It's four o'clock in the morning in my house, and I am so going to go to sleep after I finish publishing this chapter on all the platforms where I publish my story.

I drink too much tea.

I made a drawing of Magikarp with Dio's face last night.

Maybe I'll update the author's notes. Good night and enjoy the chapters !

It was strange to notice how much things changed since I whispered those three little words to the Doctor.

Waking up after a full sleep cycle in the Doctor's arms was part of it. I would sometimes wake up and feel the Doctor behind my back, his arm against my stomach; it was like a cocoon given the difference in size, his head was often above mine, his chin against the top of my head, although sometimes he would kiss my neck, his lips kissing soft, warm skin on my neck on a few occasions. Other times I woke up after sleeping, with my face buried in his neck and my hand resting on his chest.

That morning I woke up in the first position. Although I didn't wake up by myself, but by the kisses the Doctor pressed on my neck. With a sigh of tiredness and pleasure I rolled over and moved a bit closer to the Doctor to take advantage of his warmth. His arms wrapped around my back and I could only guess that there was a smile on his lips. One of his hands reached up to my neck and played with a few red locks.

After a couple of minutes, I was wide awake, but that didn't mean I was moving from the Doctor's arms. In fact, I let my procrastinating side come out and did nothing but enjoy the Doctor's embrace and cuddles. He quickly noticed my act of course, and after a few minutes I felt him huffing and puffing and laughing half way.

" Good morning, Alvia," whispered the Doctor tenderly, his chest vibrating as he spoke.

"Good morning you too, Doctor. "I greeted him using the same tone, passing an arm over his chest.

" We have to get out of bed, you know? "he chuckles after a few minutes, realizing that I wasn't going to get out of bed.

"Nooo..." I complained. "I don't want to, why don't we have a day off? The bed and your arms are so comfortable."

"Don't you think it would be too much? You sleep a lot, you know?"

"And you don't get enough sleep. "I replied, moving away slightly to face the Doctor. "We've had this conversation enough times, Doctor. We only repeat over and over again what has been said so many times already."

"And as always, you are right." he sighs, already giving up the battle, moving his fingers slowly to rub my head. "You win, let's stay in bed today. Except for mealtimes, of course."

"Meals are sacred." I agreed, as if we were talking about a universal peace treaty.

"Still, sometimes I wish you weren't right all the time."

"Be careful about what you ask for, Doctor." I warned, suddenly getting up, facing him and resting on one elbow. "It could be dangerous. Very dangerous."

"Nah, it can't be that dangerous," he denies, getting up too.

"Let's pretend during one of our adventures that I thought I was right, only to find out that I was wrong. An adventure that I know, that I saw. " I said to him, slowly caressing his chest with my clothes on, looking at his eyes without flinching. "That would mean it's different. And different might not be a good thing, it could be dangerous, it could be even more dangerous than it was originally. And that Doctor... That terrifies me to death. More than the Cybermen and the Dalek, more than the Ice Warriors or the Zygons. More than..."

The Doctor interrupted me and my monologue as he put his fresh lips against mine, swallowing my words. I closed my eyes during the kiss, moving my lips to dance with the Doctor's lips.

"Let's not think about it anymore. "he said before he gently kissed my jaw. "I'm sorry I brought it up, I should have known better. "He continued, before slowly lowering his hand down my neck with soft, little kisses.

His voice whispering apologies into my neck and near my ear along with his kisses on my skin made me shiver and gasp from pleasure, and he noticed it. He paid more attention to my neck and I could no longer stop the shivers coming up my spine or the sighs from my half-open lips. My hands slipped into his back and his hair as everything became more and more intense. One of the Doctor's hands grazed my hip and caressed my thigh only to stop and curl up on the back of the same thigh.

I took a deep breath and reached out slightly, stopping the Doctor in his cares towards my neck. He looked up and I met his gaze in which I could detect a mist of pleasure in his dilated pupils.

"Is this too much?" he asks with some concern.

I swallowed silently.

