"It's Morning! Rise and shine!" A woman's voice calls from down the hallway of her apartment. She had green hair and green eyes to match. She was short and mildly chubby, wearing a white undershirt and a pink over shirt. "Early bird catches-"

"The worm!" Her green haired son cuts her off, he was the one she called to after all. He, Izuku, had been through this routine many times over, so he knew what to say and when to say it. "We'll be right out!" Izuku leans up in his bed, letting out a long yawn as he happily peers at his All Might collectibles. Then, he peers down at the floor beside his bed. And there, laying on the ground huddled up in his soft blankets, was Kokei Kyōryokuna.

Kokei's eyes were wide open, they had been for a few hours prior to Izuku first waking. His eyes were tinted with red from both lack of sleep and crying. During the night, he tried to keep his weeps to a minimum but at times, when he remembered his mother in such detail, it was impossible to stop. Kokei had been living with the Midoriya's ever since Sobokuna's unfortunate passing. Kokei had no other caretakers, so Inko Midoriya, Izuku's mom, volunteered.

It had been a week or two since then, Kokei didn't even fully unpack all the things he brought with him from his old home. He just kept them all in boxes and whelped in his own sorrow. But it wasn't just Kokei who was grieving, many people from U.A. were as well.

Recently, the dead body of Neito Monoma, as well as Native and the Hero Killer: Stain, corpse were discovered in Sanjuro city. The story was created entailed Stain killing Native, and Neito was unfortunate enough to come by there during the time. Then, after they were both dead, Stain died by being inside a collapsing building. Quite the blood bath.

"Hey, Kokei, you awake yet?" Izuku whispers in case Kokei was still sleeping.

Kokei sniffles, "yeah."

Izuku slowly nods, "wanna go get breakfast?"

Kokei slowly breathes, "no."

Izuku weakly smiles, "okay, I'll stay with you, then."

Kokei shakes his head, "no, don't let me hold you back."

Izuku sighs, "alright, alright. But you will eat later, it's good for you."

Kokei shrugs, "okay."

Izuku clears his throat, "good." With that, Izuku stands up and gets out of his bed, avoiding stepping on Kokei as he leaves his room. He slowly opens the door, steps through, and closes it behind him. Leaving Kokei laying on the ground within the dimly lit bedroom.

Kokei shifts onto his back, pressing his head against the pillow. Until, someone spoke to him. "So, you just gonna weep all day?" The voice was familiar, and Kokei knew who it was immediately.

'Screw you, Stain, you did this.' Kokei thinks, the voice was coming from his mind. This was due to Kokei taking back both the quirks his prey, Stain, had after he was dead.

"And to think, i really was correct! I knew there was something wrong with you!" Neito shouts, but suddenly his mouth is warped in such a way that he couldn't speak any longer. It was Kokei's doing, he had muted him.

'Don't forget i killed you both.' Kokei threatens, under his blankets he had both his hands balled into fists.

"Mhm, you're real cool." Stain mocks with a grin.

"Shut up, villain." Shihai says, disgusted. "You killed the guy's mother, yet you still want more. Sick, man, just sick."

Neito awes at Shihai, obviously wanting to say something to him. Kokei sighs as he unmutes Neito, allowing him to speak again. "He killed you too, Shihai? Jesus, Kokei, have you no mercy? How many people are in here?"

'5, i believe.' Kokei answers.

"And there are many yet to come." All for One announces, "he has been doing an impressive job. I only expect more great things."

Kokei shivers, 'mom..'

"I don't get it. If you miss your mom so much, why didn't you absorb her quirk and bring her here?" Jenny questions innocently, not noticing the thin ice she was on.

'I don't want her to know me, the real me. I'd rather her die with the thought of me being everything she wanted. Rather than have more time with her and see her disappointment.'

Suddenly, the bedroom door quickly opens. Izuku stood in the doorframe, "today's endurance training! I almost forgot!"

Kokei leans up somewhat, "hm..?"

"No time to explain! Just get ready!" Izuku responds, closing the door behind him. But then he abruptly opens the door again, "and bring your swimsuit!"

Kokei groans, "swimsuit?"

