The Ewoks would argue.

They would bicker.

They would sooner die than forsake love, they would sooner die than not love, and he would grant their wish for death.

However, for now they would suffer for not forsaking love, they'd suffer for choosing to love instead of choosing to rejoice hate.

He'd ensure they chose not to love anymore.

They would suffer for their rebellion.

"Meechoo seefo weechu sta! Weechu nuv den mo! Weechu den allayloo nuv! Akeeata arandee! Weechu, tana den che! Tana den che! Weechu den nuv! Meechoo es'eesht seefo siz ruha roda entzahee roda weechu theesa!"

The Ewoks pointed at him, shrieking their responses.

"Weechu na goo!"

"Ees nuv!"

"Den nuv dee fratta eleeo goot!"

Feral pointed at them. "Meechoo bont ehda bont azar! Weechu gunda! Meechoo yekyit weechu manna manna roda sta! Weechu hutar. Meechoo es'eesht seefo chaa chaaa theesa sta!"

"Na goo! Na goo! Gyeesh! Gyeesh den es'eesht!"

"Ees nuv! Ees nuv! Weechu den na goo ees nuv luu!"

The rebellious Ewoks were held in place with binders, shackles, ropes restraints that were part of torture mechanisms themselves, and rendered paralyzed by the infamous Geonosian containment fields, to lessen any potential opportunity for escape.

They had their fur shaved off and were imprisoned within crudely made cold, dark cells, adding to their misery. Droids taunted and mentally abused the Ewoks, smashing the bars with their guns, branches, and even went inside and beat them until four bones were broken.

More Ewoks were thrown into piles and beat with fists and feet, IT-O Interrogator droids took up a part of every perimeter, sawing and slicing Ewoks with brutal precision in public displays. Some droids pushed into sensory manipulation, sleep deprivation, forcing the Ewoks into confined spaces with extremes of hot and cold, loud noises, radiation, and anything that caused physical pain.

Taking advantage of the Ewoks acute sense of smell, droids shoved live Ewok face first into decaying Ewoks or their excrement, holding them there despite their hard struggles. Other areas were piled high with corpses and waste while the live Ewoks were forced to remain in the same space.

Psychological torture was the preferred method for most droids, as they were enthralled causing extreme mental suffering. They made sure their torture was brutal and methodical, but also combined with a display of sympathy and affection.

They called the Ewoks friends in their native tongue, and expressed regret for having to put them through the procedure.

Droid commanders were the true experts in the field. They all viewed effective interrogation as an effective system. They knew what questions to ask, in what order, when to increase the intensity, and when to pull back.

They were keen in using the threat of pain and the reward of mercy to control the Ewoks. The Ewoks suffered multiple gruesome sessions. In their minds, the ultimate failure was to allow the Ewoks to live, as they were contemptible creatures, and to that end, they pushed Ewoks too far and killed them every single time.

Any Ewoks that wished to remain rebellious after being brutalized were deprived of sleep, and forced to labor and toil without food or water.

Precise physical torture was combined with long periods of solitary confinement, which for the Ewoks, was much harder to endure than the actual torture itself most of the time. The anguish of loneliness and isolation ate away at their mind, spirit, and made them screech in plight.

Ewoks in cages were starved, and then, at the brink of death, served a meal of poison laden berries. The poison would then slowly eat their stomach lining, intestinal lining, and bladder from the inside out, until they lost control of their bowel movements, and their digestive acids burned a hole through their stomach with no barrier being left.

No Ewok was killed before the punishment could be merited, nor did they die afterwards.

Once they were done, the droids proceeded to beat the Ewoks, and didn't stop until the walls or landscape were splattered with blood.

MagnaGuards decided to toy with female Ewoks before killing them, breaking every single bone in their bodies.

Unfortunately for them, the MagnaGuards could make good on their threats.

Other, more unlucky Ewoks were subjected to chemical torture.