"Just... just go slower. Please."

"You can tell me to stop anytime, and I'll do it immediately. I promise."

I made a small nod and the Doctor gave me a tender smile before he kissed me delicately. The flame of the moment, which had faded a bit, was restored. I couldn't help but run my hands through his fantastic and so soft hair, over his back, neck and chest. Shivers came back and goose bumps appeared on my forearms.

The Doctor moved my thigh which he held to fit between my legs without pressing himself against me. Instinctively I wrapped my legs around him at his hips. His hand, which was under my thigh, moved again to move up towards my belly and slide under my shirt in the direction of my chest. When the pulp of his fingers touched the skin of my belly, I felt like I was marked by fire and his fingers warmed my skin at the slightest touch. The Doctor came back to my neck and from his lips came his playful and extremely skillful tongue. Licking, sucking, biting at the tender and fragile skin of my neck, a tacit desire to mark me became clear.

His fingers were gradually making their way up the distance and he took his time to reach where he wanted to go, his fingers were only a few centimetres from my chest and I could imagine the ghost of his fingers brushing against me, caressing me, touching me. Finally, his hand came to an end and the curve that connected his thumb to his forefinger settled against the curve of my breast.

The coolness of his hand against the warmth of my breast increased the heartbeat of my heart and the rhythmic sound of my pulse increased every second, and then I heard the four-beat rhythm that his two hearts were playing. It was like a rumbling, a drum ...

Wait... what?

Drum?

At the very moment I put a hand against the Doctor's chest to stop him and find out the origin of the drum a familiar melody was being played to our left. We looked at each other, confused and aimless, before finally turning our heads towards the source of the absolutely unexpected and unsolicited noise. It was my phone, innocently resting on the bedside table, the screen turned on to display a recorded number and it was ringing and playing the opening theme of Doctor Who. It was fucking ironic that I was interrupted by the sound of the show which broadcasts the adventures of a 900-year-old alien travelling through time and space; the same alien I was kissing not even a minute ago.

" That' s my phone. "I declared stunned.

"Your phone got the worst timing. »

" The one who calls have the worst timing. »

" And who is it, then? "asks the Doctor, withdrawing from between my legs to let me catch what seems to be his new enemy.

I grabbed the noisy, vibrating phone to look at the name on the display.

"It's Jackie." I told him, frowning slightly.

The Doctor groaned, falling on his back as he rubbed his face with both hands. I thought I heard a "of course it would be her..." but I wasn't sure because of the ringtone. Soon I swiped one finger on the screen to take the call and put the phone close to my ear.

"Hello?"

"FINALLY! It's been months since you left and I called you so many times only to have you hang up on me the first few times saying that you were the wrong person, and now after so many calls you finally pick up the phone!" yelled a voice on the phone, attracting the curious look of the Doctor who became slightly disapproving because of its volume.

I wonder why... I thought ironically about the words spoken by the voice on the phone.

"Good morning, Rose... " I sighed as I took a few strands out of my face and looked at the Doctor with a bored look on my face.

He widened his eyes when the name came out of my mouth. I think he didn't expect her to call and yell at me. His surprised look turned to disapproving and he pursed his lips as he heard her lovely yelling voice - which was destroying my eardrums - through the tiny speakerphone.

"My mother pisses me off about looking for work and she plans to force me to work at the butcher's! Come back immediately, there's no way I'm working there! And you'd better not be late!" she yells furiously.

And on these words, she hung up, relieving my bruised ear with her banshee screams. Just to annoy her, to make her understand that we weren't her dogs on whom she could bark her orders whenever she wanted; I was thinking about telling the Doctor to be late or even... not picking up Rose at all.

"I suppose our time of freedom together is over," stated the Doctor.

"You suppose correctly," I confirmed, my voice dripping with sarcasm. "How did you come to that assumption?"

The Doctor gave me an unimpressed look with a raised eyebrow as a bonus.