"I believe everyone is present!" Tenya announces, all the boys in class 1-A, except Eijiro and Katsuki, clumped together in the boys locker room. Each one of them had their swimsuits on, all mainly black with a single red and white stripe. They were part of the school uniform, so everyone had the same type.

"I can't wait to see the girls in their swimsuits!" Minoru shouts, his tongue out like a panting dog.

"Huh? Is that the real reason why you wanted to come to the pool?" Izuku questions with a pouty face.

Denki and Minoru look to one another, then at the rest of the group. "Well uh.. gotta go!" Denki and Minoru shouts, turning to the door that lead out onto the pool deck and pushing through it. The bright sunlight enters the locker room as boys 1 by 1 follow Denki and Minoru in leaving. And on the outside the locker room, all the Class 1-A girls were.. in their 1 piece swimsuits and were playing volleyball near the pool. "Noooo!" Denki shouts, falling to his knees in disappointment.

Minoru shrugs, "good enough for me."

Tenya clasps his hands together, "now, let's swim!"

Endurance training was rigorous and intense, making it hard for many to keep up. Kokei was tempted to purposely not try, but knowing that his entire class was spectating him it forced him to keep up with the pack. After around half an hour of intensive labor, the group of boys take a breather break outside the pool. Many of the boys used this time to hydrate, stretch, and/or converse with one another.

Kokei stood off by himself during this time, drinking from his water bottle and avoiding any potential conversations. He didn't want other people's pity anymore, it was constant anytime he spoke with anyone. But, while Kokei hydrated off in the corner within the shade, one of the 1-A girls walk up to him. It was Ochaco. "Hey, Kokei."

Kokei peers over at her, he didn't feel motivated to talk but he didn't want to be rude. At least now his eyes had gone back to normal and no longer were red and swelled. "Hi."

Ochaco looks down at Kokei's feet, "I'm really sorry about what happened to your mom." There it was, that pity. They were looking down on him, that's how Kokei saw it at least.

"Save your pity for someone else." Kokei responds coldly.

Ochaco gasps, "huh-?"

"You're not to blame for what happened to her, so don't apologize for it." Kokei states, 'i am.' He convinces himself while he walked away from her. After Kokei leaves, Ochaco looks to the rest of the 1-A girls and gives them a disappointed thumbs down.

Soon after, while Kokei walked around the pool deck, Katsuki and Eijiro arrive. As soon as Katsuki walked onto the pool deck, he runs up on Izuku with angry eyes. "Fight me, Deku!"

Izuku takes a few steps away from the approaching Katsuki, "n-no! I'm not fighting you!"

Tenya stands between the two, "now now, there's a more logical way to settle this." Tenya peers at the pool, then at the group of boys. "We're gonna hold a competition for the fastest 50 meters!"

And so, the boys began racing in groups of 3. The fastest in each group moved onto compete with other people who won in their groups. The races were a lot less straining than the rigorous training, and many people used their quirks to ease the work.

Kokei basically forfeited and just got in the pool during his heat against Hanata and Minoru. Kokei just floated on his back and waited for one of them to win so he could be done for the day. Needless to say, everyone on the pool deck that day definitely noticed the change in attitude Kokei underwent.

The finalists were Izuku, Katsuki and Shoto, which was bound to be an intense march up. But, Shota showed up kicked them out the pool before it could occur. And now, Kokei and Izuku walked home side by side, Kokei looking down to his feet and being silent the whole time.

"... it sucks that Shota stopped us before that final race." Izuku says, trying to lighten up the melancholy mood and start some conversation.

"Yeah." Kokei responds, using such a response as to end the talk before it started.

"I wish you would've tried, I'm sure you could've gotten to the finals too." Izuku looks to Kokei, a earnest grin on his face.

Kokei peers at Izuku, then back down to the ground. "Maybe."

Izuku nods, "cool, cool.." Suddenly, Izuku seems to look as of he remembered something. "Ah- i almost forgot! I have to go to Takoba beach!"

Kokei squints his eyes at Izuku, that beach was the same place that was cleaned up before U.A. entry started. And the place where Kokei got the punching bag that he's used for a while. "Why Takoba beach?"

