Last chapter.

Alexis was three days overdue and very uncomfortable. Randy was doing his best to make her comfortable. He felt really bad for her and hoped the baby would come soon. It was early in the morning. As Alexis went downstairs she could smell food cooking. She went into the kitchen and Randy was cooking.

"Morning." She said.

"Morning." "Your breakfast is almost ready."

"Honey, you didn't have to make me breakfast."

"Well I know you two are hungry."

She went up to him and put her arms around his neck. "Thank you." "You've been so great these last couple weeks." She kissed him. "I really appreciate it."

"I know you do." "You know I'm happy to do it, right?"

"Yeah." "I just don't want you to think you're unappreciated."

"I know that."

She gave him a long slow kiss. "After breakfast let's go back to bed."

"Alright."

"Maybe this time will make the baby want to come out."

"Maybe."

Later that evening they were in the living room. Alexis felt her water break.

"My water just broke." She said

"Let's go."

By the time Alexis was delivering she had been in labor for twenty-nine hours.

"I can see the baby's head." The doctor said.

"You can do it." Randy said. "You're doing great." She pushed and heard crying a few seconds later.

A few hours later she was holding her. The baby had blue eyes and a full head of brown hair..

"Can I see her?" Randy asked.

"Yeah."

"Come here, Alanna." He took her. "There's daddy's pretty girl."

"Instead of a bouquet at the wedding, I'm gonna hold her going down the aisle."

"That's great." They kissed. "I love you."

"I love you too."