"I think I need to have a little chat with Rose..." mumbled the Doctor as he got up out of bed. "Between your stormy discussions and this call, Rose must remember I decide who is on board the Tardis. She should at least give you a modicum of respect as a person."

"It's not worth it Doctor... and then, I think it's a bit too late."

"It will be a warning, then. I should have done it a long time ago. I should have warned her from the very moment she started to get more and more openly hostile towards you," he says finally.

Knowing that I couldn't change the Doctor's mind, I didn't say anything but nodded slightly. I put the phone on the bedside table and left the bed too. The Doctor came over and put a kiss on my lips and said.

"See you in the console room in 30-40 minutes? "

" Okay. I' m going to take a shower. I'll see you later."

He kissed me again and left my room, probably to get dressed and maybe take a shower as well; I sighed annoyed as I rubbed the edge of my nose before heading to my wardrobe to pick up an outfit and go straight to the bathroom. The shower didn't take more than ten minutes and after a quarter of an hour, I was untangling my hair with my hairbrush and then tying them in a loose bun with loose locks that were falling out and framing my face. I took the remaining time to put some eyeliner and mascara on my upper lashes before I put my glasses over my nose.

I retrieved my phone and my screwdriver, respectfully and respectively putting them in the pockets of my skinny cargo trousers and then laced up my red converses and joined the Doctor who was tying his tie. He retightened the knot of his tie a bit and put it back on correctly afterwards he ran one hand through his hair to remove two or three strands of hair that fell on his forehead.

"Next destination, the Powell Estate." he says as he turns on the Tardis engines.

He lowered a lever and the room moved slightly as the Tardis went into the Time Vortex. The flight was silent except for the iconic grinding sound coming from the Tardis. We looked at each other, like lovers who were leaving each other only to never see each other again for a long time. I slipped an arm under his whose hand held the lever and gently put my hand on his then rested my head against his arm. His other hand reached up to my face to caress my cheek with his thumb and I closed my eyes, enjoying those last moments between us, without anyone to get in our way.

Sadly, this moment was short-lived, as we soon landed in London, the Tardis materialising between the swarming living quarters of the Powell Estate. We arrived at the end of the day, as the sun was already starting to set. We left the Tardis, waiting reluctantly for Rose's appearance. She showed up a few minutes later, running, her hair flapping in the air as she looked like a maniac; followed by her mother Jackie, who looked tired and exasperated.

When Rose noticed the unique blue of the Tardis and the Doctor, it was as if all those dreams came true and she ran towards us before she jumped into the Doctor's arms. The Doctor hadn't expected her to do this and found himself outstretched, his arms in the air without knowing what to do with them; just like the eleventh when River kissed him for the first time in Stormcage.

Jackie joined us, panting, but pleased to see us. As Rose monopolised the Doctor's attention, I focused on Jackie and went to hug her, sincerely happy to see her.

"Alvia, how are you, sweetheart? " greeted the mother.

"I'm fine, and you? Not too hard these last few months? »

"It could have been worse, at least Howard visited me several times. »

"The same Howard from whom we borrowed the pyjamas and bathrobe for Christmas?" I asked curiously.

"The same one, although our relationship is purely friendly; he seems to have found his soul mate. I've met her, such a nice woman; they deserve each other." She tells me with a satisfied look on her face. "What about you? "she asks me, gesturing her head towards the Doctor.

"Things go well. He has been nothing but charming to me." I smiled tenderly as I looked at the Doctor who finally got rid of Rose.

Jackie knew that look, the look in my eyes. She knew it extremely well, and that's why she asked me, lowering her voice a bit so that her daughter couldn't hear.

"Are you...?"

"Yes," I confirmed shyly, rubbing my neck. "Yes, we are."

"I am so happy for you. If he makes you happy, that's all that matters, you deserve it after all you've been through," congrats Jackie with a sweet maternal smile. "Can I ask how long it's been?"

"During Mickey's first trip, we were in France, Versailles to be exact; a few years before the French revolution."

She whistled in surprise.

"That long? What does Rose think about it?"

