Argo City
Zor-El-Queen Residence
Oliver Queen arrives at his home. He recently went through an unintentional fallout with Tommy, whom was both his childhood friend and his best friend. He went over to the table, fastening on a cup of Krypton's source of its natural drink. At first time when he drank it, it felt almost the same as the taste of Earth's source of water. Oliver poured the fills down inside his mouth. Afterwards, he placed the cup down on the table. Oliver twirls around, enacting on heading the direction of the room's exit. He soon falls into meeting a well known face. A face of a look not too different from Oliver had discerned before.
"Hope I'm not prying on your moment of perfusing a drink to help you settle whatever happened recently", Mia expressed, slowly moving forward.
Oliver rotates his face to the opposite side, shortly staring at the wall, prior to looking down. "No. I was only taking a sip, taking my thoughts out of a few particular episodes, which speaking of: I wanted to ask you", said Oliver, turning to gaze at Mia. "Where were you? Your entourage with Diana was supposed to last not longer than a day".
Mia continues to move on forth, directing to Oliver's end. "Diana abruptly closed our training down because she became so hot-tempered that she almost tried to kill me, but didn't. We were both bloodied up. Then after the unexpected close-down, I took it upon myself in training by the quiet oceans. A lucky time for me. The whistle would've easily disrupted the creatures beneath the oceans. Thankfully, I had a peaceful training in exploring consciously through an array of trainings", Mia explained, finally reached to Oliver's boundary.
"You shouldn't have been bold. If any explorer, researcher, or any criminal found out about your existence-"
"I'd strike them down, then make sure they're trapped with broken limbs", Mia shot back, shutting down Oliver's given warning.
Oliver squashes his eyes, finding it a matter so wrong. His thoughts were easily clinked when he heard thudding steps from behind, which prompted Oliver to whirl around, to face the incoming noise.
A figure popped out from the holed-door, coming in presence as a male with familiar shape in eyes, forehead, cheeks, and a chin.
"William?", Oliver relaxingly exclaimed.
"Dad?", William exclaimed. "So that's what the tiny noise came from".
Oliver turned his full fronted-body facing on his future son. "Where's Kara?", he questioned, considering it not a match on Kara's persona to not leave their children at home.
"On Earth", Mia answered, cueing William and Oliver to roll at seeing her. William was certain he was the only one left to occupy in maintaining close-eyes on the kids. He didn't register Mia's appearance in their home. Mia noticed William's confused expression. "I was here before mom left Argo".
"You didn't bother showing up right before my face?", William questioned, feeling let down.
"I'm not a 4 year-old Will. And you know that", Mia declared. Her next thoughts dwelled on regards of her mother. She tilt round to perceive Oliver. "Something is wrong with mom".
"I should be surprised, but I don't feel the sense to bring it out", Oliver regarded, expressing his feeling as though he experience going past the times when something rendered Kara to have an issue.
Willian started shorting on musing biologically on Oliver's inside-body heavily formed to not be perceptive over what things he'd encounter. He prolonged his muses further, to the awakening of being told to shut up by Mia.
Oliver focused his attention to Mia, pondering on the latter's viewpoint on what's troubling Kara. "What happened to your mother?", Oliver inquired.
"She seemed shocked, flabbergasted when she saw a source presented from William. She considered it so dangerous that it apparently causes destruction and it's too powerful", Mia answered.
"Dangerous? A dusted, looking to exact at possibly hundreds aged, piece, I took out from beneath Argo City, is that dangerous?", William questioned.
"Nothing else was added. All I heard is her plans on visiting Uncle Kal about that source she's holding", Mia discloses.
"At least we know why she travelled back to Earth", William regarded, pasting it as a part of a somewhat indication to Kara's whole secret concentrated on the source.
Oliver looks down, while his arms are currently bent, criss-crossing amongst together.
"Dad. What are your thoughts on this?", William asked.
Oliver raised his face up, lighting on William. He delivers a frustration breath, prior to quivering his mouth. "I'll talk to Kara. For now, once she comes back, don't try to set an interrogation posture, or any root to throw on her. I will talk to her in person", Oliver addresses, spreading his sight on his two future children. "Can you do that for me?". The latter awaits William and Mia's responses. Up to a dated second, the duo shook their head by a vertical dash.
All of a sudden, a bell made a short-timed ring, alerting the three. Oliver, William and Mia took this as a cue to check on the holographic screens materialised from a beacon that's lighted up from its almost-cylindrical-shaped device.
