Chapter 29
Will's point of view
It had been two days since I came to London for work. It was around 11:25 pm at night. I was scrolling through the messages on my mobile lying in my bed. There were too many of them. Some were from my important clients that just could not be ignored. I gave replies to them.
My mobile chimed with a message from Louisa Clarke on messanger. An instant smile took over the grim expression my face wore moments ago.
Louisa: Are you up?
Will: Yes.
Louisa: Rough day at work?
Will: No. It was okay
Louisa: Am I disturbing you by messaging you this late at night?
Will: No. I was feeling kind of lonely here.
Louisa: Me too. I just needed to talk to someone.
Will: Are you missing me by any chance, Miss Clarke?
I put a cheeky emo sticker after this particular message.
Louisa: Maybe, a little
She put a smiley after this reply.
Will: Probably a little means a lot in your dictionary.
I could not resist placing a cheeky sticker after this specific response.
Louisa: Don't flatter yourself, Will Traynor. Little means little in my dictionary.
Will: Whatever floats your boat, Clarke.
Louisa: I am going to sleep. Bye.
She terminated our conversation in a rather abrupt manner. It was maybe because she got flustered. I knew somewhere in the back of my mind she felt something for me that went way beyond the boss-employee relationship we had. If she hadn't, then she would not have initiated that kiss that probed my tongue which was not normally done by any employee.
