Meanwhile...

Begu rocketed across the lush greenery of the forest for a while, until he came across the entrance of a familiar cave, along with a familiar green spider.

Lee happily waved at the Octorian as he landed on the ground.

Begu waved back and said, "Hey, Lee!"

Lee greeted, "Hiya, Begu!"

"Is your queen here today? I wanted to chat with her for a bit."

"Yes, of course! She's relaxing in her room."

Begu grinned, "Haha! Sweet!"

The Octorian proceeded to fly through the dark, cavernous halls, once again holding up a ki ball in order to see clearly. Once he entered the main cave, Begu continued to fly past the various different spiders that were now angrily hissing at him from below.

"Just ignore them, just ignore them...", thought Begu as he went through more corridors.

The purple alien finally arrived at Queen Shannon's room, where he saw her quietly practicing a bit of shadowboxing, all while her radio was playing the song 'Never' by the pop band Heart.

Begu noticed that more tree branches were added to the queen's makeshift couch. He thought, "Geez, just get an actual couch for crying out loud..."

He casually walked in, and wanting to get Shannon's attention, he cleared his throat in a rather loud fashion.

Shannon muttered, "The heck was that?"

She turned her head around and saw Begu, "Oh! Begu! Didn't see you there!"

The arachnid hybrid crawled over to her radio, and turned it off.

"So, how's it going?", she asked.

"Nothin' much.", Begu replied, "Well, okay, that was a lie. A LOT of crazy stuff has gone down in the past two days."

Shannon raised an eyebrow in confusion, "I mean, besides that whole Frieza business, and the big battle we had, what ELSE has occurred?"

Begu sighed, "Let me explain."

The Octorian sat down on the makeshift couch and began explaining the ominous warnings Mafin and the others received about the two other androids, and the Z-Fighters' plan to combat them. Shannon remained slack-jawed the entire time.

After he finished, the queen nervously sputtered out, "Th-That, I, um, sounds, uhh..."

She took a deep breath, and started again, "That sounds crazy. Crazy and horrifying at the same time."

Begu agreed, "Oooh, yeah. Yeah, it is."

"I mean, like, n-not even I would go that far! I just wanted to take over the world, not strip it of life!"

"Yeah. These two androids mean business."

Shannon inquired, "So, what are you even doing here, then? Shouldn't you be training with your other friends?"

Begu replied, "Yeah, that's actually the reason why I came here..."

Shannon questioned, "What do you mean?"

"What I mean to say is...can I start training here with you?"

"What? Why?"

Begu explained, "See, while I do like sparring with Mafin and the others...I kinda wanna broaden my plate a little. Expand my horizons. Seek out other new fighting styles and mast-"

"Cut the crap.", interrupted an unimpressed Shannon, "You just wanna hang out with me more, don't you?"

A bashful grin appeared on Begu's face. Shannon smirked in a confident manner.

"I mean...y'know...yeah, I do.", said the Octorian as he gleefully shifted his shoulders.

"Hah! I knew it!", exclaimed Shannon.

"But, I do mean it when I say I wanna train with you.", stated Begu as he stood up straight.

Shannon smiled, "Alright. And I'll make sure to train as well. I don't wanna lose my home to those monsters."

Begu nodded, "Agreed."

Suddenly, the two of them heard a loud fart noise. Both Begu and Shannon's eyes widened in response.

"Um...please don't tell me that was you." , said Shannon.

Begu replied, "No, that was not me."

"Ah, crap! Darn it, stomach!", exclaimed a new voice.

Shannon's eyes darted around the room, and stopped upon seeing an odd invisible mass in the upper corner of her room. It looked oddly...human.

The queen, cautious about this unknown being, activated her hand flames.

She shouted, "I FOUND YOU! NOW SHOW YOURSELF!"

The invisible figure landed near the arachnid hybrid. The sound of a button being pressed was heard, and the figure's image came into full view, revealing-

"Kappukeki?!", exclaimed Begu.

