Furuichi watched as the Hime Boys walked into Ishiyama liked they owned the place from a second floor window. He was tempted to go down and humiliate them himself until he felt someone grab his hand.
He looked to see it was Kunieda, who shook her head. He looked back and sighed before following her.
"Hime-chan is something else, getting this much done in just a few days," Natsume said with his usual smile.
"Why are you smiling, Natsume," Shiroyama yelled. "That punk double-crossed us!"
"He's right, Natsume," Yuka yelled. "He even has his own boy band following him! They all have the same dumb hairstyle! On top of that, we were cast off to the tennis court, even when we have powerhouses like Furuichi, Nee-san, and Ogacchi!"
"Now, now, we can't rely on those three for everything. Besides, tennis is fun."
"Since you have the full gear on, you're obvious a glass half full type of guy! You look really good in that, though!"
"Simmer down, Paako. Take a look around. This isn't Furuichi's mansion, after all. All we can do is play tennis, right?"
"Like hell it is!"
"But it's best we don't move around too much right now," Furuichi said.
"This coming from the guy that makes Super Saiyans look like Saibamen?!"
"We're dealing with Himekawa. He's probably figured out what our next step is."
"He is the only one who can match you in wits," Natsume said.
"But you know, given his personality, I don't think Himekawa totally deserted us," Kunieda said.
"You think so, too," Furuichi asked.
"Yeah. I mean, his personality is more twisted than the stripes on a candy cane, so he might be pretending to betray is."
"I don't think so."
Everyone looked at Oga and Tojo, who were sweating and panting.
"You know, since Oga is a girl in this fan fic, that might be taken the wrong way," Furuichi said as he caught Oga's tennis racket.
"King's Crest," Tojo said as he opened a can of soda. "That thing, it only appears on those who have sworn allegiance, right? With Kanzaki having Oga's mark and Kunieda having yours? If that's the case, Himekawa is definitely on their side. His mark looks like yours."
"The symbol of House Lucifer. My mother's symbol," Furuichi said as he drank. "Still, I never expected you to lose."
Tojo crushed his drink. "I never should have let my guard down. How am I supposed to help you beat that Ganon cosplayer if I lose to Himekawa?"
"Tojo, he had some of my mother's demonic power in him."
"Does he have enough power to beat your demon old lady?" Furuichi looked down, making Tojo sigh. "That's what I thought."
"But that seals it," Kunieda thought. "Takamiya is a Spell Master. And if he's strong enough to have Furuichi's mother as his demon, we might be in trouble." Kunieda then realized something. "Oga?"
"Well, well, is part of your little scheme to keep us waiting, Mr. 3," Suzune, A.K.A Black Diary, the #5 asked. Himekawa didn't respond.
"Drop it, Suzune. He's been recognized as our #3, so I won't stand for in-fighting," Harumi the #2 said.
"He's right," Youken, A.K.A Observer, the #4 said. "The King's Crest doesn't play Favorites. The better you perform, the more trust you'll gain, and your number rises and falls accordingly."
"But HE has the same Crest, right? He's her son, after all," Suzune asked.
"True, our former #3 dropped in numbers, right, Takamiya," Kouken asked.
"Yeah," Takamiya responded. "Same Crest or not, the fact that our former #3 dropped so low is proof of how little use to me he is now. And that's all there is to it. I don't know how he leads, but all that matters is that you're useful to me. There's nothing more to it."
"H-Hey! Stop!"
"Hm? Is the devil about to appear," Takamiya asked, looking a bit interested.
"No. He's no idiot," Himekawa said.
Moments later, Oga blew the door open, holding a grunt.
"So that's her, huh," Suzune asked.
Takamiya's interest faded away.
"Sorry, but those glasses belong to me. I'm here to take it back," Oga said.
"You moron. I didn't betray you guys," Himekawa said. "I did all this so I could get good intel on these guys, so stay out of my way. Leave the thinking to me and your boyfriend."