A gathering of Ewoks were all imprisoned in a torture facility and injected with various compounds. Tubes and needles pierced through their necks, backs, legs, and arms, making their bodies convulse in seizures as they were pumped with poison.

Two thousand Ewoks that stamped their feet were injected with a paralyzing, poisonous drug that kept them conscious, immobilized, aware of the fact they were being eaten alive from the inside out, and acutely aware that they'd be consciously aware of their slow demise.

All of the droids were equipped with diagnostic scanners that could anticipate an Ewok's loss of consciousness. With chemical injectors installed, they were able to keep the Ewoks awake and conscious during every second of their bone breaking torture.

Engineer Droids were fond of using exotic and painful pharmaceuticals to torture the Ewoks after shaving their fur and hanging them upside down for their fellows to see. The liquid was injected into the Ewoks' bodies with hundreds syringes, sending the fur-less creatures into shrieking fits as their blood boiled in their veins.

The advanced technology newer battle droid models utilized was put into full effect locating precise areas that would stimulate pain and dampen the Ewoks' endorphins, making the slightest scratch feel like pure agony, and their current level of pain unbearable.

Other droids utilized a peculiar type of poison which caused the Ewoks' flesh and fur to break out in painful rashes and fall off.

Every droid in command used their blasters set at low power to scorch the flesh and fur of Ewoks, leaving only blackened fur, popping skin, and blood-smeared bone. The droids began with a leg, immobilizing the Ewoks and making them roll on the ground.

They continued the process with other parts of their bodies, burning off their flesh and fur, layer by layer, inch by inch.

Crippled Ewoks were forced to watch, the psychological torture inevitably breaking their will. These same Ewoks were held fast by battle droids, who fired their blasters several dozen times, burning away the lower parts of their torso.

The large Ewoks fell to the ground writhing in pain, as their cowering, shrieking fellows looked on.

Droids fired another series of blaster shots at the stumps that were the Ewoks, searing off even more flesh and bone. MagnaGuards merely toyed with arm-less Ewoks, repeatedly slashing their skin with their staffs, leaving hundreds of black scorch marks on their bodies before slowly electrocuting them.

More took a liking to brutally beating and hurling about Ewoks for hours straight, while thousands of squeaking Ewoks were forced to watch the carnage before being pulled into the severe beatings. Ewok blood poured across the ground, trees, leaves, walls, floors, and even drenched the MagnaGuards and battle droids' arms and torsos as they increased the ferocity of their beatings.

Others tortured the Ewoks through powerful electric jolts, jabbing through their hands and feet as channel points. The droids kept torturing the Ewoks until they were nearly comatose or shrieking their lungs out, before throwing them in cold, dark cells.

Running Ewoks were thrown into nets, slowly and painfully sliced into tiny squares of fur, meat, and bone.

Feral ordered the droids to stop their brutality for the moment, and every furry head turned to him in terror and hope at the same time.

Feral spoke slowly. "You will not love anymore! You have no names. You are all slaves and food, nothing more. Meechoo yekyit weechu den nuv! Meechoo yekyit weechu den nuv. Den mo nuv. Meechoo es'essht. Den Nuv. Teera ehda azar!"

This greatly disturbed the Ewoks, and several hundred squeaked loudly and pointed at him.

Several hundred more jumped to their feet and began to stomp around, pacing the whole length they had while delivering impassioned, squeaky speeches.

"Ees yekyit den weechu! Ees coatee-cha nuv! Ees nuv!" Brave Ewoks spoke up, pointing at Feral with tears in their eyes.

"Den! Weechu den nuv! Weechu den nuv! Meechoo es'eesht weechu seefo! Weechu arandee sta! Eleeo nuv! Eleeo enya nuv! Weechu arandee meechoo sta! Meecho es'essht! Den Sheeu!" Feral snarled.

"Ees den arandee! Ees nuv! Ees sheeu! Weechu graks! Weechu ehda graks!"

