I wasn't a writer here 4 years ago, and I had stopped visiting the site at that time, as my mind wasn't on fanfiction back then. But 2017 onwards I started coming here regularly again. Guest 5: Thanks for the review. Thanks and glad that was the best part of this story. I was very happy to bring her back too, she was amazing, my 3rd favorite female Buffyverse character and 6th favorite Buffyverse character overall, plus she was amazing and wonderful, and so did not deserve what she got. Poor Tara. Every single death in Buffyverse broke my heart, but Tara and Cordelia are two I will never get over, like ever! At least I brought Tara back in this though. Not seen 'Charmed' yet but it is on my watchlist, the original one that is, not gonna bother with the remake as I can already tell its a crappy, unneeded remake of a classic show.
Chapter 13- Lawyered
Earth-92, Los Angeles, Hyperion Hotel
Oz walked down with Nina Ash as Angel asked them. "So, you two accomplished anything all the time you were up there?"
"Yeah", Nina said as she and Oz exchanged a look. "I am useful in a fight now."
"Good, we're gonna need you all", Angel said.
"What happened down here?" Oz then asked. "I heard a lot of fighting, and then some slapping, then yelling."
"An entire Season of a show happened while you two were up there", Angel said before walking off as Oz and Nina exchanged a look and shrugged.
"Hey, I break the 4th wall, goddamn Seeley Booth!" Wade said to Angel, pointing a finger at him as Angel exchanged weird looks with the rest.
Same time
Strange stood on a rooftop and looked up with wide eyes as a portal started opening in the sky.
"The Senior Partners are not going to hold back this time", Fate said as he appeared next to Strange. "They may not be the most powerful, but the ones they employ with promises usually are."
"Yes, that's what I'm worried about", Strange nodded.
As several Demons descended from the sky, powerful lightning bolts from Thor, Aragorn and Storm, and powerful Heat Vision from Kal and Kara destroyed many of them. As the Demons turned to them, Cordelia the Dragon destroyed them with fire.
On ground, more Demons charged the Heroes but they were prepared, as they charged back at them. Legolas, Oliver, Ollie and Roy fired their arrows, with the former two's being enchanted and the latter two's being technological. The enchanted arrows spewed fire and ice, while the technological one multiplied and hit some more Demons, shocking them and taking them down.
Bart, Barry and Pietro then ran together, all punching the Demons here and there, and as some Demons fired projectiles, Wanda flew up into the air and generated a barrier, protecting everyone, with Willow and Tara flying up next to her holding hands.
Willow used her magic to conjure some knives as Wanda used her powers to speed them at their opponents, taking more down, and then Willow and Tara used their combined telekinetic power to blow multiple enemies away.
"You are like Willow and Buffy in one", Tara commented to Wanda, who just smiled and nodded in appreciation.
"That's what I said", Willow told Tara.
The other Heroes reached closer as Steve turned into 'American Lantern' and flew up alongside Tony, Tess, Rhodes, Sam Wilson, John Jones and John Stewart. Steve fired multiple projectiles, including hammers looking like Mjolnir, missiles, and boulders, while Stewart fired missiles and turrets, and Tony fired his repulsors, with Rhodes firing missiles and his shoulder machine gun as well. Wilson fired from his Steyr SPP Pistols, and Tess fired her cyclones around, while also twirling in the air, and Jones sped around at the opponents, taking them down with his phasing or fireballs from his palms.
The rest of the ground forces got into the thick as well, with Parker flipping around and kicking or webbing opponents, and Buffy using the M? to skewer anyone coming close to her. Angel, Spike, Blade, Faith, Marc, Connor, Gimli, Boromir, Arwen, Illyria, Gunn, Natasha, Bucky, Parker, Matt, Elektra, Frank, Luke, Danny, Colleen, Melinda, Daisy, Bobbi, Hunter, Mack, Sara, Nyssa, Slade, Patty, Cisco, Caitlin and the rest used their melee weapons fighting, powers, hand-to-hand and guns in coordination, killing more Demons before they could do much damage.
Logan roared and leapt into the midst of the Demons with his flaming claws, disintegrating them with his slices, while Blaze rammed his bike into them, and twirled his chain, burning even more, Reyes doing the same as well.
