Ultimatrix Bearer: Seth's in a strange situation, that's for sure, pal. Wait and see what's going on.
Zero: Don't worry, I'll continue, man.
Ryu Otsutsuki: Thanks for it, man. You help a lot to make the story what it is now. You deserve most of the credit yourself, brother.
Wolfking0811: Don't worry. There's not gonna be a speedster elemental Venom in this story, and yeah, it'd be pretty ridiculous. But he will get something else…
Kara-X: Like I told Wolfking0811, Seth's gonna get something else. And I sorta already have an idea/ ideas for the next story.
Starpottergeek: Thanks for it, man. Hope you get more interesting names and ideas soon, and will love to hear them, of course.

Chapter 29: Escape from Earth-2
"What is going on?!"
Remaining true to herself, Felicity Smoak of Earth-2 screamed as she kept smashing down the keys on her keyboard. She was in a frenzy, and she couldn't find a better mood to be in than this one. Even if her computer itself began to complain.
The entire city was in a frenzy as Zoom kept running and running throughout Central City and dropping off photos of Harrison Wells with certain demands carved into them.
"BRING ME WELLS"
She didn't understand why the evil speedster demanded to see in the infamous founder of S.T.A.R. Labs who's been gone for nearly four months. Felicity bit her lip in thought, bringing up the muted news report from Channel 52, showing up images of buildings burnt with the same demands as the photos Zoom's been dropping off.
"What the heck is going on…" She asked herself in a mutter. Snapping around, she faced her wall with different screens showing live footage from various cameras in the city. "Harrison Wells, what have you done now?"
"Boss!" Marcus called out when storming into the office. "You've seen what's going on?"
"Zoom declaring Harrison Wells a wanted man? Yeah, I saw that." Felicity nodded frantically with a gesture to the screens before her.
"Should we go out there?" Marcus asked in concern for the different citizens who might be in Zoom's path. "Me and Tony will be out there in a heartbeat."
"And you'll die at the second one." Felicity countered. "You can't go out there, Zoom would kill you before you even move a muscle."
Marcus walked closer to the technopath. "We can't just sit here and do nothing."
"You and Tony can't do anything right now, not against Zoom. He'd kill you." Felicity ordered. "Trust me, this sucks, I know that. But we're not doing nothing, I promise you that."
"What'd you mean?" Marcus wondered.
"Kendra's out there now, flying over the city and when Zoom or something else happens, she's gonna intervene and help them." Felicity explained.
Marcus shook his head. "Doesn't assure me that much, boss." He notified. "She can't do much better against Zoom, you know."
"Thankfully, she has the aerial advantage, so she can do better." Eye Sight told him. "It's not much, but she can make use of it somehow. I know she can."
"Doesn't help me that much either." Marcus is five seconds from just storming out into the streets and fight Zoom.
"Then maybe this will." Felicity turned around and placed both hands on her wall. Starting up a conversation with the screens she brought up videos from earlier tonight. "Check these out." She removed her hands.
Both looking at the screens and widened their eyes when seeing shaky footage from a slightly open door, pointing into a warehouse-like area. "What is that?" Marcus asked.
"It's a video from a snitch of mine on the street, he filmed what happened inside of a warehouse which a detective asked for." Felicity explained.
Marcus narrowed his eyes. "You mean, Tony's old crush Iris?"
"Yup. Watch." She pointed to the screens.
They turned back to the video, seeing Iris, Floyd and another man with a familiar face similar to Reverb's. The group of three soon came face to face with Killer Frost and Deathstorm. The group lowered their weapons to the ground. The words they exchanged were inaudible for them to hear due to the distance.
Then, slowly stepping out of the shadows, Reverb himself appeared and spoke with the man with a face similar to his own.
"Why they have the same face?" Shakedown asked.
"One guess: The cheery guy's Reverb's doppelganger." Felicity suggested, pointing to the doppelganger speaking to Reverb and pointing his suit.
"Messed up place our city's turned into now." Marcus admitted. "Spoke too soon." He confessed when suddenly a flying knight in white armor appeared and kicked Reverb into a wall whilst a speedster in red with yellow lightning smashed into Killer Frost and Deathstorm.
"Another Flash… These guys must be from the other world that the Singularity opened up to." Felicity realized as a fight broke out.
As fiery metahuman fired off fireballs against the knight and the speedster fought Reverb, Marcus stated. "The same one Seth's from?"
"Who knows…It's a possibility, at least." Felicity muttered enthralled as she saw Reverb and Deathstorm turn their attacks to the speedster. "Oh shit!" She shouted when Zoom appeared, piercing his claws into Deathstorm's body.
For the first time since the video started, the only sound able to make it through is the sound of Killer Frost screaming when seeing her boyfriend fall to the ground. Zoom then killed Reverb in an instant.
Felicity's hair turned orange when she saw Zoom wrap his claws around Killer Frost's throat and lift her up. "Caitlin!" She screamed.
"Boss, remember it's a video." Marcus assured her as the video showed Zoom letting go of Killer Frost.
"Thank goodness." She sighed in relief but then saw Zoom use The Flash as a shield to take on the knight's energy attacks. "Oh!" She gasped then watched as the evil speedster ran off with the red speedster. "So… there's another new Flash in here now?"
"Some crazy stuff in here." Marcus admitted. "So what? We just let Kendra handle this shit now?"
"For now, she's the best option we got now since Seth's gone and Mera's in Atlantis." Felicity turned around, facing the quaking metahuman. "I want to help the people in trouble right now. Go out with Tony and Kyle, take care of the fires and help out those who's in trouble. I'll stay behind and direct you guys to all the trouble to clean up and make sure you're away from the cops. But please, please… be careful, alright? I don't… I don't want to lose my friends. Not again."
"I promise that won't happen, boss." Marcus said. "We all got reasons for coming back, and we're gonna fight tooth and nail for it no matter what." He cracked his fists. "Zoom's not gonna stop us, fast or not." He finalized before going to the exit.
"Careful, guys. Our city needs us." Felicity retook her seat, slamming her fingers down on the keyboard before getting back to work.
X
Alleyways are usually empty, even in a vast city like Central City. Darkness is the only thing covering it and bathing the empty alleyway. It was a familiar alleyway, a very large hole in a trashcan showed itself. Containers filled to the brim with empty bottles, some of them falling out of it and shattering upon impact with the ground. Other bottles fell to the ground but didn't shatter, much sturdier than the others.
The walls on adjacent buildings had deep holes in them from claws that dug into them. Ground broken and battered with fist-sized holes; debris spread over the area. Dust clouds still travelling around in the air from the recent fight.
On any other day, this place would merely serve as another dump.
But tonight, it was something else entirely when orb of lightning appeared with the sound of a lightning strike in the middle of the alleyway.
The lightning strike intensified around the orb, growing more violent and crackling even more so. Lightning split into multiple crackling lightning surges with differently-colored lightning. With a thunderous pulse, the orb grew bigger and bigger.
With each growing pulse, the orb quickly formed and turned into a thunderstorm portal.
Lightning formed a ring in the portal, the ring converging into the middle of the portal. Another pulse of thunder-like energy, and like a harpoon, a huge multi-colored crystal sword shot out and pierced into the ground. Surges of lightning came over the blade and the handle, the eyes of the demon mouth-like hilt glowing crimson red.
Another thunder-like pulse emitted from the portal, making the portal widen to new limits.
Stepping out with one foot in front of the other, Seth Fury slowly came out of the portal. He craned his neck, flexing his fingers, rolling his shoulders, stretching his back and legs, and finally, took in a deep intake of air. "Feels like an eternity since I felt air on my skin again." He admitted with a groan.
Seth cracked his hands, smiling happily at the feeling of his bones cracking. "Venom, you there now?"
Hearing a loud yawn in the back of his head, he heard. "Yeah, we are." The host could even hear his partner mentally lick his teeth with a swipe of his serpentine tongue.
"You know the situation?" He asked as he made his way to his sword.
"We do." Venom mentally nodded.
"Then you know what that means…." Seth reached his sword. Wrapping his right hand around the handle, the surging lightning on the sword increased tenfold and gained different colors once more. Pulling it out of the ground, he looked at the blowing eyes of the hilt. "Time to work."
"Time to work." Venom smirked, repeating his host's words. "What the heck's going on there?"
"What?" He asked out loud. Mentally feeling his "other" turn his eyes upwards, he followed the same direction and saw a tall building in the far with burning letters on the side of it.
"BRING ME WELLS"
"Wells… Harrison Wells." He pieced it together. "What has he done to piss off Zoom?" Placing the sword on his back, tendrils wrapped around it like a scaffold. "Let's go!" His clothes shifted and turned black before expanding and covering his entire form. Small bone-like spikes popped out of his chest, bending forward and embedding into the front of his torso.
The symbiotic mass engulfed his head, the white skull-like extension erupting out of his face, covering his head. White eyes on his head quickly sparked with lightning and turned magma-red. Black symbiotic mass on his back pulsates. Spikes shot out of his back before shooting out like snakes, displaying their spine-like forms before spiraling around her arms and forearms.
Coming all the way down to his hands. Their sharp ends growing sharper before piercing into the back of his hands, embedding themselves into them.
"Let's go!" Seth and Venom announced in unison before latching onto a wall. A tendril shoots out the back of his hand, connecting to a building before jumping off the wall and swinging to it. Lashing out his other arm, another tendril came out of his hand and he swung through the city.
He just got out of a mess, now he's found himself in another mess.
Life never gets easy, does it?
X
(S.T.A.R. Labs, Wells' office)
Harry couldn't believe his eyes as he watched the news on his screen.
"CCPN is reporting that Dr. Harrison Wells, the infamous founder of S.T.A.R. Labs who uncharacteristically has gone unseen for nearly four months is now a wanted man." The reporter said. The footage showed a building with the blazing lit letters that are spread all over the city. "These images and messages went up moments ago throughout Central City by Zoom."
Harry turned off the screen with a press of a button on the remote.
Henry and Meena rushed into their boss' office.
"Have you seen Channel 52?" Henry asked Harrison.
When Harry didn't reply, Meena said. "Dr. Wells, you know what's going on, right? You're not safe here. Zoom's looking for you."
"And he's not gonna stop looking." Henry added.
Hearing both his employees' concern, Harrison said. "I know what he's doing. Alert security. Evacuate S.T.A.R. Labs. Lock down the facility." He threw the remote away so he could take hold of his energy rifle.
"What about you, Dr. Wells?" Meena asked him worriedly.
Harry shook his head in an attempt to assure them. "Don't worry about me, you two. Just get everyone out of here now." He saw neither of them moving and demanded. "Now! Go!" Reluctantly, they rushed out of the office to follow out Harrison's orders.
Sighing heavily, he cocked his energy weapon. He didn't know when Zoom would make his way into the facility and come for his head. And he had to ready to fire… at a moment's notice…
"Harry!"
Snapping around, Harry pointed his rifle at the back entrance that opened up. Cisco slammed his back against the wall, holding up his hands. "Don't shoot!"
Once again, he sighed, lowering his rifle and said. "Damn it, Ramon." Harry let out in anger. Cisco exhaled in relief and walked to him with a suitcase in hand. Looking around him, Harrison asked. "Where's Allen and Stark?"
Placing the case on the table, Cisco announced. "Zoom took Barry and Matt's trying to find him."
"What?" Harrison let out.
Cisco elaborated. "We tracked down Deathstorm and Killer Frost, met my doppelganger, Reverb, super evil guy, super evil powers. The three of them almost took down Matt and Barry until Zoom showed up, killed Cisco-2, killed Deathstorm for hurting a speedster. But then he left Killer Frost alive, used Barry as a meat shield to block Matt's attacks and then took off with Barry. Matt followed them after a moment of confusion."
Harry stepped closer to him. "How are you still alive? You and Stark should have been dead by now."
Shrugging, the engineer answered. "Looks like he cares even less about me than you do, Harry. With Matt, Zoom's faster and probably doesn't care about a mutant in a suit of armor, advanced weapons or not."
"No, no." Harry dejected. "Zoom doesn't do anything by accident." He took off his rifle before looking at his smart tablet on his table. "Did he follow you here?"
Cisco was insulted by that inquiry. "I've seen "Heat" like 50 times, okay? I know how to shake a tail. He didn't follow me." As he spoke, he pulled out something from his bag. "But check this out. I jacked these from my dead ringer." He pulled out his doppelganger's Reverb goggles. "I think we can tweak these puppies, use them to find Zoom."
"Damn it, Ramon-" Harry snatched the goggles from his hands. "We don't have time for this. Stark might be able to hold him off, but only for a bit, and regardless of that, Zoom is hunting us. Zoom is hunting us!" He shouted in Cisco's face. "We need to make an alternate plan, because if we don't, Zoom-"
"Stop thinking like that, okay?!" Cisco interrupted him, taking back the goggles of his dead doppelganger. "We're gonna find Jesse, we're gonna find Barry, and we're gonna find Seth. I know we will." He determinedly told him as he pulled off his bag.
He didn't want Harry to think that his daughter's life will be snuffed out like a flame by Zoom himself. They will find Jesse and Barry, and they will find Seth and return to Earth-1 in one piece. They will get out of this world, with their friends…
… and one of his closest friends will finally be reunited with her loved one.
Cisco was gonna make sure of that. It will happen. With Matt and Harry's help, they'd make it happen.
"Hello?" Cisco and Harry perked their heads up at the sound of the voice coming through the speakers. "Is anyone there?" They both looked to the tablet, showing live footage of Barry-2 in cuffs and chained to a wall.
Barry shouted. "Okay, whoever's responsible for this, oh, ho, ho. Boy, we're gonna have words, the two of us, okay?" Both shared a look. "This is… this is not okay."
Cisco finally recalled. "Barry-2."
"Great." Harry let out a long sigh.
X
Harry and Cisco walked into the area that is used to hold Barry-2. While Harrison Wells was uncuffing him from the heavy steel cabinet, Barry spoke in a disapproving tone.
"Dr. Wells, this is very disappointing." He admitted with a shaking head. Barry-2 got up from the floor, looking between Cisco and Harrison Wells. "I mean, the two you should be ashamed of yourselves." While rubbing his sore wrists from the cuffs, he looked around in the filthy storage room. "You can't just lock someone in a room like this."
Barry gulped at Cisco's face when he took a long and good look at it. "Wait, you're-"
"Oh, don't worry about that, man." Cisco gestured to his face. "Different guy than the one you're used to, promise."
"Alright." Barry nodded his acceptance, unsure of whether or not he could trust someone with the face of one of Zoom's lieutenants. "How long was I in here for?" He directed to Harry.
Shrugging to himself, he replied. "Barely a day." He walked past Barry and Cisco followed.
"One day?" Barry recited before following them. "One day?" He followed them into the other room, which was similar to that of a workshop or even a Cortex. "Oh, jeez, my wife's gonna be worried sick."
Cisco found that unlikely as Barry-1, their Barry spent the day with her.
"Dr. Wells?" Barry asked.
"Yeah." Harry replied.
"Dr. Wells, I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but my wife is a very well-respected detective in the Central City Police Department." Barry stated. "She's got to be very upset."
Cisco exhaled sharply. "Whoa, this is heavy."
Barry agreed with a series of nodding. "It certainly is. And I'm sorry, fellas, but I demand to know what the heck is going on here this instant."
"Barry, this is a very long story." Cisco stated urgently, and Barry-2 scoffed sarcastically. "Which involves a series of questions for you."
"One that we don't have time to tell right now." Harry pitched in before walking closer to the CSI scientist. "We're sorry we locked you in that room for a day, but right now, you need to leave."
"Wait, Harry!" Cisco jumped in.
"What, Ramon?" Harry asked groggily.
"Please." Cisco asked. "We have to find Seth."
Alarms ran in his mind, blaring loudly like an ambulance siren. Barry snapped his eyes to him. "How'd you know Seth?"
"He's my friend, we're trying to find him." Cisco explained.
At that very question Barry looked at him. His eyes looking him up and down for a very long moment before returning to his face. "Forgive me for saying this, but I highly doubt that."
"Why?" Cisco asked confused.
Surprisingly, Barry pointed a finger to his head. His finger circling around it, he said. "Your face."
Harry couldn't stop chuckling at that remark while Cisco's face fell.
But that stopped the very instant the alarms made themselves known when they blared loudly. Harry turned to the nearest screen seeing the notification on it.
"PROXIMITY ALERT: META DETECTED"
"He's here… Zoom's here." Harry huffed.
X
In the display area, Henry finished initiating the lockdown sequence with his wife beside him.
Meena looked around in worry. "Honey, you got to hurry. The alarms sounded before-"
"I know." Henry interrupted her. "Zoom's here."
WHOOSH
Both scientists felt the alarming gust of air hitting their faces like a slap, making them slowly turn their heads to the evil speedster.
As he stepped closer and closer to them, his form brimming and oozing blue lightning like liquid, four security guards moved closer to him from behind.
"Do not move!" One of them demanded as he and the others had their firearms pointed at him.
Zoom slowly turned his head, pointing it at one of them. He turned his eyes forward again, looking to the married scientists. His eyes narrowed at their intertwined, forming a smile of intrigue.
Then he thought back to the guards behind him.
WHOOSH
Disappearing in a flash, he slammed into the four security guards behind him, throwing them into the air and snapping their necks with mere swipes of his claws. They fell to the ground…
And Zoom wrapped his hand around Meena's throat, pinning her to the wall after pushing Henry to the ground.
"No!" Henry shouted.
Meena tried to pry the speedster's hand away, but to no success. "P-please!" She begged.
Her or husband's pleads didn't reach Zoom's ears. "Where are Wells and his friends?" He demanded to know.
"We don't know! Please let her go!" Henry begged.
Zoom drifted an eye to him. "You know…" He raised his claws, cloaking them with blue lightning. "… Tell me now, or your wife dies."
"Please!" Meena begged with wet eyes.
"Get away from them!"
Zoom barely managed to turn his eyes to the voice before Iron Knight slammed a large hexagonal energy mallet into his fist and knocked him off Meena, who fell to the ground with her throat devoid of the black claws. Henry rushed to his wife's side.
As Zoom landed on the ground a few feet from them, Matt turned to the married scientists. "You two okay?"
Henry hugged his wife tightly. "Thank you." He expressed.
Nodding he said. "Get out of here, I'll hold him off." They nodded before running away. Iron Knight faced the evil speedster who returned to his feet. "Funny how speedsters always manage to get up on their feet despite the fact they always run away."
"Funny who knights think they need wings when they should just die on the ground." Zoom growled.
Reforming the energy hammer on his right arm into a cannon while his other arm formed a semicircular blade, each weapon pulsating with repulsor energy. "I'm gonna finish you off and go home with my friend."
"Venom failed many times… you will fail just as many." Zoom growled before speeding forward.
Matt inhaled sharply. "Jarvis, counting on you!"
"Yes, sir. Leave it to me." While it was slightly blurry due to the speed, the AI managed to pick up on Zoom moving. Bluish scopes appeared in his HUD, spiraling around on the evil speedster's right hand that is raised into the air.
"Time to kick some ass!"
Aiming for his stomach, Matt raised his right arm and fired a concentrated repulsor blast at Zoom. The speedster was hit by the energy blast and sent rolling on the ground. Iron Knight jumped into the air, flying high up. The wings on his back flared, propelling him downwards with his energy blade and aims for the speedster.
Zoom saw the attack and phased through the floor. Iron Knight's blade thrusted into the ground, making a hole with debris flying all around the crack.
Seeing that his blade only connected with the ground, quickly dislodging his blade, Matt quickly jumped backwards in a flip with his back thrusters accelerating his jump. Landing on the ground, he de both weapons to his hands and pointed his repulsors around him.
"Where are you, Zoom?" Matt asked. "Come on out, you coward!"
"Matt?!"
Matt placed his hand over his left side when registering that screeching question from Cisco. "Cisco, I'm a bit busy right now."
"Wells' got a time vault like Thawne." Cisco stated. "His panic room."
"Must be a doppelganger-like thing or some-"
Using that moment of distraction, Zoom slammed into Iron Knight, pinning him to the ground with a foot on his chest. Lightning circled around the claws on his right hand which he raised high into the air. "And the knight… falls!"
He drove his claws down to pierce his chest.
"AAARRRGGGHHH!" Zoom screamed when he felt a stinging and blazing pain erupt through his hand when trying to pierce the mutant's chest.
"Got ya!" Matt quipped, the energy in his arc reactor increasing, shining brightly. "Say cheese!" An unibeam shot out of his chest, hitting the speedster's chest and sending flying into the air. Iron Knight got up on his feet. "Thank Wells for that one, little something he made especially for you."
"He already gave me something good." Zoom growled, his form continuously emanating azure-blue lightning. "He gave me speed!"
Iron Knight twisted his neck. "That was me, dumbass! Left you a little something, huh?"
Zoom narrowed his eyes with murder. "You made me sick!"
"Take a look in the mirror lately, pal? Pretty sure your old lady crossed that checkbox for you when you were born." Matt sniped, leaning down and formed micro missiles on his back. Locking onto the speedster with his HUD, he fired the missiles for him.
They came for in slow motion and Zoom ran all over the display museum, dodging the missiles. The missiles connected with various display items, exploding and sending their burnt pieces high in the air before falling to the ground again.
Zoom spun around, coming to a stop and faced the nanite mutant. "I will find Wells!"
"Over my dead body." Matt countered, thrusting out both hands and firing repulsor blasts. Zoom dodged them before charging for the armored mutant.
Slamming his left foot to the ground, he formed a clamp and locking him to the ground. His HUD locked onto the speedster again. When coming close, Iron Knight wrapped his hands around Zoom's head and his thrusters flared, spinning him around.
The momentum increasing tenfold before he hurled the evil speedster into the air and towards the entrance door. Matt watched as Zoom's body smashed through the doors. "You ain't getting away!" He shouted but stopped to see the damage behind him. "Just gonna blame that on Zoom." He reasoned before flying after him.

