Cabba's Outrageous Mission: Chapter Fifteen- "Sadala's First Holla-ween Special!"
Sadala Defense Academy, Cafeteria
In the cafeteria, the saiyan and sectorian students are wearing costumes. Since Planet Sadala and Planet Sector are allies, they share the same holidays. For today and tonight, Sadala and Sector are celebrating "Holla-Ween." It's a holiday, where people wear the most creative costumes and win some ghoulish prizes. The students were confused of the holiday's traditions, but changed their minds, after hearing of a special prize. Whoever has the most unique costume at the Holla-ween party will get 50+ credits by the end of the semester. During the day, they got prepared for their party and that sweet prize. It's tonight and everyone is having a good time. Cabba's team is here with their costumes. Cabba is a knight, but his design of his armor makes him get confused for a robot. Since he didn't get enough useful supplies for the armor, Cabba only got some cardboard boxes as the next idea. Romaine is a black princess with her black dress and black tiara. Limo is a giant lemon drop candy. Frites has the most weirdest costume. He's wearing a bandanna around his hair, some golden chains around his neck, a white tank top, and jeans that don't fit around his waist. He says that he's a rapper, but the rest of the team don't see it. When they go into the cafeteria, they begin to talk to each other for fun.
Cabba: (Looks at Romaine) Romaine?
Romaine: (Looks at Cabba) Yes, Cabba?
Cabba: This "Holla-ween"...Why is this a holiday?
Romaine: Holla-ween is a holiday that we sectorians celebrate every second fall month of the space calendar. We do costume parties, contests, scare the living (bleep) out of people. (Smiles) Those are traditions to this holiday.
Cabba: (Smiles while blushes) Good. The costume contest should be interesting. I've never been in a costume that I'd made, but if it means that I get those extra credits by the end of the semester, then I'm doing it.
Romaine: And you're a...Knight?
Cabba: Yes. Cardboard was the only item that was left for me to use, so I colored them in gray and made a cardboard sword. (Shows the sword to Romaine)
Romaine: Good! Hope that one of us wins. Every girl has to be either a witch or a princess, so I went with princess, because this dress was the only thing that I had in the closet and Claudia took the witch costume for herself. (Looks at Claudia's team with an angry expression) If she wins, then she and her team would tie with our points.
Frites: (Looks at Claudia) Sure thing! She looks damn fine in that witch costume! Maybe she would want a pimp on her team! (Puffs his chest out) Like me!
Cabba: (Makes an irritated expression to Frites) Not in a million years.
Limo: (Looks at Cabba) When will the contest begin? I don't want Masa to look at me in this! Janet made me this costume, since she couldn't have time to make a costume that I originally thought of.
Cabba: (Looks at Limo) What was your original costume?
Limo: I wanted to be a knight like you, but finding the big enough item to cover me is hard to find, so Janet made this simple lemon-scented costume for me. (Blushes) If Masa sees me in this, then she'll…
Cabba: It's okay, Limo. Maybe she likes lemon flavored candy. Speaking of candy, there's a runner up prize for the second best costume. A large box of candy! That will give anyone a sugar tooth! HAHAHA!
Limo: Hehehe! Sure. (Maybe Cabba is right. Masa would like me in this costume. I like lemons, so she should, too)
Toma: Alright, students! Come closer! I have an announcement!
The students stop talking and walk to the stage, where Principal Toma, Vice Principal Victoria, and Captain of the SDF, Renso is. Cabba's team also go to the crowd of students and waits for the principal to hear what he has to say. The principal clears his throat, before speaking his announcement. He says to the students that the prize has been taken and two or three students are gone from this area. He also says that the prize will be changed. The runner up prize is still there for anyone with the second best costume, but for the first prize reward, it's something that no one thought that the principal would say in a hundred years.
Toma: The first one to find the credits, the students AND has the best costume, will get a one trip only Renso's special mission! (Points to Renso) He'll show you the headquarters and will go on a special mission with them!
Cabba: (Drops his jaw, eye widen) WHAT!?
Romaine: (Makes a surprised expression) Special mission with the captain!?
Frites: One time (bleep)-ing only!? (Drops his jaw, eyes widen)
Claudia: (makes a sinister smile) Perfect!
Trent: (makes a sinister smile) (Perfect in deed!)
Toma: Now...Go along and search for them. Come back and we'll start the costume contest!
(Students run to the hallways and leave the cafeteria)
Renso: (Walks to Toma with a worried expression) Mr. Toma? Is it necessary to say that? I would like to bring a student on one of my missions, but it has to be those objectives. Why?
Toma: There's two reasons why I did that. The first reason is that I don't want to do the hard work of searching those students. The second reason is that giving them 50+ credits by the end of the semester seems too much. Plus, I lied about the credits. (Smiles)
Renso: (Makes a shocking expression) What!?
Toma: Yep! I did that, so that the students would participate in the costume contest.