Gandalf and Merlin formed a barrier together, stopping their opponents in their tracks, and then slammed their staffs on the ground, the shockwave destroying the insides of many Demons, while Lena deflected strikes of a Demon close by and flipped it to the ground, taking it down.
"Ready Nina?" Oz asked Nina Ash in a corner.
"Yes", Nina nodded. "Let's do this."
The two transformed into werewolves together, Nina obviously being bigger and stronger as her species was rarer, and both leapt at 2 Demons together, fighting them and ripping them apart.
Gwen Stacy flipped an enemy to the ground and spin kicked another away before webbing up another. Then her Spider-sense tingled as she turned to see one leaping at her but it was hit by electricity, tossing it away, and she turned to see Gwen Raiden lowering her hand.
"I wish I could do that", Stacy said.
Looking around at all the powerful people on their side, Raiden muttered. "I wish I could do all of that."
Parker hit a Demon with webbing and twirled it around, hitting a few more, before tossing it away. "Hell yeah!"
A giant Demon rose up but Arthur rammed into it, sending it crashing away as he smirked and said. "Now all I need to finish this is a sword."
Blade stabbed his sword through a Demon and putting his gun on its shoulder, fired behind the Demon, killing a few more coming from behind him. "See? I shot my gun from someone else's shoulder!"
He did a spin motion and chopped off another's head. "Fuck yeah."
Tyrone banished 3 Demons into the Darkforce while Tandy generated powerful light, making them cover their eyes as they were blinded and staggered back.
"Have I ever said how well we work together?" Tyrone asked her as he took 2 more Demons down.
"No, but you're right about it", Tandy said as she conjured a dagger and hurled it at a Demon, hitting its throat as it was taken down too.
Alex fired his gun at a Demon, staggering it back, but it came at him, only for a fireball from Dawn to send it away, as the two teenagers smiled at each other.
"Give some to me", Nico said.
"Sure", Dawn said as she chanted and conjured another fireball, hurling it at Nico's staff who multiplied it into multiple and hurled those at many Demons, sending them all down, while Karolina fired down from above, sending a few of them flying off.
"Hell yeah, this is awesome!" Chase said, firing his Fistigons. "We are fighting alongside the Avengers, and many other badass superheroes, and we got to see a big Dinosaur."
Old Lace ripped apart a Demon and roared at Chase, making him say. "Sorry."
"You hurt his feelings, you need to do better than 'sorry'", Gert said to him.
"He's not going to", Molly said as she punched a Demon down.
Hulk grabbed a giant Demon and used him as a club, hitting other Demons with his body as all were sent flying here and there before Hulk spun him around and threw him into the others as well, taking them all out.
Chloe and Kate fired their guns side by side, with Lois striking down two Demons nearby on hitting their precise points.
"I am guessing we'll be full time members of the League now", Lois said to Chloe.
"Yeah, just need to think up new codenames", Chloe said as Wonder Woman leapt near them and sliced down two Demons before slamming her bracelets, sending some more flying back.
"You can name yourself after Amazon warriors", Wonder Woman offered them as a batarang from Knight hit another Demon and exploded, taking it down while he leapt near them too.
"You think so?" Lois asked.
"Yes, you two are brave and skilled warriors", Wonder Woman said and both were flattered, since this was high praise coming from Wonder Woman herself.
"Or since Barbara is gone right now and Dick is Nightwing, one of you can be Robin", Knight offered as a missile from Vic nearby destroyed another Demon and AC swept another away with waves.
Piotr punched a Demon down as Kitty did a flip to avoid another's strike and landed, turning intangible to let another Demon's punch pass through her as it hit the one behind her, and then she turned tangible and twisted his arm, making him snarl before punching him out.
"So you have powers of intangibility and now you're a Slayer too", Violet said to her as she threw a Demon down and stabbed it. "Nice combination."
"Yeah, everyone would kill for those", Satsu agreed as she drove her sword through another Demon's gut.
"Well, I guess I am lucky there", Kitty shrugged as the 3 and Piotr fought more Demons coming at them.