(Woodlands)
The water on the lake surface rippled but only for s split second before a cold white mist came over the water and froze it solid in an instant.
Killer Frost tried to wipe away her wet tears, but they were already frozen solid and fell off the sides of her face, shattering when meeting the cold frozen grass strands. Around her the grass was frozen. the sand turned completely white.
She could feel her eyes expel wet tears… but she could even feel them harden from her body temperature and sticking to the sides of her face.
Closing her eyes… it was a mistake.
Because she saw the reason for all the tears she's been expelling, the sight of her boyfriend penetrated by Zoom's pitch-black claws. She was forced to watch him be killed by the madman she and him swore their allegiance to.
Ronnie didn't oblige to Zoom's orders… and he paid dearly for it… but right now…
Caitlin felt like she was the one who lost everything despite her boyfriend losing his life.
"Ronnie…" Caitlin muttered with more frozen tears trailing down the sides of her face. She wanted to wipe them away, but instead she released more cold air, freezing the surrounding sand, grass and water near her.
"Want to talk?"
Killer Frost snapped her head to the voice and saw Seth slowly walking towards her. The icy metahuman got up on her feet, flexing her fingers and forming ice blades. "What do you want? Keep your promise and finally kill me?"
Shrugging his shoulders, Seth said. "Meh, some promises don't have to be fulfilled, like that one."
"Oh yeah." She tried to be tough. "Or maybe you're not as tough as you thought, Venom."
"Or maybe I don't to hurt someone crying, especially when they have the face of the woman I love." He argued truthfully as he stepped closer to her.
"Right, because of my face alone." Killer Frost chuckled hollowly. "That's the only reason why you won't fight me."
"I know what happened." Seth stated, making her stop in her tracks. "I know Zoom… killed Ronnie."
"How?" Caitlin asked.
Walking closer to her side, he took a seat on the cold ground. "Damn, cold!" He hissed when feeling the cold grass strands connect with his rear. "You should definitely not handle seating arrangements, not your strong suit."
"Well sorry for that." Killer mockingly said, flexing her fingers she released the ice blades and let them fall to the ground. "How'd you know about Ronnie's death? Last I heard you disappeared, maybe went back to your own world."
"That was the plan, but things changed… I guess. I heard about Ronnie… from someone." He sheepishly answered. "I'm sorry about your loss."
Caitlin sighed, taking a seat beside the elemental. "Thanks… but why'd you come? We're not exactly friends, are we?"
"Well, you kissed me twice, saved me from a metahuman mad circus and you've given me viable information." Seth listed. "Maybe, we're past the friend stage and we're around the-"
"Friends with benefits?" Killer Frost smirked with a flirty smile.
Seth chuckled. "Not what I was going to say, but… it's not wrong, I guess." He wrapped an arm around her, surprising himself and the icy metahuman. "I'm sorry for it."
"…Thanks…" Killer Frost smiled, placing her head against his shoulder. She nuzzled his shoulder. "Know we're enemies, you need to find Wells' kid, but…."
"I'll stay for a hot second, I promise." Seth nodded. "For now, Cait."
"That's good enough for me…" Killer Frost closed her eyes, tears slithering out of the slits and soaking the mutant's shoulder. "Thanks…" She said again in a caring tone.
It felt nice that Seth was able to comfort this world's Caitlin Snow too.
But every cell in his body hated that this happened to her, and he wasn't there to prevent it.

(Zoom's Lair)
Barry had to use every single piece of CSI knowledge in his toolkit to search for a way out. While he did feel the eyes of Jesse Wells and the iron masked prisoner, he didn't stop examining each and every inch of the cell with the glass-like cell door.
Whilst examining his cell, the speedster's eyes drifted upwards to meet the single eye of the man in the mangled tuxedo in the cell adjacent to the masked prisoner's cell. Barry shook his head; he wasn't used to a one-eyed man watching his every move like now.
He returned to his examination.
Jesse sighed. "You're wasting your time." Barry and Nathan Bliss turned their eyes to him, the latter doing the best he could with his singular eye. "I used to think I could escape too when I first got here, also after a friend helped me out. But Zoom wasn't a fan of that last one… He improved the situation here, I guess. There's no way out."
As they spoke, the masked prisoner continued to tap his cell door repeatedly, stopping sometimes before continuing again.
Nathan looked to him. "My dear Mr. Mask, would you please stop that constant tapping? It's grown to become quite tedious after weeks of hearing it." The masked prisoner gave him a look before resuming his tapping. "You, my good sir, are an abomination."
Barry looked between them, turning his eyes to Jesse. "Who are those guys?"
"The masked guy, I have no idea who he is. He's been here since Zoom brought me to this place. The other one is Nathan Bliss, Mr. Bliss, a meta who worked under Zoom." Jesse looked to Barry. "He was defeated by Venom, which is why he's here."
"Sounds like Seth had his fun here." Barry chuckled.
"If I may intrude?" Nathan got their attention. "This, Mr. Seth, is the man behind Mr. Venom's face?"
"Yup." Jesse answered.
"Wonderful." Mr. Bliss admitted at the real name of the man behind Venom's mask.
Jesse chuckled, but then quickly sighed in annoyance when the masked prisoner kept tapping in a strange rhythm. "Stop, okay?" She asked of the other prisoner. "Just… just please stop!"
Barry looked to her. "Jesse, I think he might be trying to help us."
"Nothing is gonna help us." Jesse countered.
"That's not true." Barry countered. "We're gonna get out of here. You got out of here yourself, remember?"
"One-time thing." Jesse argued. "Doesn't happen twice. I got help the first time around."
"There's gonna be a second time. Your dad's gonna find us, I promise." Barry told her.
Jesse's disbelief showed itself on her face. "You sure have a lot of faith in a man who only cares about himself."
Barry couldn't help but chuckle at her words. "You know, I actually thought that at first too." He confessed, getting her attention but her eyes rolled in disbelief still. "It's not true. Every decision he's made… Every action he's taken since we've met has been to save you. Your dad hasn't given up on you, Jesse. Don't give up on him."
WHOOSH
The very moment he finished his sentence, Jesse wasn't allowed to let the words sink in or think about them, as Zoom appeared before Jesse's cell. Peering into the cell, the pitch-black speedster stated. "Believe what you want, but the only reason that you're still alive is so I can kill you in front of your father."
Jesse whimpered.
"And the only reason your father's still alive…" He faced the Scarlet Speedster of Earth-1. "Is to get me your speed without Iron Knight interfering." Barry looked defiant. "And once Wells has done that… He will die too. Along with anyone who have stood before me…"
The speedsters gave each other narrowed eyed looks…
X
(Earth-1, S.T.A.R. Labs)
Caitlin and Olivia stood in the Cortex, watching the large monitor before them display news footage of what happened following Geomancer's attack.
"Up after the break, the earthquake-causing metahuman leaves citizens shaken and wondering, where is The Flash? But some of their worries and questions have been put to ease, little by little, as the three new young defenders, Magenta, Destroyer and Eclipse have moved through the city and helping out in any way they can."
As the reporter spoke, it showed footage of Magenta using her tendrils to lift up fallen pillars whilst using her magnekinetic powers to hold up large metal constructs. Destroyer was seen carrying two bruised young children on her back, crouching down and letting them off. Eclipse appeared in a smoke of shadows, dropping off an old man for a nearby paramedic with an ambulance.
"They're doing really well." Caitlin smiled, proud of her daughters hard at work and keeping everyone safe. "Can't believe they've been working through the entire night."
"They need to get back again soon." Olivia stated.
Caitlin nodded her agreement. "Yeah, they're gonna wear themselves out otherwise."
"I should be out there!" Olivia growled, clenching her hands and releasing psychic energy around her fists. "I'm staying behind… and my nieces are doing all the hard work! I hate it!" She slammed her fists into a nearby table, embedding them into it.
"Calm down, Baby Mama." Caitlin walked to her side, stroking her back in an effort to calm her down. Olivia's psychic energy dissipated, she inhaled and exhaled a few times. "You have to be calm; you have to rest; you have to be there-"
"For my kid, I know." Olivia finished her sentence. "But it doesn't make it easier."
"Look at the bright side: Your kid's gonna grow up well and is definitely gonna be depending on their Aunt Caity when their mom gets angry." Caitlin smiled.
Olivia chuckled at her words. "Oh yeah, Aunt Caity's gonna be busy when this goober pops out." She rubbed her stomach for empathize. "God, it's gonna be so weird when this one finally comes out."
"You can have my kids be babysitters, don't worry." Caitlin assured her.
"Thanks, but no pay of course." The mutant winked.
"It's finished." The women turned to the side, seeing Jay walk into the Cortex. "Breach stabilized again. Barry, Matt, Cisco and Wells have 20 hours to get back."
"Nice job, Garrick." Olivia praised him
"You're amazing." Caitlin praised him too.
Jay looked skeptic. "When it comes to stabilizing breaches, maybe…" He turned to the news footage. "Not so much when it comes to fighting metahumans."
"You were a little rusty." Caitlin tried to comfort him. "Everyone has those days, even Liv here."
"Hey!" Olivia elbowed her arm. "I just got back from my honeymoon; I'm allowed to be a bit lazy."
"I wasn't lazy, I was too slow." Jay stated. "Geomancer's still out there, guys. He has to be stopped. I have to be ready in case he attacks again."
"Maybe not, the girls are doing pretty well out there right now." Olivia nodded to the screen.
"I know, but… with Velocity I can be a speedster again, be faster again." Jay looked to the doctor. "How long till Velocity…"
"8." Caitlin clarified before walking to a computer.
"Velocity-8 is ready?" Olivia asked with a raised eyebrow.
Caitlin explained. "I need to finalize the compound, make sure the extracellular matrix stays intact so you don't lose your speed as fast." She directed to the powerless speedster.
"Okay, great." Jay said.
Olivia narrowed her eyes at the doctor's face, analyzing every detail of it and every tic she could find. "Caity." She got the native's attention as she tapped the side of her head. "This thing might be taking a vacation, but I can see something's going on with you. What is it?"
Inhaling deeply, Caitlin looked to Jay to explain. "After your last encounter with Geomancer, I ran some tests." She brought up the tests. "The Velocity-7 is reacting with the damaged cells in your body. It's causing more cellular degeneration."
"Pretty sure this was to be expected." Olivia muttered under her breath.
Jay twisted his head around. "Well, I have faith that the next batch won't do the same thing."
Caitlin shook her head. "Jay, I can't keep giving this to you if it's hurting you."
"Caitlin, I have to. It'll help your daughters, it'll help me defeat Geomancer, so you might have to." Jay countered.
"You can't be serious." Olivia stated her disbelief.
"Till Barry gets back, I might be the only chance this city has." Jay stated. "With Velocity, I can become a speedster again, and the girls… I can help them out there."
Pointing to the screen, Caitlin said. "Think they're doing well."
"Why does it look like Ruby and Frankie are arguing?" Olivia looked to the screen, with the others following her gaze.
They saw Destroyer take out her Chakram blade and Magenta forming a spiked mace before getting in each other's faces.
"Yeah, they're about to fight!" Caitlin rushed to the main console to reprimand her daughters.

