Now that Seth knows the whole Truth about Sasha and Roman, the Shield have a very difficult decision to make. With the New Year just around the corner, DX do everything they can to stop things from getting out of control.

Chapter Thirteen – Game Faces

The Ortons

Randy came over to his wife who had just let Amy, Shawn, Hunter, Chyna, Hayworth, MacKenzie and the A Twins in the house. Jeff had taken Steph back to North Carolina with the Flairs after she refused to leave New York City without finding out how the hotel burned down.

Randy whispered to his wife as the DX family made themselves comfortable in the living room. "Just how much are we going to tell them about what happened?" he asked his wife.

"They don't know Sasha's pregnant for Roman so we should keep it that way until God says otherwise. As for the hotel burning down, the sooner Galina decides what she's going to do about Roman's indiscretion the better. We can't say a word until we know if she's going to go public about Roman and Sasha's affair," Trish replied and Randy rubbed the back of his neck.

"If Galina goes public, that is going to be a mess for DX. Roman and Sasha are on their roster and it could, to coin a phrase, be really bad for business if the wrestling world finds out about the baby," Randy said and Trish nodded.

"DX need to know about the affair, it would be wrong to keep them in the dark. I think Seth should tell them everything, everything except how the fire got started. We'll wait for Galina to make her decision before they know about that," Trish said and Randy shook his head.

"I told Seth not to marry the Boss now look at the mess he's in?" Randy said. "I really want to take him out from under Shawn and Amy's authority and put him under us again,"

"We're too strict, he couldn't stand reporting to us. He didn't listen to you before, what makes you think he would listen to us again? Let him stay right where he is, all we can do is continue to watch and pray that he doesn't make any more mistakes," Trish said and Randy protested.

"But he will make more mistakes Trish, he'll make even more mistakes if we don't take over from Shawn and Amy. Those two have given him nothing but bad advice and now he's giving Bianca Belair bad advice. It's time those two start walking in the prophetic and quit milking the love Gift that Amy and Shawn specialise in. They're getting soft in their old age babe," Randy said and Trish grinned.

"I couldn't imagine a worse idea than you mentoring Seth again, I think he still likes me though. It must be the boobs," Trish said with a chuckle and Randy shook his head at his wife's sense of humor.

"I like your boobs too but I'm still operating in my Gift. Seth needs me Trish, he needs me now more than ever. Will you support me when I make my case to Amy and Shawn to take over as his mentor?" Randy asked his wife and Trish rubbed his arm lovingly.

"Of course I will my love," she said and Randy grinned at her.

"Don't you go all soft on me now Patricia," he said and the Ortons walked into their living room to update the DX family on everything that happened in New York this morning, while sending Seth a text to join them asap.

In the kitchen, Roman and Galina sat in silence, just staring at each other while Dean leaned by the sink observing them both. Alexa had gone to get Renee from the airport with Sasha, leaving the three alone together for the first time since the father of Sasha's baby was revealed to be Roman. It was a tense, uncomfortable situation in the kitchen, which was unusual for Roman because it was where all the food was. The kitchen was normally his favourite part of the house but today, it was a criminal interrogation room. Roman was so sure Galina was going to leave him and he was beyond devastated about everything that had happened. As he looked into his wife's face, she was still the most beautiful woman he'd ever known. He could see how much he'd hurt her and he knew she could see how he was hurting. He was hurting so much his heart felt like it weighed a thousand pounds.

"I still want to be with you Galina but after everything we've been through, if this baby is the final straw, I won't fight you. I just want you to know I never meant to hurt you," Roman said and Galina choked on her tears.

"I know you never meant to hurt me Roman, but I am hurting and nothing you can say is going to change that," Galina said and she pressed her hands against her head to try an relieve the tension brooding there. "I talked to Trish and she made me realise that this baby can either be the thing that proves I had every right not to trust you after you cheated on with me Sasha Banks, or it can be the thing that makes me a better person, instead of a bitter person," Galina paused before continuing and she shook her head while biting her lip with tears streaming down her face. Dean Ambrose started to tear up too, he couldn't stand to see how much Roman and Galina were hurting but he knew they loved each other so much. "I don't want to be bitter Roman, I want to be a good role model for our children and I've been a damn good wife to you. So tell me what I have to do to make you happy? Tell me what it will take for you to stay with me and not wander off when some hot looking broad reaches out to you for emotional support?" Galina's face crumbled again and Dean broke into tears at her attempt to reconcile with Roman, "I love you so much and I've decided to stay with you,"

Roman dropped to his knees and grabbed his wife's legs balling over her feet in tears of joy and pain. Dean couldn't help but smile through his tears and Galina joined Roman on the kitchen floor and they cried over each other while Dean left to find Seth and tell him the good news.

