.

"Multiplied by… no… not ten…!"

I gritted my teeth, clenching my fists once more, and focused myself as I let out a roar.

"TIMES THIRTY!"

The aura around me now radiated throughout the entire arena, a fluorescent orange burst throughout the entire battlefield, now engulfing itself throughout the entire atmosphere.

"SAIYAN KAIO-KEN TIMES THIRTY!"

I lunged towards Bercouli.

"SRYAAH!"

"Tch-"

"DOOM*

He attempted to block my attack as I landed a clean punch across his face, kneeing him in the gut and kicking him back, watching him fly in the direction of my force.

"He's much faster than before!" Eydis commented.

"Grh."

Bercouli lifted up his sword.

"GRAAH!"

He sliced the air furiously and at quicker speeds than before as it seemed like the world was at my fingertips, the speed of the world was at my disposal.

*Swoosh*

I dodged his heat hazes cleanly as I appeared in front of him.

"What the-"

*THOOM*

My fist cleanly met Bercouli's gut as he spat out blood, his back bent to my level, and his ear now to my mouth.

"It's useless Knight. With both of these powers of my violent Saiyan energy, and the calmness and control of the Kaioken, I'm beyond your reach now."

I glared at his side.

"You don't even know how far I've gone."

"Grh!"

Bercouli swung his sword as I easily parried it, blocking it with my ki blade as I sliced him across all places.

"GRYAAH!"

I head-butted him cleanly across his skull and kicked him into the air, watching him fly high in the sky.

"TAKE THIS!"

I teleported up behind him, locking both of my hands as they met his back with such force that it sent him back face-first into the earth, a crater showing up with his place.

"Huh."

I looked at my arm and body.

"Looks like my body can't hold this combination and power for much longer without bursting within itself."

I gritted my teeth.

"IT'S TIME I END THIS!"

I put both of my palms across from each other and moved around, with a neon white energy appearing within the middle. I cupped both of my hands together; a violent and sporadic yellow electric ki generating within the grips of my hand.

"ULTIMATE…"

I got into my galick-gun pose, putting my right hand behind my left as the Fuschia-colored ki entered within my hand. I carried my energy as I put my left hand below my right, my palms to the side of my body as blue ki charged up within my palm.

"AMALGAMATION!"

I thrust both of my arms and hands and fired my attack, sending it violently beaming towards the ground as it met the earth below.

"GRAAAH!"

*THOOM*

The colossal-sized attack met the ground as it cracked the arena floor below it, sending everything flying everywhere as it exploded with its great power.

"Haah… haah…"

I was still left panting and in my pose when I looked down.

"I… I did it."

I made my way below, touching the ground and standing a few meters away from the crater.

*Crack*

The debris below moved and shook violently when it was flung into my direction, with me dodging it.

"Huh." I commented.

Bercouli stood up from his injuries, his robe torn and his whole body bloodied as he laughed from below.

"I almost DIED from that, you know you Saiyan?"

Bercouli lifted his sword, multiple clocks, and holographic spheres of sort showed up around him carrying a blue color, similar to what Eydis has done before, except her's was a dark purple.

"Now that I've seen your unique power Peter, there's no need for me to hold back anymore."

An aura began surrounding Bercouli as I could sense his power grow larger and larger in scale.

I chuckled.

"I guess that's why they call him the top one without jokes or questions."

I looked with awe as I watched Bercouli.

"This Integrity Knight… His power. How do I-"

I smiled as I clenched my fist.

"I got it."

I watched as Bercouli charged up his attack and pointed towards me.

"ARMAMENT FULL CONTROL… FULL RELEASE!"

I ran forward as I Eydis suddenly panicked.

"W-What is he doing?!"

Eydis called out from the stands.

"MOVE PETER!"

Bercouli slashed as I ran up towards him, his attack directly reaching me as it cut me cleanly.

Directly.

As two halves of my body lay split out on the battlefield, my blood and insides splattered throughout the entire arena floor. The whole crowd was left bewildered as they all stared at my cleanly chopped frame.

"Wha…?"

Bercouli looked at my cut body, my whole length split in two.

*Swoom… swoom*

As he turned his head back slowly, with what was mere inches away from his Adam's Apple, was my yellow ki blade sticking out and only mere inches away from meeting his end.

