Chapter 33

His strength is gone.

Not only that, Bad is barely able to keep up with the constant demand to have a full stomach. His legions are no better either as many of the shadows have come to avoid him now. He understands they are worried he would turn his hunger on to them.

But he won't, he refuses to!

Bad merely keeps himself still and settled, trying not to move or anything of the sort to save energy. Zenko is worried, so is Botan. "Wait, you can help Big Brother!?" he heard Zenko call from the hallway.

Bad was trying to rest, but opened one eye out of curiosity. "Indeed, but I will have to take him from here for a few months. It's a long time I know, but…"

Suddenly, he heard the stamping of feet. Bad barely sat himself up as he saw Zenko drag Death into the room by his hand! "You said you can feed big bro, do it!" she demanded. "He hasn't been able to eat properly for himself for days!"

Death smiled and nodded to her. "I will inform Snek to remain with you. As well as Amai… RIGHT Amai?" Death said as he turned to the other side of the room. Bad was barely able to turn his head but he saw Sweet Mask peering behind the door and nodding fearfully.

"What the hell is going on?" Bad asked weakly.

Death's heart appeared to be breaking before his eyes. "My God, Bad, I am so sorry it came to this… Come, up you get."

"Where the hell are we going to go? I don't have the energy!" Bad protested.

Death then appeared to have remembered something, reaching into his jacket, he took out a small tin and then a pearl like object. "Here, swallow this whole." He insisted.

Bad took the odd pearl and did as he was told. The moment it hit his stomach, he felt it fill! Something was filling him and continued to do so until he was content! "What the hell was that?!" he demanded as his strength began to return.

"Now isn't the time to explain, I want you to come with me. We are going to a feast of the gods and children. I spoke of this to you before, remember? You will be dining with other demi gods like yourself."

"Dining?" Bad whispered as his stomach gargled at the thought of food. "But… I could easily eat the place out. You do know that? Who the hell is hosting it? Are they aware…"

"The hostess knows some what of your situation, however a titan of the earth will have a bounty that can quell your hunger. You will be gone a few months, however the food is divine, god like I dare to say."

"I can vouch for that…"

Bad jumped as Pig God appeared behind him. "Goddamn it, and they say I need a bell!"

Pig God smiled as he came out from behind the couch. "I can attest to the fact that there will be enough food there to feed you. After all, I have never missed one of these and you think they would have trouble making meals for me?" Pig God asked. "Come along Bad, we can get you there and you can eat without worry."

He paused to the notion as he looked to Zenko. She gave a proud nod to Bad of approval. "The sooner you get enough, the sooner I become an auntie!" she decreed. "You need to go to this Big Brother,"

Bad nodded in agreement. "Botan…"

"I have spoken with him," Pig God explained. "He knows you will be gone a while, and it fine with it… by the way, how did he age so quickly?"

"You think I know?" Bad demanded.

"Fair point," said Death. "Come now, let's not waste another moment!" At the snap of his fingers. Bad found himself transported. He was on his feet yet wore a strange toga and soft parachute like pants!

"Whoa… when the hell…"

"All demis wear the same clothing. Your aura is masked, no one will know your power unless you say so. For the time being, I would refrain from it." Pig God suggested.

Bad nodded in agreement.

"In this world, you also have what is called an item box. You merely think of it and reach to your right." Death explained.

Bad has read enough Mangas to know what that is, he was able to call upon it with ease and found six strange bottles in there. "Whoa. What's this, wine?"

"Nectar of the gods!" Death said proudly. "You are only entitled to six bottles per feast, use them wisely, they can be shared among gods, demis and minions of gods and demis."

"Cool," Bad said as he tucked it back away.

"You going to be okay in there?" Pig God asked.

Bad smirked. "I am already pregnant, what other shenanigans am I going to get into?"

Death smiled as well. "I strongly suggest you be courteous to our hostess's legions, they will be taking care of you. Show respect can go a long way," Death said gently.

Bad merely nodded as his stomach began to moan. He was starting to get hungry already. With that, Death pointed him to the door. "Now, in you go. You are masked, and no one will know you are expecting, if anything… they are just going to assume you are fat,"

Bad sighed then shrugged. "Better than nothing I suppose. I can't use my power here either can I?"

"No, nor should you if you could. There is no power and no legions other than the hostess and if she give permission." Pig God explained.

Bad nodded as he approached a double door. He took a moment to look about where Death had taken him. The halls were covered in white and yellow marble. There was a gold trim that appeared to be holding the marble in place of it all. It was a very fancy palace to say the least!

He stepped before the double doors where they opened automatically to him.

Inside was amazing!