"She doesn't know and that' s a good thing."

She nodded with understanding.

"You're going to stay for dinner I hope?" Jackie asked, her voice a slightly louder to be heard from her daughter and the Doctor.

"Mum, you know the Doctor doesn't do domestic." Replied Rose in a squeaky tone.

"Oh, I don't mind!" contested the Doctor, with his hands in his pockets, coming closer after escaping from Rose's arms. "Especially if it's good as what we got for Christmas."

"I'm not going to cook a new turkey! But I think you'll like it just as much!" smiles Jackie. "Come on you big idiot, I'll make some tea."

Rose pouted and complained like a 5-year-old child, but that didn't stop us from moving on without her and went to Jackie's flat to relax on her sofa and have a nice cup of tea. On our way to Jackie's house I could feel the Doctor's hand and fingers brushing mine, almost like it wasn't done on purpose, but I knew better, because as I gave a sidelong glance at the Doctor, I saw the little grin that raised the corner of his lip after meeting his gaze which betrayed his innocence.

The evening passed peacefully, Rose brought back some things and left them in her room inside the Tardis. When the night came, Rose lying in her bed after drinking too much during dinner, Jackie teasing and keeping the Doctor in a conversation that was likely to last for quite some time, I decided to get some fresh air. I told the duo that we were in the middle of a conversation before I left to go upstairs on the top floor.

The fresh night breeze caressed my cheeks and neck as I watched London glowing in the night. I put my arms against the stone railing and then crossed them. After a couple of minutes, I couldn't help but pick up my phone from one of my thigh pockets of my pant leg. I played with it briefly before tapping it twice to turn on the screen and unlocking it with my fingerprint. I took a few pictures of London by night, keeping them as a souvenir before putting it away immediately. I had an uneasy feeling about the future that was to follow. I played with it briefly and tapped it twice to turn on the screen and unlocked it with my fingerprint. I took some pictures of London by night, keeping them as a memory before I put it back away immediately. I had an unpleasant feeling about the future that was about to come.

My mind wandered through the meandering memories I still remember about the show, what was about to come and the details I remembered. The end of the season was near, too nearly for my comfort, but there were still two notorious episodes left before I got there. The episode with Satan and the black hole and the child at the 2012 Olympics. I remember some things, but the smallest details vanished from my mind. I could indeed go and watch the episodes on my computer, but I don't think I could stand it anymore. What would I do if the doctor caught me watching them?

No, it became far too dangerous to watch the episodes. It was better if I left my computer off and hid safely deep inside the Tardis. Doctor Who or Torchwood, I now only had to rely on my memories. All the more so if, by some misfortune, Torchwood or worse... the Master found it. This could be the real end of this universe and perhaps the end of reality itself.

The Master... With the threat of Torchwood, I almost forgot he was already here. Since I've got confirmation of his presence from Sarah-Jane, I clearly couldn't try to stop Yana from opening his watch. Time had already been written about it and trying to change it would do no good.

I was frustrated to know that there was nothing I could do and this helplessness took me by surprise. The memory of Jack, Martha's family and the Doctor being tortured by the Master left me nauseous. If I couldn't stop the Master from emerging then I had to find a way to decrease all of the damage he would cause.

Suddenly, a pair of arms wrapped around me, a chest folded in my back and a pair of lips resting against my temple made me suddenly came back to reality and startled.

"What could have made you so deep in thought that you didn't notice me until now? "asked the Doctor softly.

"Spoilers..." I whispered, closing my eyes and leaning against him. "Have you found a way to end the endless discussion with Jackie?"

"No, she got a phone call."

"Ah. How lucky you are..." I chuckled sweetly.

The Doctor put a kiss on the top of my head and looked at the horizon with me in silence. In this calm, almost restful, the Doctor cuddled me tenderly, laying gentle, innocent kisses against my exposed, fresh skin. As I enjoyed this moment of tenderness, I began to think about the fact that these moments won't happen as often as they used to with Rose's return. It was terribly selfish of me to think this, but I wish she could stay here a bit longer. All I wanted was a little more time alone with him.