Victoria: (Pinches her nose in disappointment) (That dumb-ass! Why do I have to work with this arrogant ass-(bleep)!)
Renso: Okay! I have to make a call first, then I'll come back. (Leaves the stage)
After the principal said his announcement, the students run into the hallways and search for the students and the extra credits. Before splitting up, Cabba told the team to use their communicators to talk to them, if they see one of the students. He's in the north hallways, Romaine is in the west hallways, Frites is in the east hallways, and Limo is in the south hallways. Cabba is walking down the hallway, while looking at the possible doors. He's thinking of what would it be like to meet Renso's team for the first time and going on a special mission with him. That would be a dream to him, to be in an elite team. He stops, when he hears a voice in one of the doors. He walks to the left side of the hallways, opens it, and sees a student. He's tied up, has a white cloth over his mouth and seems to be in fear. Cabba wastes no time saving the student's capture and unties him. Afterwards, he calms down the student.
Cabba: (Puts his hands on the student's shoulders) You're fine! You're free! Are you okay?
Student: I-I'm fine!
Cabba: Good! Stay here. I'm going to call one of my team mates. (Grabs his communicator and dials in Romaine's number)
Romaine: Cabba!
Cabba: Romaine. I've found one of the student.
Romaine: Good! I don't see the other student in the west hallways, so I'm going back.
Cabba: Good. I'll return back with the student. Make sure that he's fine.
Romaine: Okay! Out! (hangs up)
Cabba: (Puts communicator in his pocket) Whew! (Looks at the student) Hey. You look familiar.
Student: Yeah. I'm in Claudia's team.
Cabba: (Makes a surprising expression) What?! You're on Claudia's team?!
Student: Yes. My name is Turnip.
Cabba: Okay. Turnip...I want you to stay with me at all times. I don't want you to get lost.
Turnip: Okay, Robo-Knight!
Cabba: (Makes a shocking expression to Turnip) Robo-Knight? (That seems like a good idea! Makes sense, too!) Let's go! (Walks down the hallway)
Cabba found Turnip, one of the missing students from the party. He has to bring him back to the cafeteria and look for the other student. He hopes that the entire team looks for the other one and the extra credits. Before he could go even further out of the hallway, a dark figure appears right in front of them. The figure has a cape, a metal, thin sword, and a hat that looks like a bandit would wear. Cabba guess that one of the students from the party wants Turnip, so that he can get the credit and the reward. He tells Turnip to get behind him. He has to take care of him and leave the hallway. He charges up and flies to the figure. The figure gets into fighting position and prepared to fight the "Robo-Knight." Meanwhile, in the south hallways, Limo is walking, trying to see any other students or the extra credits anywhere. He hears a sound that comes from the right side of the hallway. Limo opens the door and sees a saiyan girl in a pink princess costume. He recognizes the facial looks and hair color. The pink princess is Masa! He unties her and walks her out of the room. He later tells her of what happened.
Limo: Masa? (Looks at Masa, while blushing) A-Are you okay?
Masa: (Looks at Limo) I-I'm fine. I was drinking some punch, until I felt a pain on my neck and that was it. I woke up in this dark room with my mouth covered in white cloth and tied up with string. I tried to yell, but nothing worked. That's when you came in and saved me. (Hugs Limo) Thank you!
Limo: (Blushes, while nervously sweating) Y-You're w-welcome!
Masa: (Smells Limo's costume) Limo? Is your costume lemon scented?
Limo: (Face turns red) Y-Yes! I'm a giant piece of lemon drop candy.
Masa: Geegeegee! You're so creative! I like the scent of lemons! (Looks at Limo with a smile)
Limo: (Looks at Masa) Really? Y-You like lemons?
Masa: Of course! I like the scent of them and would sometimes have candles of them.
Limo: (Smiles) T-Thank you. Now...Let's get out of the hallways and get back to the party.
Masa: Okay! (Walk out of the hallway)
Limo: (Walks out of the hallway) (I can't believe that Cabba was right. She does like my costume! She likes lemons!)
While Limo and Masa are going back to the cafeteria, in the north hallways, Cabba and the figure are still fighting each other. Cabba does manage to get a hit on the figure's face, but he gets hit in the right side by it's hand. Turnip is looking at the battle, thinking of who the figure is. He remembers the figure who took him wearing a cape and a hat. Cabba shots some energy blasts at the figure, but it deflects them as quick as a second. Cabba is surprised that the figure is so skilled at fighting. He creates a smokescreen, blocking the figure's vision. The figure doesn't see the "Robo-Knight", so he guesses his movements by what it hears. It fails, when Cabba come behind him and knocks him out with a kick to the back-head. The figure falls to the floor, unconscious. Cabba looks at the figure with a concern look. He thinks that the figure wouldn't be a saiyan, nor a sectorian, but is confused of who might be the one responsible for stealing the students and the credits. He'll figure that one later. He tells Turnip to come and walk to the cafeteria. When they get to the cafeteria, the rest of the students are here. They're mad for not getting the other student and the extra credits. He tells Turnip to go back to his team. Turnip understand and runs to his team, leaving Cabba. Cabba sees his team and goes to them. After getting to his team, he discovers something that he wouldn't see in a million years.