"We need a way forward; we need to find a way back to each other. I just need you to stay happy Roman, please don't hurt me again," Galina said and Roman hugged his wife and they rocked back and forth.

"I'm sorry for messing up our marriage, I'm sorry for not being there for you when you needed me the most and I'm sorry for not being happy," Roman said with tears streaming down his face. "but I'm happy now, I've never been happier in my life! Now let's talk about the baby, we can't move forward until we decide what we're going to do about the baby as a family,"

Galina smiled at Roman, "We'll talk about that later, right now I need you to make love to me, right here in this beautiful house, on the kitchen floor," his wife said amorously and Roman couldn't believe the turn in his fortune.

"Kitchen floor sex, my day just got so much better!" Roman said. "Someone must be praying for me,"

Galina touched her husband's face lovingly, "You mean for us," she said and Roman squeezed her hand lovingly.

"Yes, for us," he replied, Galina and Roman both realising that someone was indeed praying for them and his name was Seth Rollins. "We have to do something nice for Seth, I mean like, incredible. He's such a good dude,"

"I'll send him a nice fruit basket," Galina replied and she kissed Roman passionately and as they proceeded to make love on the cold kitchen floor, their marriage went from freezing to scolding hot. Seth's prayer had indeed been answered and when Dean rushed into Trish and Randy's bedroom to tell Seth that Galina and Roman had made up, it was just confirmation.

"I know," Seth replied with a gentle smile and Bianca Belair wiped tears from her eyes with her braid.

"I can't believe God answered your prayer," she said to Seth, "even nasty Roman gets a second chance. God is so good,"

Dean looked at Seth in awe, "You prayed for Roman and Galina to stay together? After everything Roman put you through? Seth, you're too good!" he said impressed and he hugged Seth lovingly.

"Easy Ambrose. I gotta go, the Ortons want me to come downstairs and tell the DX family about the baby," Seth said and Dean broke the hug.

"Gees, I couldn't think of a worse thing to have to tell your boss," Dean said.

"I'd rather do it now then when Sasha's here. I'm already on thin ice with Hunter and I don't want him to say anything that'll upset her," Seth said and he took Bianca by the hand. "Come on let's go, I could do with the support,"

"You got it Prayer Warrior," Bianca said and Dean Ambrose followed them anxiously downstairs. They walked towards the living room where the DX family were waiting and Dean quickly closed the kichen door. "What is that noise?"

"Urgh, kitchen floor sex is the worst," Seth said making an ugly face as Bianca realised what was going on in the Ortons' kitchen.

"I told you that dude is nasty. Having sex in other people's kitchens?! Roman Reigns is not for real, you wait til we all go back to LA, I'm a chew his a* out for being such a nasty b*!" Bianca said and Seth nodded feeling nauseous.

"I actually agree with you on that E S T. Sex and food just do not go together. I know Bliss would fight me on that but, Dean why don't you wait out here and make sure no-one goes into the kitchen for awhile?" Seth said and Dean saluted Seth before putting in his ear buds.

"I'm on it," he said as Bianca Belair shuddered in revulsion.

"Nasty a* Roman Reigns," she said in derision and she walked into the Ortons' living room with Seth's hand in her own and the Prayer Warrior took a deep breath as the DX family sat together, looking over at him waiting for him to tell them what on Earth happened in New York.

Bianca squeezed Seth's hand supportively, "I'm here for you," she told him and Seth nodded as the feelings he'd been carrying around for the last 48 hours rose to the surface as he gave a download of the most recent events in his life to the people who knew him and Sasha so well. Amy was sad, Shawn was concerned and Hunter was unreadable. As Seth told everyone what happened between Roman and Sasha, each DX family member reacted differently but they all had one thing in common: they cared about him and Sasha, Roman and the baby. It was clear that Seth was not in trouble and he had no reason to fear that he would be, only Hunter remained silent as Seth poured his heart out to the wrestling dynasty. After Seth was done talking he got hugs from Amy, Shawn and Chyna but Hunter remained seated.

"If there's anything we can do Seth, just let us know okay?" Amy said through tears and Seth nodded.

"Thanks Amy but I really think everything is going to be okay. Roman and Galina are going to stay together and Sasha and me are going to raise the baby together. It's all good," Seth said and Hunter got up and walked out of the room.

Shawn saw the look on Hunter's face and explained it away to Seth, "I think he just needs a minute Seth, he's probably just gone out for some air. He'll be fine, all that matters is that you, Sasha and Roman are okay. Are you okay kid?" Shawn asked Seth who nodded with a smile and he squeezed Bianca's hand.

