I wake up to a sound I haven't heard in years. The alarm. Angel Grove is in trouble once again. For the first time in nearly twenty years.
As I get up, I notice that my bed is wet. That's odd. No time to worry about it right now though.
I quickly brush my teeth, use the bathroom, and run to the bridge. As what I assume will become usual, Derek and I are the first ones there besides Aunt Karone, soon followed by Orion, who is covered in Cheeto dust and Delilah who is the only one fully dressed.
"Where's Kara?" Derek asks and is nearly interrupted by his girlfriend popping up from under a console.
"I'm here. Had to put on pants."
"Pants?" Delilah asks.
"I ain't fightin' the Psychos in a nightgown!"
"You aren't fighting the Psychos in a nightgown, but I'll fight them in a Flash onesie," Orion says.
"You aren't wearing a Flash onesie," I point out.
"Is that a squirrel on a bike?" he exclaims and we look over to where he's pointing. Out of the corner of my eye I see Leo walk in. As we look back, he's somehow in a Flash onesie and all the Cheeto dust is gone.
"Squirrel?" Leo asks.
"What was the squirrel thing about?" Derek questions.
"Deception," is all he says.
"So it was a trick?"
"No," Orion defends. "It's my groundhog, Deception."
Deception then jumps into my brother's arms and Orion starts scratching his stomach.
"Squirrel? Bike? Deception?" Leo starts. "What did I walk into?"
Aunt Karone shakes her head. "DEKA?"
"Showing footage of Angel Grove Lake," the AI says and shows the Psychos attacking people at the lake.
"Time to go swimming," Derek says as he heads to the elevator.
"I'll call Serenity and tell her to meet you there," Aunt Karone says and we nod as we get into the elevator.
"Ready, guys?" I ask as we run toward the jump tubes.
"Let's kick some Psycho butt!" Delilah yells.
"It's too early for this," Derek groans as he climbs up the steps.
We all jump into the tubes at the same time and come out morphed on our respective Galaxy Gliders.
When we get to the lake, Serenity is already fighting Psycho Black; the other Psychos are terrorizing civilians.
I flip off my glider and in between Psycho Yellow and a jogger.
"Miss me, Yellow Ranger?" the Psycho taunts.
"Couldn't let her have all the fun," I nod towards Serenity. I turn to the jogger, who's on the ground. "Go," I say and she scrambles up and runs away.
"Now you're taking my fun away," Psycho Yellow attacks.
"Star Slinger!" I summon my weapon.
"Psycho Sling!" she summons hers.
"My Lunar Lance is launched!" I suddenly hear Serenity say and Psycho Yellow and I both stop in our tracks.
"Did she really just say that?" Psycho Yellow asks.
"I think she did," I reply.
We continue fighting. She shoots. I shoot. I block. She blocks. We're so evenly matched that we keep going in circles. It's frustrating and I'm only getting more and more tired. What's going on with me?
"Retreat!" Psycho Red suddenly yells.
"But," Pink starts, but is interrupted.
"Now!"
"You better run!" Orion yells at the retreating Psychos as we regroup.
"Until next time, Red Ranger," Psycho Red says before they disappear.
"What was that about?" Derek asks, an arm slung over Kara's shoulders.
"I don't know," Serenity says. "But we're late for school!"

Sorry it's taken a while to update. But it's out now!
In other news, please read my newest story "When The Past Comes Back To Shove" about Taylor and Eric. I'm very proud of it so far. It's not going to be nearly as long as this one and I'm writing it in order to not get burnt out just writing this one.
Please read and review!
And, as always, may the Power protect you.
