There were a lot of perks of dating a girl who owned her own tea shop. Kitty Cheshire would know; she had been dating Madeline Hatter for five months. Tonight they were the another romantic meal after the shop had closed. Maddie had lit candles. 'The Spinning Fairies' latest album played on the overhead speakers.

"The Fairies! My favorite band" Kitty said as Maddie pulled a chair out for her.

"But of course" Maddie said, running her fingers through Kitty's hair. "Anything to keep you happy."

Maddie had set the small round table with a plate of cranberry scones and a pot of lemon honey tea. Winter was approaching quickly and snot would run marathons out of Kitty's nose. A cup of tea daily was a good way to combat that.

"Madeline Hatter, you make me feel like a princess" Kitty purred.

Maddie took the seat opposite Kitty. "You are a princess. You're my princess."

Kitty blushed. Maddie was the only person who could make her lose her cool. Kitty cleared her throat and took a scone. "May I pour you tea for you?"

Maddie passed Kitty her cup. "I would love that."

Kitty poured the tea and two sugar cubes.

"You know how I like my tea!" Maddie exclaimed.

"But of course" Kitty echoed, causing Maddie to giggle.

"Oh, Kitty Cheshire, I can't even begin to tell you how happy you've made me these past few month."

"No where near as happy as you've made me."

It was Maddie's turn to blush. "How did I get so lucky?"

"You were you."

Maddie squeezed her hand. "I love you."

"I love you too."