(Earth-2, CCPD)
DING
The elevators opened up with a chime and Iris walked into the lobby area of her workplace. She had just gotten back from the hospital, she checked on both her father and Floyd. Her father's condition was slowly getting better, her partner's body was bruised and hurting from Reverb's vibrational attack, but nothing was broken thankfully.
Both had to stay hospitalized for a few more days just to be sure.
Iris saw Deathstorm die before her eyes, but she didn't feel at ease at all. Zoom is still at large and has his army of evil metahumans, ready to fight his enemies at the snap of his fingers.
"Iris. Hey, Iris."
The detective looked to the staircase to the right side and saw her husband sprinting down the stairs. "Barry, where were you last night?" She asked him when he came down to her.
"Oh, my God." Earth-2 Barry said.
Iris couldn't hide her anger. "My father almost died yesterday, my partner's in the hospital, and you never even came home. I was worried out of my mind!" She exclaimed.
His expression softened. "I know, I know. I heard. I'm so, so sorry." He went to hug her.
"You- You heard?" Iris stopped him, pushing his arms away. "You were there, Barry."
"I actually was not there." Barry told her. He saw her shake her head in disbelief like he was talking nonsense. "I'm-I'm gonna… Yeah, okay." He looked upwards to the upper floor. "Okay, look. Come to my lab. Just come up to my lab. I'm gonna explain everything, okay?" He took her hand. "I'm gonna explain it."
Iris let herself be pulled up the stairs by her husband.
They reached the entrance to the CSI lab. Barry looked around in case of anyone else nearby before presenting her ID card to scanner. The device chimed, showing a green color of approval when registering the employee card.
"You're gonna lose your mind, Iris." The CSI scientist said as the doors opened up.
"Sure I am." Iris said sarcastically. The moment the doors fully opened up, she really did lose her mind when she registered the forms of Dr. Harrison Wells and the two engineers, Matt and Cisco, from yesterday.
"Hi, Detective." Cisco waved his hand. Swiftly, Iris pulled out her firearm and cocked it. "Okay, okay, calm down Detective West-Allen!" Cisco jumped behind the nanite mutant.
Matt gave him a strange look. "Seriously? You're really not bringing the best out of people on this Earth, man. Maybe you should have covered your face like that dude in Phantom of The Opera."
"His name is Erik and it's not my fault I have an evil double." Cisco complained.
The nanite mutant chuckled. He really had to ask Cisco if he had some kind of an index with all of his movies knowledge. It was so much that it was impossible to store it all in his head.
"Detective, calm down." Harrison told her.
"Give me a good reason to." Iris demanded while holding up a gun.
"How about a long one?" Matt quipped.
The next moments were spent on Matt, Cisco, Harrison and Barry explaining everything to the detective.
Iris had to take a seat beside her husband when they finished talking. Much to Cisco's relief, the detective holstered her firearm again. He was not a fan of having a gun pointed at him.
Iris looked to the nanite mutant. "You're that… knight from yesterday?"
"Iron Knight." Matt corrected. "But yeah."
"And this guy," She pointed to Cisco. "is Reverb's doppelganger from… Earth-1?"
"Yup." Cisco nodded.
"Sorry for pointing a gun at you, then." Iris expressed and Cisco nodded his acceptance.
Iris looked to her husband. "So, the Barry from yesterday was not you?"
"No." Harry answered before Barry could.
The CSI scientist agreed. "No, look, I- I know that this is hard to believe, but I mean, it is just like that sci-fi series, "Commander Carl, Space Marshal of the Galaxy," where Carl gets sucked into a black hole and ends up on another planet that he thinks is Earth, but really it's Earth, of another universe." He directed to everyone.
"That sounds oddly enough close to what happened to Seth." Matt admitted. "Think I want to watch that show now."
"Have- Have you guys not s- oh, it's a seminal episode." Barry told them. "You should check it out."
Iris looked to Matt. "And you know Seth?"
"Yeah, we're looking for him." Matt answered. "He's my best friend and brother-in-law, but I can't find him anywhere in this city."
"Think he mentioned a Matt Stark before." Iris recalled. "But how do we know it's the truth?"
"I feel like you're only doubting us because of me." Cisco said, pointing to his face.
"You wouldn't be wrong." Iris bluntly replied. She looked to the mutant again. "Say something about Seth. Before we help you out, we have to be sure we're not just having weirdos hunt our friend."
"Think our friend might just hunt the weirdos." Barry admitted.
Matt chuckled before thinking quickly to himself. "His name's Seth Daniels Fury, he's not a metahuman, he's a mutant with elemental powers. In addition to that, he's the host of a symbiote clone called Venom which is also the name of his alter-ego which he's shown to this city. He's an annoying bastard with a chocolate addiction because of his symbiote, either that or he eats peoples. He has a little sister, my wife, Olivia Heather Fury. After he sent his two new daughters to Earth-1, before Christmas, he now has three daughters. The woman he loves is Caitlin Snow, the doppelganger to the one of this world, Killer Frost."
"For some reason, he has a thing for making scrapbooks, and he's afraid of Goose."
"He's afraid of geese?" Barry asked in shock.
"No, Goose. It's the name of a cat-like alien, a Flerken, which is the species of his dad's pet. Scares the piss out of him and myself for that matter." Matt clarified. "But more importantly, I promised his daughters, his sister, the woman he loves that we'd bring him back. So please… where is Seth?"
"We don't know." Barry revealed.
"Could have led with that before I had to think of all that stuff." Matt complained.
"After a big case that involved Dollmaker, he decided to go home. But he had to find and rescue Jesse and some other prisoner in Zoom's lair. Last I heard, he and Zoom fought in the city. But that's about all we've heard. Zoom ran away and Venom was nowhere to be found." Iris explained.
Thinking quickly, Cisco suggested. "Chances are he might go to Zoom's hideout as well."
"Maybe, yeah. But now all of this makes more sense." Iris looked to her husband, "So that's why you weren't wearing your wedding ring yesterday."
"Well…" Earth-2 Barry struggled to explain that one.
"And-and that-that kiss was… was so…" Iris couldn't find the right word for it.
"I'm sorry." Barry jumped in. "He got frisky with you?" Iris scoffed as a response. "No, no, no, no, no." He chanted his disapproval. "Okay, I'm gonna have to find this guy and give him a piece of my mind."
"Don't give him too much." Harry pitched in.
"Maybe a bit." Matt agreed with a smirk.
Quickly throwing the nanite mutant a dry look, Harry then got back on track. "Your husband tells us you've been tracking Zoom."
Iris nodded. "Yeah, I've been trying to. Why?"
"We need to his lair." Cisco declared.
"Lair?" Harry questioned.
"He's a bad guy; I'm calling it a lair." Cisco argued.
"Zoom is looking for you." Iris pointed out. "And didn't you piss him with your weapons or something?" Matt nodded immediately, uncaring of the fact that he tried to blast holes in the biggest bad guy in the city. "Why are you going after him?"
"Zoom has my daughter, and our Barry, and we need to rescue them both. Unless Fury, Stark's friend, may have gotten to them." Harry informed.
The detective sighed. "Look, I want to find Zoom just as much as anybody, but no one can track him. Seth knows where the lair is, but he didn't say anything about it."
Harry looked to Matt. "Stark, didn't you say your friend Fury gives out energy signals like heat and electricity which can be tracked."
"He does, but I looked everywhere but I didn't get a single ping on my scanner. Either he's out of the city, or maybe he's somewhere under it where my scanners can't pick up his energy." Matt suggested.
A thought came over the detective's mind. "The only person who would know where Zoom would be hiding someone would be a meta that's worked with him."
That thought gave birth to an idea in Cisco's head. "A meta like Killer Frost?"
Iris nodded. "Yeah, maybe. But Zoom kept her alive yesterday because she always obeys him. There is no way that she's gonna tell you where she is."
"I'm not so sure about that." Cisco said.
"What makes you say that Cisco?" Matt inquired.
"Think about it. If she loved Deathstorm as much as our Caitlin loved Ronnie, I think she'd be more than upset at Zoom for killing him." Cisco argued.
"It's a plan at least." Matt admitted.
"Yeah but finding her is a gonna be just as hard as finding Zoom." Iris told them. Their eyes fell to the floor… "But…" They came up again, looking at the detective in anticipation. "If anyone can do it…" she turned in her chair. "My husband can."
Lightly nodding his head, Barry realized what she meant with a startle. "Right, yes." He got up. "I can, actually." He walked over to the computer at the table. "Um, all right." The others walked to his side of the table.
Barry scatted lightly as he tapped the keys on his keyboard, bringing up the past Killer Frost related cases. "Okay, well it looks like Patty Spivot was a CSI tech on most of the Killer Frost cases." He brought up the profile of the icy metahuman. "She's pretty thorough, so…"
"What is all that, Barr?" Matt asked.
Barry glanced at him before explaining with a gesture to the screen. "Oh, this is Killer Frost meta-data collected from numerous crime scenes…DNA trace movements, facial recognition, temperature fluctuations specific to her. My algorithm compiles all the data and gives us an approximate location." He gestured to the screen which showed the algorithm at full work, trying to work up the location of the icy metahuman.
"Does it work on all metahumans?" The nanite mutant wondered.
"Most of them, except for Zoom, of course. He's too fast… never leaves a trace." Barry sheepishly added to his answer. The computer chimed, showing the lines converging to a probable location on the map. "Okay. Looks like the best bet's the woodlands."
"Nice job." Matt praised, his eyes zooming in on the screen and the recent readings it showed.
"Best CSI in Central City." Iris praised.
Cisco looked to Harry. "You know where that is, right?"
"Yeah." Harry nodded.
"Let's go." Cisco moved around the married couple. Harry followed and Matt remained focused on the screen.
"Wait, I'm going with you guys." Iris interjected. "You're gonna need some help." They nodded their approval.
"Iris, I-" Barry got up from his chair.
Iris faced him. "Barry, Zoom and his followers are the reason why both my partner and my father are in the hospital. They could have joined the big pile of people he's already killed. If I can stop him from killing anyone else, keep that pile from growing… I'm gonna try."
Barry could see that there was nothing he could do to extinguish her flame of determination. "Okay, then I'm coming to."
"No/no." Both Harry and Cisco let out at the same time. The viber expected Matt to join in but his eyes looked at the screen still.
Iris had to agree with them. "Barry, this is not what you do." She didn't want her husband to expose himself in an environment he wasn't used to. It could very well end up with him dying.
Barry leant forward. "I know that. But… I also know Joseph doesn't like me too much, but he eased up a bit and actually acted like my father-in-law for once. If you're going, I am coming with you." Iris seemed to accept that plan.
Seeing that on the detective's face, Harry nodded reluctantly. "You can come, but you stay out of our way."
"Matt, what are you doing?" Cisco asked the mutant.
"Seth's in the Woodlands, too." Matt revealed, getting everyone to look at him. "Barry's algorithm picked up other temperature fluctuations of various kinds, similar to the ones that happen around Seth."
"Fury's there?" Matt nodded to Harry's inquiry.
"Let's go now!" Cisco waved them over.
They had to find their friends.