"Huh? You serious? Oh. Well, s-sorry about that. I'll just be going."
"Yeah."
"Let's pretend this never happened. Oh, and Furuichi isn't my boyfriend, just to be clear," Oga called as she ran off.
Himekawa sighed. "When did I say Furuichi's name, idiot? So, as you can see, she's a total fool. But when it comes to her boys, especially him, she'll go all out for them. If you want to fight her, no holds barred, then go after him first," Himekawa said as he threw a dart.
It hit a picture of Silver Demon.
"Furuichi Takayuki, better known as the Silver Demon," Youken said with a smile.
"You must be pretty confident to want to go after him, Himekawa," Suzune said.
"Getting cold feet," Naito asked.
"Don't be an idiot," Suzune said. "This is the Hero of Ishiyama we're talking about."
"Forget the title, I'm more interested in the fact that he's the one who took down most of those Black Zodiac guys," Tsukishima said with a chuckle.
"Not to mention who his ancestral mother is," Inokuma said as he looked at Takamiya.
"Yes. My demon is his mother, but so what? She's contracted to me. She won't turn on me just because I'm fighting her baby boy. Still, from what I've heard, his power isn't anything to scoff at. I do want to fight him, but Oga is the bigger target, for now anyway."
"So how are we supposed to catch a guy at the same level as Black Zodiac? Those guys are as tough as they come," Harumi said.
"Oh, that's not a problem," Observer said. "My company has plenty of machinery for demons like him."
"You do know he has a familiar with him, right," Himekawa asks. "In fact, he has two. An fox that can pass as a Yuki-Onna and Ifrit himself."
"As I said, my company has plenty of tools. Just leave his capture to me."
Furuichi was in a convenience store, skimming through magazines, specifically magazines about guns and swords.
"Are you dissatisfied with your current weaponry, Master," Yukihime asked, not realizing the few people in the store were captivated by her beauty.
"It's not that. I'm just having trouble cleaning my weapons just right, and I was hoping there would be a few tips. Might even be inspired on how to upgrade them while I'm at it."
"Hm, I suppose that's reasonable."
"Besides, I might as well see if there are any new weapons I can buy. You can never be too prepared in a lifestyle like ours."
"That is true. Hm? Geh."
"Geh?" Furuichi looked up. "Geh. Since when did Himekawa learn Kage Bunshin?"
One of Himekawa's stooges held up a whistle. He then blew into it.
Yukihime then yelled out in anguish, holding onto her ears.
"YUKIHIME!"
Another stooge held up a small box and pressed the button on top of it.
Furuichi's vision then went hazy. He almost fell until he stomped forward, struggling to stand up.
"No way." Furuichi looked up to see the goons in front of it. "This was supposed to knock him out cold in a second. It's supposed to work on S-Class demons no problem."
"That's just how much of a demon this guy is. Remember when the boss tested it out on Takamiya's demon?"
"Mother?"
"This guy really is her kid."
"Good thing we were also given this." The goon then sprayed something in Furuichi's face. He gagged before he fell forward, totally unconscious.
Furuichi's eyes then shot open. He looked around to see he was in a classroom.
"You're awake." He looked to see Himekawa. "This is the second time I've kidnapped you, hero. Only my boys are much less banged up compared to last time. Can't believe they had to use the spray, though," Himekawa said as he tossed the vial. "How much of a monster are you?" Furuichi stared at Himekawa with an unreadable expression.
"So this is the Silver Demon?" Furuichi looked to see a man as large as Shiroyama with just as bad a hairstyle, wearing a mask. "I expected more," said Busujima, the former #3.
"It took a Demon Suppressor that would take down an S-Class and a vial of tranquilizer that would take down a Bull Gorgonzola. If you can't see how much of a monster this man is, then you deserve your ranking," Himekawa said.
"What was that," Busujima growled.
"He's right, Busujima." Furuichi looked to see-
"A magician? What the hell?"