"Where would you like to go tomorrow? " asked the Doctor calmly, his breath close to my ear.

I lifted my head to look at the starry sky hidden by the veil of pollution created by the city.

"Why not in a place with spring time? not too hot, not too cold; just the ideal weather... " I suggested.

"Springtime?" repeated the Doctor, "I think I know the perfect planet for that."

"Hmm... You know all the good places it seems" I hummed with appreciation, relaxing against the chest on my back.

"Despite popular belief, I don't know everything. Sometimes I discover new things."

I shared a laugh with the Doctor before we both returned to a comfortable silence. After a good time showing him my back, I decided to turn around and wrap my arms around him. The Doctor leaned over and kissed the top of my head, one of his hands rubbing my back up and down. Lulled by the sound and rhythm of his two hearts, I suddenly began to yawn.

The doctor moved back slightly with a tender but amused smile on his lips. Acting like a perfect gentleman, he wiped away a tired tear that was forming at the corner of my eye which was ready to flow.

"Tired?" murmured the Doctor.

"We can't say that everything we've been through lately has been restful, can we?"

"True," conceded the Doctor, holding my hands as if we were going to waltz. "But where would the fun of adventure be without that?"

I gave no answer, offering only a simple smile to the Doctor, who responded with a similar smile. Ah... we were both lovely, smiling like children, dancing sweetly with no music playing around in the background, oblivious to the rest of the world, and enjoying each other's warmth, tenderness and love. Ah... we were so cute in Jackie's eyes...

Wait what?

I turned my head towards the blonde woman who looked at us with affection, a smile on her lips and a dreamy sigh.

"Oh, don't mind me. You are so lovely the two of you."

Somehow, I could only guess that my cheek slowly turned red as I let out a nervous, embarrassed laugh and hid my face into the Doctor's chest. The Doctor's arms wrapped around my shoulders and back.

"What are you doing here, Jackie?" finally asked the Doctor.

"It's after midnight; I'm going to sleep and so I'm going to lock the door; so, either you sleep at my place or go back to your box." declared the mother, with her arms folded.

"I think we'll go back to the Tardis, but thanks for the offer Jackie." responded the Doctor.

Jackie nodded and then left. A couple of minutes later the Doctor moved, breaking the hug and dragged me, hand in hand, back into the Tardis. The Doctor walked surprisingly towards my room. It looked like the Doctor was going to spend the night here.

"It's like we're spending our last night together..." I joked gently as I removed my make-up with a cotton wipe.

"With Rose back on the Tardis, I don't think we'll have that opportunity again," adds the Doctor, putting his suit jacket and tie on the back of my desk chair.

I threw the used piece of cotton in the little dustbin near my foot and started to undo my bun, removing the pins that were holding my loose strands before brushing them to remove any possible knots. Once I had finished brushing my hair and teeth, I took off my shoes and started to unbutton my trousers when I realised the Doctor was silently watching me, sitting on the edge of my bed with his shirt unbuttoned.

I didn't know what I was feeling at the moment, being observed by the Doctor's unreadable gaze. I was torn in multiple feelings, anxiety stretching my traumatised body and alarming my mind, animosity at being judged for my body, flattery about being looked by the man I loved and so many other things.

And to sweep away most of my negative feelings, the Doctor raised an inviting hand which I took hesitantly after a few minutes of observation and silent reflection. His hand wrapped itself around my wrist as soon as my fingers touched the skin of his palm, pulling me close to him until I found myself almost sitting on his legs. Even sitting, the Doctor was almost at my height.

And the Doctor's plan was to have me sit down so that I would be at his level, for he pulled me down so I would fall and catch myself by gripping both of his shoulders and I would be forced to ride on his knees and thighs. But despite this, I didn't say anything, because instinctively I knew there was no point to break the silence between us; all of our actions were speaking for us.