(Earth-1, S.T.A.R. Labs)
"Finally!" Ruby let out her relief in a dramatic exhale as she fell onto the gurney. She pulled her mask off her sweaty face. Wiping away the sweat on her forehead, she let out. "Who knew hero-ing would be so hard."
Evelyn took a seat on the foot of the bed, giving her sister a dry look. "Wouldn't have been so hard if one of us didn't start a fight with our sister in the middle of the road."
"We didn't fight, we were close to fighting." Frankie corrected her.
"And Mom had to step in and tell you both to focus." Evelyn threw in.
Olivia walked into the room, telekinetically judging three cold bottles of water. "Bottoms up, girls!" She called out, sending the bottles to their hands. "You guys did well out there."
"Thanks." Ruby said uncapping the bottle before taking a big gulp.
Frankie twisted her head and rotated her shoulders. "Geomancer really messed up loads of buildings."
"Yeah, no kidding." Olivia admitted, taking a seat on the other gurney. "Sorry I couldn't be out there with you guys, but bright side, you guys learn how to work as a team."
"Mostly." Evelyn said a singsong voice, pointing to her two sisters. Both stuck out their tongues in retaliation.
"Hey." Caitlin walked into the lab with a small vial in her hand, shaking it and spinning it like a centrifuge. "You girls did great out there!" She exclaimed. "Proud of you three for what you did."
"City's not safer despite that, Mom." Ruby said.
"Don't say that, Rubs, it's gonna take time." Caitlin ruffled her hair with her free hand.
"What's that in your hand, Mom?" Frankie asked.
"Something for Jay." Caitlin said, holding the vial up against the light to view its color.
"What's for Jay?" Jay himself asked when coming into the room. Caitlin turned around, holding the vial for him to see. Knowing what it is, he states. "Looks different than before."
"That's because I realized that there was a flaw with Velocity-8, so I reformulated the extracellular matrix, and…"
Olivia heard her explanation and finished off. "Velocity-9." Caitlin nodded.
"Wowza, she does not look happy about that." Magenta let out in shock.
"What do you mean?" Frankie asked her "other."
"Something about does not seem totally onboard, you know." The symbiote explained. "Don't know why though." Frankie would remember that for later use.
Caitlin looked hopeful between the powerless speedster and the psychic. "You know what they say, ninth time's the charm."
"Hey." Iris got their attention when walking into the Cortex.
Olivia faced the reporter. "What's wrong with you, Iris?"
"I'm good, I'm just worried about the time." Iris explained.
"Well don't worry." Jay told her. "They'll make it back before we close the breach."
Iris then confessed. "Um, actually I was here to talk to you about something else."
"Oh. Yeah, sure." Jay accepted, after the shock faded. "What is it?"
Iris formed a sheepish look. "Well, my new editor wants me to write a scathing article on The Flash not being able to protect Central City from Geomancer, which also includes how the three young female heroes are the real protectors of Central City."
"Really?" Jay asked.
"Sounds good for your kids, Caity." The psychic smirked.
"Yeah." Caitlin nodded with a wide proud motherly smile.
"Tell me about it." Iris chuckled. "I've been told to write an article on the three of them soon enough, but also," She turned to Jay. "I was hoping to write an article about you instead, something that would calm people until Barry got back."
"What, CCPN's not calm enough with my nieces? They're not good enough for a stupid old newspaper?!" Olivia glared and growled. "Iris, you better make sure I don't get the name of your new editor, otherwise you're gonna find him dangling off the side of a building or turned into street pizza on the sidewalk of your station."
"I will remember to tell him to watch out for Angel Fury." Iris quipped with a gulp.
"Calm down, you." Caitlin rubbed her back. "Those hormones are putting you on a murderous path, Liv."
Jay formed a reluctant look. "You know, Iris, I don't know if that's the best idea."
Iris spoke her thoughts. "Well, I think that if people knew that there were more than three heroes could protect them, one who could move at the speed of sound, it would… it would really help. Would you just think about it?"
Before any other question could be brought up, a loud emergency siren blared from within the city. The three girls got up from the gurneys. Olivia looked upwards. Caitlin did the same while holding an injection gun. Iris and Jay looked upwards with shock on their faces.
"That's a new one." Olivia muttered in fear, her eyes darting to the table with her suit in its rectangular form.
"Some crazy alarm's going off." Jay admitted.
"Yeah." Iris agreed.
"Am I the only one with a bad feeling right now?" Ruby asked.
An eerie feeling came over Caitlin. "Jarvis, turn on Channel 52."
"Certainly, Dr. Snow." The AI obliged, turning on the monitor.
"Don't even think about running." Geomancer announced, pointing a finger to the camera pointing at him. "So many new heroes in town, a new Flash, a new Venom…You've seen them. One with a shiny helmet, the other one a small little demon girl. Not the ones I was hoping to crack, but let's see just how fast and strong they are, Central City."
They just heard the seismokinetic's challenge. Geomancer challenged the heroes of Central City.
They watched him initiate his challenge, Geomancer slammed his fist into the ground, sending out a vicious tremor. The live footage showed the entire area nearby shaking, pieces of tall buildings falling off the sides.
In the back of the footage, she saw a hospital shaking and quivering. "Oh, hell no!" Olivia rushed to the table with her suit.
"Liv!" Caitlin called out to her.
Frankie looked to her sisters. "We need to be ready." Her form changed into Magenta and the others put on their masks.
"Give me the Velocity-9." Jay got her attention, holding out his hand.
Caitlin looked reluctant. "Jay, we have no idea how long it will last." She looked past him to the psychic who held her box. "Liv, no!"
"We don't have time to figure that out, Caitlin." Jay countered.
"Caity, the city's in danger." Olivia gestured to the screen. "I'm not gonna stand by now, not when the city's in danger."
"… Fine." Caitlin accepted, handing Jay the injection gun with Velocity-9 before rushing to the psychic. Placing her hands on her shoulders, she said. "You have to be careful!"
"I'll hold up the building, it's the best I can with my current state." Olivia assured the doctor. "Trust me on this, Caity."
"I will." Caitlin said, but she wanted extra assurance. She faced her daughters, fully suited. "Girls, you split up out there, help your aunt and help the people in the building." They nodded.
"Let's go then." Olivia pressed her box to her chest, pushing down the button on the middle. The nanites surged out of the box. The nanites formed her skin-tight black suit, clinging to her body like a second skin. Crimson-red boots with white overtone formed around her legs. Nanites formed kneecaps into blood-red flame emblems. The nanites ran up her torso, covering her in a dark-red thing but protective armor. The nanites gathered in the middle of her chest, forming the SHIELD emblem with blood-red flames surrounding it. White shoulder pads with red spikes formed on her shoulders, dark-red gauntlets with white overtone formed on her arms and the black claws flexed.
Running her claws through her long magenta-colored hair, the nanites traveled over her eyes and her entire head. A menacing dark-silver mask formed, her completely white eyes shined. The nanites ran over her hair strands, attaching to them and changing their color. They changed into crimson-red. Removing her clawed fingers from her hair, the hair remained afloat as though an invisible kept it airborne.
Spinning her whip handle around, she pressed the side of it and unleashed her whip, cracking the ground. "Feels good to be back." Angel Fury cracked her neck. She retracted her whip, doubting she'd use it for this mission.
"Cool." Ruby admitted.
"And we didn't get suits like that?" Evelyn jealously said.
Jay pressed the injection gun to his wrist, pulling the trigger and it shined white as the Velocity serum entered his body. When he felt the speed drug enter his body, he could instantly feel the lightning crackling against every cell and muscle in his body.
"Let's go!" Olivia declared.
X
Shadowporting to the building, Evelyn appeared in a cloud of shadows with Frankie, Ruby and Olivia. The four women watched as the building shook violently.
"Holy shit!" Olivia let out. She shook her head, shaking off any negative feelings that rises to the surface. "Come on Liv." Angel Fury stepped backwards. "Girls, I'm gonna try and hold up the building as best as I can. Ruby you stay behind with me, you're gonna get people away with your powers. Evelyn, you and Frankie get into the higher floors of the building, get people out of there with your shadowporting. Frankie you throw them out with tendrils. Don't worry, Ruby's gonna pick catch them before they fall to the ground." They nodded.
"What about the lower floors?" Magenta asked.
"Our new speedster's gonna handle those and the people around the building." Olivia stated. She pressed her earpiece. "Garrick, you hear that?"
"On it!" Jay agreed.
"Time to work, Ladies!" Olivia announced, psychic energy erupting out of her body. Thrusting out her hands, she wrapped her energy around the building. Clenching her hands, she forced the veil of energy to cling to tall establishment.
"Let's go, Magenta!" Eclipse took her hand before vanishing in a mist of shadows.
The shadows erupted midair above the building's left side. Magenta and her sister fell down the side of it. The magnekinetic lashed out her hand, reforming it into a spiked mace. Smashing its way through the window, it dug into the floor like an anchor.
Magenta wrapped her hand around her sister's forearm before the magnekinetic pulled on her anchoring mace, shooting them into the building. They rolled on the floor while Frankie's weaponized arm retracted. They returned to their full height before spreading.
Evelyn kicked open a door, seeing a little kid curled up on a bed. Rushing to the child, she quickly snatched the young girl. "Don't worry, I got you!" She assured the child, rubbing her back, right before she disappeared in a mist of shadows.
Standing before a hallway, Magenta's eyes shined brightly with magenta before she uncrossed her arms, the doors pulled off the hinges and falling to the ground. Shooting out her arms, they split into thousands of tendrils that entered every room that she could reach. Pulling them out again, she brought them out of the rooms.
"Don't worry guys, I got you!" Magenta assured them before rushing towards the nearest window. Jumping out of the window, she swung both hands and released her hold on the civilians.
Destroyer saw them from the ground, lifting her hands and used her gravity powers to grab the civilians. She began sweating behind her mask. "Okay, pretty hard to hold multiple people."
Angel Fury smirked behind her mask. "Guess HYDRA didn't prepare you enough, huh, Destroyer of Worlds."
"Bring it!" She accepted the obvious attempt to rile her up. Destroyer stopped complaining, swinging her hands downwards and brought the citizens to the ground. When others came through the building windows, she managed to quickly grab them.
Olivia smiled behind her mask as her three nieces managed to quickly get so many people out of the building. "… I'm proud of these goofballs…" She proudly thought to herself. She wasn't gonna let herself be outdone by her brother's kids yet, she was gonna keep fighting. The energy increased around the building, keeping the pieces from falling when big cracks came to vision.
WHOOSH
"Finally!" Angel Fury shouted in her mind when a familiar flash of yellow lightning raced past her, speeding into the building and returning with a civilian that he dropped off with the other rescued civilians. Eclipse appeared in the same place, dropping off a couple of kids. Destroyer gently placed other citizens near the others. Magenta jumped out of the building, shooting out a tendril and attaching it to a nearby building. With a pair of elderly men strapped to her back, she swung towards the other citizens and let them go.
In a matter of a few minutes, the five heroes had managed to empty the building. Once she was assured that every single citizen had been rescued, Olivia released her psychic hold on the building and the building fell, crumbling to pieces.
Olivia looked to her nieces who she smiled at. "Nice job girls." She chuckled, glancing at Jay. "You too, Flash."
"Thanks, Angel Fury." The Flash tipped his helmet.
WHOOSH
He ran away, making his way to the facility. Olivia walked to her nieces and they held hands. Evelyn used her powers, shadowporting out of the place.
Another day of saving went well.

(Earth-2, Felicity's Base)
Kendra walked into the technopath's office, taking off her helmet with a loud sigh. "What a day!" She closed the door and was surprised to see Felicity on the phone. "Felicity, who's on the phone?"
"Wait a sec, Kendra." Felicity told her briefly before returning to her call. "Sorry, I'm here. Uh huh. Yeah, I think I can get someone to help you. Don't worry. I'll call him in a sec and call you back." She lifted an eyebrow. "Okay, I won't call you back. Thanks for trusting me. Okay, see you." She hung up.
The flyer walked closer. "Secret admirer or someone on our team needs help?"
"The latter." The metahuman nodded. "He told me not to say anything, but I need to call someone. Hope he's still in Central City." She pressed her hand on the screen, bringing up the information of the certain someone.
"Who're you talking about?" Kendra inquired.
"Sorry, can't say. I have to keep the circle of information small." Felicity sighed. "How'd it go last night? You fight Zoom?"
"For a second, yeah. But I didn't get a single shot in. Bastard's too fast." Kendra admitted with a sigh. "But I did see something weird before, actually."
"Anything other than Zoom hunting Harrison Wells?" Felicity asked, her eyes skimming over the information popping up on her screen.
"I saw Zoom fighting someone else near S.T.A.R. Labs, fighting Zoom." That information made the technopath look up from her screen. "I don't know who it was, but it someone in a strange suit of armor. It looked like something that S.T.A.R. Labs made with Wayne Enterprises."
Felicity nodded her understanding. "I saw a video of who it was, but it wasn't the best look. What'd it look like? Like Luke's Batwing suit?"
"Nope, something entirely different no." Kendra pointed to the screens behind the technopath. "Try bringing up the security footage from last night?"
"All right." She pressed her hand against the other screen, bringing up the footage on the screens behind her. Putting a pause to her primary search, Felicity looked to the screens. "Wow."
The two women saw Zoom running around in the parking lot, dodging energy beams and missiles that comes from the flying knight. They watched a larger energy beam shooting out of the knight's chest plate, hitting the evil speedster and sending him to the ground. Both of the knight's arms turned into long blades, pulsing with energy, before she charged for the speedster again.
"I saw this guy fighting with another Flash last night. Who the heck's this guy?" Felicity asked.
"Good question, but he's definitely not from this city." Kendra knew that when she saw the knight swinging both blades for Zoom but missed every time. "He's got training."
"Great, we got another weirdo in our city." Felicity sighed. "But at least this guy's on our side. That suit looks way more advanced than Luke's Batwing suit." She turned around to face the flyer. "This guy fought Zoom last night?"
"Yup." Kendra nodded. "He's pretty good. Might be a good fit for our team, you know."
"Yeah…" Felicity trailed off. Sighing to herself she made eye contact with the flyer. "Things go well yesterday with the others yesterday?"
"Pretty good, lots of civilians had to be rescued but they're safe now." Kendra walked to the door, putting on her helmet she said. "I'm gonna go out again, you handle things on your end and direct me to places that's in trouble, all right?"
"Will do." She assured her as Kendra walked out of the office. Felicity picked up her phone again. Skimming through her contacts list, she found the right person and called the person. In an instant, the line connected.
"Hey, B? Got time for a job?"

(Woodlands)
Crickets chirped all around them. Birds chirping gently before flying into the air, diving to the ground and snatching worms or rats with their talons. Leaves in different sizes covering the long tree branches, extending down to the roots of the trees. Either leaves or branches fell off their trees, piling around the roots of the trees.
Standing beside one tree, Matt ran his eyes up the trunk. "Damn, these trees are tall as fuck." Looking up to the sky, he couldn't even see past the branches and trees. "Think Logan would love this place." That hairy caveman loves every forest he can find, and this one would not be no different.
"Really not a sightseeing tour, Stark." Harry told him, walking in front of Cisco and Earth-2 Barry.
Detective Iris West-Allen walked to the mutant's side; her hands clutched around her firearm as it was pointed downwards. "Not used to trees tall as these, are you, Stark?"
"The way I'm raised up, big city boy and all, the tallest tree I've seen is about as tall as a one-story house." The nanite mutant gestured to this tree. "Nothing like these tall bastards, though. Might as well be taller than an apartment building."
"Wouldn't be wrong on that, pal." Iris chuckled. "Last time I was here, it was with Barry, Ruby, Evelyn, Jesse and Seth. He helped the girls with their powers and helped Jesse with some basic training."
"He helped train my daughter?" Harry asked.
Iris nodded. "No offense, Wells, but your daughter have a tendency to run off like a damn cat."
"So, Seth assumed it'd be best if she knew at least some fighting techniques." The nanite mutant realized.
"Yup." Barry said, walking carefully as to not step in any moss. "How are the others? Ruby and Evelyn doing well?"
"They're great." Matt smiled.
"Great?" Cisco asked. "One's a kleptomaniac, the other's an assassin. They're psycho."
Matt chuckled. "You might wanna keep that one from Seth, otherwise he might leave a doll head in your bed or something worse." He joked.
Passing by a large log, Cisco looked around. "You're sure this is the place?"
Coming to a stop with the others, Harry inhaled sharply before exhaling. His breath completely white before fading. "This is definitely the place."
"Great." Matt let out, placing his arc reactor on his chest and releasing the nanites over his body to form his Iron Knight suit.
Killer Frost stepped out from behind a tall tree, locking her eyes onto the large group. "You lost?" They raised their weapons, pointing them at the icy metahuman. "Or just back for more fun?"
"Thinking of the wrong person for that, Frosty." Matt quipped.
Harry cocked his energy rifle. "We just came here to talk."
"Oh, really?" Killer Frost tilted her head as she spoke with a sarcastic tone. Pointing to the firearms pointed at her, she said. "Do you bring your little toys to every conversation you have? Or do you just want to see me burn again?" She sneered, walking around a tree.
As the others followed her, Iris said. "Considering you almost killed my father and my partner; the thought has crossed my mind."
"Tell us… Where does Zoom keep his prisoners?" Harry asked sneeringly.
Killer Frost chuckled distortive. "You really don't know how to use your abilities, do you, breacher?"
"It's a work in progress, Elsa." Cisco shouted.
Matt looked to him. "Nah, you just lazy, bro."
"Dude!" Cisco complained. Killer Frost chuckled at their antics. The mechanical engineer from Earth-1 formed a soft expression while pointing her special double-barreled firearm at her. "Zoom killed the love of your life."
They saw Killer Frost gaping her mouth, shock and sadness revealing themselves in her cold blue eyes. It was impossible to see those kinds of emotions showing themselves on the face of someone so cold and evil.
Matt lowered his repulsors. "That'll hurt, even for somebody with a heart as cold as yours."
Coming to a stop, she focused her attention on them with a narrowed look. "And you think that would make me turn on Zoom?"
Matt shrugged. "Ever hear the saying: Enemy of my enemy is my friend, right?"
All four Earth-2 natives looked to him with confusion on their faces. Cisco saw their looks and asked. "What? Don't tell me it doesn't work like that over here."
"Looks like it doesn't work like that here, Cisco." Matt deduced from the looks.
Earth-2 Caitlin chuckled. "If I tell you, he'd kill me." They could understand her fears. But then they saw the villainous smirk forming on her face. "But if I kill you and take you to him, I bet he'd be pretty pleased with me. Maybe even let me off my leash." Her hands emitted cold mist. "So, take a wild guess. What do you think I'm gonna choose?"
"Move!" Iris ordered, all of them running over to a log and jumping over it.
Matt didn't follow her order, he equipped his helmet and jumped into the air.
Killer Frost launched icicles for them, but only hit the log that acted as a barricade. Matt dodged the ones coming for him by spinning in the air.
Cisco felt small pieces of ice hitting the back of his head. "Argh! That did not go as planned!"
Barry looked at him incredulously. "Her name starts with Killer. This comes as a shock to you?"
Cisco looked up to Matt. "Matt, hold her off! We got to move without being turned into ice sculptures!"
"I'm right here! You don't need to shout!" Iron Knight shouted to Vibe. Flying towards the icy metahuman, he thrusts out an arm and shot a repulsor blast. Killer Frost mimics his attack, thrusting out her own arm and shoots an ice blast.
The two attacks met, cancelling each other out.
Matt lowered himself to the ground, retracting his wings and spinning on the ground. Forming a dagger-like blade before swinging it at her. Killer Frost formed icicles on her nails and lifted them, blocking the mutant's attack.
"Nice try, Red." Killer Frost quipped.
"Give me a break, would you?" Matt said, he had trouble hitting someone with the face of his nieces' mother.
"Sure thing." Killer Frost breathed out a large amount of cold air, hitting the mutant's faceplate and freezing it. Matt's blade dematerialized and he staggered back. Thrusting out both hands, she unleashed a cold blast that hit him in the stomach and send him rolling on the ground.
Harry saw Iron Knight landing on the ground. "Stark needs help." He shared a look with the detective who cocked her firearm. "I will cover you."
"Okay." Iris nodded.
"No, no, no, hey, that's a horrible idea." Her husband let out in dismay. His words fell on deaf ears as they began counting down. "Hey, no! Hey, hey, no! Hey, guys-"
Harry didn't listen and looked over the log, pointing his rifle and pulled the trigger. The energy shot neared the icy metahuman, but she dodged it and stepped away from the nanite mutant. Killer Frost shot out another ice blast.
At that shot, everyone behind the log scattered and spread out.
Killer Frost stepped backwards, getting a wider field of vision. She saw Harrison and Barry and shot out icicles for both. Her attempts to hit them missed, Barry hid behind another log. Harry fired energy shots from his rifle while dodging the ice attacks.
Returning to his feet, Matt joined Harry's attack and shot out repulsor blasts. Killer Frost avoided the attacks. She shot out icicles after them, making both stepping back and dodge the icy attacks.
Walking beside a thick tree, Killer Frost readied herself for another onslaught from them. But she froze when Iris appeared from behind a tree, pointing her pistol at her head. The icy metahuman spun around, grabbing the detective's throat and her gun before pinning her to the tree.
Before she could do any lengthy damage to the detective, Cisco appeared beside her and aimed his special weapon at her head. "Stop…or you'll never make another icicle again."
"You think you can pull that trigger, honey?" Killer Frost doubted it, she could see his eyes shaking as his hands.
"He might not." Harry made his presence known, aiming his rifle at her head. "But I will."
"Is this where I say, "don't pull your triggers," because we need this one! Shoot first and ask questions doesn't always work, people!" Matt reminded them.
Earth-2 people are really violent.