"If you have forgotten, then let me remind you that this man is the descendant of Lucifer herself. I did some digging on him and found that he has not only defeated a majority of the Black Zodiac, but bested the Pillar Squad, survived encounters with Tyrant himself, and even received training from the mighty Lilith. He's as dangerous as they come. Why do you think we have those special cuffs on him?"
Furuichi looked behind him to see odd looking handcuffs around his wrists.
"They're meant to seal away his powers. He only has his base strength now. He's essentially a human right now."
"That so? Sucks to be him right now." Furuichi looked to see a guy in a baseball cap. "He looks about as strong as a mouse," Tsukishima (Psychic) said.
"He is also the only one who's been with Oga since elementary school. He's pretty much her partner."
"Huu-huu-huuuuu," Tsukishima went at Furuichi.
"Not that kind of partner, dude," Furuichi said.
"And what kind of partner do I mean, hero?" Furuichi grunted and looked away with a blush and groan. "Heh, a girl that fine deserves someone better than you anyway."
"Fuck you."
"Ooh, I like him."
"Anyway, you did well in bringing him here, former number 3," Observer said to Busujima, who huffed in response.
"Observer, those cuffs can be separated, right?"
"Oh, yes. They can double as bracelets that still seal away his powers. Why do you ask?"
"Hey, you bitches, let him loose. You idiots have the key, right?"
"Huh," the goons went.
"Fight me. If you win, you leave," he said to Furuichi. "I want to see what kind of man Oga's boyfriend is."
The goons separated the cuffs. Furuichi looked at his wrists. He then tried to break them.
"Nice try, Your Highness." Furuichi looked at Observer. "You may be, in every sense of the word, a superhuman, but no human has the strength to break those cuffs. If you had your powers, they would crumble like a cracker. As long as they're on your wrists, you're just a man."
Furuichi stared at the man before turning towards Busujima. "You know how powerful I am, and you still want to fight me?"
"Bring it."
Furuichi looked up at Busujima. He then felt a pain in his neck. He reached and pulled out a needle. He looked in the direction it came from, and saw a device that looked no bigger than a garage door remote in Himekawa's hand as he pocketed it. "Round 1."
"Oi, Himekawa, who said you could interfere," Busujima growled. "Do you think I'm such a little bitch that I need help to take on a weakened-"
"I said: Round 1."
Busujima glared at Himekawa before he threw a punch at Furuichi. Furuichi easily redirected the attack and landed a counter punch to Busujima's stomach, surprising the large thug as he buckled over. Furuichi then landed a palm strike to his exposed chin, making him airborne before he jumped to kick him.
However, when Furuichi jumped, he felt nauseated. He didn't have any strength to kick. Instead, he fell right onto his side, groaning.
Busujima landed on his feet, growling. "BITCH," he roared as he kicked Furuichi in the stomach with enough force to make him slide into the wall.
Busujima stomped over to Furuichi as he struggled to get back up. When Furuichi was on his feet, Busujima tried to kick him. Furuichi instead caught his leg and made his foot smash through the wall. Furuichi then took the chance to punch Busujima's face a total of three times.
When he tried to punch it a fourth time, Busujima caught his fist and headbutted him, a crunch being heard as he broke Furuichi's nose. He then ripped his foot out of the wall before lifting Furuichi over his head. He then slammed Furuichi onto the floor with enough force to crack the floor.
He then started to angrily and viciously stomp on Furuichi. With his last stomp, he was panting angrily. After panting a bit, he took a deep breath to calm down. "What the fuck are you?"
"Stronger than you, that's for sure," Tsukishima chuckled.
"Fuck you!" Busujima glared at Furuichi. "Is this guy really powerless? He doesn't even have a King Crest and he was able to take me on. Still, if our gear works on you, then Oga won't be worth shit."
"If you touch her," Furuichi groaned as he glared at Busujima. "I will personally tear out your heart and shove it down your throat."
Busujima then kick Furuichi in the face, making him spit out blood with a groan. "Takamiya, this still isn't sitting right with me. These guys are up to something."
