Detention:
(Jenny P.O.V)
"Oh, we are so dead if we're caught," Ron shuddered.
"Be quiet Ron and we won't get caught," Cass hissed.
"Guys, let's just focus on getting back," said Henry, petrified with pressure.
"Luckily after I visited the Mirror of Erised, I took a few secret detours to find quick passages back to the common room should something like this happen," I said.
"Good. Which way should we go?" Cass asked.
We came to two corridors. Pressing my finger to my chin, I made a decision. "This way," we took right. "Almost there now,"
Suddenly there was a wild wail.
"What was that?" I asked.
"What was what?"
It came again. Everyone jumped.
"That," I said.
This time a tinkle came.
"What's that?" Ron asked.
"It's probably just armour," Henry said. "Now can we please focus on getting back,"
We continue on our way.
"Finally," Cass sighed. "There's the door to the staircase,"
"Come on," I said. But just before I could reach it, it suddenly slammed in my face. I tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge. "It won't budge,"
The other three tried to help but it wouldn't budge either.
"Use your opening spell Henry," Ron urged.
Henry fished out his wand. "Alohomora,"
Nothing happened.
"Try again," Ron urged again.
Henry did. Once again, nothing happened.
"Why isn't it working?" Cass asked.
"I don't know,"
For an ultimate reason, I felt some strange sort of force on the lock. "I…I think I'm sensing some sort of dark magic used on this,"
"Dark magic?" Henry asked. "How are you sensing it?"
"I don't know. I just do. I know it feels weird,"
Suddenly there was a sudden rattle. We turned and saw paintings on the walls shaking. It was frightening. Suddenly the windows opened, and wind came flying n.
"What is going on?" Cass asked. Just then we heard pound footsteps outside.
"Someone's coming," Ron freaked out.
I twisted my head and I saw an open cupboard. "In there!" I ushered. Quickly we dashed into the cupboard and shut the door. "Don't breathe," I whispered.
Everything was quiet.
"I think it's gone," Ron said.
Just after that there were a thundering stomp.
Before Ron could scream, Cass covered his mouth.
The shadows loomed under the door. We saw the knob turn.
I gulped. We were so dead. So very, very dead.
"Just so you know…I love you guys," Ron whimpered.
The door opened, followed by sudden Boos!
"Ahhh!" we screamed.
(Harry P.O.V)
I smirked at seeing their scared faces.
"Hey guys need a hand?" Blaise offered a pretend hand.
Suddenly Cass turned red. She leapt at Blaise like a leopard and started punching him in the face vigorous times.
I pulled her and pushed her away. Pansy helped Blaise.
"What's the bloody idea?!" Ron screamed in their faces.
"What's the big idea?!" Jenny shrieked. "Why would you do something like this?"
"That I was going to get my revenge on you,"
"For what? What did I ever do to you?!"
"You know good and well what you did," I snarled.
"You all should have seen the looks on your faces!" Pansy laughed hysterically.
"Stop it! None of us should be out here," Henry said.
"Don't try to act like a know-it-all," I snapped.
"Leave him out of this,"
"What is going on here?!" a different voice shouted.
We turned and saw McGonagall with Snape and Filch. She was not happy.
"Oh…fudge cake," Cass whimpered.
(Jenny P.O.V)
"Fifty points will be taken!"
"Fifty," I asked in disbelief.
"From both Slytherin and Gryffindor,"
"What?" Harry snapped. "Professor, we were just trying to catch them and stop them from causing trouble,"
"We weren't causing trouble," Ron snapped. "You were,"
"Shut up," McGonagall hissed. She turned to me and my friends. "What were you all doing out late at night?"
"We were just asking Hagrid some important questions. We weren't trying to cause trouble,"
"Could you not have waited till tomorrow?"
"We couldn't exactly do that," I confessed awkwardly. "But we didn't cause the havoc back there in the corridor. It was them,"
McGonagall stared at my brother and his friends. "How may I ask did you three cause havoc in the corridor using magic? What type of magic did you use?"
They didn't answer.
"Well…"
"It was all me Professor," Harry stepped up.
"Where did you learn?"
"From a book,"
"What book?"
"I…can't remember what it was,"
McGonagall stared at him blankly.
I couldn't but notice there was this strange look in Snape's eye. He was eying Harry very superstitiously. He turned to me. I pulled my focus away.
"Tomorrow all of you will serve detention in the woods with Hagrid. Is that clear?"
We nodded.
"Back to your rooms. And this had better not happen again,"
(Harry P.O.V)
We sulked on our chairs in front of the fire.
"I'm sorry guys," I said. "It's my fault,"
"Not be so hard on yourself buddy," Blaise said.
"We agreed to this. And to be honest. It was the best night I had in a while," Pansy confessed.
"But we're goanna have to go the Forbidden Forest. And now Draco's just goanna keep on having excuses to bully us,"
"Did I just hear you three got detention? In the Forbidden Forest?" a voice jeered from the corner.
We turned and saw a smug, smirking Draco seated on a stool. "What a pity. I guess it'll be you who mum, and dad will be mad at this time,"
"Back off Draco," Pansy warned.
"I can't wait to see you coming crying back when you're scared. Or better yet, you might not come back at all,"
Blaise's fist punched Draco and he fell the floor. He clutched his rapidly bleeding noise. "Don't you ever do anything else other than make fun of your brother?"
Draco glared at him from the floor. Before he could utter another word, I was pulled away by Blaise with an arm around my shoulders.
"See you guys tomorrow," Pansy said.

The next evening, we started to make our way to the spot where Filch would meet us. We were met with glares, both soft and hard from other students in our house.
"I'm sorry guys," I said. "I shouldn't have brought you three into this,"
"It's okay Jenny. We stick together, remember?" Cass consoled.
"Yes. But now we're going to have to serve a detention in the Forbidden Forest,"
"Come on Jenny. McGonagall was probably making it up just to scare us," Henry tried to lift our spirits.
"But what if she isn't?" Ron questioned.
"Ahh…" Draco's voice approached. "Looks like the Foolish Four are going to off to the Forest. Once they're back, they're goanna come screaming like babies,"
Crabbe and Goyle snickered.
"You shut up Malfoy," Cass sneered.
"This is why you should have taken the hand of offer when you had the chance Jenny," Draco mocked at me. "You should have made friends with someone who wouldn't wear you down,"
"My real friends are not a burden," I stood up for them. "And you know what?" I stepped closer to him. "I get to choose what friends I want because I know how to judge people. I knew from the first moment I met you I couldn't be friends with you. You just wanted to be friends with me for pleasure, for benefit, for popularity. But I have real friends right behind me. And I will always have their back and they mine. The same most certainly won't be said for you,"
He did nothing but stare. We proceeded on our way.
So sorry for the long update. I was busy with coursework and another book. But here it is. Please let me know what you all thought and feel free to send over some ideas.