Strange and Fate looked up as the latter asked. "You don't think they are going to show up, do you?"
"No, I really think they are going to send powerful people instead", Strange said.
That was when 2 portals opened on the ground and out of one leapt a giant white monster with long hair and beard and a skull like face, and some armor on him, and from the other leapt out a giant roaring beast.
"And here they are", Fate said as he looked at the white monster. "The Piecemeal."
"And the Wendigo. The most powerful one in existence", Strange said as he looked at the other one, both roaring as they charged at the army of the Heroes to cause some havoc.
Fate used a barrier to stop them but their powerful punches shattered it as Hulk roared and leapt at Wendigo, both being tackled on the ground as they rolled and got up, and Wendigo punched Hulk back before he blocked the second hit and punched Wendigo back as well.
The two were in a deadlock, trying to overpower each other.
At the same time, Piecemeal fired an electric blast, hitting Parker and Stacy as they were sent down while he then grabbed a Slayer, making her scream as he absorbed her slowly.
That was when Piecemeal was sliced by a sword as Etrigan faced him with John Jones, while he backed off, letting the Slayer go as she fell down and gasped.
"I am guessing you were promised something by the Senior Partners", Jones said to Piecemeal who simply growled.
Etrigan said to Piecemeal. "All honey and lies, the reward shall be your demise."
Piecemeal tried to strike with his claws but Etrigan blocked with his sword and kicked him back while Jones flew down to the Slayer, sensing her thoughts and memories had been absorbed, and touched her forehead, helping her out as her breath relaxed and she slowly became normal again.
Piecemeal tried to strike Etrigan but the Demon dodged and kicked him hard, sending him flying back again before leaping with the sword but Piecemeal rolled away at the last moment to avoid.
Wendigo managed to toss Hulk away and as he turned around, Wendigo grabbed him by the throat and punched him multiple times before Hulk blocked the blow and pushed him back, making him stand back up.
That was when Kal landed next to Hulk. Wendigo tried to punch but Kal effortlessly avoided with his speed and sent Wendigo flying into the air with a punch while Kara kicked him hard, sending him tolling away as his skin was shredded.
The two flew down to him but he was up again and healed.
"I hate it when that happens", Kara said.
"Yes, it's really annoying", Kal agreed as both fired Heat Vision together, making Wendigo scream in pain as he kneeled on the ground, slowly dying while Hulk walked up next to the two.
They stopped and it seemed like Wendigo was dead. Then suddenly he healed and got back up with a roar.
"Oh come on!" Kal said when powerful lightning hit Wendigo from above, sending him flying back again as Thor, Aragorn and Storm hovered.
Aragorn then hurled Mjolnir at him and it sent him flying back by a few feet while Thor sliced his chest with Stormbreaker and hit him with some more lightning, sending him back again. Storm hurled powerful winds at him, and he struggled before he was sent rolling away into the water.
"Hope that did it", Thor said, only for a healed Wendigo to jump out of the water, making them all groan.
"And you had to jinx it", Storm commented as Hulk and Wendigo clashed fists, the shockwave making a nearby building shatter.
Wanda telekinetically lifted Wendigo up, trying to disintegrate him, but he was stronger and broke free, staggering her back as Willow and Tara fired flames at it, with Thor, Aragorn and Storm adding lightning and Kal and Kara adding Heat Vision.
It roared in pain once more, its skin melting away from all the heat as it staggered around before eventually collapsing to the ground, dead.
Willow then noticed Tara had a grim expression.
"What is it, Tara?" Willow asked.
"It is not dead, I can feel it", Tara said as the Wendigo healed and rose again with a roar, making them groan as they prepared to fight it once more.
Piecemeal had grabbed Etrigan and was slowly absorbing his thoughts, trying to wither him away like that when he screamed and staggered back in pain, the thoughts of the Demon being too much for him to handle.
"People haven't tried to enter my mind a lot", Etrigan said, wielding his sword. "But now you shall be a victim to my thoughts."
Piecemeal's pained screams confirmed that statement before Etrigan stabbed him through the throat with his sword, making him gasp in pain as he backed off while Etrigan pulled out his sword and Piecemeal collapsed to the ground, finally dead.