Furuichi's eyes widened before he looked to see... a quite young man. "Who cares? I don't care what happens, as long as I get to fight Oga."
"You're Takamiya?" The boy looked at Furuichi. "You're my mother's contractor?"
"I am. And you know what, hero? She's the only reason I wasn't the one who fought you just now. Shows how much she cares about you, I guess," he said as his breath became visible.
Takamiya noticed that. "Oh?" The sound of screaming was heard. Takamiya chuckled. "It seems we have an uninvited guest."
"Yukihime," Furuichi whispered.
"You're familiar?" Furuichi looked up to see Takamiya smile. "I'll be sure to greet her properly." He then walked away, followed by Busujima and Tsukishima.
"Don't mind him." Furuichi looked to see Observer talking to Himekawa. "He's just been bitter ever since you came along and took over the #3 spot." An ice spike then appeared outside the window. "Ooh, she's strong."
"You have no idea," Himekawa said. "And I don't give a shit about the Crests. Outsiders are always treated poorly. The same could be said of you, Udagawa."
Observer watched as the ice spike crumbled away. "You're absolutely right. In terms of time, I've known Shinobu the longest. But in the end, I'm still someone from the Company and not some school thug like the rest of them. I'm sure a sharp guy like you has already figured out my 'Observer ' title's meaning. I'm only here to keep an eye on things," he said as the school began to rumble.
"It's not like I know what you're here to observe, but giving Takamiya demonic powers was just a matter of business, right?"
"Correct again. However, you're the same, right? You abandoned the guys you were with before and cling to Takamiya because of his power, right?" He then looked at Furuichi. "After all, Takamiya is contracted to his mother, and she's still more powerful than he currently is. You don't think like a thug, but a businessman."
Himekawa chuckled. "I feel like I've known you for a while, Udagawa."
"Same here." The school rumbled again. "I'm honestly a bit curious to know how their fight is going."
A mob character was sent smashing through a wall while another was frozen to another. Yukihime then elegantly spun around a thug that tried to hit her with a pipe before using her spear to trip the man and smashing him into the ground.
She glared down a hallway to see a group of thugs giving a battle cry as they ran to her, only for Yukihime to freeze them solid by blowing in their direction.
"Wow, you're strong." Yukihime glared at the approaching Takamiya. "Not bad for a familiar, but still not good enough."
Yukihime pointed her spear at Takamiya, unleashing a storm of cold wind that was freezing the hallway. "Give. Back. My. Master. Now." Takamiya's smile grew.
"Oh, the rumbling stopped. Shinobu must be dealing with it," Observer said.
The sound of a door slamming was heard. Himekawa and Observer looked to see that Furuichi was gone.
"Is that a problem," Observer asked.
"Considering that it's him, more than likely. Still, it's a good way to observe Takamiya himself, don't you think?"
"I couldn't agree more."
Furuichi ran through the halls, following the dropping temperature. The colder it was, the closer he was to Yukihime. As soon as he regrouped with her, he would leave and warn Oga. That was his plan, anyway. As he ran, he reached for his bleeding nose.
Maybe it was because of that, or maybe it was because whatever was inhibiting his powers. Either way, he didn't notice the large man until he was grabbed and thrown to the ground.
When the smoke cleared, Busujima and Tsukishima were standing there.
"This is the Silver Demon? The tactician of the Saint Crew? The guy who beat almost the entire Black Zodiac? He's a fucking retard," Busujima said. "That fool Himekawa. How could he let a drugged idiot get away?"
"Bull, let him go, kukuu," Tsukishima said. "He's weak now, so you might seriously kill him." Moments passed. "Bull?"
They then realized that Bull was unconscious, eyes and nose bleeding.
"Don't blame this on Himekawa, you big oaf," Furuichi said as he lifted the large man off of him. "The reason I was able to escape was because you cut me loose for laughs, former #3," he said, revealing that he had tissues in his nose.
