Bryant: Some of the most popular groups of people are the warriors. Some of the most well-known warriors are the sword fighters. Some of the most respected sword fighters are the knights.
Thea: But if you're one of these two knights, you're just a dork. Or a total freak. *shudders*
Bryant: Jaune Arc, the blonde leader of Team JNPR.
Thea: And Darkness, the blonde crusader of Team Kazuma.
Bryant: For this battle, we'll be using Jaune from Volume 1 to Volume 8. And as for Darkness, we'll be using both the light novel and the web novel for reference.
Thea: And while these two are at their best with teammates, they'll only be by themselves for this battle.
Bryant: I'm Bryant Reese.
Thea: And I'm Thea Price.
Bryant: And we're here to analyse these two fighters and find out who would win, a WI Battle!

Jaune Arc:
Bryant: In the world of Remnant, the humans and Faunus are protected by the Huntsman and Huntresses. And all people need to learn how to fight to learn how to protect. So it only makes sense that there are schools in a world that relies on people fighting powerful monsters.
Thea: Beacon Academy! A combination of the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, Hogwarts, and Yuuei High! Man, that's a cool school!
Bryant: Under the watchful gaze of Principal Ozpin and Glynda Goodwitch, the students of Beacon Academy are some of the best of the best. With Beacon being one of the highest ranking schools in the world, this shouldn't be all that of a surprise.
Thea: And then there's Jaune.
Jaune Arc:
-Age: 19
-Aliases: Fearless Leader, Vomit Boy, Jauney boy
-7 sisters
-Leader of Team JNPR and Co-leader of Team RNJR
-Based on Joan of Arc
-Has a Twitter and Skype account
-Huntsman Number 63600-89061-45795
-Denser than dense
Bryant: Jaune Arc wasn't like the other members of Beacon. Coming from a long line of Huntsmen along with seven other sisters, Jaune always dreamed of becoming a legendary Huntsmen like his father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. Desperate to join his ancestors in the pages of history, he cheated his way into the school, using fake transcripts to enter.
Thea: Beacon is awesome, but that's kind of stupid. If you're with the best of the best, you're probably gonna die if you can't stand with them in battle. And that would've happened if he didn't nab an awesome partner after one hell of an entrance exam. Pyrrha Nikos.
Bryant: Being a stereotypical sports celebrity, Pyrrha took an instant liking to Jaune, who never stopped treating her like a normal person.
Thea: Too bad he didn't notice how much she liked him.
Bryant: Being a good partner, Pyrrha offered to teach Jaune how to use his weapons and how to fight in battle. While he was quite stubborn at first, Jaune eventually learned to rely on his teammates and take responsibility, and accepted her offer.
Thea: And they both did a pretty damn good job! By the Vytal Festival, he was good enough to keep up with his teammates and with his opponents. He wasn't as good as them, but he did keep up pretty well.
Bryant: It's true, Jaune did do pretty good in learning how to use his signature weapon, Crocea Mors.
Abilities/Arsenal:
-Crocea Mors
=Sword and Shield duo
==Shield becomes a sheath
==Sword and sheath can combine into a broadsword
=Dust
==Hard-Light Dust
==Gravity Dust
-Aura
=Above average
=Semblance: Aura Amp
==Amplify Aura both him and another
-Armor
-Natural leader
Thea: What's a knight without a sword?
Bryant: A knight with a spear.
Thea: Crocea Mors is a sword of the older generations. It's just a hand-me-down, but a damn good one. It's real sturdy, having been used in the Great War by his great-great-grandfather, and still going strong. At first glance, it's just an arming sword, which is mostly a one-handed sword meant for self-defence. But the sheath can unfold into a heater shield, which was a common type of shield that was lighter than most other shields and had a large surface area for solid defense.
Bryant: And after several upgrades, Crocea Mors only became better. It became a longsword and now can combine with the sheath to become a large broadsword, combining the weight of both sword and shield to triple the damage from the heavier weight. And the shield can use either Hard-Light Dust to increase the shield's width and defense, or Gravity Dust to change direction, break falls, blast enemies back, or bounce on. By combining the two, he can create a paraglider to glide through the air like Link from Breath of the Wild. And for protecting people at a range, he has Shield Grenades, which can deploy a Hardlight Shield and be called back with the Gravity Dust in his shield.
