Your P.O.V.
We are pretty sure the Defense Against the Dark Arts position is cursed. We have a new teacher. Dolores Umbridge. My father isnt very fond of her. Tells me she's a strict woman. Since it was the first day, Draco and I had to sit at our House tables instead of next to each other. Umbridge rambled on for about 10 minutes, and by then, I could see Blaise sleeping on Draco's shoulder. Draco looked quite uncomfortable. He was tense and stared violently at the plate of chicken wings in front of him. I saw Cho talking to Harry yet again. I guess it's okay if she moved on. I still think I'm gonna come home one summer, and Cedric will be there. Telling me the plans he has for us, the adventures and hikes we would go on. Deep down, I still had hope.
Umbridge was like my father said, strict. However he did not mention boring. She didnt teach us anything worth while. We had the class with Griffindor, and we sat next to Hermione, Harry, and Ron. I zoned out, she was never going to capture my attention. But then something Harry said did.
"So according to you, Cedric Diggory dropped dead on his full accord did he?" Harry shot at Umbridge.
My head snapped up.
"Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident." she said coldly.
"It was a murder, and you know it!" I shout at her. "Dont you ever lie about my brother's death!"
"Mrs. Diggory..." she said in a warning voice.
"Voldemort killed him! He was supposed to come out of that field tied with Harry! He was supposed to be celebrating! He was going to come home, and we would be a happy family for once! Voldemort ruined his happy ending. And you only make it worse by lying!"
Umbridge pulled a small piece of parchment out of her handbag. She quickly scribbled a note on it.
"Mr. Potter and Mrs. Diggory. Take this to Professor Mcgonagall." She said handing us the peice.
We walked to Mcgonagall's office in silence.
"I'm sorry about Cedric." Harry said quietly.
"Its fine. Death happens. Not everyone gets a good ending." I say looking at the floor.
We enter her office, and hand her the note.
"Is this true?" she asked.
"What true?" Harry asked.
"You both yelled at Professor Umbridge?"
"Yes." we said.
"You called her a liar?"
"Yes." I said.
"You told her You-know-who is back?"
"Yes." Harry said.
We got detention for the next week. Cant wait.