On the other hand, taking advantage of this unique closeness between us, I put my hands on his neck, on his shoulders and took off his shirt with some help from him before throwing the shirt away. I swallowed nervously as I rested my hands against his shoulders and watched his bare chest. I dared to slide my hands over his chest to put them where his two hearts were. I discovered with a surprising fascination that his chest was slightly hairy.

The Doctor let out a trembling breath and placed his forehead against mine. His hearts were beating so hard and fast. His previously motionless hands decided to move, they slid towards my hips under my shirt and moved upwards, making my cloth also rise so that it could be pulled off. It was when the Doctor's hands came to rest against my ribs just below my bra, that I decided to take off my shirt and throw it away to the same area where the Doctor's shirt was resting.

The Doctor's pupils dilated as my chest, covered by the fine burgundy cloth, met his. One of his hands reached up to my neck to draw me into a kiss full of desire and both my hands found their places against his jaw and in his hair. He wrapped his arm around my lower back and took me with him into bed, rolling us so that I could lay against the mattress and he would be on top of me.

I felt nervous and yet I trusted him.

"Tell me if this is too much," whispered the doctor, "I won't do anything you don't want."

I slowly shook my head and reassured him with a hand against his cheek.

"No, that's good enough for me. "I said in a whisper, looking at him tenderly. "You don't have to do anything more"

He nodded and lay down next to me before bringing me closer to him. The Doctor seemed ready to fall asleep when I reminded him that we were still dressed.

"Doctor, I don't know about you but I don't want to sleep with my trousers still on."

He stood up very suddenly, looking at my clothed legs and then at his with confusion. I suddenly burst out laughing when I saw him get up to remove the clothing which immediately became offensive to his eyes. I rolled to the side to take off my trousers and grab my pyjama bottoms before settling under the blanket. I was joined not even a few minutes later; his chest folded against my back, his arm went under my head and my pillow while the other one wrapped himself around my belly and grabbed my hand to cross our fingers together. His lips placed a soft kiss across the crook of my neck.

We didn't say anything, not even a good night, because we didn't need to. And the beating of his hearts that echoed behind my back mixed with mine was a sweet lullaby that made me fall asleep.

Naturally the next day came too soon and after we dressed and had a hearty breakfast we had to watch and take part in the strange farewell ceremony that Jackie had planned as Rose came in and paraded into the Tardis.

"Take care of yourself, sweetheart! " Jackie told me with a hug. "And if there is any problem with the Doctor, he will hear about me and get one of my slaps. "

The Doctor made a panicked noise and rubbed his cheek as if he remembered the pain from the slap Jackie gave him in his former incarnation.

When goodbyes were over, we both went back to the Tardis where Rose was waiting for us, sitting in the pilot's chair watching her nails looking bored.

"All right! "exclaimed the Doctor after he closed the door of his Tardis. "Shall we go?" he asked rhetorically.

"Where are we going?" asked Rose, jumping from her seat to stand beside him. "If you don't have any ideas, I've been thinking about where we could go."

Knowing her, it was places where they had beach, was hot weather or had at least a pink colour peculiarity like the sky or the grass. It already happened and I don't want to talk about it - I'm still traumatised by the fluorescent pink sky-.

"Oh, I had already planned a trip. " apologised the Doctor, as he turned on the Tardis engines and took a quick look at me. "Maybe next time."

Rose shrugged, and accepted without reluctance the trip already planned by the Doctor.

The Tardis' rotor began to grind and move up and down, the lights flashed happily and the very uncontrolled dematerialisation of the Tardis threw us into the Time Vortex so abruptly that the ride was quite chaotic. But now it was usual, the Doctor's catastrophic driving was only part of the fun we had in our adventures.

And so, as I held myself against the console to prevent me from falling backwards, as the Doctor leaned to the left to pull a lever when he was already pressing a button and Rose was holding on to one of the coral pillars, we were back to our travels and adventures filled with laughter, fear and excitement, adrenaline, tears and sweat, but also, in Rose's complete ignorance: with tenderness and love.