Thor had just sliced Wendigo brutally, followed by Kal punching him up into the air as Aragorn struck his head with Mjolnir, making him crash down again.
As he staggered up, Logan struck his foot with his flaming claws, making him scream in pain before he kicked Logan away, only for Hulk to punch him away as well.
Steve formed a fist and punched Wendigo, staggering him back before forming a giant hammer and bringing it down on him again and again, and Stewart made a tank and it fired multiple shells, all hitting Wendigo and burning up his skin as he screamed in pain.
"I have a feeling those are going to regenerate", Kara said as she rammed down on him from above, forming a crater in the ground as well.
Fate and Strange then flew next to them.
"Any ideas?" Kara asked.
"Yes", Fate told them. "Go for the heart."
"It cannot regenerate from that", Strange agreed. "Though it has to be ripped out as well."
As Wendigo staggered up again, Buffy leapt at his chest with a flip and rammed the M? inside, hitting his heart directly as he screamed in pain, this time falling on his knees as Buffy pulled her weapon out and flipped back.
Blaze then struck Wendigo with his chain, the chain going through his skin as it wrapped Wendigo's heart, and then Blaze pulled, pulling the heart out and tossing it to Kara, who crushed it in her hand while Wendigo collapsed to the ground, this time truly did.
"I guess that covers it", Buffy said.
"Yes, you would be right this time Lady Summers", Aragorn agreed before twirling Mjolnir and flying off.
Strange started. "So any tricks still up their-"
That was when a rip in the Dimension appeared right in front of where Angel and Connor were fighting side by side.
"I am thinking that would be it", Fate said.
There was a gargantuan beast of incalculable size on the other side of the portal, and Connor instantly recognized the background.
"Quor'toth", he said to Angel as father and son exchanged a concerned look. From where she was standing, Illyria looked concerned as well.
"What is it?" Arwen asked Illyria.
"It is an Old One they face", Illyria said. "They cannot win this."
Before anyone could do a thing, the Old One fired some kind of mystical breath at both Angel and Connor, making them choke and cough as they fell to their knees, feeling the life being choked out of them.
More Demons surrounded them, beating them down, adding to their pain.
"Co…nnor!" Angel rasped, reaching out to him.
"Dad!" Connor coughed, trying to reach out to him as well as he fell on his back. Then suddenly there was no one around him and he was not choking anymore.
He got up, looking around.
"Connor!"
Connor turned to see a beautiful, blonde woman in a red dress walking to him, and immediately recognized her.
"Mom", he whispered to her as Darla walked to him and grasped him by the shoulder, tears in her eyes and a smile on her face.
"You look much better from the last time I saw you, my son", Darla said as she stroked his cheek.
Angel found himself in a completely white background, and it looked like Heaven to him.
"Hey champ."
Angel looked up to see Cordelia looking down on him with a kind smile. She held out her hand and Angel took it, letting her help him up.
"Cordy", he whispered to her. "I'm dead, am I? I mean, not undead, dead!"
"No you're not", she said to him. "You're hanging between life and death right now."
"Well, let it end then", Angel scoffed in self-loathing. "Whenever people try to help me, they die. Just look at you, Fred, Wesley, Doyle. Sure Fred is back, but she was gone for a while, and now she has lost Wesley."
"I am sorry, mom", Connor said to Darla, looking right into her eyes. "I didn't listen to you last time. I killed an innocent woman, even though you repeatedly told me not to. You came back from the afterlife to guide me, and I didn't listen!"
"You were a broken child, my son, raised by a man who hated me and your father for something that can never be undone", Darla said sadly, cupping his face in her hands. "So your sense of right and wrong was warped, and anyone could manipulate you rather easily."
"Still, I was wrong, I did horrible things", Connor said with tears in his eyes. "I locked up my dad in a box and threw him into the ocean. I trusted the man who hated both of you more than him. I slept with my own surrogate mother, and I supported killing my dad over returning his soul. You must be ashamed of me."
"No, I could never be. Disappointed, yes, but not ashamed of you", Darla told him, as they looked into each other's eyes. "You have done many terrible things, Connor. But you are here, fighting side by side with your father even though you don't have to. Tell me, would you have done this before?"