"Looks like I win."

The whole atmosphere grew silent as only the sound of my Saiyan Kaio-ken's aura played throughout the arena and my body.

"How… how did you?"

Bercouli turned back to my split body, which dissolved into a yellow nothingness.

"That's… Eydis's technique. It was just an-"

"Illusion."

I continued.

"You were too drunk on your pride, too tunnel-visioned, exactly like the Prince, wanting to eliminate me then and there and losing your concentration."

I gestured with my head toward the spot where Bercouli's maximum attack hit me.

"I sent an illusion that I was taught by that Knight over there. With my speed far surpassing the vision of your mere eyes, I replaced myself with an illusion when I charged you head-on, making you fully focus on it, omitting part of your point of vision and leaving the real me to be unseen, and unheard."

I looked towards the sky as Bercouli did the same.

"I then flew up from on top of you and landed behind you, which is where we are right now, where we're both standing."

Bercouli then looked at me as I then spoke.

"The ability to constantly improve, as well as using our gifted brains for battle… It's what makes us Saiyans the ultimate warrior race. Not only did my fists beat you."

I tapped the side of my head.

"But my Saiyan brain did.

Bercouli then stopped for a moment, staring at nothing then chuckling as he spoke.

"Well then… I'll be damned."

Bercouli thought hard for a moment, as he then scratched his chin and nodded.

"Hmm?" I said as I looked on at him.

Bercouli then lowered his head as he turned, making his body face mine.

"Eydis told me all about your race, your kind from what she got from your previous master."

Bercouli then knelt down, his body kneeling towards mine as his head almost touched the tip of my blade.

"Go ahead, kill me. You have your Saiyan pride after all."

The arena grew silent once more as I looked towards the spectators, with the Integrity Knight clad in purple armor shaking within her steel frame, looking like she was going to say something. I looked at Eydis, who looked back at me with an intrigued look.

But, I already knew the answer.

"You really don't know me, do you?

Bercouli looked up at me as I spoke.

"Then let me tell you who I am."

I deactivated my Spirit Sword as I began. I took in a deep breath, deactivating my Kaio-Ken.

"I'm an alien from another planet if you want to put it in those terms. I'm not from here, yet I've become so accustomed to your species' culture."

I turned around, facing my back to the entire crowd.

"See?"

I pointed to my swaying tail sticking out from the pants of my gi.

"You don't see your everyday human walk around with that. Everyone stared at me like I was a new product, and them being curious buyers."

I then continued.

"However, like I've said before, and what I've shown you today, I do have pride. Pride in the Saiyan I am. And to a Saiyan, pride is something we always keep. Pride in our Saiyan race. Pride in our heritage."

I then put my hand over my chest and heart.

"But, I also have a heart of solicitude. I know not to be so egotistical, so drunk in my pride that it blinds me. I know when to not be so full of myself."

I then looked towards the witness Integrity Knight.

"Well, Sheyta?"

Sheyta nodded and looked at me, her face smiling then getting serious once more as she pulled out her gleaming sword, and raised it in the air.

"Winner! Peter!"

"WUOOAH!"

Eydis stood up and cheered alone as she was soon joined by other cheering Integrity Knights, all making loud noises and clapping as they applauded the witnessing of the prideful match.

All except for one of course.

"Heh. Alright then."

Bercouli grinned.

"Looks like my spontaneous pride test went well. Well, both the fight and the one just now." He muttered with a warm smile.

Bercouli laughed as he picked himself up and put his hand on his hips.

"I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks."

I chuckled in response.

"Well, there's always a reason to get stronger. Always."

Bercouli nodded as he pointed to me, lumbering his sword over his shoulder as he questioned me.

"What is that move that you did… the one that almost wiped me out?

"My Ultimate Amalgamation?"

Bercouli nodded.

"Yeah, that one."

I obliged his request.

"It shows that I have harnessed both worlds. Different energies and attacks of all types. All of me, utilized in one move. My own thing."

Bercouli scratched his chin as he then nodded.

"Interesting… So basically your own unique self? A unique Saiyan?"

I snapped my fingers and pointed towards him.

"Bingo."

Bercouli nodded back in response once more.

"Huh… quite interesting if I do say so myself."