"Meechoo roda theesa. Weechu den arandee meechoo, meechoo es'eesht roda theesa sta! Meechoo enya weechu ekla, eleeo eetee es'eesht theesa? Ji?!"

Ewoks conferred with one another with shrieks and forceful squeaks. The discussion soon turned into heated disagreements that dissolved into hostile arguments as several pushed to keep loving, while a few dismissed whatever arguments arose and shrieked at each other.

The rest of the Ewoks stood around watching the debate with great interest, shouting comments, squeaking loudly, shrieking forcefully, and screeching for several long seconds to make sure their opinions on the matter of love as well as Woklings were heard.

Some droids lost patience and pinched Ewoks' noses shut until they were thrashing, trembling, and finally went still when they had no pulse. The droids ensured no Ewok survived the torture, keeping their noses shut and plugged for dozens of minutes, long after the furry creatures suffered and writhed to their demise.

Tactical Droids and their troops shoved groups into narrow gas chambers inside the buildings where Ewoks went to deposit food or rest. Their fellows could only watch in horror as poisonous gases and venom were pumped into the chambers or into their fellows, quickly, slowly, rapidly, and efficiently crushing the life out of them.

In actual torture chambers being constructed close by, rack-like restraints kept the Ewoks face down in restraint bands, and Super Battle Droids tortured the creatures while they read the outputs of their nerve impulses and evaluated their brain chemistry.

They utilized the data to keep the pain at constant, agonizing levels. The device had many methods for inducing pain.

Stretching, ripping, tearing, severing of ligaments and joints, tearing, pulling, shredding of muscles, breaking and shattering bone, snapping tendons, acid, hot oil, electric shocks, saws, sharp devices, needles, thorns, and an array of bio-chemicals that could be injected.

When the Ewoks were at the brink of dying, the device intensified their wounds, while injecting them with chemicals to keep them conscious, alive, and awake. Once they began to plead, the droids injected the Ewoks with chemicals that targeted and sheared individual nerve endings, issuing pain to certain receptors with razor precision.

The Ewoks' neural pathways were all studied, and the droids were able trigger their body's pain receptors with practical ease.

When Ewoks tried to resist, they only managed to increase their pain.

It felt like every nerve ending and organ was on fire.

Other droids were more eager to study the make up of the Ewoks, subjecting thousands to an analysis grid. Normally a device designed to detect the physiology of any living thing by firing coherent beams of energy through the specimens, in the hands of battle droids, as well as being modified, it turned into a supreme torture device.

Feral spoke to the Ewoks in their native tongue, knowing they didn't have enough.

"Weechu chaaa arandee! Che womok! Weechu kaiya! Kaiya weechu! Weechu kaiya mo noot! Nub ehda ooba es'eesht seefo nuv! Weechu den nuv meechoo es'eesht entzahee roda theesa! Meechoo es'eesht weechu, weechu den nuv eleeo nuv!"

The Ewoks worked quickly, doing their best to ignore the piercing cries of their fellows squeaking in pain close by and struggling to escape from sadistic droids.

They dared not make a comment to the vicious demand of their sole god, the evil ruler of Endor, who hated them, despised them, killed them, ate them, and cooked them.

They didn't dare make a comment about how unfair and evil it was.

How could he not allow them to love?

How could he be so cruel as to demand no more love?

How could he demand them to not sing or dance?

The Ewoks struggled to comprehend it, a lot began to weep as they quickly tossed vines and branches back and forth across the gaps in the canopy, until a kind of grid of bridges was constructed, losing all hope for their liberty and freedom.

Feral found himself laughing as blubbering Ewoks set up their ladders and began to hastily climb into the trees, some were soon falling down from the tops, on their heads, breaking their necks on impact, or knocked their pitiful ladders over.

Larger Ewoks worked even faster to chop down branches and assemble another grid and laid large, heavy baskets on narrow platforms to stabilize them until smaller Ewoks struggled to carry them across the working area. The diminutive creatures worked even faster to dismantle the webbing of vines high in the trees and proceeded to try and do the same thing higher near the canopy at the cost of their lives.