Connor had no answer as Darla said. "See? It shows you are a changed man now."
"I lost myself, Cordy", Angel said to her, ashamed of himself. "You came back to get me on track, and I did even more horrible things."
"But you got back up even after that", Cordelia reminded, holding his hands. "Get up and fight."
"Not this time", Angel shook his head. "I've given up the Shanshu to stop the Circle of Black Thorn. It's over for me." He held her hand. "I'm ready to move on."
"But it's not your time yet", Cordelia said. "You can still fulfill your destiny. They never filed it."
"What?" Angel stiffened.
"Your contract, that you'd give up the prophecy. They never filed it to the Senior Partners. You can still be the Vampire with the soul, who beats the apocalypse", Cordelia said. "There are people who still need you. Your son, Fred, Gunn, Illyria, Buffy, the entire Multiverse."
"What are you saying?" Angel asked.
"The apocalypse the Shanshu mentioned is coming closer day by day", Cordelia said to Angel. "And the Multiverse will need you, and many others to fight it. So, what's it going to be?"
Angel considered. He had almost given up, but Cordelia was right. There were many who needed him, and if this apocalypse wasn't far off, he had to stand and fight.
"You died so I could live", Connor said to Darla. "I appreciate that now."
"Yes, I did. So do just that, live", Darla said to Connor, kissing his forehead gently. "I love you, son."
"I love you too, mom", Connor said as they shared a hug.
"It's not my time yet", Angel said as he kissed Cordelia. "I'm not giving up yet. It's not over yet."
"I'll be waiting", Cordelia said as she returned the kiss. "Now go. Be what they need you to be. Be the champion."
Angel looked at Cordelia one last time as they smiled at each other.
Angel and Connor both stood back up, reinvigorated, as Connor swung his scythe, chopping down multiple Demons, and Angel struck around with his sword, killing more of them. Buffy, Spike, Faith and Marc arrived to help them as Buffy took down more Demons with the M? and Faith chopped off one's head before kicking another away, and Marc smacked two down and also stabbed another, while Spike punched one down and stabbed another.
Thor and Aragorn hit the Old One with their full lightning, managing to push it back with their power as it screamed in pain and anger, but it was too powerful to be mortally wounded by it.
"What do we do now?" Thor wondered.
"Scream and raise your power", Aragorn suggested.
Willow flew down and pointed at a mountain behind the Old One in the portal, telekinetically lifting it up, using all of her power as her hair went white, and then she slammed it down on the Old One, shattering the entire mountain as the Old One roared in pain and anger again, but wasn't wounded much.
Willow staggered back, feeling weakened, as Tara supported her.
Kal and Kara rushed at the Old One, punching it together, and it was pushed back again but it was still not affected much and blew them both back with a powerful breath.
Strange then flew down, the Eye of Agamotto glowing as he said. "Distract it while I close this rip."
Thor, Aragorn and Storm fired lightning together while Kal and Kara fired Heat Vision, Wanda fired a powerful blast, and Fate and Tara fired some flames together, with Constantine coming up and adding his own. "Old Ones, damn nasty buggers! Never met one before though!"
Strange turned his hand counterclockwise as the Old One roared in pain while its skin started burning up finally, and it moved forward, trying to slowly move out of the portal, but Strange reduced its size and finally managed to close it, sealing the Old One back on the other side.
"Damn! And I thought Illyria was something when she had powers", Angel said.
"I heard of the Old One in Quor'toth, but never encountered it in all my years staying there", Connor said.
"That Old One is Quor'toth", Strange revealed as all looked at him. "The Dimension was named after him."
"Well, I can see why they call it the worst of Hells", Connor commented.
"Oh I doubt it compares to actual Hell", Thor said.
"Yeah, that was the worst", Kal sighed.
Fate and Strange nodded and flew up as Strange said. "I think this ends their bag of tricks."
"Let's not take any chances though", Fate said as he opened a portal himself.
Then another rip started opening up in the sky as Fate and Strange realized the Senior Partners were trying to banish LA to a Hell Dimension.
"Yeah, let's not", Strange agreed as they flew into Fate's portal together.