Cabba: (Sees Frites with the extra credits) Frite!? You got the credits! (Points to the extra credit)
Frites: (Looks at the credits with a curious expression) So, these are the credits? I thought that this is a check for...something.
Cabba: (Smiles) Great! Now that we have the credits and I found a student, one of us will win for sur-
Frites: (Rips the credits into pieces) What a piece of crap! The principal should make the credits more recognizable! (Stomps on the pieces of "Extra credits")
Cabba: (makes a frozen shocking expression)
Romaine: (Looks at Cabba) Cabba? I know that he ripped the credits, but there's still the other prize of going on Renso's team. (Pats Cabba's shoulder) It's going to be fine!
Cabba: (Eye twitches) (That idiot! I'm going to...KILL HIM!)
Masa: (Looks at Limo) So...Who do you think is going to win the costume contest?
Limo: (Blushes) I don't know. It would be anyone. (Looks at Masa) Maybe you might win the contest with that dress of yours.
Masa: (Blushes) T-Thank you, but some of the other saiyan girls and sectorian girls are princesses, so the odds are similar.
Toma: Ahem! Student! I have another announcement to make!
(Students turned silent)
Toma: Good! Now, I said that the first prize will go to anyone that finds the two missing students, the extra credits, and has the best costume will go to Renso's special mission and team. Well… (Makes a nervously smile) I...lied about it!
Students: WHAT!?
Toma: Yes. I've lied to you all, so that you can do my dirty work for me! Plus the extra credits are a fake. There's no 50+ credits.
Cabba: (regains focus and looks at the principal) What!? The credits are fake! (Looks at the ripped credits) (Thank God Frites ripped it!)
Claudia: (makes an angry expression) Bull-(bleep)! I came here in this witch costume for nothing! (throws her witch hat to the floor) Crap!
Toman: But...There's the runner up prize of the large box of candy to the best costume. That will be the first prize, since I don't have the back up prize for now. Now, me, Victoria, and Renso will pick which costume is the best. Be patient!
Toma, Victoria, and Renso look at the student's costume and examine each one. They must be careful of picking the right one and be quick about it. While this is going. Claudia sees one of her team members coming back with a sore headache. It's Trent in his bandit costume. She walks up to him and angrily says, "Where was your ass?!" Trent says that he was in the bathroom, until he slipped and hit his back-head. He face away from Claudia to have his angry moment alone. He later turns around and says to Claudia that he'll be fine. The three authoritative figures are done analyzing the student's costume and write their answers on the computer. Once that is done, Toma faces the students to announce the winner of the costume contest.
Toma: Me and the two figures have come to a decision! We picked one costume that was the most unique, the most creative, and the best one in this year's… (Looks at Victoria) What's the name of this holiday again?
Victoria: (Sighs) It's Holla-ween!
Toma: Oh! Right! (Faces the students again) Holla-ween! (Sees Renso giving him the envelope) Okay! The votes are in! (Grabs the envelope) And...The winner of this costume party is…(Slowly opens the envelope)
(Students lean forward for the results)
Toma: (Pulls out the winner's name card)...Uh… (Looks at Victoria) What's this student's name?
Victoria: (Makes an irritated expression) (Oh! How dumb are you? (Bleep)!) (whispers the name of the winner to Toma's ear)
Toma: Okay! Thank you! (Looks at the students once more) The winner of the contest is….Cabba's team!
Cabba's Team: (Makes a shocking expression) WHAT!?
Claudia: What the (bleep)!? (Makes the same shocking expression)
Victoria: We chose their team, because they have the most unique, creative imagination that we ever see. Cabba as a Robo-Knight, Romaine's princess dress having a different, non-cliche color, Limo as a giant piece of lemon scented candy, and Frites as a rapper, being the only one that's the most rare in this party. Come! You deserve the prize!
Cabba: (looks at the team) Well, guys! We won the prize, but we can't have that candy.
Limo: I know! Too much sugar. Let's share the prize to the students!
Cabba: That's not a bad idea, Limo. Let's do it!
Cabba's team, winners of the costume party, walk on the stage and announce to the figures that they're proud of having the prize, but it seems like too much for them. They decided to share the candy to the rest of the student. Renso looks at his student with pride. He taught him well. With that said, Victoria gives out the candy to the students, in Cabba's words. Everyone had a good time at the party, except for Claudia, who's still upset that she didn't get the credits. Cabba and his team walk back to their room with a small bag of their shared prize. Cabba is thinking of that bandit in the north hallways. Then he thinks of the exchanged student, Trent having the same costume as him. "Is he the same one that attacked me in the hallways? I'll figure that one out for myself. I have a bad feeling that student is not what he appears to be." are Cabba's words, before going to Limo's room for the night.