Several dozen Ewoks close by brought Feral large slabs of their fellows dripping, raw flesh. Others brought entire trays piled high with arms, legs, torsos, and steaming heads. Others pushed entire pots, overflowing with Ewoks boiling alive or dying, their slow demise causing the water and oil to boil more.

Even more were brought from the cooking pit.

Feral downed the slabs of meat in a single gulp and moved onto the trays, devouring them with vicious speed as several Ewoks gathered watched in horror. He moved onto the boiling pots, pulling out entire corpses and slicing flesh clean from the bone.

They were so terrified at seeing this, in fact, the Ewoks began screeching and squealing loudly among themselves while pointing at the blood and bones flying around. His savage way of eating frightened the cowering Ewoks, and it was even more brutal when he turned his sights onto them, mauling them until they lay in a puddle of their blood, completely ripped to pieces and squeaking pitifully.

One Ewok not wishing to suffer the same fate brought Feral another large slab of meat before any of his fellows could. He grabbed the Ewok's arm, pulling it off at the shoulder, sending out a spurt of blood from the wound, while the Ewok screeched and thrashed around on the ground, he ate its arm.

Its shrieks turned into blubbery shrills.

Feral picked it up, holding it aloft as he ate it alive.

Other Ewoks needed no further warning and did quick back steps, shrieked, or stumbled backwards, at the same time they put their trays down and ran away, trying to blend in with other Ewoks gathered around bonfires that shrieked at the sight.

"Kaiya!" Feral shouted, blood flying from his mouth and the Ewok's carved carcass.

They nodded back rapidly while screeching at him and prostrating themselves. Lowly Ewoks began filling the buckets near them with berries and nuts with ten times the speed they had been moving before. They squeaked loudly and forcefully, pointing every few seconds.

The larger Ewoks quickly ascended and descended the ladders, gathered the baskets, chopped down the branches, and began to haul even larger buckets of fruits around towards the conveyors. Some broke their legs as they were forced to set baskets four times their size and height upright.

Smaller Ewoks assisted the larger Ewoks with carrying the heavy buckets and baskets to the conveyors, chattering fearfully among themselves as they looked from the trees, to Feral eating their fellows, bones and all, and finally back to each other in hopelessness.

They began to squeal and squeak loudly as hours passed, and several disagreements were breaking out among the large group.

The first Ewok to rebel was grabbed and tied to a long vine. The droid threw the Ewok so that hard it swung across to the far trunk hundreds of feet away. The grounded Ewoks worked quickly, doing their best to ignore the chokes of their fellow swinging around close by, kicking its legs and arm to no avail.

Berries and nuts were quickly tossed back and forth across the expanse, until the baskets were nearly overflowing. On the other side larger Ewoks assembled another grid of vines and laid them on, narrow, shaky branches to stabilize them as they made their way across.

Ewoks raced to take their fallen fellows' places, all of them quickly ascending the ladders as fast as they could while others carried and handled the stores of food, but none checked to see if those who plummeted were okay.

"Weechu den nuv!" Feral shouted.

"Ees nuv! Ees enya nuv! Weechu den es'eesht nuv!" The Ewoks gave the same response as before, refusing to forsake love.

"Weechu den nuv!"

"Ees nuv! Weechu na goo sta!"

"Weechu den x'iutha! Meechoo seefo weewa! Meechoo es'essht weechu moktok! Weechu den x'iutha, nuv den x'iutha! Meechoo es'eesht sta weechu nuv! Meechoo es'eesht nuv!" Feral declared.

Ewoks began to screech and squeak loudly, thousands of disagreements breaking out.

The first Ewok to speak stamped its foot, several more pointed their fingers at each other while shrieking.

