Hello, everyone. Your girl's back to update another chapter for you all. This one will focus on Kalego. Given how he just found out about Iruma's past and how his parents were abusive to him, Kalego isn't happy to have learned how Iruma was placed in Sullivan's care. I don't own the canon characters as they rightfully belong to their owners while I only own my OC characters.
"This is the stupidest thing you've ever done!" Kalego shouted as flames of rage surround him while he stood in front of Sullivan in the latter's office.
After placing his students in the library until lunch, Kalego stormed into Sullivan's office and demanded to know why did the old demon would shamelessly bought a living child to adopted them. Given pointed just how irresponsible it was of Sullivan to placed an abused child in a new lifestyle without helping said child to adjust to their new home.
Kalego was at least grateful that Opera wasn't in the room right now. The last thing that the dark purple-haired man needed was an angry cat demon to defend their boss.
"Just what you were thinking of agreeing to give those assholes money for their son instead of alerting authorities?!" Kalego demanded as his flames grew larger as his anger did.
Sullivan already knew that Kalego would have turn out like this if the younger demon had found out about Iruma's true lineage. Though, Sullivan was half right since Kalego still wasn't unaware of Iruma's real nature yet. It amazed Sullivan that even though Kalego is an extremely smart man, the latter still hasn't figured it yet. Surely Kalego has heard stories of where humans can make demons into their familiars by the Familiar Summoning.
"I was just so lonely since Levi and Beliard kept bragging about their grandchildren. I went over all the orphanage to see if there's a perfect child that I brag to them during our meetings, Kalego-kun," Sullivan said as comic tears ran down his cheeks while rocking back and forth in his chair.
"When I came across Iruma-kun's parents, they of course offered me their son in exchange for a fortune if they give me their son. I did the only sensible of anyone in my situation would have done..," Sullivan said with a serious tone to which Kalego felt the Chair-Demon did understand Iruma's situation.
"I gladly accepted their offer without any hesitation!" Sullivan said while enjoying the disbelief look on Kalego's face.
Kalego never thought that his opinion of the Chair-Demon could even go lower than it already has. But today had shown that it's still possible for Kalego to dislike the older demon even more.
"My sweet Iruma-kun was so confused when I took him home. He almost tried to denied that his own mother and father would abandon him in such a cruel manner, but he ended correctly himself just only mid-way," Sullivan said, remembering how his adoptive grandson was afraid of him when they first met.
However, that didn't sit well with Kalego, who wanted to know the current whereabouts of Iruma's parents. Those two can't still be free without paying any kind of consequence for their abuse of Iruma. Surely Sullivan had at least punished his horrible-excused of parents to let them know who they give their son to. They must have been pretty stupid without realizing that they give their only child to someone who could send them places that no one had ever heard about or would never be heard from again.
"At least tell me the names of those people, Iruma's former employers, and his teachers, Chair-Demon. I want to give Iruma justice and closure," Kalego said, not afraid to show his newfound protectiveness towards Iruma.
Sullivan smiles at Kalego's desire to give his precious grandson justice, even when he's not unaware of the whole situation. Watching them from his office a few hours ago made the old man's heart fuzzed with happiness. All Iruma needed is telling someone about his upbringing and his parents. Even demons find child abuse disgusting, and they're supposed to be the monsters of the Human Realm.
"No need to worry, Kalego-kun. I've already taken care of that," Sullivan said as he got from his chair and looks at his window to see the students enjoying their lunch.
"You have?" Kalego asks hopefully.
The dark purple-haired man truly hopes that Sullivan brought his grandson justice after spending fourteen years of his life in Hell. Kalego couldn't help wanted to ask Sullivan where he can find the people who abused Iruma since he felt his inner demon telling him to tear out their throats and burn their corpses while he feeds their insides to Cerberion.
"Yes, but not the way you think. I simply give Iruma-kun's parents the money they wanted, but we had a deal from then on. By giving Iruma to me, they knew they gave up any guardianship they had over Iruma-kun and they can no longer have any direct contact with him. If they try to get him back in any shape or form... there will be very serious consequences if they tried to do so. As for his teachers and employers, I simply put curses on each of them who knew his home life and did nothing. So now, those fools are suffering every bad luck no matter what they try. Their business is probably either shutdown now or at the edge of being so and his teachers could lose their jobs right now," Sullivan said, getting a kick out of destroying the lives of the people who harmed his beloved grandson.
Even though none of them are in prison for their crimes, Kalego was nevertheless satisfied to know that no one is living a peaceful life for what they did to Iruma. The dark purple-haired man thought about what he's going to do now. His relationship with Iruma isn't exactly a good one but wasn't a bad one neither. He could let at least tutor the blue-haired boy with his studies to make it up to him since he barely went to school.
"You know, if you want to make sure my Iruma-kun is adjusting well, you can take him to that amusement park this weekend. Oh, it would make his heart full of joy to know that his teacher cares about!" Sullivan said as he spins around to face Kalego.
"Excuse me?" Kalego said.
"Oh, it would be wonderful for you and Iruma-kun to spend time together. After all, you are his little familiar," Sullivan said as he walks towards the dark purple-haired man and ruffles his hair.
"Don't touch me," Kalego said as he back away from the Chair-Demon.
While Sullivan was making plans for the weekend for his grandson, Kalego was uncertain of doing this. Amusement parks aren't really his thing since they're filled with obnoxious, brash, inconsiderate people there.
Kalego was a bit to say something, when the air suddenly went cold.
"Kalego-, I'm sure you'll love to take Iruma-sama with you," Opera said, appearing behind Kalego.
Kalego jump when the presence of his upperclassmen was in the office now. Opera gives a very intimidating look to their former underclassman. Seeing Opera was now here, Kalego knew that there's no way he could say no since Opera could merely take him to their old hang out and make him change his mind for Iruma's sake.
Thank you for reading this, everyone. Kalego is now forcibly going to spend time more with Iruma. Just imagine Kalego going to the amusement park with the job of taking care of Iruma there. Give me some good ideas for their relationship since it's now developing into a parent/child one. Hopefully, you guys like where the story is taking.