Thea: The sword is sharp enough to cut through Grimm monsters like nothing, and the shield can tank a lot of damage easily. But he'd be doomed against the Grimm if it wasn't for his Aura.
Bryant: Aura is the physical manifestation of a person's sole. It can grant minor temperature protection, heal wounds, and protect from powerful attacks. Also, Jaune can use his Aura as a radar, allowing him to detect nearby creatures. While Jaune never actually showed this ability in battle, he has stated to have experienced a feeling of being watched, and it was explained by Pyrrha and used by his friend Lie Ren. As his Aura works the same as theirs, he should be capable of using similar abilities. If that wasn't enough, Pyrrha stated that Jaune had a lot of Aura. Assuming she was comparing him to her own Aura, it's reasonable to say that Jaune's Aura is more plentiful than most Huntsmen and Huntresses.
Thea: And he can increase his power with his Semblance. It's kinda like a Quirk from My Hero Academia, or a mutant power from X-Men.
Bryant: Jaune's Semblance is Aura Amp, which increases his Aura's capability. With it, he can increase the power of his Aura, increasing durability, and increasing healing. While Aura originally has only been able to heal minor wounds, with his Semblance, Jaune can heal both himself and others from fatal wounds, like when he saved Weiss from being impaled.
Thea: But what about strength? What about speed?
Bryant: Well, Jaune was strong enough to knock back the claw of the Darkstalker Grimm, hold up the Nucklevee, hold up Tyrian Callows with only one hand, cut into the Colossus with little effort, and decapitate a Ursa Major with a single swing of his sword. In the Fall of Beacon, we can briefly see Jaune straight up headbutt another Ursa Major, and send it flying. Assuming the size of the average Ursa Major was the size of the one Jaune first fought, and comparing it to the Ursa he killed during Volume 2, the Majors look around twice as big as an Ursa. Assuming a Ursa weighs as much as a grizzly, this means that the Ursa Major should weigh about 2.4 tons, as weight increases times eight when something is doubled in size.
Thea: And he straight up headbutted one of them! Not bad! And in terms of speed, he should be able to scale to his bully Cardin, who can block bullets from a rifle.
Bryant: Which usually move at speeds equal to about 1,800 mph.
Thea: Wow! Again, not bad!
Bryant: However, Jaune's best trait is his natural leadership and surprising durability. During the initiation exam, he fell through the air before being pinned to a tree by the neck of his hoodie by a spear. In 1892 to 1969, the British executed people by dropping them less than five feet with a rope tied around their neck. Jaune was falling for a much longer period of time for a much longer distance. Assuming his weight at the time was only 180 lbs, and assuming his weapon weighs around 24 lbs, as that's the weight of an average sword and shield combo, and assuming his chest piece weighs as much as an assault vest, which is another 30 lbs, this means his total weight would be 234 lbs. Assuming he fell about 300 meters, this means the force he experienced when he was caught was equal to 3,116,400 Newtons of force.
Thea: That's as much as 50 elephants falling on his neck! And that's 560 times the maximum force needed to break a regular human neck! And get this! He didn't have Aura! He didn't even need to crack his neck after that. And in terms of being a leader, he was appointed the position by Ozpin despite the man probably already knowing that Jaune faked his way in.
Bryant: And despite often being considered a klutz or a dork, he's rarely lost a fight. In fact, the only time he lost was against Cardin, when he was barely even a fighter, against Cinder, who was a Maiden several times more powerful than him, and against Neo, a battle in which they were chased by the authorities and lost because Neo stole the Relic, not because she beat them in a fight.
Thea: Why do people consider him a joke again?
Bryant: Several reasons. One, he's quite dense. Two, he may be a skilled leader, but he's far less experience than the others. Three, he spent most of his time in Atlas escorting children and being flirted with by Thirsty Moms. Four, he relies on his teammates rather than pure skill. Five, he's still much weaker than his friends. Six, when he loses control of his emotions he loses his skills.