Droids shackled these Ewoks and forced them to watch their friends and family get injected with chemicals to cause convulsions. The shackled Ewoks were dragged and pinned down, forced to watch in horror as droids, having at their disposal entire tables of torture devices all engineered to cut off ears, slice arms, stab armpits, and cleave faces ripped into Woklings.

Growing bored of just pinning them down, droids beat the Ewoks nearly unconscious, forcing them to watch their fellows die in screaming agony as they were thrown in pots of acid.

The shackled Ewoks were strapped into chairs jarring their muscles with jitters and spasms.

The seizures were as painful as they were maddening for the Ewoks.

Exhausted, dirty, and bloody, one Ewok raised its head to the sky above. "Ehda graks!"

All eyes turned up to see thousands of droid gunships descending upon the area, engines roaring with so much force they kicked up a dusty cloud about the Ewoks. A hailstorm of rocks blasted the landing droids, but they weren't fazed, covering Ewok warriors with fire.

Amid the sudden carnage and flashing barrages, the one particular sadistic Tactical Droid approached Feral, offering a salute to Feral before it glowered at the Ewoks.

"Move, you tree rat!" The droid snapped, smashing its finger through one's eye.

The Ewoks rushed so fast that in their hast, they actually scrambled across the ground, leaving more than one fellow behind to be flayed.

Feral climbed in right beside the Tactical Droid, and the massive ship lifted away, cannons and lasers firing at the retreating Ewoks before it went about smashing and dispersing Ewoks in the area trying to hide. It soared above them and the nearby landscape, peppering the expanse with hail fire.

Feral couldn't contain his smile at the incredible sight unfolding before him, as thousands of CIS ships rushed down on the assembled rebellious Ewoks, dropping tens of thousands of brown bodies to the ground, much more blaster fire, and even more rocket fire.

"More battalions to the right and above them. Pinch them, cluster them, then flay them."

With the gunships flying off and the battle droids now in full pursuit, one Ewok finally found the opportunity to slip down onto the blood soaked and charred ground. He called for his friend repeatedly, rushing from one pile of bodies to next pile of bodies.

He passed dismembered and charred Ewoks, then the ones right outside of the lava pit, then the dismembered bodies of his fellows that weren't enough to even bury.

But the Ewok called for his friend, knowing what had happened, simply because his friend, who was always there, wasn't there.

And then he saw the piece of head left behind with one eye.

"Jeerota..." The Ewok wept.

His legs gave out beneath him, and he fell to his knees beside the carnage.

"We need to exterminate those Ewoks that were being rebellious." The Tactical Droid said, its calm and steady voice surprising Feral.

"They will rally more to this stupid cause and we don't need these tree rats getting any ideas. They are only food and decorations."

"Certainly."

"I hate these creatures."

Feral looked at the droid and nodded, but managed to smirk. "A little resistance. It'd be a good way to get rid of more Ewoks besides the forty billion or so Sidious has requested."

"Captain, land at the assembly point just outside of the forest." The Tactical Droid ordered the Super Battle Droid driving the massive gunship, and the bulky droid was quick to settle the craft.

Feral and Super Battle Droids jumped out, but the Tactical Droid did not follow.

"Take me to the command center."

Feral screamed, thrusting his hand out forward even as Ewoks retreated from him and the attacking droids.

Dark side energy erupted from his open palm to catch them, lifting them in midair, and hurling them back to the edge of the crowd that had gathered around. Feral slowly clenched his fist and moved closer to his prey. On the ground before him, the arm-less and one arm Ewoks were writhing in agony, clutching at their throats or gasping for breath, and he squeezed his fist harder, feeling the force rushing through him as he crushed the life out of his victims.

The Ewoks feet pounded out rapid, soft thuds on the ground as their bodies trembled and convulsed, they began to gurgle, and white froth welled up from between their lips.

"Gyeesh den seefo!"

Feral ignored the pleading Ewoks close by, and a final surge of power roared up in the core of his being and exploded out into the world. In response, the Ewoks' bodies went stiff, their bones cracking, and their eyes bulged out from their heads.

