Chapter 33
Arizona's P.O.V:
GOD! My body hurts I thought to my as I slowly stretch my screaming muscles. Everything that Callie done to my body last night, when we got back from the concert, was playing in my head. She really knows how to make someone sore. As I pull myself into consciousness, I turn my body and reach over to Callie's side of the bed, but find it empty. What the hell I sat up, pulled the covers off me, to go find my girlfriend, when she's no where to be found, I walk back over to my side of the bed, and see a note on the nightstand.
Went to get us coffee and breakfast. Be back soon.-C
I smiled as I read the note she left. I looked over at the clock that read 7:45. "Why the fuck am I up" Today, were suppose to be heading back to Seattle. This has been an amazing Christmas and to be honest, the best one I've had. While waiting for Callie to return with our food, I decided to start getting stuff pack up for us to leave in a few hours. Our flight takes off at noon, but I'm sure she will want to spend a little more time with her dad before we leave. Moving around the room to gather our stuff, I can't stop wincing due to the pain radiating up and down my legs. After I walked into the bathroom to grab our stuff off the counter, I hear the door to our hotel open. Thank God! Making my way back to the other room, I see Callie making her way to the table to lay our stuff down.
"Oh good, you're up." She says. When she sees me walking funny, a smile starts to form on her face. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." I lied. "I'm hungry, and I definitely need some coffee." Reaching for the cup she had placed on the table, she grabbed my hand to stop me. Leaning in, her lips connect with mine.
"Did you have a great time last night?" She asks, pulling out of our kiss.
"I had the best time. Thank you." I say, connecting our lips again.
"You're welcome beautiful." Giving me one last peck. "Let's eat."
After we ate, Callie helped me finish getting things gathered up for us to leave.
"This should be the last of it." She tells me, handing me our shampoos.
"Perfect." After everything was all packed, we were ready to head out to pick up Noah.
After picking up our son, and spending time with Carlos, we were finally on our way to the airport to head home.
"Thank you so much for my Christmas gift, Callie." I say, as we head to the airport.
"You're welcome. I'm really happy you enjoyed yourself." She smiles.
"I did. It's been the best." and I did. I use to hate the holidays, all because of my parents passing, but since being with Callie and raising Noah, I'm starting to really change my feelings about them. "I'm really looking forward to having more of them with you."
"I'm looking forward to it too." She says to me, reaching over Noah's seat, and placing a kiss on my cheek. The rest of the ride to the airport was quiet. Which was a first. Callie and I always have something to talk about. It was still quiet after we boarded our plane. Tired of the silence between us,I ask her, "Are you ok?" Looking at me with a smile, she replies, "Of Course. Why wouldn't I be?"
"You've been really quiet since we got out of the cab."
"I just have some stuff on my mind is all." She says, turning her attention back to her window. Okay!
"Thank God!" I say, as I enter my house.
"Glad to be home?" Callie asks, laughing at what I said.
"As much fun as I had in Miami, yes, it feels good to be home."
"Same here. But I'm going to go. We want to get together for New Year's?"
"Yeah, I'd like that." I say, leaning in, placing a kiss on those plump lips.
"Awesome. We can get drunk again." She says in a joking manner.
"Yeah..No. Not happening." I say with a laugh. "History will not be repeating itself. We don't need another baby."
"I agree. One is enough right now." She says, agreeing with me. "Well I'll see you New Year's Eve. These next few days are going to be busy, so we may not be able to see each other until then." Giving her another kiss, she walked out the door. Something was definitely on her mind, that was the most interaction we had since we left. Taking Noah into the living room, I lay out a blanket to lay down him down on. Now that he's getting older, he's starting to be more alert and not sleeping as much during the day. We just kick back and relax on the floor, enjoying some Mommy and son time.
Not realizing I had fallen asleep, I woke up to my brother shaking me. Opening my eyes, I noticed Noah wasn't laying next me like he was.
"Where's Noah?" I asked.
"He's in his crib. He fell asleep with you on the floors, so Teddy placed him in his crib to sleep." Sitting up, I rubbed the sleep from my eyes.
"How was your trip?" My brother asks me.
"It was great." I tell him. Standing up from the floor. I moved my way over to the coffee maker to make a pot of coffee with Tim following behind me.
"That's great. I bet you had a blast at the concert." I looked at him confusingly. "Teddy called Callie. She wanted to find out when Noah's last feeding was, she didn't have the heart to wake you."
"Oh. Yeah, the concert was great." I tell him. "Actually, best Christmas I have had."
"Callie told Teddy that you got up on stage with her, and sang."
"Oh, yeah. God that was amazing."
"I bet the sex was amazing afterwards too." He says, wagging his eyebrows.
"Earthshattering!" I tell him with a smile.
*Chapter is a little boring, I apologize. Next one will be better. Anyone have an idea what could be on Callie's mind? New Chapter to come later on*