Oliver observes the screen, seeing the results showing information of a teleportation occurring around their residence. Oliver recognised the noise when it first appeared. A noise only defined for alarming insiders on the appearance of owners. "It's Kara", Oliver proclaimed. He swiftly revolved to Mia and William. "Go".
William and Mia took his regard. They ran out of the room.
Oliver had left the building, intending on meeting a face of whom belongs to the figure he loves: Kara Zor-El-Queen.
"Ollie? What a pleasant surprise", Kara remarks, nearing her way to Oliver. Moving closer, she finally stopped, standing in front of Oliver.
"I could say the same for you. Routing to Earth, leaving your kids behind. None of that fits you", said Oliver.
"I had to go and speak with Kal about some urgent matters", Kara stated.
"Anything I'd be bitten in?", Oliver asked. His temptations led to increasing his ways of convincing Kara to share her hidden stories to him. "I could be a bigger help. You might now see what's under me".
Oliver's question laid a compounded expression on Kara after the latter had a short giggle. Kara didn't know how she'd explain the entire story. She had certainly put a scaled point in which Oliver was disclosed part of the secrets Kara held. She trusts Oliver with her life, but she knew that crossing the breach would inflict a promise she kept, something to never bring up. "Perhaps a time when I can feel it", Kara remarked. She heightened her legs up to match Oliver's face. Her lips pressed swiftly and briefly on Oliver's lips. It compelled Oliver to close his eyes, absorbing the sensation of the kiss as the tension is getting him to succumb more of it, in addition to Kara too. The kiss immediately separated between them. Kara rolls up on Oliver. Her image settles next on tomorrow's event. "You should rest. Tomorrow will be a big day for the both of us".
Oliver steps out of Kara's way as he permits the latter to let her through, heading inside the building. Oliver turns his gaze focused on Kara entering the building, he continued watching at the exact second when Kara finally steps inside. Something inside told him he failed to convince Kara to divulge her secrets to him maybe because Oliver isn't eager to interrogate Kara in his way vigilante way like he did in the old years when he became a vigilante in his city, or it's realistically he wouldn't want to shape the tension into Oliver's personal, violent confrontation. He knows he can beat the information out of Kara, due to red son weakening Kara and preventing her from accessing her inhuman powers, but he knew it wasn't a fair way, neither would Oliver enjoy it. He twirls around, coming to meet in two familiar faces: William and Mia.
"How did it go?", William asked.
Oliver horizontally and weakly shakes his head. "Apart of me would've forced the information to get spilled out from her throat.
Mia clenches her eyes, displaying a disappointed aspect. "Why? You've crumbled up juniors and bad asses. Even in less violent ways, you would try to seek it no matter the condition. You once forced Grandma to spill her secret when you had John brutally beat you on every dying breath till she broke on climax", said Mia.
"Because I am not that type of guy anymore", Oliver retorted, steadying a glance at Mia. "What I did at the time in my first year as the hood? I did a lot of terrible things, of which I have always tried to make amends, attempting to redeem myself. Violence and pain isn't what I plan on planting in Kara's mind".
William and Mia briefly stared down, moulding their faces in a squeezed spot on their right ends. Their bright expressions showed their respects for Oliver's choice. Apart of them understood it better than how they'd react if they were their past selves' personality. The two rapidly raised eyes.
"So what's our next plan?", William questioned.
"No plan. Just let Kara go", Oliver announced.
"Would you mind giving a line that makes sense?", William asked. "Because that sounded more like we should pretend we forgot about it completely and simply move on".
"We're not going incriminate in Kara's secret", Oliver said.
"Dad. If we let her off, maybe a chance would come when she might be in danger, or perhaps put the whole Universe in jeopardy, or maybe particularly on the whole family", said Mia.
"I know it's an extensive risk. Even so, I have faith Kara will come to us. I've known her since the day we first met", Oliver expresses. As soon as he risen his words, he walks off to route on out of his premise, which slightly stunned Mia and William. "Tell Kara I'm coming back to Earth". Oliver said it without looking back, he advanced on, walking ahead. His left-off caused his kids to hold an array of questions about his sudden choice of departing Argo City after coming back very recently.
In spite of Oliver's choice of taken-off from affixing longer in his new home, Mia and William esteemed on Oliver's choice.