"What the- How the hell?! There's no way the drugs left his system, and that damn toy of Observer's should be working on him anyway! How did he beat Bull with one hand and no King's Crest," Tsukishima yelled.
"Is that how powerful a son of a Deadly Sin is," Busujima asked, sweating nervously.
"You should watch who you're talking to. You yourself said I'm the Saint's tactician, as well as many other things. Still, thanks to you, everything has come to light."
"So, it's those tissues again. You didn't throw them away, huh? I'll lend your my power, Your Highness," Hecadoth said. "We also have a score to settle with these guys."
Furuichi couldn't help but remember how he regained the tissues:
"Aren't these the tissues I got from the Demon Lord? I thought you destroyed them."
"Of course not," Henry said. "If I hadn't said all that, you wouldn't have given them up. We have no idea who might show up, and I can't be at the Master's side at all times. Though you are powerful, who knows what underhanded tricks our enemies might have, not to mention a simple cold inhibits your power. In times such as those, no matter how rare it may be, I need you to be ready to defend them."
Furuichi couldn't help but chuckle. "Who would have thought that insanely rare moment would happen now?"
"What... What the hell did he do?! What kind of fluke is this," Busujima yelled.
"Oh, I see," Hecadoth began. "You guys can't see me, can you? While you have been imbued with demonic power, you aren't contractors."
"Busujima, allow me to check this fool out," Tsukishima said as he held out his arm. A spell appeared above his hand. Illegal Roulette
Tsukishima charged at Furuichi, jabbing at him several times, but Furuichi was able to easily dodge all of them.
Furuichi then kneed him in the face. "Were you even trying?" Furuichi then punched Tsukishima into the wall, making the building shake, the delinquent spitting out blood before falling down unconscious.
"Hm," Takamiya went as he looked up when the building shook. "It seems your master is up and about." He then looked at the panting Yukihime, who was using her spear to hold herself up. "Shouldn't you be rushing to his side?"
Yukihime growled at him before her eyes widened.
"Hm?" Takamiya looked behind him, only to be engulfed by flames.
"Get the hell away from my coworker."
"Ifrit," Yukihime went happily.
"Yo," he went with a wave. "You looked like you were having fun." Ifrit's eyes then widened. He held up his hand in time to block a kick that sent him skidding down the hall. He glared at his attacker.
"Hm, so you're the legendary Ifrit. Not bad. I'm sure you'll be plenty of fun," Takamiya said as he lowered his leg.
Ifrit began to sweat. "So this is Lucifer's Contractor. This might be tougher than I thought."
"So this human has a King's Crest," Hecadoth said. "It makes sense now. There have been strange incidents going on around us, too. Just between you and me, a few of our members have gone missing."
"Missing," Furuichi asked out loud, confusing Busujima.
"Yeah. After some digging, we found out someone had been kidnapping them. Even more unbelievably, that person is using a human group to sell their powers."
"The Solomon Company."
"Oh, to think you would know that name. Though, given that you're a Prince, that's easier to understand. Were you also told who Solomon was?"
"He was the first ever Spell Master contracted with a Demon Lord, right?"
"Seems Lilith taught you well. I don't know how that name correlates with these guys, but their target seems to be-"
"Baby Beel?"
"Yeah."
"Yo. Why the hell have you been whispering to yourself this whole time? So you were playing around when you let me beat you. You still had some of those damned powers of yours. I hate shit like that. But you weren't the only one hiding their power, hero," Busujima said as he took off his mask.
Both Furuichi and Hecadoth were dumbfounded. "YOU'RE NUMBER 9?! LAME!"
Busujima got angry. "THE NUMBERS DON'T REPRESENT POWER," he roared as he charged at Furuichi.
Furuichi then landed an uppercut with enough power to make Busujima's face slam into the ceiling before falling on his back, unconscious.
"No, that number suits you perfectly. I'm willing to bet I could beat you without Hecadoth's help, especially now that I'm not as sluggish due to Himekawa's tech."