"I'm fine," he said and Bianca gave him a hug. "Can I go now?"

"Sure just know we're here for you, all of you. If you ever need to talk about anything, we're just a text message away," Chyna said and she looked Bianca Belair up and down impressed, "I love your new muscle. She's my black 2.0,"

Bianca blushed at the compliment from the 9th Wonder of the World, "Actually she's one of a kind Joanie. There's only one Bianca Belair," Seth said.

"This ain't about me right now," Bianca said gushing and it was clear to everyone in the room that Seth was proud of her.

"No this is about you Bianca, its about your future in our business and your development as a soldier in the army of the Lord. If you're going to be Seth's Treasurer of Secrets you need the best possible support and I believe that it would be best if you and Seth come under the mentorship of the Truth: Trish Stratus and the King's Oracle, yours truly, Randy Orton," Randy Orton said and Shawn and Amy gasped.

"What?!" they said in unison.

"You heard us, which is rare because you never listen to a thing Randy and me say," Trish said and the Michaels and the Ortons degenerated into yet another argument about their Gifts from God. Seth and Bianca left them to argue and walked over to Hayworth, MacKenzie and the A Twins.

Mac was in tears and Hayworth was comforting her and the A Twins were smiling at all of Bianca Belair's muscles.

"Your muscle sure is hot Seth Rollins," Angela Jericho said and Bianca smiled modestly.

"All these compliments, you DX kids are too much," Bianca said.

Mac blew her nose on a Kleenex handed to her by Hayworth, "This is all too much. Now I know why you were so upset last night Seth; your wife is pregnant for your best friend. You should have told me what happened, maybe I could have helped," Mac said and Seth hugged Bianca affectionately.

"There's only one woman that can help me now Mac and you're looking at her. Bianca should be your mentor, she could teach you how to be a good wife when the time comes for you two to get married," Seth said and now it was Mac's turn to blush. Her tears quickly dried up at the mention of her own personal life and Hayworth kissed her hand lovingly.

"Yeah, about that," Hayworth said to Seth, "there's a reason my father just walked outta here when you told him Sasha's having Roman's baby. He's pissed about something else that happened last night and he's got it in his head that it's your fault it happened,"

Seth frowned at Hayworth, "What else happened last night?" he asked Hunter's firstborn son.

"I proposed to MacKenzie and she said yes," Hayworth said and Seth's face lit up and he grabbed MacKenzie and swung her around joyfully.

MacKenzie smiled as Seth spun her around and Hayworth tried to interrupt Seth's jubilation to explain why his father was pissed at him.

"Congratulations Mac!" Seth said finally letting the Pastor's daughter back on the ground.

MacKenzie giggled happily, "I sent you like a thousand text messages but I guess you were dealing with all this other stuff," she said.

"So why is Hunter pissed at me?" Seth asked Hayworth.

"When I told him about the engagement he asked me why I was moving so fast and I told him I wanted what you and Sasha had. He hung up on me and when I tried to call him back he wouldn't answer," Hayworth said and now Seth was the one that was pissed.

Seth marched out of the Ortons living room and went outside to find Hunter taking Bianca with him. He saw Hunter staring at the Manhattan skyline in quiet contemplation so he interrupted him rudely.

"Hunter!" Seth yelled and Hunter turned to the side without making eye contact, "What the Hell is your problem? Why aren't you talking to Hayworth, do you have a problem with his fiancé? If you have a problem with Mac then you have a problem with me,"

Hunter turned all the way around to face Seth and Bianca gulped. She'd never seen Hunter look so angry and Seth felt her grip on his hand weaken. He squeezed her hand back to encourage her not to be intimidated by the Game. Seth could read Hunter's looks like a book and the look on Hunter's face was one of the worst he'd ever seen.

"You're right Seth; I got a big problem with you and the influence you're having on my son, on my business and on the future of the DX family," Hunter said and Seth took a deep breath.

"This is going to get ugly," he told Bianca who nodded.

"Do you want me to go?" she asked Seth.

"No you stay right here and watch your mentor do what he does best: play the Game," Seth said and he released Bianca's hand and walked up to Hunter to have the uncomfortable conversation they started to have at the DX Christmas Party.

The next few minutes were going to be anything but merry but at least the happy noises coming from the kitchen reminded Bianca of how much nicer things had gotten since she revealed the big secret to the Shield a few days ago. If things fell apart between Seth and the DX family, at least the Shield was still intact and that was something she could be happy about.

"Maybe this assignment isn't so bad after all," she said to herself as Seth and Hunter degenerated into a code red argument about the last 24 hours and some other stuff mixed in that changed Seth's future at DX Inc from hopeful to bleak.