Izuku rubs the back of his head, "i have to uh.. meet with someone. I'll meet you back at the house!" Izuku tells Kokei as he runs off in the direction of Takoba beach, he looked to be rushed.

"Probably has something to do with Toshinori." Kokei tells himself, then he lets out a yawn.

"Perhaps you should check in with the League soon, especially once before you go to the forest- at least." All for One suggests, to which Kokei agrees.

"Master!" Tomura loudly exclaims out of excitement, staring at the wall hologram of his leader. "It's amazing to see you! Have you heard the news?"

Kokei narrows his eyes, "the news?"

Tomura nods, "mhm, Stain's dead! He died in some collapsing building."

Kokei sighs, "oh, yeah, I've heard. So, you concocting any new plans?"

Kurogiri steps out from behind the bartenders' table. "Yes, U.A. is going to the forest this summer. We'll be paying them a visit."

Kokei leans up in his seat, 'I don't even know where we're going, do they?' Kokei scoffs, "do you even know where they're going?"

"Well.. no, that's the one thing we need left." Tomura sadly answers.

Kokei looks about, 'I'm guessing he expects me to help him.. damn, in doing this I'll be aiding villains..'

"It's not like they're going to severely hurt anyone." All for One says, "they're just bettering the league, and in turn, helping you. This entire league is already at your disposal, if you make it stronger than it makes you stronger."

Kokei stares to the ground for a few seconds, until he looks at the hologram and speaks. "Alright, when i find out I'll inform you both. I'll be placing a tracker on one of the people going, you'll both be allowed to see their location once i do this. Now, is there any point behind this or is it just more mayhem?" Kokei questions, wanting to know more behind this plan.

"Yes, we have a specific person in mind." Tomura responds, reaching over at a piece of paper on a table near him and showing it to Kokei. What was on the photo, was the winner of the freshman Sports Festival: Katsuki Bakugo. "He's erratic and has anger issues, he'd be perfect for the league."

Kokei gulps, "alright. Sounds like a plan. I'm entrusting you both to execute this plan by yourselves. I believe in you both." Tomura awes, then scratches at his neck happily. "Okay, I'm off."

"Just as a formal warning, your limits will be tested at this training camp. This will be a trying summer for you all." Shota warns the group of eager students before him, they all were outside U.A. and near the curb as they awaited the busses.

Kokei stood beside Izuku, the two of them arrived together so there was no real reason for them to separate. And, while they awaited, people began talking with one another. Momo being one of these people, walking up to Kokei and starting conversation. "Hi, Kokei."

Kokei peers at her, he wanted to ignore her and start speaking with Izuku but he was now speaking with Ochaco. "Yo."

"So.. you as excited for this trip as i am?" Momo asks, attempting to get Kokei to speak more.

Kokei shrugs, "probably not as much as you. You're much more hyper than me." Momo giggles from Kokei's comment, and he weakly smiles at her. He didn't want to be sad, he wanted to talk with her like he normally did. But his emotions just didn't allow for it.

"You're so silly, Kokei." Momo says, playfully pushing Kokei's right arm. Kokei looks down at her thighs, lewd ideas beginning to plague his mind. Unfortunately, he couldn't even go a few seconds without seeing his mother with her neck sliced open, which instantly killed his mood.

Kokei looks away from Momo, "thanks."

"But seriously, though, are you okay?" Momo asks in a more concerned tone, this must've been her true intentions.

"Yeah, I'm just- having an off day." As Kokei looked away from the girl, he noticed all of Class 1-B were just next to his class. Itsuka was acting as a type of line leader for her class.

"Aw man, not Itsuka. I'm sure she's completely depressed upon hearing that i died." Neito comments, but no one responded. Since, soon enough, the busses showed up for the classes. Allowing for both classes to board their indicated rides.

On the bus, Kokei had a window seat with Izuku sitting beside him. Unnoticeably, Kokei turns on the tracker that he had placed one his own ankle, allowing for Tomura and Kurogiri to see his location. Kokei spoke a lot more on the bus than he had spoken the entire time he'd been living with Izuku. For some reason, Kokei had lightened his mood up much more than it was before. It was like, now he was making an effort to feel something other than sadness.