"Hey, hey!", happily greeted Kappukeki with a wave, "Sorry for interrupting you."

Shannon (who quickly extinguished her flames) questioned, "Wait, you know this tall, pointy-eared lady?"

Begu said, "Yeah. She's another time traveler who's from a different timeline."

"So, it's like Back to the Future Part II?", asked the queen.

"Um...kinda?", responded an unsure Begu.

"Ah. Okay, then."

"Oh, yeah! Back to the Future!", added Kappukeki, "I love that trilogy!"

Begu turned to face Kappukeki, "Anyways, what the heck are you doing here?"

Kappukeki replied, "I wanted to see what you were really up to. And look what I found! An adorable little scene between you guys!"

Begu nervously smiled, "O-Ok, look! I can explain myself!"

Kappukeki wrapped an arm around the nervous Octorian, "Nah nah nah! It's cool, dude! You're fine with me!"

Begu perked a brow, "I am?"

The heroine nodded, "Remember, almost everything in this timeline happened in mine! Almost like...I'm a time traveler! Oooooh!"

She playfully wiggled her fingers in front of Begu's eyes as she said that last part, causing him to chuckle.

Begu then said, "Sorry, sorry! My mind blanks out at times when I'm incredibly nervous."

Shannon spoke up, "Hey, Kappa lady?"

"Kappukeki.", the heroine corrected.

"Whatever. What's my future like?"

Kappukeki smirked at the queen, "I wouldn't wanna ruin the surprise..."

Shannon angrily folded her arms, and grumbled with disappointment.

Kappukeki sat down on the makeshift couch, "Alright, I know you guys wanna start training, so I won't keep you busy. Go on ahead."

Begu questioned, "Are you sure? Besides the TV and the radio, there's nothing else to do in here. Plus, we might be duking it out for a while."

The heroine waved a dismissive hand at the Octorian, "Nah, it's fine. I can entertain myself."

Begu looked at Shannon, who merely shrugged.

The purple alien thought, " 'Kay, then..."

He then smacked his face in anticipation and exclaimed, "Let's do this!"

Begu hopped onto Shannon's abdomen, and the two of them quickly left the room.

Afterwards, Kappukeki pulled out a pair of earphones from her right pocket. From that same pocket, she also pulled out her Capsule Corp. smartphone. She plugged the cord in, and began scrolling for a song in her music library. The heroine smiled as she came across 'Learn to Crawl' by Black Lab.

Kappukeki pressed play, and placed the phone back in her pocket. After that, she stood up, and started happily dancing. Or rather, a combination of rocking out while dancing. Yeah...weird girl.

Upon arriving back in the main cave, Shannon whistled out to all of her spiders, and they were instantly silenced, "Listen up! Begu and I are gonna start training here! In three years time, there are these two androids that will end up destroying the entire world! DO YOU WANT THAT?!"

All of the spiders fearfully shook their heads no.

Shannon resumed, "Now, we're gonna train in order to fight them and prevent this terrible event from happening! So I don't wanna hear any complaints. Is that clear?"

Each spider looked at one another, and looked back at the queen. They all let out reluctant growls, prompting the queen to shout, "IS THAT CLEAR?!"

All of the spiders immediately shook their heads yes, in a nervous fashion. They all scurried out of the way in order to let the two start their battle.

Shannon sighed and turned back to Begu, "Let's begin."

Begu nodded, and floated back a few feet. He landed and got into his Turtle School stance.

Shannon activated her blue flames and propelled herself towards the Octorian.

Begu smirked, "Showtime."

The two opponents clashed their fists together, and began their match by engaging in a very fast barrage of fisticuffs. Shannon then backflipped and fired several fire balls at Begu, who deflected each of them with ease.

He floated upwards and retaliated by unleashing several small ki blasts down at the arachnid hybrid, and Shannon managed to deflect every single one of them through a quick usage of her flame shield.