Thea: Seven! He made his hair look like a bunch of bananas are glued to his head. What the heck made him think that was a good idea?
Bryant: Jaune may have an impressive list of abilities, but he's obviously far from perfect. His impressive win-loss record can arguably be attributed to his teammates. As a result of both this and the untimely death of Pyrrha-
Thea: Rest in peace best girl. At least you died before Roosterteeth ruined you too.
Bryant: -he's begun to view himself as being less important than his friends, though he has begun to recover from this mentality.
Thea: Jaune may be a goofball who doesn't know how to take a hint, but I gotta admit. He's someone who will always stand to fight for others.
(Jaune Arc) You don't think we should be Huntsmen, fine. But I'm getting out of the cold. We still have a job to do.
-Line Break-
Darkness:
Bryant: Satou Kazuma. Perverted, greedly, and lazy. But also a brilliant, clever, and sympathetic kid. He's also the main protagonist of Konosuba, a comedy based isekai anime.
Thea: There are a lot of crappy isekais, but Konosuba is awesome. But unlike most isekai protagonists, Kazuma ain't overpowered, since he made the mistake of bringing Aqua along instead of a real overpowered ability. So in a world where he has to go through an RPG in real life, he definitely needs a good party. There's Aqua, a water goddess with above average abilities with the exception of intelligence and luck which are both trash, causing her to make way more trouble than help…
Bryant: …
Thea: …Well, there's Megumin! An arch-wizard who can cast Explosion, the most powerful spell in the world once a day before becoming completely unable to move and completely refuses to learn any other spells to be more useful…
Bryant: …
Thea: …This hurts. Who's next?
Darkness:
-Real name: Lalatina Dustiness Ford
-Age: 22
-An extreme masochist
-A devoted Eris Cultist
-Hates her real name
-Fourth member of Team Kazuma
-Secretly tries on Megumin's outfits
Bryant: Lalatina Dustiness Ford, more commonly known as Darkness. A member of the Royal Dustiness family of nobles, Darkness grew up alongside other nobles and acted as both a sister figure to a girl named Iris, and a mother figure to her cousin Sylphina. Her father, Ignis Dustiness Ford, often tried to arrange marriages with her, trying to have her marry into another house of nobles.
Thea: But screw that, she wanted to be a crusader! So she continued to run away, running to Axel and the Eris Church.
Bryant: Eventually, she met Chris, a thief who helped her begin her path as a crusader and protect others.
Thea: And fulfill her fetish.
Bryant: Right… Darkness is loyal, honorable, kind, caring, and very protective. She loves protecting the citizens of the kingdom with everything she has. There's just one, tiny problem.
Thea: She's a hopeless masochist. Whip her, burn her, choke her, bind her, crush her, trample her, drown her, insult her, hell, rape her! She'll just get off on that! Her dream husband is an abusive alcoholic who uses her as a prostitute. While she does legitimately want to protect others, it's also her attempt to get captured by the Devil Kind and sexually tortured. She doesn't discriminate. Be it a Demon General, Kazuma, or even flying cabbages. She'll do anything to be humiliated. Hell, the reason why she wanted to join Kazuma was because she thought he was a massive pervert. He is, but not that kind. If anything, he gets turned off by her masochism.
Bryant: When Kazuma realized her personality, he was quite against having her on his team. He already had to deal with the bad reputation that Megumin and Aqua seem to love giving him. But eventually, she ended up joining him, much to his disgruntlement.
Abilities/Arsenal:
-Sword
-Armor
-Magic
=Decoy (Draws targets to her)
-Resistances
=Magic resistance
=Absorption resistance
=Possession resistance
=Poison resistance
=Teleportation resistance
=Status resistance
=Mind resistance
=Curse resistance
=Death resistance
=Disease resistance
-Superhuman abilities
=Superhuman strength
=Superhuman speed
=Superhuman endurance
=Superhuman durability
Thea: Alright, so what does she have? *checks list* Hm… The most strength, endurance, and durability out of the entire group? Should be as fast as Kazuma, who can fight against a Lizard Runner, which is way faster than a horse? Okay, okay. Sturdy shield and armor? Alright. TEN RESISTANCES?! Not bad, not bad!
