"Go get the girl! We're not leaving here without her!"

That voice…. I know that voice, but… Where have I heard it before? I definitely know it; I know it from somewhere….. somewhere damp; damp and unpleasant. My conscious slowly, slowly returned to me. Somewhere lodged into my memory is that voice… A man's voice; someone I trust….. Someone who gave me a reason to trust him. "Do not tell the Mandalorian about this." Oh, wait…. My eyes opened for the first time in what felt like ages. My vision was blurry initially, but that didn't matter. I only had one thought coursing through my head right then….

I hope I still had his black cloak on.

In a heartbeat, reality came back to me; or rather, I came back to reality. Everything I'd experienced, everything I'd seen suddenly flooded back to me in an instance. I had been laying down on my side on something hard and smooth. My eyes shot open to see that I was in a room; a room with no windows and only one door. So basically a cell. And it wasn't just me- there were two of the guys in white stormtrooper outfits. They looked like the same two goons who took me away from Kuiil that one time.

Immediately my arms went into action, lifting me upper half up off the metal bench I was on. The men reacted with alarm at my sudden animation. One stepped towards me with his hand raised. "Hold on. She wasn't supposed to wake up yet," despite looking my way, he spoke to the other guy. I don't know where I got the energy from but the trauma of everything I'd just witnessed rose up to the surface with a fire. My own hand zoomed out in his direction.

"Stay away from me!" My voice echoed through the chamber. The man went from coming towards me to flying off his feet to the other side of the room in a blink of an eye. He landed with a crash, letting out a soft, low groan. The other shot his head at me. "Hey, hold on!" He dared to take two steps my way, and soon enough, he was on the other side of the room. I had both hands up in front of me now, breathing deeply and eying them both.

"Where am I? Why'd you bring me here?!" I think they were surprised by the lack of fear in my tone. Using the Force I was able to hold them where they were, and when my hand broke and they came at me again, I pushed them back into the wall with the Force. I wanted to keep them away from me but I was cautious not to threw them too hard, lest I seriously hurt one of them. Yes, yes; I know, I know. They kidnapped me and that's the last thing I should be worried about. But no matter what situation I was in, that didn't give me permission not to honour my vow. I had to keep that no matter what. Still, you could see the anger billowing in my face.

I shoved a first guy up against the wall again, banging his head in the process. "I asked you a question! Where am I?! Where are you taking me?!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. I think this legitimately startled them, with the two peering anxiously at each other.

That's when the doors slid open, revealing a familiar face on the other side. I was both shocked and not surprised at all to see Moff Gideon there; of course he had to be accompanied by two heavily armed guarded. A smile drew across his smug face the moment he clapped eyes on me.

This jerk had the audacity to march into my cell. It didn't take a genius to know he was the reason I was here. As if the universe had it out for me, a few seconds after he entered, my body started to give out on me. I couldn't use the Force for much longer, growing rapidly more tired. By the time he was half-way into my cell, I collapsed back onto the metal bed, releasing the two stormtroopers in the process. The creep chuckled to himself in the most sinister way imaginable.

"You've gotten very good with that, but it makes you oh so sleepy," his disgusting head leaned down into me. "W-What do you want with me?" "Ah ha ha, that's for us to know and you to find out," he waved his finger in the air. This made me mad- really mad. My eyebrows arched.

"Where's Mando and scarred face man?" "Scarred face man? That's an interesting name for someone," his eyebrow raised. My hands balled into furious fists. "I heard his voice! I know he's here! Where is he?! And where's Mando?! What have you done with them?!" "Nothing, yet. We have what we came for; no reason to stick around for more trouble," he grinned. I frowned; oh, how I frowned. "Then they'll come for me." "We'll already have what we need by then," he shrugged. My eyes narrowed dangerously onto him. "What do you want from me?" "I just said, that's for us to know and you to find out, little one." My teeth grit; I don't remember ever being so angry. I was enraged and yet my voice came out calm at first- calm but incensed.

"I know what you want… Your weird doctor man examined me last time. He was checking my midi-chlorian count. I know exactly what you want from me…. You want me because I'm like Anakin; because we have similar midi-chlorian counts. Well, I hate to break this to you, but I'm nothing like him! If you're hoping to corrupt me, you can forget it! I save people; I would have saved those kids! How the Force would ever let him become a Force ghost after that massacre is beyond me! I want nothing to do with Anakin! Him or his son!"

The look on Moff Gideon's face altered after this outburst. His grin faded fast; his eyes repeatedly scanning mine over; checking for signs of fear or wavering I'm sure. But I didn't feel any fear- I didn't feel anything just then. Anything but anger… anger and a lingering desire to save those children. The worst part about that was I knew I'd never have a chance to either.

This monster straightened up, glaring at me all the while. He pursed his lips together, then reopened them; it took a moment for any sound to come out. "Looks like you could use a nice, long sleep," his voice right then… He nodded at the soldier standing to his left, who promptly shot a laser canon at my head. I passed out again like that. And I remained unconscious for three days.

Well, my body remained asleep. The Force saw fit to transport my spirit out of me again, away from my physical being. Only this time I didn't travel to the past and even the present….

I awoke in the future.