(Earth-1, S.T.A.R. Labs)
After that crumbling mess with that building, the five heroes needed their rest. Caitlin was worried sick, out of her mind of Olivia and her baby. She was concerned of what might happen to Jay, of course.
But Olivia was the one who carries a child in her.
The very moment she, her daughters and the speedster returned to the facility, Caitlin had the mutant lose her suit and had her strapped to a gurney. Without the others knowing, she checked the psychic and, more importantly, her baby.
Thankfully, everything was okay, and her baby was unharmed.
Olivia really loved Caitlin showing such concern for her and her unborn baby.
What she didn't like was how Caitlin practically forced her to sleep and rest with the others as well.
After Jay returned and before he took a nap, Caitlin took a sample of Jay's blood, she had to run tests and see how the new batch of the Velocity serum affected his body. She ran tests on it, comparing the five samples to each other while checking the DNA sequence beside the displayed samples.
She formed a shocked expression. Caitlin learnt closer to her screen, examining it repeatedly to see if she got it right, or if her eyes were playing tricks on her. "I can't believe it."
From the other side of the Cortex, Iris looked away from writing her article and asked. "What is it? Did Evelyn steal my Dad's badge again?"
"That happened one time, Iris." Caitlin defended her daughter with one finger held up. Iris gave her a dry look. "Okay, four times." The reporter narrowed her eyes. "Fine, seven times. Evie's got issues. Don't blame her."
"I won't, not sure about my Dad though." Iris chuckled.
Caitlin shook her head. "But… I think I figured out how to save Jay's life." She turned on the comms device, speaking directly into the microphone. "Hey, Jay. Wake up. Come to the Cortex. It's important."
"It certainly is." Geomancer made his presence known to the women in the Cortex. Both giving him shocked eyes, full of fear. "Hello ladies."
Caitlin walked around the main console, making her way to the reporter's side. Iris glared at the evil metahuman. "What do you want?" They both stepped back in fear.
Running his finger along the railing, Adam Fells answered. "I like to watch heroes fall and never get back up."
"Those eyes work properly?" Caitlin mocked. "They always get back up."
Geomancer smirked. "Hard to do that when the earth swallows you whole." His evil smirk widened before he slammed his hand into the ground, cracking the floor open.
Caitlin and Iris rushed out of the Cortex. They had to avoid a lamp falling down on them. Running into the corridor, they had to secure their footing as the ground below them shook. Managing to regain their balance, they ran through the corridors and entered Cisco's workshop.
Immediately jumping into a search, Caitlin looked around rapidly. "Where is it?" Only one weapon in this facility could help them against a metahuman like Geomancer.
In the corridor, the women heard Geomancer say in mock hurt. "Aw, don't go. We're having so much fun."
"He's closing in." Iris said in horror.

(Time Vault)
The hidden vault immediately lit up and Gideon revealed her floating head over the console.
"Activating Guardian Protocol." She announced.
A wall opened up, nanites splitting away like gates… a pair of white eyes lit up in the darkened room behind.

(Cisco's Workshop)
Another seismic quake came over the facility. Iris lost her footing, falling to the ground. Caitlin managed to brace herself, but that did nothing to stop the cabinet behind her from falling down on top of her. The various objects on the shelves fell over her.
"Oh my God, Caitlin!" Iris called out to her before crawling to her side. "Caitlin, are you okay?" She asked but didn't get any response. She didn't have time to wait either when she felt a large hand grab hold of her blouse from behind.
"Argh!" She screamed when Geomancer threw her up against a desk. "You!"
Geomancer chuckled, looking down on the defenseless reporter before his feet. "Looks like this new Flash, new Venom, those other girls… they're not much of heroes after all." He clenched his hands, Iris turning to his menacingly curling fingers. "Let's see what a seven will do to S.T.A.R. Labs… Or… you and your friend."
Adam Fells could practically envision the feeling of the two women shattering in his hands from the seismic quakes he's gonna send through them. First their skulls would shatter, then their torsos and finally their legs would shatter.
Leaving nothing but meat suits and organs left.
He raised his right hand, gathering seismic quakes converging to his fist.
But it could never connect with the ground as an armored hand wrapped around it, keeping it from touching the ground. Iris and Adam turned to the origin of the hand and grew wide-eyed.
His blue-steeled helmet with red scars looking directly into the metahuman's eyes. The large gauntleted blue right arm tightened its hold on the metahuman's hand while the gauntleted red arm wrapped itself around Geomancer's throat. Iris recognized the Cold Gun on the right gauntlet and the Heat Gun on the left gauntlet. The big and modified mini-gun on the back and reaching over his right shoulder threateningly spun in his face.
The arc reactor placed within the emblem of a star shining brightly.
"Iron Knight?" Iris asked shocked.
Turning the head to the reporter, he spoke. "My Apologies, Ms. West, but it is not Iron Knight."
"Wait?" Iris recognized that voice. "Jarvis?" She asked with wide eyes.
"Indeed, Ms. West." The AI confirmed with a now whilst inhabiting the Frost-Flame suit.
"W-W-Who are you?" Geomancer asked hoarsely through the hand clutching his throat.
"I am an assistant… and now, a guardian as well." Jarvis answered. "Mr. Fells, I have to ask you to leave the premises immediately. You are trespassing." He empathized his point by throwing the evil metahuman to the nearest wall.
Geomancer grit his teeth. "Bring it on, tin can!" He thrusted out his right hand, housing a lot of seismic quakes.
Jumping backwards, dodging the fist the AI raised his left arm. Clenching his fist, the Heat Gun ignited before unleashing a stream of flames at the evil metahuman. The fiery attack made Adam lose concentration as he was pinned to the wall. "Damn you!"
Jarvis stopped his fire attack before charging into the metahuman, slamming both hands on his shoulders and tightened his hold on them. "Language, Mr. Fells. There are children in this facility."
"Bite me!" Geomancer grabbed hold of the armor's left shoulder. Sending a series of quakes through his arm, Adam tore off the armor's arm from the shoulder. He punched the armor's head, making it release the other hand's hold on him.
Aiming the mini-gun at him, Jarvis charged it and readied a hail of bullets. But Adam grabbed hold of it, using his previous move and tore it off the suit with an array of seismic quakes. Gathering seismic quakes in his hand, he punched the armor in the chest and send him to the ground.
"Jarvis!" Iris screamed.
"Don't know who this guy is… But I'm gonna tear him down…" Geomancer spoke menacingly.
But before he could do anything to either Iris or Jarvis, Geomancer grunted in pain at the electricity coursing over his body, originating from the weaponized collar on his throat. He tried to pull it off, but it didn't help, the collar was secured around his throat.
He fell to the ground, still struggling and spasming as the collar kept tasing him.
As Jarvis got back on his feet, both he and Iris looked to the side and saw Caitlin holding the B.O.O.T in her hands. A small bruise on the side of her forehead.
"Splendid marksmanship, Dr. Snow." The AI praised.
"Yeah, nice shot." Iris agreed.
Scrunching her face, Caitlin clarified. "I was aiming for his leg."
Jarvis tilted the armor's head. "May I suggest a quick course in marksmanship, Dr. Snow? It may help you in the future. I can construct a tutorial within the following minute."
"Jarvis, I can still reload this thing. Don't make me waste the ammo on you." Caitlin threatened.

(Earth-2, Woodlands)
Whilst seated on a stump, Killer Frost looked at the people around her. She saw Reverb's doppelganger leaning against a tree. The armored mutant standing beside her. The CSI scientist panting and braced against a tree. Harrison Wells pointing his energy rifle at her head just like the detective beside her.
Killer Frost chuckled. "You guys just gonna stand around me like I'm an endanger species or something?"
"You haven't complained so far now, have you?" Matt stated.
Iris directed an emotionless glance at the icy metahuman. "Where is Zoom's lair?"
When silence came as the answer, Harry's patience grew thinner. He cocked his rifle. "Where is it?"
She gave them a dry look. "If I tell you, he will kill me."
"He'll kill you anyway, Caitlin." Cisco countered.
Glaring at him, Killer Frost sneered. "Stop calling me that. It's not my name."
"Yes, it is. You just don't want to hear it because it reminds you of someone you used to be. Trust me, I know that person very well." Cisco argued.
She continued to wear a cold emotionless look. "You don't know anything about me."
Cisco showed his defiance, walking closer to her. "I know the Caitlin Snow on my Earth. I know that when she loves someone, that person is her world. That person was Ronnie Raymond. And he died too." Killer Frost's eyes remained unflinching. "It devasted her, and I can see it's doing the same to you. But…. Seth changed that for my Caitlin."
"He unfroze her heart." Matt continued. "What she lost after her Ronnie died, she got again when she met Seth Fury."
"Zoom took Ronnie away from you." Cisco said. He pointed to Harry. "His daughter…" He pointed to himself. "My friend…" He pointed to Matt. "His best friend who's been gone for more than year… Zoom's gonna them away from us, just like he took Ronnie from you." He crouched before her. "Caitlin…"
They could see her visible grow annoyed, even disgusted by that name.
"…All you have to do is tell us where he's keeping them. And then you'll never hear from us again, and you can go." Cisco assured her. "Please…"
"And I'm betting you do this; you'll be able to make up for all the things Seth's done for you." Matt said.
Killer Frost looked to him. "And what makes you so sure I know Seth and that he's done things for us. I'm a bad guy remember?"
"Seth's the kind of person who'd give his life for the person he loves, even if it is someone else with a similar face, even if they are fighting for the other side." Matt said. "The fact that you have the same face as the Caitlin Snow we know, his Caitlin… that's enough for him to protect you. Different allegiances be damned. And something else?" Killer Frost narrowed her eyes. "The fact that you haven't denied anything I've said so far, proves I'm right. Seth saved your hide a few times, hasn't he?"
"Yup. Threatened to kill me once but saved me more times than that." Killer Frost answered.
"Sounds like Seth." Matt chuckled. "I promised his Caitlin that I'd bring his sorry ass back to her and their daughters…. I know you lost your Ronnie, and I'm sorry for that Caitlin. But please… help me keep this promise to his Caitlin, so she doesn't have to lose her heart again."
Those words melted the huge icy chains around her already ice-cold heart. Killer Frost even felt the chains unshackle, falling deep down in her soul and ending up somewhere else. As though her frozen heart thawed lightly, she felt her cold heart beat and spread its warmth to the rest of her.
Sighing, she got up on her feet and accepted. "Fine. I'll show you where it is. But that's it."
"Wait?" Matt stopped her. "Where is Seth? We scanned the area before, and it showed that he was here with you before. And I'm guessing he was with you."
"He was. But then he disappeared afterwards, leaving me by my lonesome." Caitlin spoke in mock hurt.
Matt grit his teeth. "Seth, the moment I find you, I'm gonna cut you into tiny pieces!" He shouted.
"You're real pissed at him not staying in one place?" Iris deduced.
"You have no idea, Detective." Matt nodded with gritted teeth; his anger written all over his face.
Killer Frost chuckled, stepping past the armored mutant. "Come with me."
"Uh, where are we going?" Barry asked.
"Ascension Cliffs." She answered before walking onwards with the others following her.
Matt groaned. "You better be there, Seth… I'm not breaking my promise to your kids or your girlfriend." He muttered before following them.
Cloaked and covered by the leaves of a very tall tree, standing on the highest branch, Seth looked down at the group with a smile. "Gotta admit… It's good to see those faces again." Parts of him wanted to go down to the oblivious group and rejoin his friends, but he knew better. He had to bide his time.
"Yeah, feels like a lifetime." Venom mentally nodded. "Should we not just join them now? We could help them out, maybe even defeat Zoom with Matt here."
"As much as I agree with that idea, Venom, we can't join them." Seth focused his eyes on Matt. "Glad to see Matty again… Hope Liv and the others are safe on the other Earth."
"What's the plan now?" Venom asked when he felt his host become tempted by the idea of joining them.
"We stalk them from afar, watch over them… and then we wait for the right moment. Kinda." Seth announced before jumping higher up the tree, grabbing onto a branch and spinning into a crouch on it. Jumping from it he jumped across the treetops and made sure to put distance between him and his friends.