"Hmmm, are you the one who did this?"
Furuichi turned towards the voice. His eyes shot open.
"I suppose that's too be expected from the Silver Demon."
Furuichi wasn't listening to Takamiya. All he could see was Yukihime being dragged by the collar of her kimono, and Ifrit being dragged by his ponytail.
Yukihime slowly opened her eyes. "Ma...ster."
Ifrit groaned as he opened his eyes, giving a defeated smile. "Sorry... Noble."
Takamiya roughly dropped the two familiars, walking forward while taking out gel. "You seriously piqued my interest. More than before, in fact. Fight me, Hero of Ishiyama," he said as he styled his hair.
Furuichi didn't hear him at all. He was staring at his subordinates with a shocked expression before looking up at Takamiya. "I'm going to kill you."
"Hm? Are you?"
"Luciferian, this might be too much for- HEY, WAI-" Furuichi removed the tissues, Hecadoth vanishing.
He then held up the pack, not taking his now icy look off of Takamiya. As if knowing which tissue to grab, he pulled them out and stuck them in his nose.
The windows began to crack.
"Hm, it's been a while, boy," Jabberwock said.
"Jabberwock... I don't care how much power you need to give or take from me. Help me kill... no, BUTCHER this man."
". . . My kind of wish. But are you sure? I can sense your mom's magic from him. He's her Contractor, isn't he?"
". . . But he's not her, is he?"
Jabberwock smirked. "No. He's not."
Takamiya chuckled. "You want to butcher me?" Takamiya then appeared at Furuichi's side. "THAT'S WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR!"
Takamiya threw a punch, but Furuichi blocked it with his elbow. However, both fighters flinched from pain, Takamiya's knuckles and Furuichi's elbow fracturing a bit from the force. However, Takamiya stomped onto Furuichi's foot.
"Don't roll over now, hero." He then landed a barrage of punches onto Furuichi's head. He was expecting Furuichi to fall to his knees.
Instead, Furuichi slammed his head onto Takamiya's, making the floor crack beneath them. Furuichi then punched Takamiya in the chest, making him step back. After that, Furuichi copied Takamiya's tactic, stomping onto his foot before punching away at his head. When he finished that combo, Furuichi punched Takamiya in the gut with enough force to make even him buckle over in pain before slamming his fists onto Takamiya's exposed back. The force of that attacked caused the floor to collapse beneath them.
Furuichi easily landed on his feet, but before he could even look for Takamiya, his face was grabbed.
Takamiya easily lifted him with one hand before slamming him into the ground. Takamiya dragged Furuichi around the floor before throwing him through a wall.
Takamiya strutted though the hole with a leer, only for Furuichi to smash a desk over Takamiya's head.
Takamiya actually laughed. "YOU FIGHT LIKE WE'RE IN A YAKUZA GAME! I LOVE IT," he cackled as he grabbed a desk and slammed it into Furuichi's chin. The force of the attack sent him smashing through the ceiling.
Takamiya jumped through the hole in time to see Furuichi face down, groaning as he tried to get back up. He stomped on his opponents back before walking around and squatting down in front of him. "You know, our fight was shorter in the original story. If we stuck to canon, I would be talking about manga power-ups and how humans can do the same. Still, that's long, boring, and tedious. The readers can just go to some website and read me saying all that in the original Beelzebub manga anyway. So, let's just skip to the good part and see how you plan on getting out of this, alright hero," Takamiya said as he pulled Furuichi's head up by his hair.
Furuichi's eyes then shot open, red as blood and angry as a rabid animal. "Who are you calling a hero, human," Jabberwock growled.
"Oh."
Jabberwock then punched Takamiya in the cheek with enough force to send him smashing through the wall.
Takamiya got up, rubbing his cheek before spitting out some blood. "Not bad, Pillar Leader. So, I take it the big hero's out cold?"