Feral released his hold on them, their bodies went limp as the last vestiges of life ebbed away.

"I kill more now. Meechoo es'eesht hoji na-chin hoji weechu moktok!" Feral said, turning his back on the corpses and walking toward the live Ewoks, that began to retreat back into the forest.

The crowd of Ewoks quickly ran, screeching in horror and terror as they tried to push themselves and hide among the Ewoks working and cowering, forcing more and more to join the flight. Feral didn't need to look at them to keep track of their movements, he already knew where they'd be.

Feral advanced until he towered over the cowering, groveling creatures. It wasn't just the Ewoks he saw before him. It was everyone he'd ever struck down. Every life he'd ever taken. Clone Troopers, Jedi Masters, Jedi Knights, Padawans, Nightsisters, Nightbrothers, Twi'leks, slaves, nameless Republic soldiers, and billions more.

He was responsible for their deaths.

Even now they didn't weigh him down, because he was strong, he survived. Glee over the Nightsister's death had allowed him to dive deep into the dark side for months when he was younger.

The power had burned through him like molten lava.

He would continue to climb in power.

"Fudana! Na goo es'eesht!"

Feral arced through the air, decapitating his helpless foes. The torsos remained upright for a full second, the bloody edges of the stumps where the head had once been attached still gushing with blood.

Then they toppled forward or to either side.

Feral reached out with the force, and there were strangled cries of pain or fear from the Ewoks as the force tightened around them and hurled them up from the ground. Feral squeezed his fist harder, casually watching as the Ewoks struggled helplessly above him.

"Meechoo es'eesht weechu ees. Meechoo roda weechu kna!"

The Ewoks choked, unable to speak as the breath was squeezed slowly and precisely from their lungs.

"Meechoo es'eesht weechu kna. Meechoo stusl weechu kna bok chuu-ock."

Dawning horror spread across their scarred, furry faces and they tried to thrash around to escape the mighty grip. Feral tilted his head to the side, forcing the Ewoks to spin above him. Their mouths were gaping open, tongues forced all the way out, and their bodies began trembling as the pressure within grew unbearable.

Each movement took tremendous effort, even keeping their eyes open took all of their strength, yet the Ewoks could not find the strength to make their final pleas. Feral gave an indifferent shrug, and a slow, final push with his mind tightened the invisible vise.

The Ewoks mouths gaped wide to let out final screams, but with no air in their lungs it didn't come out, and their air was pierced by the snapping and crackling of their bones as well as their trachea. Feral simply let the corpses fall to the ground that had been crushed while watching the pitiful Ewoks roll around as he slowly severed their trachea, cutting off their air supply and forcing them to endure a slow death.

With half interest, Feral turned towards a droid close by.

"Get the small transports. Any Ewoks alive here we're going to send to the super weapon."

The gunship lifted away. As soon as they put down at the relative safety of the position that had been secured as the command center, a MagnaGuard rushed to meet the sliding door.

"Commander. All forward positions are advancing. We have the Ewoks pinned."

"Good. Concentrate all your fire on the nearest clusters of them where lord Feral was. Those Ewoks must all be killed, relay this to the units as well."

"Yes, sir!" The MagnaGuard ran off, organizing his leaders as he went.

Soon enough, groups of droid gunships began picking their targets in a more coordinated manner, and the concentrated fire succeeded where sporadic bursts could not, enveloping row after row after row of retreating Ewoks in bright flashes of fire.

The fire drove the rebellious Ewoks, the ones working, and some of the elders from the sheltering confines of the massive forest, leaving most of their supplies, ladders, baskets, and equipment behind, as they ran through the trees in a mad scramble to escape the searing lasers and blasts.

Those who stumbled, had no limbs, or fell were instantly swallowed up by the conflagration of destruction, while most managed to stay ahead of the deadly fires, eventually bursting out of the woods and into another area overflowing with Ewok slaves, where lines of Droideka waiting for them.