Bryant: Darkness may someone who likes being hurt, and throws all reason away to accomplish this. But she's not so stupid that she'll not be prepared. If she didn't have these resistances, she wouldn't be able to enjoy the full experience. She can resist the effects of magic attacks, Kazuma's Drain Touch, which decreases stamina, the possession of Vanir, who's a Demon General, the poison of Hans, which was practically acid, teleportation magic, certain status effects, like Freeze or Paralyze, Mind Manipulation, like hypnosis, Curses, diseases, and even Vanir's Death Ray.
Thea: Wow, that's a pretty good list. Unfortunately, she's still a pretty useless teammate.
Bryant: Yes, unfortunately. Darkness is easily the strongest out of all the party members. She's strong enough to match Beldia. Beldia is another Demon General, which means he's really powerful. In that battle, Darkness was strong enough to not only push him back, but also smash two boulders with just a swing of her sword each. Considering their size compared to Darkness, who should be around 170 cm, and assuming they were made of Ken-Betwa sandstone, this would need about 6 tons of force. She's kind of a wrecking ball. A wrecking ball that never hits. Darkness has terrible aim, unable to hit even stationary targets. Even when she does hit, it's usually down to luck.
Thea: Yeah, if she hits, she'll hit hard. But more often than not, the only thing she's hitting is air. Then again, maybe she's not even hitting air. Maybe the air molecules are moving out of the way.
Bryant: But she's surprisingly good at hand-to-hand. She's capable of catching punches and knocking opponents off their feet. But she doesn't make the most of it since it's against a crusader's nature to use anything but a sword, according to her.
Thea: She forced herself on Kazuma. She makes Kazuma look like someone who's abusive to his teammates. She insists that a real man is someone who attacks people for the heck of it. She says that a real noble is a rotten bastard. She does everything she can to let herself be hurt. Her heart broke when she was told that all the male orcs died out because that meant she would never get raped. Using fists is where she draws the line?
Bryant: Her greatest trait is her incredible durability. She's tough enough to tank a Death Ray from Vanir to the face.
Thea: Vanir's Death Ray is basically an insta-kill, being able to incinerate a person. We already went over how much energy is needed to vaporize a person in John Bertrand vs the Reaper. A total amount of 3 gigajoules of energy. That's equal to getting hit in the face by almost fifty thousand elephants! Not bad, though she was knocked out. Huh. I say 'not bad' a lot.
Bryant: But this isn't her greatest feat of durability. Darkness also took an explosion to the face. Megumin's Explosion to be specific. An explosion left a 20 meter wide crater. The force needed to accomplish this is equal to over 7 megatons of force. As Darkness was almost killed by this, this should be the limit of her durability.
Thea: Well! That's pretty good!
Bryant: A complete opposite of your usual line.
Thea: Yep. In terms of speed, she should be able to keep up with Kazuma, who can hit a Lizard Runner mid-run. And they were said to be faster than a horse, an animal that can run at 55 mph. Since Kazuma was able to kill two of them pretty easily, except for when he died, he and Darkness should be around the same level. Though she's probably just going to stand there and let them run her over..
Bryant: Okay, poking fun at Darkness is fun, but she isn't all that bad. Darkness, while a major masochist, is still a good teammate. She and Kazuma understand her weakness, and while he still doesn't like her masochist nature, Darkness has been mostly accepted by Kazuma. And while she may not be a pretty good attacker, her defensive nature has helped Kazuma quite a lot. She helped defeat Beldia, helped lead the charge against Vanir, got Kazuma out of an execution, and even helped in a charge against the Demon King's Castle.
Thea: She even became rivals with her teammate Megumin. And we all know how rivals can help characters! Wait, why did they become rivals?
Bryant: Kazuma.
Thea: …Wait.
Bryant: Kazuma eventually won the hearts of both Megumin and Darkness. And while he and Megumin are in a sort of relationship, that hasn't stopped the two girls from competing on friendly terms.