Laughing and joking, for the first time in weeks, it felt like a breath of fresh air for Kokei. Even if Kokei still felt an ache in his heart and wanted to constantly sulk in misery, it was obvious that Izuku enjoyed actually speaking with his longtime friend again. It made the day and night, the more than 18 hours it took to get to their destination, go by in a jiffy. Soon enough, they were at the top of a mountain and were taking a pit stop.

One by one, the students step off the bus and stretch out their limbs. This is short lives, though, because soon after they got out 2 people presented themselves. Appearing near the edge of the cliff, two women, one pink dressed and the other blue outfitted, two young looking women pose. They both had cat-like tails attached to their dresses and had big custom made cat paws.

Shota points to the two posing women, "these will be the people training you all."

Before anyone could question who they were, Izuku quickly shouts an explanation as to who they are. "It's the Wild, Wild Pussycats: Pixie-Bob and Mandalay! They're great pro-heroes.. before the last decade-"

Suddenly, Pixie-Bob, the blue outfitted and blonde haired woman, grabs Izuku by his hair and angrily stares at him. "We're forever young!.. in our hearts."

The pink outfitted and light red haired woman, Mandalay, speaks next. "Now listen up! The forest lodge is located at the base of this mountainside." Mandalay points down near the bottom of the mountain, where a forest of thick burrowed of trees resided. "You're gonna have to hurry and get there before noon if you wanna have lunch."

Upon hearing this, many of the students rush to get back onto the bus and avoid the obvious journey of going into the forest. But, as some of the students huddle within the bus, Pixie-Bob uses her quirk to make a type of rock slide. The entire ground beneath the students, in the bus and outside, collapses and causes for them all to tumble down the mountain. Stumbling and knocking into many of the boulders and rocks along the mountain, the students eventually finally reach the bottom.

Under the treetops is where all the students now grouped up. Everyone on their guard, except for Minoru. Almost immediately, Minoru sees a beetle and runs up to it. But that beetle as no beetle at all, as soon as Minoru got close enough to it, the beetle transforms into a giant earthy golem. Minoru screams and tries to flee, but it was also faster.

Luckily, Izuku is able to use his speed and halt the monster by kicking in its face. Once it falls onto a slant, Shoto freezes it with his ice. Next up was Katsuki, who exploded the beast into crumbles. But that wasn't the only monster like that. There was an entire gang of more earth monsters, so, the class bands together to move forward in unison.

The forest fight consisted of the main fighters: Shoto, Izuku, Tenya and Katsuki. These 4 were the people leading the group, Kokei stayed near the back to be let out all his pent up frustrations on the beasts. Being seen using 'destroy' multiple times on beasts that were already defeated. And eventually, after a harsh endurance challenge, the group makes it to the other end of the forest.

The sun was now much lower in the sky, past lunchtime, since they had been in the forest for overtime. The student's school outfits were in tatters and torn up, but, they won. At the lodge, there were all the teachers that'd be training them for their time there. Shota, Mandalay and Pixie-bob. Pixie-bob was first to congratulate the bunch, "great job!" She shouts happily, though, many of them felt they didn't do as well as they wanted. "Especially you 4." Pixie-bob points out Izuku, Tenya, Shoto and Katsuki specifically. She looked somewhat seductive and eager when looking at the boys.

"U-uh, thank you." Izuku says, then, notice is taken to the small boy standing beside the pro-heroes. "Who's that?"

"This little guy's my nephew." Mandalay responds, "his name is Kota."

"Kota, huh?" Izuku confirms, walking up to the boy and giving him a warm greeting. "Hey there, Kota."

Kota says nothing, he simply stares at Izuku. Until, eventually, he punches Izuku directly in his sack. The trajectory of the attack was perfection, allowing for an excellent shot for maximum damage. And in the end, Izuku is curled up on the ground as he whimpers in pain.

"Hey, kids," Shota speaks, directing everyone's attention to him. "Get your stuff off the bus, dinner can commence after."

Then, one by one, the students eagerly rush onto the bus to grab their things so they could eat quicker. And, as he was going on the bus, Kokei received a message on the transmitter he held in his pocket. Slyly, Kokei checks what the message entailed. What was stated on the transmitter caused Kokei to shiver. 'Thank you, Master, with your help we've located the students.'
