The next morning Teela awoke from a startling dream that she was kissing He-man. She threw off her bed covers and started to pace, she had a feeling that it was all wrong but right at the same time. Then she realized she was still in her leotard dress outfit from the night before and remembered everything that happened in Adora's room. 'Adam loves me, Adam is He-man' she thought as she hugged herself. The dream was ok to have she accepted, but the thought of kissing He-man sent tingles throughout her body. She decided to get cleaned up and headed for the lavatory for a shower.

During her shower Teela remember the kiss they shared and how hard his body was for her. She shivered under the hot stream of water, "how were they going to react to each other in public and not create a scene." She wondered.

As Teela was getting dressed in her uniform, she was mentally making a list of all the questions to ask Adam. She knew they had to be asked privately, so she was frustrated by not knowing when they would get answered. Then she thought of their courtship, how were they going to tell everyone about her decision to court Adam. "Woah," Teela said to herself in her mirror fixing her headband. "One thing at a time, I need to find Adam."

A knock at her door startled her out of her musings, she went and opened the door to find Adam standing there. "Good morning, my love. I've come to escort you to breakfast." He said with a large smile.

"How do you always know when I need you Adam?" Teela said with a giggle.

Clasping her hand and leading her through the hallway. Adam said. "Because we were meant to be together and I want to make our announcement on your decision as soon as possible. I don't want to take the chance of you changing your mind"

"Oh, there's no chance of that happening, you're stuck with me, my love." Teela answered back.

"I like hearing 'my love' from you." Adam stopped in front of the dining room doors and kissed her hand. "Are you ready?" Teela nodded and they joined the others at breakfast.

Breakfast went splendidly, congratulations were given to the couple and plans to make the announcement at the afternoon court proceedings were made. Marlena wanted to meet after lunch to discuss continuing the courtship and Teela found herself in the Queen's parlor with Adora and Marlena. Adora was sharing her version of what happened last night with her mother. "That's when they kissed and I knew I had to break them apart. It was so romantic mother, it was like watching a play." Adora ended her storytelling.

Marlena looked to Teela, "My son can be so bull headed sometimes, I am so glad you set him straight. As for the kissing Teela, you really must control yourselves, you are not yet engaged and it is highly frowned upon during a courtship. You have months of this courtship ahead of you and the appearance of proper behavior is a strong priority."

"Yes mam." Teela acknowledged. "What happens now?"

"As for your courtship it should be continued as planned, I believe a dinner cooked by Adam was next on the agenda. We will have it scheduled for the following night. Other outings will be planned as the days progress. You have your duties during the day to keep you busy, so keep me updated with your schedule."

Teela nodded in compliance. The rest of the meeting was suggesting possible outings for the couple and the upcoming harvest festival in the city.

The court proceedings went as usual, from land disputes to baby announcements, Teela could only wait till it was their turn again on the dais. She looked to Adam and he seemed more nervous today than he was at the first announcement, she smiled encouragingly he looked at her.

"I have my own announcement to make." The King decreed. "The lady Teela has made her decision."

That was Teela's cue to join Adam on the front of the dais. They clasped hands in support.

The King continued. "I am happy to announce that her courtship will continue only with my son, Prince Adam."

The room came aloud with congratulations and clapping. Teela was looking around the room when she felt and saw Adam drop down to his knee. She could not think of what he was possibly doing.

The crowd died down and Marlena whispered, "Oh my dear." As she moved to get up. Randor stopped her with a hand on hers.

Randor smiled and said, "It's alright dear, look."

Adam cleared his throat and stated loudly so all of the court could hear. "My lady Teela, we have grown up together and learned from each other our likes and dislikes. Our journey in life has been well witnessed by this court and I would now like to ask for the honor of you becoming my wife."

Tears were forming in her eyes, Teela couldn't believe this was happening now. She shook her head yes. "Yes my love." She announced proudly. Adam raised up and kissed her soundly in front of the entire court.

As the court erupted with loud cheering. Marlena looked to Randor and stated, "You knew, you did not tell me."

"I did not want to ruin the surprise my dear. He came to me after breakfast, he had already seen Duncan and gotten his approval." Randor explained to his wife.

"After last night's happenings I don't know which is more romantic." Marlena began. "He takes after you and your stubbornness. Thank you my darling."

Randor asked. "What happened last night?"

Marlena began to explain to Randor how this moment almost never happened because of Adam's sense of honor.