Coming off the halls and hanging from the ceiling was living greenery. There was a nice waterfall feature in the middle of the room. There were about 16 other people there, dressed like him. 'So those are the other demi gods huh?' he thought.

But then he took notice of those tending to them. Creatures of myth and legends were all about. Fairies, pixies, and very human looking ogres to say the least. "Whoa…" he whispered.

The walls were made of marble as well, pristine and polished so well one could see themselves in them!

"Excuse me…" he heard a gentle voice call. To his left he saw a little ball of light, but then it settled to reveal a figure. A young fairy!

"Oh… Hi, sorry, new here."

She paused to his tone for a moment. "Would you like a drink?" she asked.

He was about to say he rather have something to eat, when the ogre struck a gong! The room came to a pause as he announced. "Dinner is served in the dining hall" and left.

"Dinner, already?! Awesome!"

The fairy appeared confused. "Can I direct you?"

"Please!"

Bad watched her wonder off to the far left of the room, there was a set of marble doors that became opened, then a small hallway that led down to the end and into another room. Bad was about to follow her when a hand came on his shoulder.

"Hey, we got a newbie!"

Turning around, he came face to face with a rather large, strong looking guy. He could give tank top master a run for his money to say the least! He had long red hair and a beard to match. "You must not know how things are done, do you? Look here newbie, we are demi GODS" he said and emphasized the last part. "No little bug is going to tell us what to do, when to eat!"

'Asshole' Garou muttered.

Bad brushed off the hand. "Good for you, I'm going to eat!"

But the guy put his hand back on his shoulder. "Now, now, you got to introduce yourself first!"

Bad got more aggressive. "Touch me again, and I break your arm! I'm hungry!"

The guy smiled off the threat. "I can see why someone like you would be excited for food, but you need to understand something…"

"You need to understand I don't give a shit right now. I… am… HUNGRY!" Bad snapped back.

This time, he backed off.

Bad left and went down the hall and saw the fairy wait for him. She was stunned. "Sorry to keep you waiting…"

She shook her head in disbelief. "You actually came when dinner was called… none of the demis listen to us." She explained.

Bad was about to speak until his whole body quivered from a rumbling belly. "Ooo" he moaned painfully. "Sorry, can we skip the conversation please… I got to get something to eat!"

She must have seen the look of urgency on his face. She was quick to usher him into a room. There, Bad saw seventeen large, long tables, filled to the brim with every sort of fruit, vegetables and meats! Along the walls were odd silk tents of all things, but he didn't care, he just wanted to eat!

"So, smorgasbord huh? Are all the tables different?" he asked.

"No, this is your table" she explained. "And all the food on it, is yours to consume"

Bad froze. He has never seen a table this packed before. "Hot damn!" he cheered. He took a seat at the end, but there was already a problem. "I… can't reach the food…" he said sheepishly.

"It's okay, the master said that you can use your power to eat, it won't reveal who you are."

"Thanks…" Bad paused. "If there's anyone on this table, please clear out… I'm about to eat it all!" he called.

He was a little startled as small creatures began to evacuate rather quickly! The fairy did one quick check before nodding her approval.

Bad smiled, he clasped his hands and said aloud. "Thank you for the food!" before opening his mouth, the wisps made it out pass his lips and enveloped everything on the table. With a small slurp it was drawn in. Despite this ability, he could still taste everything that crossed his pallet. Every sweet, savory, salty, succulent morsel was savored as he felt his stomach fill.

'Where the hell are you getting this? MORE' he heard Garou call.

'I don't really want to know how you are eating this…' Bad thought.

The table was empty, every plate clean and bones picked. He sat contently for a moment before his stomach rumbled for more. Bad blushed and said. "Are there seconds?"

The little fairy hovered there, dumbfounded.

"You… ate everything…" she said in disbelief.

Bad paused. "Oh… was that suppose to last a few days or something?"

"EVERYONE, A DEMI ATE EVERYTHING!" She called.

Suddenly, Bad became the center of attention. Fairies and other creatures, even the kitchen staff came out to see for themselves. None could believe it.

"Uh…" Bad was about to speak until the chef did, the ogre he saw earlier the one with very human like features.

"Never has this happened before… for once it didn't go to waste!" he said with nearly a tear in his eyes. But he sighed. "I have to make arrangements, the rest of this will need to be discarded, they will not come to eat it on time…"

"Uh, about that… if that's the case… can I eat it?" Bad asked.

The chef paused. "Excuse me?"

"Well… I wanted seconds if that was possible. If you have to throw this food out soon, I'll eat it. Just stand back when I do."

They all had a look of disbelief on their faces, however he was given the okay by the chef to do so. Bad smiled.

Seventeen tables were his for the taking!