Bercouli then extended his hand towards me.

"I look forward to our rematch, Peter."

I stared at his open hand once more, as I firmly gripped it and shook in response.

"Me too, Bercouli. Truth be told, if the match continued any longer, I would've lost, with my whole body bursting within itself."

I then nodded at him.

"Your full-strength as well, which I must admit is greater than mine, even with my Saiyan Kaioken. I've noticed and took note of your power, your strength. It's immaculate, I'll give you that."

Bercouli then laughed.

"Always a reason to get stronger right?"

I released my grip from his hand as I laughed.

"You bet."

We both shared a good laugh with each other, even with our battle-scarred broken bodies.

"Oh, can I ask you something else?"

I nodded.

"Sure."

Bercouli smiled as he asked.

"What are you?"

I paused for a moment as I happily obliged.

"I'm a Saiyan, but with the heart of a teddy-bear."

I pointed back towards and at Eydis.

"I'm also what that Knight over there helped me figure out. It's the result of the harmonization of both my upbringing and what's around me, along with my prideful heritage. Not only shown through my power and techniques, but also what's inside me, what's driving me, and something I keep and protect dearly."

I looked back towards Bercouli.

"There is always my Saiyan pride. Pride for me is many things. Pride in my Saiyan heritage, pride in being part of the Saiyans, the ultimate warrior race, pride in a Saiyans itching for battle, pride in a Saiyans constant lust to get stronger, and pride in a Saiyans hunger for more powerful, and new opponents."

I then put my hand on my heart.

"However, even if my Saiyan side did hate admitting it, within my heart and soul is one of humanity, one of protection, one of gentleness. Wanting to change this world for the better, having the compassion and drive to find and help my friends, and protecting this world along with the ones I love and care for. Things a Saiyan wouldn't care for."

I gestured towards myself.

"My brain and blood are that of Saiyan pride and race. And within my heart and soul, is one of humanity and gentle upbringing. Fused into one being, part of both worlds. That, being the Saiyan I am."

Bercouli then paused, looking astounded as he smiled and asked.

"What about risking your whole entire body and possibly life, just on a sparring match?"

I chuckled.

"It's in my blood and Saiyan pride. To always revel in a fight."

Bercouli paused for a moment once again, collecting his thoughts as he spoke.

"After all my years fighting, I've finally been genuinely surprised."

*Thwick*

"Agh!"

My muscles flared up as my body hit the ground hard with a *THUD* noise.

"What happened?" Bercouli questioned.

Eydis jumped from the stands and landed on the ground as she ran towards me, kneeling at my palace.

"The Kaio-Ken already takes a heavy toll on the body, so imagine him amplifying it even more. That's why he could only sustain it for so long."

I laughed.

"Like I said, why not both my brains and fist, right?"

Eydis sighed.

"Honestly, you baka Saiyan."

Eydis then dragged me as she pulled me towards the exit.

"Come on, we're taking you to the baths. You can bath with your excellent Senpai!" Eydis said as she giggled.

My face blushed.

"What- I mean-"

I looked away, my face still red.

"Fine, whatever."

Bercouli watched and laughed as Eydis attempted to drag my lumbering body towards the exit, resulting in a convenient idea by her.

"Piggy-back ride!"

I shook my head violently.

"No, no, NO!"

However, my whole body couldn't move at all as I was at the mercy of Eydis, being hoisted up and put on her back as she carried me away towards the exit and into the Cathedral.

"Hehe, off we go my Saiyan student!"

"Grh…"

Bercouli continued to watch Eydis and me as Fanatio walked up towards him.

"Honestly… what an interesting person. Plus their duo, they're really meant for each other, even if it seems that they're polar opposites." Bercouli commented.

Fanatio looked at Bercouli.

"You know what he said right? About what he wanted to change."

Bercouli looked at Fanatio and smiled as he nodded.

"Of course, I heard him loud and clear."

Bercouli then looked towards Eydis and me as we walked away.

"An alien from another planet, with such great power and strength, immense pride and mind, and a unique and giant soul and heart. Such conviction as well, to change and protect something so great."

Bercouli then chuckled.

"It's there's one person who can do such a feat,"

Bercouli then gestured ahead.

"It's him."