The first wave of Ewoks to emerge from the forest led by a group of warriors were mowed down by blaster-fire, burned and boiled by the super heat, bursting into pieces. Those just behind weren't able to defend nor deflect many of the deadly bolts as they raced out as fast as they could, only to be surrounded and pinched by the waves of Super Battle Droids marching forward to engage them.

Outnumbered, the Ewoks couldn't hold their own. The droids drove the Ewoks ranks back, breaking their lines and throwing them into more chaos and disarray. Cutting down down any Ewoks foolish or lucky enough enough to come in range of their staffs, the MagnaGuards began to pile up bodies in due time.

Woklings were among them, nothing more than another body in the ever growing pile.

Why were they still allowing these creatures to live?

What was Feral up to?

Millions of droids were swarming over, through, and around the area. Thousands of garrisons and battalions over every inch were not just an occupying force, but engaged in the long, painstaking process of preparing dead Ewoks for positive identification through blood scans.

The Ewok dead were to be tallied against the rolls maintained in their records of branding and blood analysis from before.

The Ewok dead would be cross-checked with crippled, maimed, mutilated, and alive. All the dead Ewoks had to be accounted for. This was turning out to be somewhat more complicated than the MagnaGuards and droid commanders had expected. Though the fighting had ended days ago, droids kept turning up missing. Usually small patrolling squads no more than a dozen, that made random sweeps through the long and vast patches of forest left behind, checking every tree and cave, every cliff and every trench.

Sometimes when they were by water bloated with fat Ewok bodies, the patrolling droids were found inside with them, and there were disturbing reports as well, officers and commanders coordinating the sweeps recorded a string of sightings of movement—usually a flash of fur disappearing around a corner, caught in a droid's peripheral scanners, that on investigation seemed to have been only imagination, or hallucination.

There were also multiple reports of inexplicable sounds coming from out of the way areas that turned out to be in the barren wastes surrounding them. Though droids were all programmed to be ruthlessly pragmatic, austere, and completely impervious to superstition, some of them began to suspect that there were still Ewoks unaccounted for or their spirits were at work.

In one part of the forest not being bombarded by aerial fire, one of the droids on the cleanup squad caught a glimpse of something moving beyond a fallen branch.

"Halt! You little tree rat! Don't move! Meechoo es'eesht weechu!"

The furry figure darted off into the gloom, and the droid turned to his squadron. "Let's flay that tree rat!"

Droids sprinted off into the mist, opening up with blasters and grenades.

Behind them, the large and wide piles of bodies they'd been working on, overshadowed two Ewoks without arms. They stepped over armored bodies to kneel beside blaster-burned, light-saber cloven corpses of Ewoks and Woklings. Most of them were in pieces, with their fingers and toes spacing out the pile and had been acting as supporters for the immense weight.

Tears flowed freely down their eyes, and they hadn't a chance to dry since their world had been plundered.

"Graks es'eesht theesa. Uuta graks roda na-chin."

The gray Ewok shook with sadness, weeping.

"Ees manna manna moktok."

The lighter Ewok of the pair turned to another stack of bodies, an older one judging by the stages of decay and bugs crawling through the Ewoks...Ewoks fully mature and at one point battle ready.

Grief made both Ewoks sob in horror.

"Graks roda shetai hoji hoji..."

The darker Ewok looked over and nodded sadly.

"Den lungee theesa. Chaaa, graks es'eesht ehda azar...Chaaa den bok chu-ock theesa."

They sank to their knees unaware of the droids that approached them quietly, blasters and knives held at the ready.

"Den mo goo...Den mo nuv...Ees den nuv den mo..." The lighter Ewok sobbed, rolling on the ground and gesticulating.

"Den mo che! Den mo nuv! Ees den sheeu!" The other Ewok wept, screeching.

Grief crippled them, at last.

There was no more light, no more love, no more freedom, no more liberty, and they had no names.

These two Ewoks finally accepted it.