"No. He was just smart enough to give me control at that moment," Jabberwock said as he walked through the hole. "I'm glad he did, since you're seriously pissing me off." Jabberwock punched his palm. "Think I'm not good enough for your spells?! Think you can beat me with just your strength, punk?!"
"Yes. I do." Jabberwock growled at Takamiya's answer.
"WHOA!" The fighters looked towards the voice. "It's the Leader," Agiel said with a smile. "What's going on? Why are you here?"
"Hm? That human," O'Donnell went.
"It's Furuichi," Kusobra went.
"So you lot are here, huh? Hm? Tch, fine. Have it your way, kid," Jabberwock said.
Furuichi then sighed. "I'm glad to see you guys here. I'm guessing you were sent to investigate the missing members of your squad?"
"Bingo," Agiel went with a peace sign.
Furuichi smiled before he turned towards Takamiya. "Now, where were we?"
Takamiya chuckled. "This might actually be a challenge." His Crest then began to glow on his forehead. "I might actually need to get serious," he said with a smirk.
Oga walked past the unconscious Yukihime and Ifrit.
Takamiya spat out blood. "Damn, he was tougher with their help. I honestly thought I needed to kill him in order to beat him. He really is her son. I can only imagine how much fun he'd be to fight if it weren't for the machines holding him back. If I had known, I would have chosen to fight him first instead of you..." He then turned behind him. "Oga."
She stood in front of the defeated Pillar Squad, glaring at Takamiya.
"You're late, Oga," said a bloody Takamiya, a trail of blood coming down the right side of his face while a trickle of blood flowed down from the left side of his mouth. He used his arm to wipe off the blood on his face before spitting out what was in his mouth.
"Your boyfriend gave me one hell of fight. And all because..." He put his foot on Furuichi's head. "I kicked his cute, little pets."
Oga then kicked him in the face faster than he could react.
He recovered and tried to punch Oga in the face, but she countered by headbutting his fist, which caused his fist to bleed.
"ZEBUL EMBLEM!" Her punch sent Takamiya bouncing down the hall.
Furuichi chuckled. "That's Oga." He then realized something. "Wait..."
"Why didn't it explode," Oga thought as she watched Takamiya get up with a leer.
"You're pretty soft."
"Hah?"
"Softer than the Prince. You both treat your demons like family, but at least he was trying to kill me. You? Not so much. At least Noble is acting more like..." Everyone's eyes widened. "Like his dear mommy here," he said as Lucifer appeared on his shoulder.
"Mother?" In that split second, Lucifer glanced at Furuichi before looking away... sadly.
She then held out her hand towards Oga. Before she knew it, Oga was being punched in the chin by Takamiya, bouncing across the walls, ceiling, and floor. There was enough force to throw off Baby Beel.
"That... was Furuichi's thing," she said as she spat the blood out of her mouth from her nosebleed.
"This sucks. My hopes were high after hearing Zenjuro trained you. I guess I should have expected way more from Lucifer's kid. He was able to give me a decent fight, despite being at his weakest. Still..."
Furuichi didn't react when Takamiya aimed his palm at him, the crest of House Lucifer glowing brightly in his palm. "To make her go all out, you die!"
Takamiya stopped when he noticed the Zebul Emblems aimed at his head.
"You're the one who's going to die," Oga said, flask in her mouth as she prepared to punch the Emblems. "DEMON LORD'S GREAT EXPLOSION," she internally roared as she punched the first emblem, causing a chain reaction.
"Didn't you learn anything? That won't work on m-," he began as he raised his hand to block the explosion, only to notice Oga at his side. He couldn't avoid her heavy fist striking his cheek. Her punch made him bounce from the ceiling before the explosion hit him point blank.
The force of the explosion sent Furuichi flying back. "Oga, please don't try to kill me, too!" Furuichi was actually shocked to see Takamiya stand from that explosion.
"That... hurt." He then began to chuckle. "That hurt. That really hurt." He then began to laugh loudly. "That really hurt, dammit! Himekawa hit the nail on the head! You really do get stronger when your friends are involved, especially your boyfriend! Too bad..."
