Stay With Me Forever

Please forgive me as I have no idea on how to write fighting scenes, so the fight between the wolves and the vampire after Jenny will not be in here. Also I'm not one for letting things hang in the balance for long. My patience is to thin for that myself... Anyway... If anyone would like to make a one shot of the fight, they can do so. Thank you for waiting and thank you for reading!

Ch 13

Jenny paced the floor while Esme cooked up a storm. Alice had a vision and knew everyone needed to act if they wanted the threat gone.

"Everything will be okay, dear. They know what to do," Esme tried calming Jenny down. The human girl plopped herself onto a bar stool.

"I know, but it's nerve wracking... I don't want anyone getting hurt. I'm curious as to why when I get home from college, is when things go down the drain. I was going to start working, maybe spruce up the house and maybe sell it for a smaller house... Maybe I shouldn't have come home..." Jenny whispered, folding her arms on the bar and laid her head on her arms.

"You wouldn't have seen Jacob and made up with him, if that was the case," Esme commented as she placed a third pan into the oven. Jenny blushed as thought of the actions that were done last night. No they did not have sex, but boy did Jake know how to use his tongue.

Esme giggled behind a hand as she saw the face Jenny was making. She knew that face. It was the same face she made when Edward and Rosalie made cracks at her and Carlisle. Thinking the two vampires were out hunting, Carlisle took his time in showing Esme how he would worship her body and so he did.

They sat in silence until the oven timers went off. Esme made quick work of pulling pans out and turning the oven off. Jenny had moved from the kitchen to the living room and curled up in a chair, watching the windows. Esme walked over to her and sat on the arm of the chair and held Jenny's hand. Jenny placed her head in Esme's lap and closed her eyes. Jenny would never claim it out loud but she loved being around Esme. It made her feel like her mom was there with her.

Esme ran her fingers through Jenny's hair and lulled the girl to sleep. It would be better to sleep than to worry. Esme kept watch though, wishing she was out there with the others helping. Very carefully, she grabbed a blanket and covered Jenny so she wouldn't get cold. It would be another hour before anyone showed back up.

Carlisle embraced his wife the moment he got back in.

"Where is Jenny?" He asked her quietly. She nodded over to the chair.

"I got her to go to sleep. She kept pacing the floor, waiting."

"The others should be here in a minute, should we wake her?" Carlisle asked. Esme nodded and went to heat up the pans of food made. Carlisle went to the sleeping girl and light shook her awake.

"Jenny... We're home..."

Jenny shot up and looked up to Carlisle. She started crying and wrapped her arms around his neck. He held her close. "It's okay. We all made it safe and sound. Jake is-"

"Right here."

Jenny looked to the entry way, her eyes wide. A gash was healing on his arm and he had a bruise on his chest. He held his arms open as Jenny hopped up and ran to him. He caught her as she wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck, burying her face in his shoulder.

"I'm here, Jenny. I'm not going anywhere."

Jenny could only shake her head. Jake sat down on the chair that she just left, fixing Jenny so she was sitting in his lap more than body strangling him, even though it didn't bother him. Carlisle watched as Esme came up behind him and hugged him with an arm. Slightly turning, Carlisle kissed Esme.

"Will the others becoming over?" Esme asked. Jake looked to her, "Yeah, Seth, Leah, Quil, and Embry. The others went back to the reservation to celebrate with a bonfire," Jake said with a grin. Jenny looked up to her imprinter. "Everyone?"

"Everyone. Sam and Paul are waiting for us later tonight."

Jenny nodded and relaxed, closing her eyes, still holding onto Jacob tightly. Everyone else did show up with in a five minute period after Jacob did. Embry and Quil went straight to the kitchen, smelling the food Esme had cooked. Leah and Seth went into the living room, Seth being with Ness. Leah sat on the floor by Seth's feet and closed her eyes before opening them to see Jenny staring at her.

"Girl's night next weekend." Leah nodded. "Agreed."

After a small celebration at the Cullen house hold, Jacob and his pack took Jenny back to her house were Sam and Paul had a bon fire built up. Emily had two foldable tables out and open with food piled high. Jared was next to a grill, turning over ribs, steaks, hamburgers, and hot dogs.

Jenny hugged everyone she knew and let Jake into keeping her warm from the frigid cold wind. The fire rose high through the night as everyone ate, joked, laughed, and played.

"With the excitement of getting rid of our enemy once more, there is another announcement to be made," Sam said after everyone calmed down for a second. He pulled Emily up off the log gently, her hand on her belly. Emily looked up to Sam with such a tender love in her eyes, as she smiled and nodded for him to continue.

"We're expecting our first baby!"

Jenny cheered and hugged Emily tight.

"Oh this is such a blessing! I can't wait for them to be here so Aunt Jen can spoil them rotten!" Jenny said with a giggle.

"Spoil? There will be no spoiling on my kid, Jenny!"

"Oh yes there will be too! Think about all the clothes, shoes, blankets, toys, you'll be getting for this young one," Jenny said with a grin. "We're one big family who takes care of each other. I'm glad everyone was brought home safe and sound."

"Me too, me too." Emily hugged Jenny before she was whisked away by the other imprints. Jenny took in a deep breath before looking around the scene before her. She nodded to herself. If they could help protect her, then she would do her best to help them when needed. First she would be the accountant for Sam's and Paul's garage and then work at opening an clinic for the shapeshifters.

Jake watched his imprint has she walked along the edge of the fire pit, walking towards him. He noticed how happy she was being surrounded with friends and was happy that she was happy. He hugged her as she got right up on him and kissed her right there in front of everyone. Jenny didn't hesitate to kiss him back. Wolf whistles broke the two apart, Jenny blushing and Jake grinning.

"Pay up Jared!"

Jenny raised an eyebrow to Paul. "You were betting on me?"

"Nope! On Jake! I swear!" Paul said nervously chuckling. Jenny nodded, and crossed her arms. "Let's hope you were Paul... You know I don't like you betting on me because you always win."

"I don't always win on you! I just know you better than almost anyone else here!"

"Just because you're my cousin doesn't mean you get to use what you know against others about me!"

"Sorry, JenJen..."

"Uh-huh..."

And so the night went on in happiness.