Begu flew towards the queen and attacked her with a few rapid fire kicks. She blocked them by guarding her arms close to her face. Shannon then tried headbutting the Octorian, but he instantly dodged the attack, and pulled her into a chokehold.

Begu smirked and said softly, "Now, this seems familiar..."

Shannon rolled her eyes, "Oh, shut it."

She then tried to elbow jab him, but he instantly dodged it, and roundhouse kicked the queen straight in the jaw, sending her to the ground.

Shannon spat out a pint of blood, and smirked at Begu. She charged towards Begu, and Begu proceeded to charge towards her. The two proceeded to engage in another round of fisticuffs.

Finally, an hour later, both opponents were laid out on the ground, panting heavily.

Shannon slowly stood back up, and looked at Begu.

She held out her hand and said, "Good game."

Begu smirked, "Good game."

The two of them shook hands, officially ending the sparring session.

After that, Begu stood up, and grinned, "That was fun!"

Shannon happily said, "Heck yeah, it was!"

She then asked, "So, was that the Turtle School style you were using?"

Begu's eyes widened, "Yeah! How'd you know?"

Shannon replied, "I recognized that style from the 21st World Tournament. Some spikey-haired kid was using it, but I don't remember what his name was..."

Begu deadpanned, "Dude. That kid was Goku."

The queen's eyes widened, "WHAT?! FOR REAL?!"

"Yep!", replied Begu, "Talk about massive coincidence!"

"More like freaky coincidence...", thought Shannon.

Begu then asked, "What about your fighting style?"

Shannon replied, "My style is entirely original."

Begu questioned, "It is?"

Shannon nodded, "Yep. See, I was going to use the styles I wrote down in my notebook, but, y'know..."

She gestured to her spider legs, "Can't do that anymore."

Begu winced, "Right."

The queen continued, "So, I was forced to make a new style that could work well with my spider legs."

Begu placed a hand on his chin, "Huh. That does make sense."

Shannon then said, "I've also wanted to ask you something."

"What's that?"

"Now that Frieza's gone, are there any other emperors out there in the universe?"

"Um...no. It's just Frieza, King Cold...and that's it. From what I know, there's no one else out there."

"So, all the space emperors are gone, then?"

"Yeah."

"YES! THANK GOODNESS!", shouted the queen, who hugged Begu immediately afterwards. She was extremely happy and relived that her initial fears would never come to pass.

Begu smirked, "You do realize we're still being watched, right?"

Shannon opened her eyes, and saw all of her spiders staring at her. They were clearly holding back laughter.

The queen blushed in embarrassment, and shouted, "SH-SHUT UP! I'M HAVING A JUSTIFIABLE MOMENT HERE!"

Begu chuckled, "Just let it go, dude."

Shannon sighed, "You're right."

She quickly released the Octorian.

Begu said, "Welp, better go see how Mafin's doing. Same time tomorrow?"

Shannon questioned, "Wait, you mean in the morning, right?"

Begu grinned, "Eee-yup!"

"Okay, so how do you wanna do this schedule thing?"

"Well, I was thinking just on Tuesdays and Wednesdays."

Shannon raised an eyebrow, "Why just those days?"

Begu nervously rubbed his arm and replied, "I, uh, I don't want anyone else getting suspicious about what I've been doing."

The queen nodded, "Yeah, that's true."

She smirked at the Octorian, "I guess I'll see you tommorow, then. Fistbump?"

Begu smiled, "Fistbump."

The two of them fist bumped one another.

After that, Begu turned towards the dark corridors.

He took a deep breath and shouted, "KAPPUKEKI!"

The heroine teleported directly in front of the Octorian, briefly startling him.

"I'm here!", exclaimed Kappukeki, "Ready to go?"

"Yeah!", said the Octorian with a smile.

He waved one more time to Shannon, who waved back at him.

Begu then held onto Kappukeki's waist once more.

The heroine placed two fingers on her forehead and exclaimed, "Right! Back to Mafin! Allons-y!"

With that said, both heroes instantly teleported out of the cave, and arrived near the entrance of the Son house.