Furuichi's eyes then widened when he felt a stab from behind.
"You still die."
Furuichi then felt something get pulled out. He looked down to see a hole in his chest before looking behind him to see his mother holding his heart. He stared at her before he... smiled. "I... couldn't sense you at all. You made it look easy. So... that's how strong my ancestral mother is. I don't hold a candle to you. I'm proud... to be... your... son." Furuichi then fell face down, eyes closed, unmoving with a smile on his face.
Lucifer looked down... a single tear falling down her cheek. "Damn you. Of all the things you could have said to me... you chose the most cruel thing to say. Instead of spewing the hatred I deserve... you speak lovingly of me? You stupid son," she thought, her own heart breaking at what she had done.
"FURUICHI," Oga screamed, rare tears flying out of her eyes.
"No way," Agiel whispered, tears falling. "Is he..."
"D-d-da-da," Baby Beel whimpered, tears welling up.
"N-Noble," Ifrit struggled to say as he reached for his fallen master.
Yukihime just stared at his body, her eyes as wide as can be, totally blank, tears flowing.
"Simmer down. He's not dead," Takamiya said. "Not yet at least." No one responded. "What I took from the hero was his soul. Even if it's not in his body, he'll live as long as it's in tact. However, that's only true until morning. After the sun rises, his soul will go to where it deserves. So, in other words..."
Lucifer carved the heart-shaped soul into seven pieces, shocking everyone. Had anyone been looking at her, they'd see Yukihime's claws tearing into the floor, icing it over. Six of the souls were floating above Lucifer's hand, all of them surrounded by blazing aura.
"Our game has gone into time attack mode, fellow Spellmaster." The pieces then flew away. "I just sent the fragments to my followers. You have until morning to gather the fragments. If you do, I'll fight you once more." He then held up a fragment. "You'll get the last piece if you can-" Takamiya was interrupted when the entire hallway was covered in ice in a split second.
He looked down in surprise to see that his legs were even frozen, something he easily fixed by merely clenching the muscles in his calves and thighs. He looked behind him to see Yukihime stand up, her eyes hidden by her hair, a violent ice storm raging around her. "Give.. It... Back," she said in a disturbing calm voice that froze the soul.
He smirked at her. "Give what back?"
Yukihime's eyes were revealed, filled with absolute rage and hatred. "GIVE BACK MY MASTER'S SOUL," she roared. When she did, Takamiya and everyone else except Oga received a shock when she grew nine tails at once.
"Oh? Things have gotten interesting." He then looked to his side when he heard the ice begin to crack.
"Oi." He looked towards Oga. "You said that was the last piece," she asked as she picked up an angry looking Baby Beel. "Bullshit. That's the first one."
Takamiya looked at Oga before looking back at Yukihime. He then chuckled. "I'm stuck between two furious ladies. . . This is going to be fun."
A/N: YES! I DID IT! MY LAST UPLOAD OF 2020! Phew. To all those who still follow this fic, you now know that I'm still alive. Sorry. As you all probably know, life's a bitch: job, family, lack of time, and now, a freakin' pandemic. Ain't life just grand? Still, I refuse to let this fic die. I WILL see it to the end! Though, admittedly, I've been distracted by another fic I created: Old Man Jaune. A RWBY fan fic. I also let it get adopted and am actually helping the guy expand it. That's right, the the Monty Oum to his Miles Luna. Mine is more of a roadmap to what could be than an actual story, admittedly, but I had a lot of fun writing it. Check it out and leave a review. Believe it or not, those reviews help writers like me out a lot.
Oh, and by the way, did you guys know Tamura-sensei made a new manga series? Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin. It... is... glorious! If you thought the fishmen from One Piece were crazy, you ain't seen nothin' yet! Check it out and give the sensei some love!
Well, let's hope the first update of 2021 is sooner rather than later.
Until then!