Thea: That didn't happen in the anime.
Bryant: It's in the Light Novel. Though it is worth noting that the Web Novel and Anime do have the potential to be different.
Thea: Well! Darkness may be a masochistic freak, but she did find her place in the ragtag group that is Team Kazuma. She will stand her ground and protect the people she cares about, all while fighting back a climax!
Bryant: You're being a little harsh.
Thea: Nah, she'd love this treatment if she was in real life.
(Darkness) I'm going to become a female knight imprisoned in a castle and let the henchman of the Demon King do unreasonable things with me! Ah, what should I do…?
-Line Break-
Bryant: Alright, the stage is set, time to start this dance.
Thea: Battle ready, set, GO!
-Line Break-
"Why are I breaking in here again?" Jaune groaned as he grabbed the ledge of a window and pulled himself up, into the building of a small warehouse. The blonde knight looked side by side before pulling himself inside. The knight took out his sword and slowly sneaked towards a few crates, stabbing the tip of Crocea Mors into the top of one with a snowflake on the side, using it to pull the top off. A new noise sounded out, catching his attention.
"Crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap!" Jaune panicked as he dove behind the pyramid of crates. The doors of the warehouse were pulled up, and a new figure went in. Darkness looked around with a stern look on her face.
"I know you're here! Come out!" she yelled. Jaune crouched down, but grunted as a can was knocked over. It clattered on the ground. Darkness yelped in surprise.
"Wh-what?! Is someone actually here?! Or was it a ghost?!" she shrieked. Jaune sweatdropped.
'Hm…maybe I can make her go away with some noises.' he said.
"Woooo!" he rasped. Darkness yelped again.
"There is a ghost here!" she gasped.
'Good. Now go away.' Jaune thought. Darkness surprised him by shifting all of a sudden.
"A-a ghost… Surely it's the spirit of a perverted old man!" she exclaimed loudly. Jaune paused.
'Uh…what?'
"Surely this ghost intends on capturing me, and torturing me! The vengeful spirit intends on taking out his rage and loneliness upon my body! He wishes to strip me down and take me in the cold of the warehouse, right where I am most vulnerable! He wants to lewdly torture me!" Darkness moaned. Jaune's eyes bulged.
'…what?'
"Oh, I must resist… I must not allow myself to be taken… but I can't fight a ghost! Aqua isn't here! Oh, so I will be taken, and used! Used for a person's carnage pleasures!"
'WHAT?!'
"Oh, should I do this, surely it would satisfy the ghost's desires! Such is the duty of a crusader!" she moaned.
"LIKE HELL IT IS!" Jaune screamed as he slammed his hands down on the crate. Darkness yelped as she jumped back. She calmed down at the sight of Jaune.
"Oh! A bandit! Surely he intends to-"
"No! No, no, no! Just, stop!" Jaune yelled. A ghost of an old man looked down at them with a sweatdrop.
'I did some terrible things, but that girl is too much for me.' he thought before going to the afterlife.
"Look, something is wrong with you!" Jaune scolded as he stood up. Darkness fell silent. Jaune began to feel uncomfortable under her gaze.
"…What?"
"You… you have a sword." she said. Jaune looked down at the sheathed Crocea Mors and back up to her.
"Yeah?"
"You wear the clothes of a crusader, yet you would stoop so low as to be a bandit! For shame!" she yelled, pointing an accusing finger at him. Jaune's eyes widened.
"What?! No! I'm not a bandit!" he said, backing up. He knocked the lid off the crate he was prying open, revealing the Dust crystals inside. The two were silent.
"Uh… this was already open when I got here." Jaune tried.
"You are a shame of a knight! And I will bring you to justice!" Darkness yelled as she charged towards him. Jaune quickly yanked out Crocea Mors and prepared himself.
Stay focused!
Fight!
Jaune charged back at Darkness, bringing up Crocea Mors and swinging it down towards her. Darkness stopped and held her sword sideways, blocking the attack with a loud clang. Jaune and Darkness pushed against each other before Jaune managed to push her sword to the side and kicked her back. Darkness yelped as she tripped and fell. Jaune pointed his sword towards her.