The Senior Partners' Dimension
The Wolf, The Ram and The Heart were around a mystical fire, chanting around it as they performed the ritual to banish LA to a Hell Dimension.
Then the fire was hit by mystical ice, extinguishing it as they turned to see Fate and Strange hovering in the air.
"You dare!" They roared, hitting Fate together with mystical lightning as he staggered back before recovering.
Strange formed a sword and twirled it. "The three of you have tried corrupting multiple Earths with your law firms and political connections. But no more bargains shall be made."
The Senior Partners formed swords of their own and struck as Strange blocked one of their attacks and ducked to avoid another before being kicked by the third, while Fate formed a sword of his own and joined the fray, deflecting the attack of the first one and kicking the second back.
Strange then fought two of them simultaneously as they tried to strike him from both sides, blocking their blows and trying to strike in a spin motion as both backed off to avoid.
Strange stood in the middle and gave a fake strike to one, making him back off before both attacked again and he deflected their blows.
They backed him slowly but Strange struck their swords hard, making them lower those as he then elbowed one of them, sending him down. As he recovered, Strange dueled with the other one.
Fate dueled the remaining one during that time, both seeming evenly matched. Then they backed and circled each other before dueling again as Fate backed a little and was almost struck but used his hand to push the sword away.
The two then dueled again as the Partner did a spin motion, continuing the duel, only to be sliced above the knee as he gasped.
Strange managed to push his opponent away and turned around as the previous one charged again. Strange blocked his blows before pushing him back and turning around, dueled the other one before throwing him down.
He got up and they dueled again before Strange got on his side. The other one leapt at him but Strange deflected his blow, making him back off too.
The three then circled each other before both attacked Strange from both sides. Strange deflected one's blows before elbowing his neck in a spin motion and dueled the other, kicking him away in a spin motion too.
Strange then deflected the previous one's attacks who then tried to kick him in a spin motion but Strange put the sword in the way and his ankle was cut, making him gasp as Strange then sliced his side and then his back before hitting his head with the sword, sending him to his knees.
Fate and his partner were still dueling, with Fate cutting his shoulder. The Partner charged but Fate grabbed and pushed him back.
Before he could charge again, Fate elbowed his face and cut his chest, making him gasp.
Strange blocked the other Partner's strikes and kicked him back in a spin motion before slicing his knee as he went down too.
Strange and Fate then backed off together, their swords disappearing as the Partners staggered back up.
"Disappointing, isn't it?" Fate asked.
"Yeah", Strange nodded. "I mean, I know they don't have the raw power of Dormammu, Trigon, Mephisto, Phoenix Force, Mxyzptlk or any Old Ones, Elder Gods or Hell Gods, but I expected them to pack a better punch."
"The apocalypse shall be brought forth", all three said in unison. "A Crisis this Multiverse shall not survive, not even you, human Sorcerers."
"Yes, it will come", Strange said.
"But you will not be the ones to play a part in it", Fate finished. "Fate has decreed you shall not bring any apocalypse anymore."
The three roared, firing their lightning together but Strange and Fate overpowered theirs with a mystic blast and a blast of flames respectively, sending their lightning back as the blasts hit them hard, making them scream as they were pushed back.
"Allow me to introduce my own Partners." Strange rotated his arms with Eldritch energy coating his hands. Tao Mandalas of white, green, and blue formed around the Sorcerer, creating a triangle with him at the center. "Omnipotent Oshtur," the image of a woman's head appeared in the white, "Eye of Agamotto," in blue was the head of the first Sorcerer, "and the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth!" A roar came from the green as a tiger's head materialized. "Ageless Vishanti, by your will, by your might, I ask of the...CAST THEM DOWN!"
The three circles converged into one big gold Mandala in front of Strange and unleashed a stream of raw magic energy that engulfed the three beings and destroyed them bit by bit until nothing was left of them.
"How's that for a human Sorcerer?"
Same time, Earth-92, Los Angeles
Marc kicked a Demon away and punched another when one stabbed him with a rebar through the chest, making him fall down. Faith punched his face angrily and snapped his neck. As another came, it suddenly disintegrated.