(Zoom's Lair)
"And now… Attempt number 13!" Nathan Bliss announced like a ringmaster, he loved it.
Barry rolled his eyes at his playful tone and readied himself what was about to happen.
A lot of things happened after Zoom's visit.
Their imprisoned masked companion kept tapping in a pattern. Barry focused on that, working on what that pattern was. After hearing the pattern-based tapping for a few moments, the speedster saw that it wasn't Morse Code. He knew the masked prisoner was trying to tell them something. But they had to find the pattern first so they could decipher the message.
He was fighting for hope, hope that his message would help them out of this jam. But Jesse didn't feel very hopeful, relaying to the speedster that was no pattern in the masked prisoner's tapping. Mr. Bliss agreed with the young girl, but only to get the blissful release that is the silence that comes when the masked man stops tapping his glass.
The speedster forwent the words of the pathokinetic, focusing on Jesse. He revealed the words of her father to her, that he told him that the only person smarter than him was his own daughter, Jesse Wells.
Jesse questioned that. But Barry assured her of that, stating that if they work together, they can figure out the pattern of the masked man's tapping and finally understand his words.
For the hundredth time, Nathan Bliss made jokes and stated that it was a complete waste of time for them to try and work out the message as it wouldn't help them out of this hellish cave in the middle of nowhere.
Having shot the former ringmaster a dry look, Jesse agreed to work with Barry. She noted her findings, he never went past five knocks without pausing. When realizing what that meant, and hearing the tapping again, the speedster knew what the pattern was: a five-by-five tap code used by POWs.
They worked together, deciphering the tapping till they worked out the first letters.
"J-A-Y"
Barry inquired the masked prisoner, asking him if he was referring to Jay Garrick. The speedster assured him that the Earth-2 hero is alive and is on Earth-1. But the masked man grew noticeably upset and began hitting his head on the glass cell.
Barry didn't understand why he reacted the way he did, but both he and Jesse pleaded that he continued his message. But before he could proceed with his message, Zoom appeared and instructed him not to converse with the others anymore, or he'd end up like the mangled ringmaster.
But what happened next was very painful for the Scarlet Speedster. Zoom phased into his cell, grabbing him by the throat. After being thrown into a wall, Barry declared that he'd get out of here, and he'd destroy the pitch black speedster.
Zoom then said that all he needs from him is his speed, and he only need to be barely alive for him to get that. The next minutes were spent with Zoom delivering a cruel and merciless beatdown, raining down thunderous fists on the Scarlet Speedster and slamming him to the ground, walls and glass.
He dashed away, and Barry smiled despite the beating he just received. Zoom had just showed them the best way to escape their cells.
Which brought them to their current situation.
Barry stood still, speeding till his body turned into a blur. He charged and tried phasing the wall, but instead ended up ricocheting off the walls. "Argh! Gah!" He groaned at his newest failure.
"And it appears number 13 failed as well." Nathan laughed.
"You know, I thought ringmasters were supposed to help people." Barry sniped.
"You're wrong, Mr. Flash. Ringmasters capture the audience and keeps them entranced for the show they're about to reveal for them. We help our crewmen, and you, Mr. Flash, are not part of my crew. You are merely a street magician, trying to succeed with his amateurish card tricks." Nathan said with a single eye looking at him.
"Anyone tell you're a dick?" Barry sniped before trying to phase again. But it ended up in the same way, the speedster bouncing off the glass cell door and into the wall.
"Look, are you sure you want to keep doing that?" Jesse asked in concern. "You know, if Zoom catches you, he's gonna hurt you again."
"You should listen to the young Ms. Wells. Forgoing our masked compadre, she is the long-standing resident of this Cave of Madness. And unlike him, she is able to actually voice her knowledge." Mr. Bliss quipped.
"Keep talking like that, Bliss, you might lose your last arm and eye." Jesse sniped.
Barry pressed his head against the glass cell with closed eyes. "I don't understand why I can't phase through this."
Jesse thought of his words. "Well, your body would need to have the same resonance as the glass walls."
Thinking back to the times he's time-travelled and comparing them to his inability to phase now, Barry said. "I should be going more than fast enough. It's something else."
"Perhaps you and the glass wall are more different than you think, Mr. Flash." Nathan commented.
A lightbulb appeared over Jesse's head, a flash of inspiration coming over her. "Maybe you're resonating at a different frequency."
Barry had a look of realization. "Yeah, your Earth vibrates at a different frequency than mine. Same reason Cisco can't vibe."
Nathan looked intrigued, dusting off his hat with his one and only hand. "Would it be possible to make up the difference?"
"That's the first and best thing you've ever said." Jesse chuckled.
"Certain of that, Ms. Wells? I believe I've tried to get our masked friend to stop tapping repeatedly." Nathan stated, but none of them heard him. Or at least, they didn't care enough to listen to it.
"The only way I can make up the difference… Is only if I can go faster." Barry stated before taking a stance. He had to phase his way through the glass… he had to.
X
Killer Frost walked ahead of the group, leading them towards Ascension Cliffs. They still had to walk through the Woodlands, full of huge trees. But she recognized the area and saw that they were close to the edge of the Woodlands, close to Ascension Cliffs and close to Zoom's lair.
Glancing backwards, she saw Harrison and Iris walking directly behind her with their weapons in hand. Cisco and Barry right behind them. Looking to her side, she saw the armored mutant walking beside her.
Growing bored of the silence, she asked him. "So, you and Seth are the same? Not metahumans? You're…."
"Mutants." He finished for her. "Why?"
"Just interested and didn't want to die of boredom." She quipped. Mentally chuckling to herself, she asked the nanite mutant. "What's he like?"
"What do you mean?" Matt raised an eyebrow.
"Seth, with your Earth's Caitlin. What's he like with her?" Killer Frost clarified her question. At that question, Cisco laughed. Earth-2 Caitlin turned her head, facing Reverb's doppelganger with a cold glare. "You got a problem, breacher?"
"Calm down, White Witch." Cisco tried to get her to calm down. "Just thought it was funny how Seth could unfreeze the hearts of two Caitlin Snows."
"He's got a point." Matt nodded. "But to answer your question… he's a Lethal Protector." Killer Frost looked at him. "Seth always defends her. He prioritizes her and their daughters above all else. He defends his family no matter what."
"One time our Barry got angry at her, and Seth immediately jumped to her defense." Cisco recalled Barry's behavior when experiencing the effects of Rainbow Raider's whammie attacks. "Thought he might just chew his head right of there."
"Saw him do that on this Earth, actually." She licked her lips. "That made me shiver."
Matt scoffed. "Great, he managed to heat up the ice queen as well." At this point, the nanite mutant thought it'd be best to keep Seth away from other Caitlin Snows in the multiverse.
"She's… lucky, your Caitlin." Killer Frost admitted.
"She lost her loved one just like you, Frost." Matt said. "But she met someone who made her better again. You'll meet someone too."
Tilting her head, she added. "Think it'll be a while before someone can unfreeze my ice cold heart."
"Fun thing about meeting someone, you might just be surprised by what they bring to the table." Matt said.
"Not to be that guy, but should we really talk about a criminal's love life right now?" Harry asked.
"Trying not to be that guy but ends up right there anyway." Killer Frost chuckled, the S.T.A.R. Labs CEO glaring at her.
Iris rolled her eyes, turning them upwards and nodded to the cliffs. "Guys up there!"
The others followed the direction of her nod, seeing the humongous cliff before them. In the middle of it was rocky entrance, leading deeper into the cliff. In front of it is a large metallic rusty bridge. Even from the edge of the woodlands, they could hear the bridge creaking loudly.
"Well, well, well." Harry chanted in shock of the lair.
Barry gulped. "We're going up there?"
Earth-2 Caitlin nodded. "That's where Zoom's lair is."
"A place only a speedster could get to." Harry realized.
"Huh, for some reason all the bad guys the best view." Matt chuckled. "We should try out for the bad guy thing, would be pretty rad."
"Saw how that turned out for my double, last thing we need is a sequel with yours truly." Cisco quipped. "But man… They are like the Cliffs of Insanity. So how do we get up there? Matt you up for flying us up there?"
"I can only take two people at a time, brother. Preferably one so I can shoot anything or anyone coming our way." Matt said.
Twirling around, icy mist emitted from Killer Frost's hands as she said. "I can make you something to climb on, darling." She waved her fingers.
Barry narrowed his gaze, hoping she was joking. "Are you serious? You want us to… what, just climb to the top of those cliffs… on ice?"
Sending him a glare, she countered. "Got any better ideas?"
"No, ma'am, I'm just, you know, I…." Barry lifted a foot. "I've got- you know, I'm wearing wingtips here. They, um, don't have much tread."
"You went with wingtips again?" Iris questioned and her husband shrugged sheepishly with a chuckle. Facing him with a soft face, she suggested. "Barry, um, maybe you should stay behind. Yeah?"
"No… hey, no." Pointing to Ascension Cliffs, he said. "I'm not letting you go up there by yourself."
"It is okay if you don't want to go… if you don't want to do this." Iris told him.
Barry cupped her hands. "I wasn't there with you when you fought Blackfire or Dollmaker… I should have been there." Iris looked like she was gonna counter. "You are my wife. I'm not leaving your side, I'm gonna be by your side."
"Okay." Iris knew she couldn't stop him. This way he'd be close to someone with a weapon.
"Beautiful." Cisco admitted with a teary voice.
Matt patted his shoulder rather hard, making him groan in pain. "Their moment, Single Lady, don't ruin it."
"Can we go?" Harry impatiently asked.
"Yeah." Iris assured him.
"I'm ready." Barry nodded.
Sighing loudly, Earth-2 Caitlin let out. "Let's go before I change my mind." She stepped in front of them, emanating icy mist from her hands she snapped them forward, unleashing a massive cold stream. The cold ice blast quickly formed a pathway, reaching the edge of the entrance.
"Not bad…" Matt trailed off, casting a glance backwards to the trees behind them.
"Something wrong, Stark?" Harry asked.
Narrowing his eyes, he informed. "Think we need to hurry is all."
"Oh, trust me, I ain't staying on this Earth longer than we have to." Cisco confessed.
Matt arched a brow. "You forget Seth? We need to find him or we're gonna deal with two scary ladies."
"Two?" Cisco asked the mutant who answered with a dry look.
"My wife and Caitlin."
X
Leaning against the tree of the nearest tall tree to the edge of Woodlands, Seth raised an eyebrow. "Caitlin got scary? I don't believe that." He said out loud after hearing the nanite mutant's words.
"Moron."
"Excuse me?" He asked, crouching down on the branch when seeing the evil icy metahuman continue to make an icy pathway for the group behind her.
Venom gave a demonic giggle. "She was always scary, moron. You just didn't notice." Hearing his host chuckle through his covered mouth. "What's with that chuckle?"
"Nah nothing." Seth assured his partner.
"It was something. Tell us!" Venom demanded.
"Fine…" Seth struggled not to chuckle again. "It's just that you're scared of Caitlin, it's pretty funny."
"We're not scared of your mate." Venom clarified.
"You just admitted to finding her scary, dumbass." Seth countered.
"We're not scared!" Venom complained loudly in his head.
Seth had to hold his head as it felt like his partner's voice was a speaker blasting at full volume. "Okay, calm down. Jeez…" He trailed off when seeing the group walk towards the icy path. "Let's lay low for a while, then catch up."
"10-4." Venom agreed.

(Earth-1, S.T.A.R. Labs)
In the battered and torn Cortex of the facility, Detective Joe West secured handcuffs around Geomancer's wrists, while the B.O.O.T collar was secured around his neck.
Hearing the handcuffs click, Adam Fells asked with a scoff. "You really think handcuffs can stop me?"
Joe faced the evil metahuman. "I know they can… just like this boot around your neck." The detective pointed to the collar. "It dampens your power. Same goes for the six-by-six cell you'll be calling home at Iron Heights. All right let's go." He, his captive and his daughter walked towards the exit.
Whilst controlling the Frost-Flame armor, Jarvis walked into the room with a broom. Geomancer tensed up at the sight of him. Iris remained passive at his form. Joe flinched at the sight of him, almost reaching for his gun.
Jarvis faced the evil metahuman. "It was not a pleasure meeting you, Mr. Fells. Good day." He declared before walking off to clean up the mess Geomancer caused.
Geomancer gritted his teeth. But Joe pushed him along. "Come on. One foot in front of the other, Geo-dude." Iris kept giving her father a strange look at that nickname. He had to be doing it on purpose, right?
Standing by the main console, Caitlin looked up to the AI. "Jarvis, you know where my daughters and Liv are?"
"Behind you, Dr. Snow." Jarvis quickly replied before sweeping the floor.
Spinning around, she did find her family walking towards her. "Oh God, I thought something happened to you guys."
"Nah." Olivia assured her with a shaking of her head. "Only that that catnap turned into a full rest."
"Which involved snoring through an earthquake." Evelyn added. The psychic slowly turned her eyes to her niece, narrowing them on her. "I'm gonna shut up."
Frankie watched her uncle's suit sweeping the floor. "Why is Uncle Matt's armor cleaning up the Cortex?"
"And why is his armor functioning without Uncle Matt in it?" Ruby added.
Olivia finally noticed the armor. "What the hell?"
Jarvis faced her. "Good day, Mrs. Fury-Stark. I do hope you're well-rested."
"Jarvis?" Olivia recognized the voice.
Caitlin turned her shocked eyes to her. "You didn't know about this either?" She gestured to the suit.
"Nope, this is news to me." Olivia answered. She looked to the suit. "Jarvis, mind explaining?"
Putting a pause to his cleaning, Jarvis faced them and explained. "After the two of you returned from your honeymoon, Mr. Stark immediately went to work on Dr. Wells' activities."
"Yeah, we know that part, Jarvis. But not about this…" Caitlin gestured to the suit the AI's inhabiting.
"While working up on a solution to counteract and deceive Dr. Wells and Zoom, Gideon and I pointed out the need for security for this facility, which has been poorly guarded for years and Mr. Ramon has repeatedly denied Mr. Stark's offers to enhance the security."
None of the ladies could deny that argument.
Caitlin nodded. "I get that, and together you came up with this."
"The Guardian Protocol." Jarvis nodded. "In the events that none of the heroes are here or unable to aid in intrusions, Mr. Stark programmed me to assume control of Mr. Stark's spare suit and fight off threats that present themselves."
"With us asleep, you had to take action." Olivia nodded her understanding. "Gotta thank Matty for that."
"Yeah, I think he and Cisco needs to have a lengthy discussion about the lack of security." Caitlin added.
"But thanks Jarvis. You saved our mom." Frankie smiled.
"Of course, Ms. Fury." The AI nodded before returning to his clean up duties.
"Guys?" The five women turned around, seeing Jay walking into the Cortex.
"Looks like Sleeping Beauty woke up." Ruby chuckled. "Ow!" She said when Evelyn elbowed her.
"Keep your comments to yourself." Evelyn said.
"Try keeping your hands to yourself, and your room wouldn't look like a Magpie nest." Ruby sniped.
"Girls, calm down." Caitlin sternly told them. She looked to Evelyn. "And what's this about your room looking like a Magpie nest?" Evelyn whistled innocently.
"Bout time you woke up Garrick." Olivia noted.
"So sorry I didn't come sooner." Jay apologized.
"That's okay." Caitlin said while starting up her computer. "Can I show you something?" Jay walked closer to her and the other women. Along with them, they all watched Caitlin's finding from before Geomancer's attacks.
Jay widened his eyes. "My cells… They've stopped degenerating?" He questioned, leaning over to look at the samples and results.
"How is that even possible?" Olivia asked, turning to her brother's girlfriend.
Caitlin explained. "It appears that when the Velocity-9 is in Jay's system, it kick-starts his latent regenerative capabilities, and his cells repair themselves."
Jay smiled. "And do you think you can get this to work permanently?"
"I don't know." Caitlin shook her head.
Frankie turned to her. "But doesn't this mean you guys are on the right track?"
"Definitely." Caitlin nodded.
"I don't know what to say." Jay returned to his full height again. "I… I don't know what to say." He repeated.
"Try a "thanks," Garrick." Olivia joked.
However, that plan was put on hold when one of the screens chimed alarmingly.
"What was that?" Frankie asked, her fingers covering in symbiotic skin before extending into sharp bladed claws.
Caitlin looked between the screens. Her eyes snapped to the one showing a visual model of the Speed Cannon in the Breach Room. "The Speed Cannon." She got the others to watch the same blaring notification on the screen.
"MALFUNCTION"
Ruby realized what happened. "Don't tell me Geomancer's tremors damaged it."
"We'd be lying if that was the case, Ms. Fury." Jarvis had to inform.
"Jarvis, leave the suit, get back into the system, check and see if something is salvageable." Jarvis nodded before the suit powered down. Olivia looked to the others. "Light a fire under you guys, we got work to do!" She ran into the corridor, the others following her.