"This was easy." Jaune said. Darkness growled as she kicked his leg out from under him, sending him falling to the ground on his back with a yelp. Darkness and Jaune quickly scrambled to their feet. Jaune swung Crocea Mors towards her, forcing Darkness to block. Jaune pulled out his sheath and slammed it against her. Expanding it, the edge of the shield slammed into her cheek. Darkness yelped as she fell back. Jaune raised Crocea Mors and attacked several times, slashing her. Crocea Mors bounced off her armor, but cut her bodysuit. Jaune slammed his shield into Darkness and kneed her in the stomach. Darkness staggered back, standing upright after recovering. Jaune spun Crocea Mors before clanging it against his shield, taking a stance.
"Ha. haa…" Darkness said.
"What's next?" Jaune challenged. Darkness inhaled deeply.
"I… I will stop you! You're scum!" she declared. Jaune frowned.
"I am not!" he protested. Darkness charged towards him and leapt into the air. She brought her sword down with a loud yell.
"Oh crap!" Jaune quickly jumped to the side, rolling back on his feet. He faced Darkness and yelled as he dashed towards Darkness. Darkness brought her sword up, blocking another slash. Jaune raised his foot and kicked her. Darkness fell back, hitting another crate. Jaune quickly whipped something out and hurled it towards her. Darkness looked as it slid past her and under a crate.
"You missed!" she said.
"Did I?" Jaune said. The Shield Grenade expanded and threw a crate out, letting the rest of the pile spill down on top of Darkness. She screamed in surprise and pleasure as the crates fell down on top of her. Jaune made a sound of approval and pressed a button on his shield. The Shield Grenade shot out from the pile and slammed on his shield. He pulled it off and pocketed it.
"Well, that's that." he said. He turned and walked back to the crate he opened and grabbed the top. He pushed it back in place.
"Well, better get this back to Pietro." he said. A yell surprised him as did a loud crash. He whirled around and watched as Darkness pushed the crates off. She grabbed her sword and charged. Jaune quickly held up his shield to defend.
"Hurrah! Hyah! Toryah!" she yelled with each swing. Jaune tensed behind his shield, waiting. He slowly looked up, before looking behind him. Darkness was behind him, face slowly turning red.
"Wha… what just happened?" he said slowly. Darkness whirled around and attacked again. Jaune stood still as Darkness slashed towards him, passing him several times and slashing. Over his head. Past his hip.
"Uh, you don't really know how to fight, do you." Jaune said. Darkness reddened again.
"SILENCE!" she yelled. In anger, she reared back and socked Jaune in the face. Jaune shot into another crate, crying out in pain as he held his face. He looked between his fingers to see Darkness celebrating.
"I did it! I hit him! Ah! But to hit him with anything but a sword, such a disgrace!" she wailed as she kneeled over and pounded the fist on the floor. Jaune got up and threw his Shield Grenade under her. Darkness looked at it in surprise before it activated and sent her flying into the air. Her sword clattered on the ground. Jaune ran under her and held his shield above him. Darkness landed on the shield, activating the Gravity Dust and sending her flying again. Jaune called back his Shield Grenade back and ran after her. He sheathed Crocea Mors and turned his shield back into a sheathe
"Oh!" Darkness exclaimed as she landed. Jaune raised Crocea Mors and slashed her again, breaking her armor slightly. Darkness cried out again. Jaune attacked her again and again. He raised his sword up again, but stopped as he heard something. He stopped, and stared at her.
"Are you, are you moaning?!" Darkness froze.
"N-no! I'm crying out in pain! Pain as you unleash your hidden desires!" Darkness tried to deny, but only ended up confessing. Jaune looked at her weirdly, backing away slightly.
"What will you do next?! Will you pin me down as you rip off my armor?!" Darkness yelled. Jaune took another step back.
"Eh?"
"You bandit! I'm sure you intend to rob me, and kill me to ensure that I don't tell anyone of your dirty deeds! Or perhaps you intend to capture me and take me back to your camp so that your teammates can rape me and make me nothing more than a sex toy!" Darkness moaned loudly. Jaune jerked back.