Faith looked around, and everyone else did as well, as all of the Demons, small, big, ground based or flying, disintegrated into nothingness.
"I guess the Senior Partners got lawyered", Matt said, making others around him chuckle.
"Since the battle is fought and won, Jason Blood with me is done", Etrigan said before transforming back into Blood.
"Marc!" Faith said, kneeling near him as she took off his hood and mask and held his face. "Marc, hey! Come on, wake up!"
No response!
"Marc!" Faith yelled, shaking his face. "Come on! What's a little metal inside you? I got it too once! It doesn't do much! Well, other than a coma, but we're better than that now, aren't we?"
"His heart is still beating", Matt suddenly said as all looked between him and Marc.
Suddenly, Marc gasped as his eyes opened. His eyes then fell on the rebar sticking out of his chest and grasping it, he grunted, pulling it out while coughing some blood, and then he threw it away, staggering back up, and looked around at everyone who was looking at him with wide eyes, other than Matt who couldn't see.
"Did anyone kiss me?" He asked. That was when Faith grabbed him by the face and kissed him almost aggressively, and Marc kissed back with an equal amount of it, enjoying this.
Everyone groaned as Jessica muttered. "Don't use the fucking tongues."
And then they did just that.
"Now they have used the fucking tongues", Jessica said as all of them walked off, leaving the two lovebirds in their steamy makeout session.
Strange and Fate stood at the top of a building as Gandalf, Merlin, Wanda, Willow, Tara and Constantine walked to them.
"So the powers that ran this perversion of law are gone now", Gandalf said. "I believe all worlds have one less thing to worry about now."
"Yes, those were difficult because of their connections", Merlin agreed.
"Yeah, but even with them gone, there is always going to be something worse", Willow said. "Like that Old One."
"You threw a mountain at it", Wanda said, awed by Willow's power. "That is some very powerful telekinesis."
"Yes, I have not seen anyone using this power that well, Lady Rosenberg", Gandalf complimented her.
"You think?" Willow asked and they nodded.
"Willow, you were a Goddess", Tara said to her.
"Well, you are my Goddess", Willow said to Tara as both kissed.
"You up for a little bit more magic in all of this?" Constantine asked them with a flirty smirk and both gave him a look, which made him gulp and back off. "Never mind."
"There is still the job to depower Slayers who do not deserve it", Strange said.
"Some magic can do that, right?" Willow asked.
"Yes, but we need to do it at a Multiversal scale", Strange said. "Like, find all the Slayers, and figure out what kind of person they are."
"I can help with that", Tara said. "I can read a person's aura and tell what kind of person they are."
"Yeah, she does that even better than me", Willow said.
"Thank you for your help, Miss Maclay", Strange said with a humble nod. "We will find out all of them together and see who are fit and who are not."
"Looking forward to it", Tara said.
"Yeah, but for today, let's enjoy some victory", Willow said.
"There is still the matter of Demon crime bosses though", Constantine reminded, making everyone groan. "And I am sure only few of us are needed to deal with that."
Well, that ends the climax at least.
It has been noted that while the Senior Partners are powerful, they do not have the destructive power that the Old Ones (like Illyria and Quor'toth) or Hell Gods (like Glory) have, and their power mainly came from their Multiversal/Interdimensional political connections, and their law firms. They tried to take over via corruption and politics. But still, they would be fairly powerful in person so they could give a fight before being taken out. But only a decent fight. Plus, their connections, both political and mystical, can get them powerful allies for sure, like the Black Thorns.
Piecemeal and Wendigo are both Hulk villains in Marvel Comics and I brought them here to give our Heroes a challenge and I'm sure the Senior Partners could get monsters like those through their connections.
And in the comics it was shown that Quor'toth is actually a powerful Old One residing in the Dimension, which was named after it, and Willow telekinetically hurled an entire mountain at it. Go Willow!
As for anyone wondering, Cordelia and Darla actually did show up, those weren't hallucinations. Cordelia is one of the Powers That Be now, so she has this kind of power, and she can summon Darla as well, like the PTB did back in Angel Season 4. Hope everyone liked those moments, and I think we all know which apocalypse Cordelia and The Senior Partners were referring to *winks*