(Earth-2, Zoom's Lair)
"Barry?" Cisco called out in a loud whisper when he and the group finally reached the top of the ice path, walking into the evil speedster's lair.
Matt followed him. He looked over the ground, seeing bunch of lab equipment torn to shreds and destroyed. It looked like claw tore them apart. "Zoom's not a science geek."
"Must have been his rage-quit moment or something." Cisco mused before walking deeper into the lair. The others followed him quickly. "Barry?"
The nanite mutant scanned the area with his HUD. He hoped he could find any signs of elemental here, but his scanner never came close to finding a trace of him. "Fucking bastard…" His scanner did find other lives in the cages.
Cisco walked deeper into the lair and grew a wide gleeful smile at the sight of his friend in the glass cell. Rushing to the cell, he stood before the glass cell and saw his friend. "Sup, pal?"
"Cisco?" Barry got up on his feet.
"Dude, we made it." Cisco said as the others walked over to him.
Barry looked to the nanite mutant. "How'd you find this place?"
"Had some help." Matt pointed a thumb to the icy metahuman who looked uninterested. He looked to her position near another glass cell. "Who's that in there?" He pointed to the mangled man with a torn tophat, his one good eye pointing at the mutant.
Killer Frost flicked her hair. "The most boring showman in the world, Mr. Bliss." She smirked. "Zoom did this to him when him and his goons couldn't kill your friend."
"They tried to kill Seth?" Matt asked and she nodded. He looked to the mangled ringmaster. "Zoom's not one for failures, is he?"
"That, Mr. Knight, would be an understatement." Nathan chuckled. "But as always, Ms. Killer Frost founds my situation amusing."
"Well if you see something funny, you can't stop laughing, can't you, now?" Killer Frost laughed louder at the sight of his pathetic form.
Matt paled. "Something's wrong with you, lady."
Pointing to Earth-2 Barry, Cisco admitted. "Don't even get me started on this guy. Oh, boy." The CSI scientist of this world waved to his doppelganger.
"Wait, Matt, what about Seth?" Barry asked.
"Guy's like a frigging bird, can't stay in a single spot." Matt groaned.
Harry pushed his way past the group when seeing his daughter. Both of them smiled to each other. The father hugged his daughter through the gaps of the cell door. Cupping her face, he looked at her face. it broke his heart to see the bruises on her face. But the fact that she was alive and in his hands was enough for him.
Retracting his hands, he walked to the chain. "Stand back." He told his daughter before lifting the heavy cell door. He lifted it all the way till he heard a click as the hook attached to it. Harry's smile widened as he could now fully embrace his child for the first time in forever.
He kissed the side of her face. The others smiled at their moment… except Killer Frost who looked like she was gonna vomit.
"I'm here." Harry said, kissing the side of her head. He pulled out of the hug. "Come on, let's get you out of here." He grabbed hold of the chain, pulling on it with all of his might. When he couldn't pull it off, he turned to the icy metahuman. "Frost?"
She looked surprised. Cisco faced her too. "A little help?"
"Not part of the deal." She shook her head.
"Frost!" Harry shouted, his booming voice having little effect on the cold-hearted metahuman.
Matt looked to her. "Neither was bringing us up here, Ice Queen, but here we are. Something tells me you're not as cold as I thought you were."
"Maybe, maybe not." Killer Frost walked forward. Passing by the armored mutant, she tapped on his chest. "Is that nothing but a fancy suit, because I remember you having weapons yourself."
"True but changing the output of my weapons is a bitch. So, yours is the safest option, unless Wells wants a one-armed daughter." Matt joked.
"Stark, stay away." Harry growled, worried he might be serious about dismembering his daughter.
Killer Frost chuckled as she grabbed the chain. With extreme ease, she froze the chain restraining Harry's daughter. Knowing the density of the metal now had the same density as ice, she clenched her hands and the frozen metal shattered.
Without facing either of the Wells members, she walked away and looked to the others. Gesturing to the speedster's cage, she asked the armored mutant. "You wanna handle that one, or let the lady do all the heavy lifting?"
"Might as well take care of this one." Matt said and faced the glass. "Barry stand back." The speedster obliged, stepping away from the glass, while the mutant opened a panel on the back of his right hand. Aiming it the glass cell, he shot out a concentrated laser beam at the wall.
Surprise came over them when they saw the laser was incapable of melting through the glass. "What the hell?" Matt said pulling back his hand and scanned his laser.
"My turn." Killer Frost walked to the cell, slamming both hands to the glass. She sent out a cold wave, but her ice didn't freeze the wall. Trying a second time, she got the same annoying result. Annoyingly she attempted a third time.
"What's going on? Why- Why isn't it working?" The detective asked the icy metahuman.
"I don't know." Killer Frost answered. "I've never had this problem before."
"Matt can't Jarvis scan the cell or something?" Cisco asked.
Already a few steps ahead of his friend, Matt is already in the process of scanning the glass cell. "Can't find anything, it's not a material that my scanners seen before. Must be unique to this Earth."
"Dr. Wells?" The speedster asked the Earth-2 scientist.
Pulling out of the embrace with his daughter, Harrison Wells walked to the glass cell. He examined the glass. "Carbyne. It's some form of carbyne. This cell's made out of some form of carbyne. You'll never be able to freeze him out of there. Stark's laser won't do any better."
"Carbyne can stop heat and cold attacks?" Matt asked. Harry nodded.
"Must have made this one after your friend froze his cell." Killer Frost said with a distortive voice.
Matt groaned. "Fuck…"
Cisco asked him. "You can't phase out of there?" Barry shook his head.
"… Just go, all right?" Barry pleaded. "Before Zoom comes back. Get away, find Seth and get off this Earth."
"We're not leaving you here." Cisco defiantly said.
Barry shook head, getting closer to the glass cell. "I can't get out of this cell. I've tried… a lot. I'm not fast enough to phase through this. You got… just leave all right?"
"You're the fucking bastard who ran through time itself, you moron." Matt said. "You're really bitching now, saying you're not fast enough?" He said in the same level of disbelief that the others felt.
"I've tried, Matt…. But I can't… Just leave." The Scarlet Speedster said again.
The Earth-1 engineer looked to Matt. "Matt your cannons, you can blast the cell to pieces, right?"
"Yeah, maybe." The mutant said. "If I concentrate all of my blasters on a single point, I might be able to tear the whole thing down, sure. But it could also send the pieces flying and hit Barry. He'd be the Scarlet Pin Cushion in that case."
But while they were talking, Earth-2 Barry rushed forward. "Do you know what we did to get here, Barry? We convinced her…" He pointed to the icy metahuman. "Killer Frost… to show us the way. Then we climbed some insanely steep cliffs outside on footholds made of ice… Ice! And all of us risked our lives, knowing Zoom was after us, to rescue Jesse… and you and Seth…" He chuckled lightly. "Now, I don't know you, and you don't know me, but I know we know a guy who was in a situation like you. He had to overcome himself, change himself and fight through something that hurt in the past… he made something completely unnatural, inside of his body, bend to his will, even though he didn't have the best experience with it in the past. He just decided to… stick it to his past self, I guess."
"Right here, right now… I can tell you have to do the same… I mean… I-I did things that I never thought possible, because I needed to prove to my friend, to my wife and to myself that I could." Barry said before gaining a steadfast expression. "Now, if I can do the impossible today, so can you." His more heroic doppelganger looked skeptical. "I'm just Barry Allen, but you're The Flash."
The two Barry Allens shared a look.
Earth-2 Barry said. "If you tell yourself you can phase out of there, you'll do it."
Earth-1 Barry closed his eyes… raising his hand, making it turn into a blur, and placed it on the glass before him… pressing it against the glass, he opened his eyes…
His phasing hand on the other side of the glass…
The others walked to the sides, making way for the speedster to step forward and phase his way through the glass. The moment he passed through it he almost fell to his knees, but Matt and Cisco held him up. Both laughed at his success.
"Okay, let's go." Cisco stated. "Go, come on."
"Wait, what about this guy?!" Matt pointed to the masked prisoner. "I think no one will miss Bliss."
"Right on that." Killer Frost nodded; she wouldn't lose sleep over him.
"We're not leaving him." Barry adamantly said, pointing to the masked prisoner.
Harry snapped to them. "Barry, Stark, there's no time!"
WHOOSH
"He's not going anywhere, and neither are any of you." Zoom announced his presence.
Before any of them could move or even utter a word, they felt an invisible force come over them. The invisible force slowly grew, almost making them fall to their knees.
"W-What now?!" Harry shouted through gritted teeth; his arms wrapped tightly around his daughter.
Zoom chuckled at his words while a muffled groan came from above him. Descending slowly, Orion revealed himself. The sight of his stitched mouth turned the stomachs of the Earth-1 people.
Iris saw him, growing fear. "Orion!" She said as both her and her husband dropped to their knees when the telekinetic increased his powers.
"What is he?" Earth-1 Barry shouted, he didn't see the metahuman do anything with his hands, not making any gesture whatsoever and effortlessly pinning them to the ground.
"T-T-Telekinetic!" Earth-2 Barry replied fumblingly.
"Powerful enough to twist, bend and break anyone of you." Zoom cackled. He turned to the one metahuman who is unaffected by the telekinetic gravity-like hold. "Thank you for bringing them to me."
Iris tried to raise her firearm, but it broke into pieces before her eyes.
While his head was pinned to the ground, Cisco turned to her in disbelief. "You double-crossed us?!" Killer Frost looked at him unflinchingly. "He killed Ronnie!"
Emotionlessly she said. "Guess my heart is as cold as you thought after all."
"I can't believe you!" He shouted. "Just so you know, you would be very disappointed in you right now." He alluded to her doppelganger.
Barry pointed his eyes to him. "Zoom… Let them go." He groaned.
Harry nodded. "All you need is me and Barry!" He said through the pain.
"You're right." Zoom agreed. "I may not be able to kill you yet, but I can kill them." Before they had time to be horrified by his words, the evil speedster sped forward. Standing in front of her previous cell with Jesse in hand.
"No, no! No…" Jesse chanted in fear.
Zoom smiled. "I told you I'd kill you in front of your father."
"Like hell!" Matt shouted, forcing himself back to his feet. Orion and Zoom turned surprised by that sight. The evil telekinetic clenched his hand, bringing down more force on the nanite mutant's body.
But the mutant didn't fall to the ground. He looked up at the telekinetic, wounds opening up on his face and blood sipped out of them. "You might be good, Orion… but not the best… I married her and you're a joke compared to her!" Uncrossing his arms, panels on his back opened and shot out levitating cannons. Each of them flipped open and pointed at the telekinetic.
At the moment, Nathan pointed his eye to his former crewmember. Despite being together for a very long time since he was very young… Rajeet mercilessly killed his circus doctor. Mr. Bliss wasn't going to let that go without punishment.
Making eye contact with him he invoked his powers and Orion's eyes widened in fear… as he saw a large demonic being appearing before his eyes in a smoke miasma and wrapping around his form. The fear erupting the evil telekinetic made his control waver, releasing the hold on the ones in front of him.
Using that moment of distraction, Iron Knight locked onto him. "Go to hell, bitch!" Matt shouted as energy quickly converged to his arc reactor before shooting an unibeam. Together with his levitating cannons, he unleashed five beams at Orion. Rajeet couldn't dodge or block them, and was forced take on the energy attacks, sending him flying and into the ceiling.
With his telekinetic hold on them completely gone, the others managed to get back on his feet. Matt snapped around to face Zoom, the wounds on his body healing while his cannons faced the evil speedster. "Your turn, Zoom…" He sneered.
Zoom cackled as though it was the worst joke in the multiverse. "Bring-"
Before the speedster could finish his sentence, Zoom was pushed back, hurled into the cell behind him by an ice blast. Turning to the source, they saw Killer Frost retract her arms. She walked towards the evil speedster with a defiant look, mixed with determination. "Get out of here." She echoingly said.
"What the what?" Matt asked while recalling the cannons back into his armor.
Killer Frost lashed out her hands, unleashing another ice blast, her ice pinning the evil speedster to the ground.
Cisco blinked his disbelief. "Caitlin…" He thinks he just saw more of his Caitlin in Killer Frost.
"You were right." Killer Frost admitted. "He killed Ronnie." This evil speedster tore out the piece that her boyfriend Ronnie resided in. She might be cold, but she couldn't let that slide so easily.
"Thank you." Cisco expressed as he followed Harry and Iris and Barry-2.
"Wait, what about this guy?" Matt asked, pointing to the masked prisoner again.
"We're not leaving without him!" The speedster shouted.
Harry snapped around, trying to change the speedster's mind. "Guys, there's no time! There's no time!"
The ice cage that held Zoom was slowly breaking into pieces despite Killer Frost continuously unleashing her ice stream. "I can't hold him forever."
"Fuck!" Matt shouted.
"Hey," Barry got the prisoner's attention. "I'm coming back for you when this is over, all right?" The masked prisoner accepted that with a series of urgent nodding. "I'm coming back!"
"Hey mutant?!" Caitlin-2 got Matt's attention. She gave him a soft smile. "Say hi to Seth for me, would ya?"
"Will do." Matt assured her.
Her smile faded. "Go!"
They nodded. Barry used his superspeed, speeding away out of the lair with ones he could carry.
Killer Frost intensified the ice coming out of her hands, unleashing a blizzard at the evil speedster. But the small ice mountain before her eyes was breaking off into pieces slowly. "Guess this is it…" She smiled to herself.
At least… this way, she'd see Ronnie again.
But she snapped out of her thoughts when she felt a hand grab her shoulder. Her eyes widened when seeing Seth there. "You?" She stated her disbelief.
"What? You don't like me anymore?" Seth feigned hurt. "Here I thought you and I had a real connection, Cait." He looked past her and saw Zoom encaged in ice. "Looks like not he's getting a "Best Boss" mug."
"One way to put it, yeah." Killer Frost turned back to the evil speedster. "Go, I'll hold him off."
"Nope." Seth said.
Killer Frost looked back to him again, this time with anger. But the anger on her face faded when she saw something strange looking back at her…
Herself?

(Earth-2, S.T.A.R. Labs)
In the Breach Room, Caitlin Snow of this world found herself paralyzed in fear as she, her daughters and the psychic tried to work on the damaged Speed Cannon. Joe and Iris stood behind, letting the scientists do the work. After experiencing Geomancer's attacks, the breach was destabilized again.
It was an issue that they had to fix fast, otherwise their loved ones would never gonna be able to come back.
Jay worked on the Speed Cannon before. Examining it once more, he found out that the jolt disrupted the quark matter. The electromagnetic insulators are failing. None of them knew if it'd be possible to fix it in time for their friends to return.
Now they were all worried.
Olivia stood on the platform, holding up a psychic wall to shield them from the massive sparks.
Caitlin looked at the damaged Speed Cannon that kept sparking violently. "Jay, we need to do something."
"We can help out too, Mom." Frankie suggested for her and her sisters.
"No!" Caitlin objected. "We don't know what might happen with the Speed Cannon in its current state. Worst case scenario: you could be pulled into the breach and shot into Earth-2."
"Yeah, I'm up for helping Uncle Matt and Dad anytime, but I ain't up for a second visit to Earth-2." Ruby quipped.
"Agreed." Evelyn nodded. "But you know Harry, Jesse, Cisco and Barry are there too, right?"
"I wouldn't lost sleep over them." Ruby flatly said. She looked back to the platform, focusing them on the powerless speedster. "Garrick, you got something that could help us out?"
"Maybe." Jay faced the cannon. "Our only chance is to reboot the electromagnetic insulators and hope the quark matter redistributes equally."
Iris looked to him. "How do we do that?"
"We have to do it manually." Jay said.
While holding up the psychic barrier, Olivia said. "That doesn't sound like the smartest idea."
"It's not." Caitlin told them, but parts of her strongly directed it to her daughters. "You can't be near the stabilizer rings when they power on, or you'll get sucked into the breach." She hated to sound like a broken record, but that's part of being a parent. Or at least that's what she told herself.
"Not if I create a vortex to counteract the pull." Jay countered.
"You can't do both at the same time." Caitlin argued.
"Think you need to add a third item on that list, Caity!" Olivia said, nodding to the shaking stabilizer rings. "Those things look like they're about to fly off. They need to be held down!"
"That's impossible alone." Iris said.
"They're not alone, I'll help them." Joe stated.
"What? Dad, no." Iris walked closer to him.
"Look, if it brings Barry back to this Earth, I'm doing it." Joe adamantly said.
"Sure about that, Uncle Joe?" Frankie inquired.
"Sweetie, the more we talk about it, the less sure I'll be, so let's just do it." Joe said.
Jay nodded as he and Joe stepped ahead, walking down the platform. "There's an override switch on every stabilizer ring." He pointed to the nearest visible switch on the closest stabilizer ring. "And you should flip all of them. They should all reboot."
"Got it." Joe nodded.
"What about the rings? Will the switches even work if they're shaking like maracas?" Frankie asked.
"Probably not." Jay realized.
"Great." Evelyn said.
"Girls…" Caitlin got her daughters' attention. She didn't want to ask them to help because two of them experienced a hellish time on Earth-2.
As if she could read her mind, Ruby smiled. "We can help, Mom." That didn't seem to ease Caitlin's mind.
"We can help out, Mom. Trust us. We're afraid, but our family's on the other side." Evelyn added.
"Let us help…" Frankie continued.
Caitlin knew she couldn't stop them. "Girls, before your Uncle Joe can press those switches; they need to be held up. Yours powers come in handy, you can hold them up without being near them. Take a ring each, hold them down and make sure they're straightened."
"What about that fourth?" Joe asked.
"I'll take that one." Olivia brought down the wall before walking down the platform, standing beside her nieces. "Think the biggest sparks are over with, so I can handle that last one."
"Once they're done, you power up the cannon." Jay directed to Iris and Caitlin. "The breach should stabilize. The moment Joe pull the override switches, the rings should hold themselves up."
"And what if it doesn't?" Iris had to ask.
As he could still feel the residual Velocity-9 in his system, Jay rolled his shoulder and zipping up his jacket. "We're all out of luck." He said.
"You Earth-2 people really aren't optimists." Olivia noted.
"Except for Evelyn, she's a kleptomaniac." Ruby sniped.
"Be careful you guys." Iris told them.
"We're Furys, Iris." Olivia smirked, her eyes shrouding with psychic energy. "We're never careful."
Jay smiled before speeding ahead, running around the flickering breach in a vortex formation. The speedster quickly turned into a blur, the lightning emanating from his body forming a vortex of yellow lightning.
Thrusting out her hands, Olivia enveloped the nearest ring in psychic energy. With subtle moments, careful not to break it, she forced the stabilizer ring to stand straight.
Joe rushed to that ring, finding the override switch and pulled it.
Frankie's eyes lifted her hands, entire body enveloped by her "other", as she used her magnekinetic powers to hold up the second stabilizer ring. When she was sure that the ring was straightened, she nodded her approval to the detective.
Thanking with a nod of his own, Joe rushed to the second ring. Finding the switch, he pulled it.
Caitlin saw that two rings were powered on.
Ruby glared at the third stabilizer ring. She brought up her hands, the ground shaking for a moment before she focused her gravitational powers on the ring to bring it up. Twisting her hands, she straightened the ring as much as she could.
Joe saw it and ran to it. Quickly finding the switch, he pulled on it.
Caitlin saw the scans of Jay's body. "The Velocity-9's running out."
Evelyn inhaled sharply, her entire body emanating light and darkness with a mixed shine. The moment the moon markings had formed, she flexed her hands and shot out tendrils of smoky darkness. They traveled through the air before wrapping around the fourth stabilizer ring, gently straightening it till it stood upright.
Joe rushed to the fourth ring. The pull on this one was different, a lot stronger than with the previous ones. He had to hold onto the ring itself to not get pulled into the breach and end up on Earth-2.
Suddenly a tendril of smokey darkness wrapped around him, helping him to hold onto the breach. Joe shot Evelyn a gratuitous look before stretching out his arm, trying to reach for the last override switch. His fingers grazed it, and at that moment, Joe pushed himself, grabbed the switch, and pulled on them.
Caitlin saw all four rings light up and pulled the lever. Jay stopped running, Evelyn pulled Joe back, and the flickering breach stopped flickering and returned to its normal state as an open gateway to another Earth.
Jay fell to his knees. Caitlin rushed to her daughters. Iris ran to her father. Olivia turned to the powerless speedster. "Not bad, Garrick." She praised him, helping him back up to his feet.
He chuckled before looking to Caitlin. "I guess now we know how long the Velocity-9 lasts."
"Are you okay?" Iris asked her father.
"Yeah." Joe managed to get up on his feet, pointing to Evelyn. "Thanks to Evie, anyway."
"Stop it." Evelyn blushed, hiding her face in her mother's clothes.
"Proud of you guys." Caitlin tightened her arms around her daughters, bringing them close. "So, so proud. And I'm glad you guys are okay."
"Thanks." Frankie looked to the breach. "Hope the rest are, too."

