...
Soredn zipped up his bag when he'd finished packing and swung it over his shoulder. Thanks to Captain Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise, the Shi'ar prince was back with his people. The low-lifes that'd hired him were behind bars, so both men were safe.
For now.
Walking down the ship's corriders Soredn took in the sights and sounds of the crew. Security officers making their rounds and ensigns running errands. The starship was busy and alive with activity. A big difference from his own ship.
With a sigh he entered the turbo lift and grabbed a handle. "Launch Bay."
There was an officer next to him, and at first he didn't pay him much mind. But a closer look at the man's uniform put him on alert. It was red, like security's, but it had black along the shoulders and four pips on the collar.
Discreatly, Soredn reached for his blaster, only to find his a banana in its place.
"Problem?" The stranger asked, noticing his baffled face.
Eyes narrowed in suspision, Soredn faced the strange man. "Who are you?"
Ever cocky, the man leaned against the wall, looking to all like a man without a care in the world. "I'm Q. You may have heard of me."
"Nope."
"Hm, how unfortunate. No matter. I'm here to introduce you to an old friend of yours."
Brow raised, Soredn asked, "Who?"
"Do you remember Ultron?"