"EH?!"
"I must resist, I must!" Darkness cried as she leapt towards Jaune. The knight yelped.
"Stay away!" he yelled as he squeezed his eyes shut and held his sword out. He felt an impact and a pained gasp. He opened his eyes and gasped at the sight of Darkness stabbed on his sword.
"I-I-I-I-I'm sorry! I didn't-"
"AAOOOOOHHHHHHH!" Darkness crowed as she pulled herself off and plopped down on her back. Jaune knelt next to her in panic.
"I can heal you, I'll just-!" he held his hands over her.
"This pain… this agony… this cold, and warmth! SOOOO GOOOODDD!" Darkness screamed as she forced Jaune's hands away.
"Hey, I'm trying to heal you, don't get off on it!" Jaune yelled as he tried to heal her again. Darkness twisted her body and kicked him away into another crate.
"Haahh! Haaaah… I can see why… Kazuma was so willing… to sacrifice himself…" Darkness moaned. Jaune stood up and hurried over to her, only to realize she was dead.
"I… I killed her… I…" he despaired before noticing something on the floor. He was silent as he stared.
"…She really did that. Now I don't know if I feel bad." he groaned, head in his hands.
KO!
Thea: You know, I don't know what I was expecting.
Bryant: Darkness did technically have more training than Jaune. And she was stronger than him. But unfortunately, Jaune simply blew her out of the water in most other categories.
Thea: Speed was pretty clear. One was horses, the other was bullets. And while Darkness did have more training, that didn't mean skill. Darkness's sword was only ever useful when it was either for defense or when she was being possessed. Meanwhile, Jaune was skilled enough to keep up with other Huntsmen in training who have been training for years.
Bryant: Speaking of defense, Jaune's Aura was much better than Darkness's armor and her durability. Jaune's Aura should be comparable to Yang's. Which we calculated to be capable of surviving a minimum of about 56.42 tons of TNT in her battle against Bakugo.
Thea: Darkness surviving the massive Explosion from Megumin is like getting hit by 1,000,000 fully grown elephants at once. But 56.42 tons of TNT is like getting hit by almost 12,436,419 fully grown elephants! And while Jaune can probably survive more since he should have more Aura than Yang, Darkness was almost killed by that explosion.
Bryant: Even if she was ten times tougher now, Jaune was still tougher, even without using his Semblance to increase his Aura strength. And while her swords and armors have been damaged by high flying cabbages and being run over by ostriches, Crocea Mors has survived being in use for generations, even going through wars with little damage. And while Crocea Mors have multiple excellent functions, Darkness's sword is just a normal sword.
Thea: It also helps that Jaune can actually hit his targets. On top of that, Jaune's Aura covered his entire body while healing him, and giving him a radar like ability, while Darkness's armor has a bunch of openings.
Bryant: And last, but not least, Jaune was smarter than Darkness. He's a natural leader, while Darkness has always relied on Kazuma to call the shots. She also has a habit of not really thinking, and while Jaune may not always be thinking, he's still a better thinker than Darkness.
Thea: Darkness is definitely a funny character, (and has a better series) but Jaune was just faster, tougher, smarter, and better equipped. Unfortunately, comedy and a better show just Arc enough. Which means the winner of this WI Battle is Jaune Arc!
I love Rwby, but I have to admit that it really fell during the years. Meanwhile Konosuba is definitely one of my favorite anime. I hope Darkness was in character in this chapter. Next, is a matchup I've been wanting to do for a while, and had to resist writing it earlier. If anyone knows who's one of my favorite fictional characters of all time, you'll know why. Tell me what you think, what you think could be better, what you thought was good, stuff like that. If you have a request, well, as per the usual, leave a review! Azure out!
Two figures walked down the halls of a school, walking towards each other. One was a female, who was slightly masculine, wearing a regular school uniform. The other was a shorter boy, who was slightly feminine, wearing a stranger uniform. The two pulled out knives, holding them at the ready. Two deadly fighters, two skilled killers. Only one victor.
NAGISA SHIOTA!