(Earth-2, S.T.A.R. Labs)
Everyone had managed to get back to S.T.A.R. Labs, waiting in the Cortex of the facility as they waited for Harrison Wells and Barry from Earth-1. They were all riled up from what happened back at Zoom's lair. But some of them are enraged.
"Goddamn it!" Matt punched a monitor, his entire armored arm shattering the screen and paving through it. "Damn it!"
"Matt, calm down!" Cisco told him.
"I can't, Cisco!" Matt shouted, pulling his arm out of the shattered monitor he faced him. "I promised my wife, my nieces, their mother, that I'd find Seth. But I couldn't find that annoying dick anywhere."
"You know Seth?" Jesse asked.
Cisco arched an eyebrow, looking to the native detective. "How much of an impact did Seth have on this Earth?"
"Pretty big one." Iris answered sheepishly.
"Pretty, pretty big one." Her husband added.
Scoffing at their words, Matt let out in a huff. "Despite that impact, he's absolutely nowhere to be found on this deadbeat city." He looked to the natives. "Sorry, didn't mean to insult your home."
"More people leave the city because of Zoom and the metas roaming around, so you don't have much to apologize for, Matt." Iris confessed.
"But what are you gonna do with Seth still here?" Barry inquired.
"I'm gonna stay here." Matt shocked them. Before they could question his decision, he stated. "I'm not going back to Earth-1 without Seth. Just for a while, I'm gonna stay here, find him and haul his ass back to Earth-1."
"What if you can't?" Jesse said.
"She's got a point." Cisco said. "You have a wife waiting on the other end of that breach. Don't you want to go back to her?"
"Of course… But I can't fail her." Matt said.
WHOOSH
Barry and Harrison Wells arrived in the area. Patting each other, the speedster walked to his doppelganger who struggled with his bowtie. "I'm fine. I'm just a mess." Barry-2 told his wife while straightening his bowtie.
"You guys need to get out of Central City, all right?" Barry-1 told them while Jesse and Harry hugged. "Any place you think you'll be safe from Zoom."
"Yeah, we…" Iris chuckled with realization. "Actually, Seth made sure that if we had trouble, we could go to a friend of ours in Atlantis that can help us out."
"Really?" The speedster asked with surprise.
"Yeah, he did." Barry-2 chuckled. "Great guy when you get used to him."
"Wow your experience with him is so different than mine." The speedster confessed. He made eye contact with his doppelganger. "You may not have been struck by lightning over here like I was, but today, you risked your life to save somebody you didn't even know. That's a hero, Barry." He looked to them both. "Thank you both."
"Barry…" Iris got his attention. "Is my father… is he okay on your Earth? He's not hurt, is he?"
"He's okay, he's not hurt, Iris." Barry assured her.
"Give him a hug for me, will you? And maybe tell him to lay off the scotch too." Iris cheekily added.
Chuckling at her joke, Barry said. "I will." While Harry managed to get off the cuff on Jesse's wrist, the speedster turned to Matt. "Matt what about Seth? We gotta find him."
"I've looked in this city, Barr. But he's not here. Chances were that he would be at Zoom's lair, but that was a big bust. So, what now? I… I'll stay behind and find him." Matt confessed.
"Not a good idea, man." Cisco stated.
"I have to…" Matt gritted his teeth. "I don't know what else to do."
"What if Seth already found his way back to your Earth?" Iris suggested. "Before you guys closed your breathes."
"You saw the scans back at Barry's lab, and you heard Killer Frost before too… He's here, but where." Matt punched the nearest board.
"But we have to get back." Barry told him urgently before sprinting to Harry and his daughter. "Hey. You guys need to get someplace safe too. Where are you going?"
Harry rubbed his face; he didn't have to think hard about that one. "The only place we can." The others knew what that meant: Back to Earth-1 with them. He walked into another separate lab.
Jesse followed him. "Dad, we can't just leave."
"We have to, honey." Harry said, pulling off his rifle.
She looked at him disbelief. "What, you want me to leave everything I have here? My friends, my family… I mean, my life."
Snapping to her, Harry clarified. "You don't have a life here anymore. Either do I. Zoom is too powerful. I can't stop him. And as long as he is here, he's gonna hunt us down until we're dead."
"Seth might be able to help." She suggested.
"Honey, I'd never trust your life in the hands of another. Especially when I don't even know the guy." Harry instantly said.
"What's the plan then?" Cisco asked.
"We go back to Earth-1." Matt looked to argue, but Barry stopped him. "Matt, I know. Trust me, I want Seth back too, but…. Zoom's gonna hunt us now. We can't fight him; we can't defeat him."
The proximity alarms blared over their heads, a metahuman has been detected. And it wasn't hard to figure out who it was.
Barry looked between Matt and Harry. "Guys… if you're going with us, we have to go."
"… Not like we have a choice now, I guess." Matt muttered, looking at the exit of the office. But in all honesty, he was looking at the world of Earth-2. "Sorry, Seth. But we're getting you back, I swear."
"We're not closing the breach then…" Barry affirmed.
"Allen." Harry growled.
"Seth is our friend, too. We didn't send you alone to fight him, we're not letting Seth fight him alone either. End of story." Barry said before they walked towards the breach, the Earth-2 couple long gone already.
When getting to the Breach Room, Barry grabbed hold of Jesse and Cisco before speeding into the breach.
Harry looked to the nanite mutant. "Sorry, Stark."
"We're keeping this breach open!" Matt growled. "I'm not leaving my best friend on this Earth any longer… he's my brother and I won't let him be here anymore."
Nodding as though he understood him, Harry said. "We'll-"
WHOOSH
But he was cut off when the evil speedster grabbed hold of him and held Harrison high up in the air. Matt spun around to face him just as Barry appeared out of the breach behind him. The metahuman and mutant saw Zoom hold their friend high up with one hand.
"Forgetting someone, Knight, Flash?" Zoom sarcastically said.
"Put him down!" Matt pointed his repulsors at him, his head immediately covered by his helmet.
"Let him go!" Barry sneered.
Harry lifted his eyes. "Close the breach…" Both of the powered beings shook their heads. "Tell Jesse I love her." He revealed a needle in his right hand. Discreetly switching it to his left hand.
"Can't do that, Wells." Matt shook his head, his HUD locking onto the evil metahuman.
"You tell her yourself." Barry said back.
Grunting, Harry jammed the needle into Zoom's chest, making him howl in pain. "ARGH!" Barry sped, plucking Harrison Wells out of his hand before speeding into the breach.
Matt flexed his shoulders, panels opening up and shooting out small missiles. They flew towards the evil speedster, exploding upon contact with his body and hurled him into the small staircase. "Later, Bitch!" The nanite mutant spun around, flying into the breach behind him.
Zoom looked up from the ground, pulling the needle out of his chest before speeding into the breach himself.
A few seconds later, another figure appeared on the platform. Holding up his weapon as though it's a javelin.
X
(Earth-1, Breach Room)
"It shouldn't be taking this long." Cisco said after he and Jesse, as the first to come out of the breach, and the others awaited the last ones to return.
"Cisco…" Caitlin looked hopeful to him, her daughters joining him.
Jay held a breach implosion reactor tightly in his hands, standing close to the Speed Cannon, while the native engineer answered regrettably. "Matt looked everywhere for him, but he couldn't find him. He's still on their Earth, in Central City."
"You couldn't find Dad?" Frankie asked, fighting back tears.
"I'm sorry, Frankie. Caitlin…" Cisco apologized. "But we'll help him."
"We will!" Caitlin affirmed with a loud voice. "We're not closing that breach if he's not here."
Facing her with a sour expression, Jay said. "Caitlin, we might not have a choice."
"If not all our people are back, that damn breach's staying open!" Joe stated.
"They're part of the team, we don't leave anyone behind." Iris agreed with her father.
The breach opened up. Barry and Harry sped out of it.
Olivia looked at them while they faced the breach. "Where's Matt?!"
"Right here!" Matt himself announced as he appeared out of the breach, jumping into the air and pointing his repulsors at the interdimensional gate. "Didn't think you could get rid of me, did you?"
"For a hot sec, yeah, but I doubted it." She quipped.
"Sorry I couldn't find Seth. But-"
Harry cut him, shouting to the powerless speedster. "Close it! Close it now, Garrick!"
Seeing red for a moment that seemed to last an eternity, she looked to them. "NO!" Caitlin screamed as Jay obliged to his orders and threw the breach implosion reactor. The device passed through the breach.
"No!" Caitlin rushed forward, intent of running into the breach itself. But Joe and Barry stopped her.
"Caitlin, don't!" Barry told her.
The powerless speedster walked up the small stairs to examine the breach.
Caitlin panted, fighting back tears herself. Glaring at Harry, she shouted. "What'd you do?!"
"What I had to do, Snow." Harry said back emotionlessly, but he did wear regret in his eyes.
"Fucking bastards!" Olivia shouted. "My brother's on the other side!" Her body shot up psychic energy like water out of a geyser.
"I'm sorry…" Harry trailed off.
Evelyn had to stop her sisters with a hug as they both took out weapons, both of them intent on slaughtering the Earth-2 scientist for what he just did. If she had to honest to herself, she was no different. For more than a year, Frankie thought their father was gone and had to shoulder all of that pain and grief. Ruby and herself wanted to learn more about their father. They wanted to be with their entire family. Wake up in the same house together, eat together at the same dinner table, hear great stories from both of them… They wanted to really be Seth and Caitlin's daughters…
To be the Snow-Fury family… but now because Jay and Harry…
They'd never get that chance.
A regretful expression forming on his face, Jay looked to them. "I'm sorry, guys but-"
PIERCE
…
…
Slowly, their heads trailed down… and saw… a clawed hand… sticking out of his chest… out of Jay's chest… blue lightning running over the claws… over the device in the hand.
Their eyes expanded to new limits when they saw Jay's body go limp… before….
Harry looked at the device in the clawed hand, the same one he developed on this Earth. "The breach implosion device."
Slowly, Zoom appeared out of the breach, cackling as he saw the terrified eyes of the people in front of him. Like he was cracking a nut with his hands, he effortlessly crushed the breach implosion device with his claws. Narrowing his eyes while forming a smile on his face, he threw Jay Garrick's dead body over his shoulder and into the breach.
While the blue lightning pulsated over his body, Zoom walked down the stairs. "You thought you could defeat me!" He growled.
He looked ahead, staring at Caitlin constrained by Joe and Barry. A wide grin came over his face. Speeding ahead, slamming into the two men, hurling them away from the doctor, who fell to his knees. "One more to die before your eyes…"
Watching with tears stinging her eyes, blurring her vision slightly, she saw him raise his right hand and flexed his claws, lightning coursing over each clawed digit as though it was becoming one with the azure-blue lightning emanating from his body.
"Mom, no!" Frankie rushed to the railing, about to jump over it with her sisters. Matt's repulsors shined.
But something appeared in the breach… a shine… before something came out of the breach… like a harpoon…
PIERCE
A smokescreen appeared near the Breach Room entrance on the platform, drawing the attention of everyone to look at it and saw the smokescreen slowly dissipate. Their eyes widening tidal waves of both confusion and shock at the sight of a familiar… weapon…
A multicolored crystal sword with a demon-like handle… embedded in the wall…
"What the hell?" Iris said.
"ARGH!" Zoom screamed, getting their attention aside from two of the Fury sisters. He held the back of his bleeding hand, an open wound leaking blood.
Cisco, Harry, Joe and Iris gaped their mouth in shock. This was possibly the first time they saw Zoom bleed. Matt and Olivia was shocked to see the evil speedster in pain.
"What was that…" Frankie asked, but she was thankful that the weapon came flying as it saved her mother.
"That weapon…" Evelyn couldn't help but smile in happiness.
Ruby formed a smile herself. "It's him." She swung her head to the breach. "IT'S HIM!" She screamed.
Snapping his head up, Zoom narrowed his eyes on the weapon. "NO-"
He was cut off when a lightning coated metal foot slammed into the side of his face. The strike sent the evil speedster flying and into a wall, which cracked right open from the metahuman embedding into it. Smoke erupted from it, followed quickly by metal debris.
For the first time since her friends came out of the breach… Caitlin could finally breathe… She felt her tears blowing away from the gust of wind that followed the strike that brought the metahuman into the wall. Shaking her head… looking up…
She gasped at the sight.
Standing in front of her… Lowering his adamantium foot which turned back to normal… his body clad in black pants, white shirt… and a brown suede leather trenchcoat flapping in the air…
Pointing his emotionless blue eyes at the evil speedster…. Seth Fury uttered his first words back on his home turf….
"You're not touching anyone I love here, Zoom!" Seth shouted, glaring at Zoom while standing in front of his girlfriend like a humongous lion defending its home and its family.
And that lion… was a Lethal Protector… facing the speed demon of Earth-2 Central City.
To be continued…
And that's a chapter, peeps!
He finally returned home. Seth Fury stayed away from his friends on Earth-2 who searched for him, Barry-1 and Jesse after he got out of the thunderous portal that he was trapped in. Near the end, he returned with his crystal sword hurled like a harpoon and stopping Zoom from killing Caitlin. He jumped through the breach, kicked the evil speedster away.
The group on Earth-2, consisting of Matt, Cisco and Harry had to get help from both Iris-2 and Barry-2 to find their friends. To find Zoom's lair, they had to seek out the aid of Killer Frost, who lost her loved one to Zoom for disobedience. They assumed she'd help out, both because of Zoom's actions but also to repay Seth.
She did and led them to Ascensions Cliffs. And Seth watched them from afar.
In his cell in the lair, Barry tried to phase his way out of the cell but he couldn't go fast enough because of the different frequencies between their Earths. He thought he could do it as Zoom did it before giving the Scarlet Speedster a beatdown as punishment.
And all the while he did that, the mangled ringmaster kept throwing off comments to amuse himself.
As they did so, the team back on Earth-1 had to deal with Geomancer. He weakened five of the heroes after he sent out a quake to a hospital building as they had to rescue every single patient and the citizens surrounding the hospital building.
But it did have its downsides… The evil metahuman's attack shook and damaged the Speed Cannon. And while still damaged, the breach is unstable to allow anyone to travel through it.
When they finally managed to stabilize it, the team on Earth-2 had troubles of their own as they made their way to the lair. They walked into the lair after an ice bridge was made for them. Finding Jesse and Barry, they were about leave. But Killer Frost double-crossed them, bringing them right to Zoom and Orion. Zoom took hold of Jesse, keeping his promise to the innocent girl.
Matt's unibeam managed to incapacitate the evil telekinetic and Killer Frost showed her true colors and saved them, incasing her former boss in a cage of ice as the others escaped. They managed to get away and Killer Frost turned around, seeing Seth and something else.
Perhaps this had something to due with Eye Sight's call from a certain someone.
The group returns to S.T.A.R. Labs-2, making their way to the breach under the facility. They travel through it and much to the Earth-1 and Earth-616 people, Harry and Jay intended to close the Speed Cannon breach with a breach implosion reactor before Seth could return. This action enraged everyone.
But Zoom caught the reactor keeping it from closing the breach, and killed Jay Garrick once and for all.
And Seth returned… itching for a battle again on his home turf.
Stay tuned and find out what happens next.
Until next time, peeps!
